My Stepbrother, My Lover

Page 23

by Ward, Alice

Suddenly, I felt a shocking wetness and it took me a moment to realize that Jackson was dripping the chilled wine over my hot pussy. He drank it off of me and I fell over the edge. I cried out in ecstasy and Jackson pushed two fingers inside me. His lips clamped around my clit and I erupted in pleasure like I’d never known before. As the spasms left my body, Jackson pulled away to let me recover.

My breath steadied and I moved for Jackson’s cock. He shook his head and gently pushed me back onto the quilt.

“That was amazing. I was going to return the favor,” I told him as he crawled on top of me.

He held himself up with his elbows, his face just above mine. “I can’t take it anymore,” he told me. “I need you.”

Sweat dripped off of him but neither of us wanted to take the time for him to pull off his tuxedo shirt. Jackson fumbled through the duffle bag until he found a condom. He rolled it over his cock and turned his attention back to me. He sucked my neck and used one hand to guide himself into me. He buried his shaft in one fast, hard motion. I reached up and tugged his hair to let him know I was okay to be a little rough. He let out an animalistic grunt and increased his speed and force.

I knew Jackson had given over to instinct and it spurred me to do the same. It had only been a few days since we’d been together but in the moment, it felt more like years. Now that I finally had him again, I couldn’t get enough. I wanted him deeper, harder, and for our bodies to stay connected forever. I wrapped my arms around him and clawed his back as I clenched my pussy muscles around him like a vice.

“Oh… God…” Jackson moaned. He pulled out all but the tip of his cock and hovered motionless above me. “I can’t hold myself back when you do that,” he explained. “You were about to make me come.”

I was still euphoric from my first orgasm and I wanted him to feel the same way. I folded my legs around his ass and pushed him back in to me. “Don’t hold back,” I moaned. “Don’t ever hold back.” I clenched my muscles again and he drove in to me.

“Oh God, right there,” I moaned as I felt Jackson’s cock hit my magic button.

He moved back and forth, ever so slightly, rubbing the tip of his cock over my most sensitive spot. “Right there, baby?”

“Yes… yes,” I moaned. He put all of his weight on one arm and reached between my legs. He traced firm circles around my clit and waves of pleasure washed over me again.

“Are you coming for me, baby?” he whispered as he moved inside me.

“Yes…” I took his hand from my pussy and pulled him back on top of me. I reached between my legs and picked up where he left off, rubbing myself to prolong my ecstasy. Jackson’s mouth dropped open when he realized what I was doing.

“Come with me, baby,” I demanded.

He closed his eyes and pumped in to me with long, hard thrusts. In moments, his juices mixed with mine and we collapsed in a pile of sweat and satisfaction.

Jackson pulled his pants back up around his waist and reached for the wine. He offered me the bottle and I took a long sip before righting my gown. Jackson lay down on the quilt again and I curled up on his chest.

“Can we just sleep here tonight?” I asked hopefully.

Jackson shook his head. “This is a great spot, until the tide rolls in… but we can sleep together tonight. Our roommates have moved out, remember.”

  Thank GOD!

I looked up at him and smiled. “Your suite or mine?”

  ***

The next morning, I woke up early and slipped out of bed.

“Stay here,” Jackson mumbled, rolling over. “I really don’t think you have to worry about your mom stopping by your room.”

“I need to be there, just in case,” I replied. “Go back to sleep, I’ll meet you at the jet ski place at nine-thirty.” I crawled back in to bed and kissed his forehead. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me back down onto the mattress. It was all I could do to tear myself away.

“If I’m not there, she’ll definitely show up,” I insisted as I untangled myself from Jackson. “We’ll have all day together, you can live without me for a few hours.”

I rifled through Jackson’s suitcase and found a black t-shirt and bright yellow basketball shorts. The outfit clearly screamed “walk of shame” but it was better than traipsing back to my suite in my battered bridesmaid’s gown. I pulled on the clothes, thankful that the shorts had a long drawstring. I stepped into the bathroom, washed my face, and examined myself in the mirror.

