He protested against her throbbing clit. She knew how much he loved making her come on his face, but she wouldn’t be ignored.

Lydia gripped his hair in both hands, and she pulled his mouth from the juncture of her thighs. She fought a giggle as he glared at her and growled like a dog being pulled away from his favorite bone. “Get your cock inside me and come with me. Together. Right now, I want to come together.”

With a nod, Damian stood to his full height and pulled her to the edge of the counter, shoving his dick inside her in one swift motion. “Jesus, it never gets old, does it? You’ll always feel like heaven to me.”

“Yes, God, please. So good.” She could tell Damian was holding back, trying not to let his barbarian side out, but she wanted that side of him in this moment. Wanted the truest form of who he was beneath the three-piece suits and brilliant mind. Wanted to see him at his basest level. “Let go. Fuck me like the brute you are.”

“You want the devil, my Angel?”

Lydia nodded, a spark of excitement igniting in her chest and spreading like wildfire through her veins. Yes, she wanted her devil man.

An evil glint in his eye, Damian pulled out from her body and flipped her over so that her upper body lay flat on the island. “You asked for it.”

He shoved roughly back into her, not pausing or letting her acclimate to his size in this position. One hand cracked down on her ass as he retreated from her body, then his hips punched into the stinging flesh as he thrust back in. “I want to see my handprint on this ass for days. Teach you to go out without panties on. You want other men to smell this pussy?” He reached around, cupping her overheated sex. “You like thinking about all those men hoping to get a glimpse of what’s mine.”

“No, I like thinking about how easy it would be for you to take me at any time.”

Apparently liking that answer, Damian sped up his thrusts, alternating slaps to her ass from side to side. Lydia braced her hands on the hard granite, trying to absorb the impact of her hips slamming into the edge. Noticing what she was doing, Damian paused for a moment, reaching into a drawer next to them and pulling out a pile of dish towels. He pulled her hips away from the counter so he could drape the towels over the edge, right where they would cushion her hips from pounding into the edge. Even at his most brutal, he still took care of her, ensured that she wouldn’t be sore the next day. Or at least not in places he didn’t want her to be sore.

Without missing a beat, Damian went to town fucking her in his harsh fashion as soon as she was settled back in place. “You should see your pretty ass right now, so red and warm from my hands.” He leaned over, pressing his hard chest against the curve of her spine.

One hand came up, snaking around her throat to add a little pressure on her windpipe, making his power over her known. “I think I’m going to change the game a little here.”

Lydia glanced back at him, her confusion showing on her face plain as day.

“You don’t get to come until you agree to put my ring on your finger.” His other hand appeared on the counter, placing a small robin’s-egg blue box just in front of her face. “I’ll come as often as I like, but you only come when you agree to be my wife.”

Tears sprang to her eyes. It might not have been the most conventional proposal. After all, his dick was shoved to the hilt inside her, he was slightly choking her, and her butt cheeks burned from his punishment. But it was them through and through.

Lydia’s hand flew to the box, and he held it steady as she flipped the top up. “Holy shit.” The ring was anything but traditional as well. Not a diamond in sight, bead-set emeralds surrounded a large pillow-cut sapphire in a platinum setting. The colors matched her unique eyes almost exactly. It was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen, because it was her.

“So what is it going to be, Angel? You say yes and I let you come now, or I spend the next few hours covering you in my cum while I deny you your pleasure, then you say yes?”

For once, she didn’t want to delay either of their desires. “Yes. I’ll be your wife. Make me come, then later you can cover me in your cum while I wear your ring.”

“Fucking perfect answer.” Damian removed the ring from the box and slid it onto her finger, then let loose once again, fucking her with a renewed vigor. He pinched and twisted her nipples, bit at the back of her neck, and pounded into her until she was nothing but a whimpering mess of hormones and nerve endings.

At the first flutterings of her orgasm, Damian gripped both her hands, pinning her hard to the island, and slammed home one last time, spilling his seed deep into her. They both screamed and groaned, their noises mixing together until they could no longer tell whose they were.