Not bad… I could pass for someone on their way out for an early morning swim. And I’m just going down the hall. Chances are I won’t see anyone.

I grabbed my evening bag and crept out of the room. The hallway was clear but I still had an irrational fear of being caught. I raced to the door of my suite, slid my keycard into the lock, and rushed into the room.

If someone was watching the security monitors, I bet they got a laugh out of that. SHIT! I hope they don’t have cameras in this hallway!

I lay down on the bed and forced myself to do breathing exercises until my heart rate steadied.

I guess all of those Mommy and Me yoga classes actually paid off.

The telephone in my suite rang and I jumped straight up in the bed. I recovered from the shock and answered on the third ring.

  “Hello?”

“Good morning, sweetheart,” Mom sang. “I’m sorry to call so early, but Jack and I decided to go on a driving tour of the island. We’re going to spend the day among the locals, explore the real Fiji instead of the Americanized version. We thought you and Jackson might like to go with us.”

“Thanks, Mom, but we’ve booked the jet skis today and I was really looking forward to getting on the water.”

“Of course, darling,” she replied quickly. “Jack is indulging the sociologist in me today, but I know you’ve already had your fair share of that. Have fun, but for god’s sake be careful.”

“I will, Mom,” I promised. “I love you.”

“I love you too, darling. I’ll talk to you tonight.”

I popped the cordless phone back into its charger.

Thank god I came back to the room.

I felt confident that my secret was safe, so I curled up on the bed and drifted back to sleep. I woke up at nine o’clock, ate a quick breakfast of fruit and granola, and set off to meet Jackson at the jet skis. We met in the hallway.

“You look amazing,” Jackson smiled. “I hoped you’d wear the purple one today.”

“Thanks,” I replied with a grin. I was dressed in my purple bikini and the coordinating, sheer floral cover-up. I wanted to reach out and take Jackson’s hand, but I was content to wait. We’d be alone soon enough and we’d have the whole day together.

“I have a confession,” Jackson told me as we stepped onto the elevator.

  “What is it?”

“I’ve changed up our plans a little bit,” he grinned. “I emailed Danielle a few days ago and told her since I’ve been to the island so many times, we don’t need a guide for the jet skis or the hike. I explained that I wanted to show you a good time, as a way to welcome you into the family. And what’s the point of being the boss’ kids if you can’t pull some strings?”

“What did you do?” I asked with a suspicious grin.

“I commandeered the best the resort has to offer. We’re on our way to pick up one of the party boats. It’s stocked with lots of gourmet food and plenty to drink. We’ll tug two jet skis behind us, find a nice little cove to drop anchor, and leave the boat there while we explore the island. We could even spend the night on the water, if we want.”

I couldn’t think of a more perfect day and I told him so.

“That’s exactly what I wanted to hear,” he replied. “I want today to be just about us. Today we don’t have to pretend in front of our parents, avoid hotel staff, or worry about being caught. We can just be together… that’s all I want.”

The elevator doors opened and I spotted Danielle across the lobby. She
saw us too and rushed over to greet us.

“Kennedy, Jackson, it’s so nice to finally meet you! Everything’s ready for you at dock A. There’s extra gasoline in the boat’s port side storage. The jet ski keys are in the glove compartment, the boat keys are in the ignition. The kitchen has been stocked as you requested.”

“Thank you, Danielle,” Jackson told her with a smile. “I really appreciate all of your help. And thanks for letting us take everything out on our own.”

She waved off his gratitude. “It’s really no problem. You’re the boss’ kids, this is basically your stuff anyway. And if you tear anything up, you know who you’ll have to answer to,” she joked.

“We’ll bring everything back in one piece,” I promised.

“I know you will. Keep the boat as long as you want, just radio in your position every few hours,” she instructed.

  “Will do,” Jackson agreed.

We walked through the back exit of the main lobby and down the boardwalk to the docks. The hot sun was bright, and it took my eyes a moment to adjust. The white sand sparkled against the glistening blue water and, once again, I marveled at the fact that I was truly in paradise.

As promised, everything Jackson had asked for was waiting at dock A. I tossed my beach bag into the boat and climbed on board. Jackson followed and then untied the boat from the dock. He pushed off and started the engine while I took a seat beside him.

The party boat was basically a fancy ski boat, with plenty of cushioned seating and a cozy cabin under the solid deck. It could have easily fit six more people, but I was happy that we had it to ourselves. I watched Jackson navigate, confident and at ease.

“Do you know where we’re going?” I asked as we puttered away from the resort.

He nodded. “I spent most of last summer here with Granddad. We flew in for the ground breaking and stayed for a while to oversee the beginning of construction. Or rather, Granddad oversaw everything. I mostly went off on my own and explored. There’s a quiet little beach about twenty miles down shore. It’s mostly overgrown, but we can anchor there. We’ll have plenty of privacy.”

“Sounds good,” I agreed with a grin.

We passed the buoys that separated the resort’s private beach from open waters and Jackson punched the throttle. The boat raced across the top of the water, bouncing over the swelling waves.

The wind blew through my hair and saltwater sprayed me as we sped to the secluded cove. When we got there, Jackson dropped anchor, killed the engine, and wrapped his arms around me.

“What do you say we go below deck and test out that mattress?” Jackson suggested. He used his tongue to trace a slick trail from my ear to my collarbone.

I giggled and pulled away. “There will be plenty of time for that,” I insisted.

“You mean you don’t want me?” Jackson asked. He puffed out his lower lip and pretended to have his feelings hurt.

“Of course I do.” I laughed. “But I also want to have fun. Adventurous, outside fun. Once we get back to Boston, we’re going to be stuck in my room. Let’s explore the island, enjoy the fresh air together before we have to hide ourselves behind locked doors again.”

“You’re on,” Jackson agreed, winking at me. He opened the glove compartment and retrieved the jet ski keys. He tossed one two me and I slid the safety release bracelet onto my wrist.

“Do you know how to work these?” Jackson asked as he released the jet skis from their bindings.

I hopped onto one, pushed away from the boat, and started the engine. “I know how to work it,” I replied with a daring grin. “The question is, can you keep up with me?” I squeezed the gas and raced out of the cove. Jackson followed close behind and I let him take the lead as we flew down the shoreline.

We spent most of the day on the jet skis, exploring every inch of Fiji’s beaches. We returned to the boat to eat a picnic lunch of smoked local fish, roasted chicken, fresh tropical fruit, and a bottle of sangria. The food made us sluggish and the gentle ocean waves rocked us to sleep. We napped for about an hour and then we were on the water again.

By the end of the day we’d explored two caves, hiked to a majestic waterfall, and burned through all the extra gas on the jet skis. We tied them back onto the boat just as the sun started to dip below the horizon.

“This is so beautiful,” I said. It looked as if the sun was melting into the ocean.

“Yes it is,” Jackson agreed. I glanced in his direction and realized he was talking about me. He sat down on the wide bench seat and I settled onto his lap. We watched the sunset together in perfect, comfortable silence and I couldn’t remember a time I’d felt so content.

“I need to radio in,” he said once the last rays of sun had disappeared. “Do you want to stay out here tonight?”

“I wish we could,” I told him. “But if we don’t come back tonight our parents will worry. I know Mom will. She’d hate the idea of either of us sleeping on a boat.”

“They wouldn’t have to know,” Jackson assured me. “You were worried this morning for no reason. You were convinced that Gloria would stop by your room, but I talked to Dad right after you left. We could have spent the whole morning together and no one would have ever known.”

I shook my head. “Mom called me. And she called the suite, not my cell phone. It’s like she has some sort of radar that tells her when to check in on me. And honestly, Jackson, I’m not sure that I could sleep out here. The constant rocking is starting to make me nauseous. How about we go back to my suite, order room service, and run a hot bubble bath?”

“Sounds like a perfect plan to me,” Jackson agreed. He gave me a soft kiss on the lips, lifted anchor, and started the engine. I wiggled onto his lap. Jackson put one arm around me, kept his other hand on the wheel, and we stared up at the stars as we slowly made our way back to the docks.

  CHAPTER 10

“Kennedy…? Kennedy, wake up.” Jackson gently shook my shoulder and I stirred in my seat. I opened my eyes and yawned.

“We’ll be landing in Boston in twenty minutes,” he told me.

I glanced at my phone. It was five-thirty in the afternoon. Jackson and I had been traveling most of the day and our trip home hand been no more enjoyable than our flight to the island.

I’d been in a great mood when we arrived at the airport. But just before I turned my phone to airplane mode, Lauren sent me a cryptic text message. “Come home the second you land. Lots to tell you.” I showed the text to Jackson, but it was hard to talk about it with Rose moving in and out of the cabin. Somewhere over international waters, I’d fallen into a fitful sleep.

I lowered my footrest, rose to my feet, and stretched. Rose appeared as if she’d been lurking in the shadows, waiting for me to stir.

“That was quite a nap you had, Ms. Nightingale. Would you like a cup of coffee? I just brewed a fresh pot.”

“Coffee would be great,” I replied. “Black please.”

Rose disappeared and I turned to Jackson. “Maybe you shouldn’t come back to the room with me. We don’t know what’s going on, being seen together might not be the best idea,” I warned.

“We don’t know what’s going on,” he agreed. “Which is exactly why I’m coming with you. This is all my fault, Kennedy.”

I shook my head. “No, I’m the one who’s been antagonizing her. I went to the sorority house, I spun the story with Jade to embarrass her. You may have started it, but I’ve made it worse.”

“Assigning blame is a waste of time,” Jackson insisted. “We’re dealing with this together, Kennedy. If people see us together, they shouldn’t think anything of it. I’m your brother now, remember?”

I cringed, but I knew he was right. They fact that we were technically family now actually did give us a reason to hang out. “Okay… but we have to go straight to the room.”

“I know,” Jackson replied patiently. “I read the message.”

“One black coffee,” Rose sang as she stepped back in to the cabin. She held
a mug in each hand. “And Jackson, I took the liberty of bringing you one with cream and sugar. It’s been a long flight, I thought you might like a pick me up.”

“Thank you, Rose.” Jackson smiled as he accepted his coffee. I took mine from her other hand and she walked back towards the galley.

“Go ahead and buckle up kids,” she called over her shoulder. “The Captain says we’ll be descending soon.”

We buckled our seatbelts and I turned to Jackson. “Back to the real world,” I said with a sad smile.

Just the day before, we’d been in our own little world. A world where it didn’t matter who are parents were and we didn’t have to worry about Meredith’s lies. But the fantasy was over and it was finally time to face reality. I had a feeling that things had already started unraveling and I knew it wouldn’t stop until the truth about Jackson and I came out. I knew even the best possible outcome would include tears, hurt feelings, and sensationalized drama. But I also knew Jackson was worth every bit of it. The jet began its descent and I braced myself for what was to come.

  ***

Jackson and I made it from the airport to Lowell House in record time. I jumped out of his BMW the moment he put it in park and raced up to my room.

“How bad is it?” I asked as I stormed through the door. Lauren and Rory were curled up on her bed, watching a movie.

“Kennedy, how was your vacation?” Lauren asked. She climbed out of bed and rushed over to hug me.

“Hey Kennedy, where’s Jackson?” Rory asked.

“I’m right here,” Jackson said through heavy breaths. I pulled away from Lauren and turned to see him leaning in the doorway. “Kennedy got a head start in the parking lot. That text you sent has her worried.”