Once their intense climaxes ebbed away, Damian turned Lydia in his arms, scooped her up, and carried her to their bedroom. He laid her gently down onto the bed, lying next to her and tucking her under his chin. “I love you. I can’t believe I get to marry that amazing woman I read about in a magazine.”

“I love you, too. I can’t believe I’m marrying the guy who stalked and blackmailed me.” They both laughed, enjoying the moment as they stared at the ring on her finger.

Lacy Henson spent her life on the wrong side. She was destined to never achieve her dream to design. Then Jamison stepped into her life. An eighteen-year-old rich boy who stole her heart and crushed her future. She walked away, determined to prove to him, and the fashion world, that her designs deserved a chance. When an opportunity opened Lacy wanted to go for it, but it came with a price. The man from her past that was a constant reminder of where she came from, and who she was. Could she protect her heart, and hide her feelings long enough to prove her capabilities? Or will his corporation, and stature once again destroy her dreams, and break her heart.

Lacy, did you hear me? He’s coming. That delicious piece of man candy will be here. Oh, sweet mother of mercy, someone save me.” Maria collapsed into her chair. “The goddess himself, in the flesh, at our marketing meeting. I’m going to have trouble keeping that board room cool with the heat coming off him.” Maria swooned, fanning her face with the folder she gripped in her hand.

Lacy’s friend had a flair for the dramatic, and she had to be wrong. The marketing meetings were never attended by anyone from main office. Especially not him.

“Are you sure? I can’t imagine why anyone from corporate would come down here. Especially when they have a rep skype in for our information. You must have misunderstood.” Lacy Austin worked for Michaels Entertainment and Marketing firm for five years. She started in art design and worked her way up to management without ever running into him. She spun around in her chair, searching her e-mail for anything that would verify what her friend had just dropped in her lap.

“I got the word straight from Melissa, his secretary. She said Mr. Dreamy would be here himself. I truly think she was warning us. But who cares. He’s coming. I get to rub elbows with the most gorgeous man alive.”

“You mean the most unapproachable, untouchable man alive.” Lacy said under her breath. “Don’t you remember how we were shunned by him, and his mother, at the Masquerade party?” Lacy cringed as the memory raced through her mind.

“I remember how he drooled all over you. What happened?” Maria asked as she propped her six-inch heels on top of Lacy’s desk.

“Nothing, He had no idea it was me. But his Mother did. She made me feel like my Versace dress was off the rack from Walmart when she remarked on its lack of appeal.” Lacy wished that was all it was, but her face reddened as the night resurfaced in her mind. His hands on her waist, the cool marble wall against her back, his mouth devouring hers. She wanted him, all of him, and would have given him anything that night. But he didn’t want her. He wanted the dark-haired woman in the red sequined dress cut low in the front and even lower in the back with a matching red mask. One large enough to hide who she was, yet allowing him access to lips that have dreamt of his taste. She shook her head, erasing the memory of his touch and the taste of his lips on hers.

“Do you mind? Those weapons will scratch the wood.” Lacy laughed as her friend slid her shoes across the top, lowering them to the floor.

“You’re just jealous because I have balance, and you don’t.” Maria crossed her long legs and leaned forward. “You are the only girl I know that can trip over air. Now spill it. I never pried before.”

“Really?” Lacy raised her eyebrows, and shook her head, as the fake shock spread across her friend’s face. Didn’t pry my ass, she hounded Lacy for weeks. “Let’s just say the mask fell off. Once his Mother found out who I was she pushed him into the arms of Angelica Stevens, right in front of me. Announcing their engagement. Something he forgot to mention.” Lacy kicked the leg of her desk to hide the aggravation that still lingered. “I’m from the South side, not the Upper West. And his Mother never hid her opinion that I’m not quite good enough for her son.” Lacy pounded on her keyboard.

“Okay, she doesn’t like you, but she still hired you. It can’t be that bad.” Maria said sarcastically.

“Well, she didn’t quite hire me, and I don’t think she realized I worked here until that night. Now she just tolerates me because I cover a few of their biggest clients. Or I would have been fired a long time ago.”

“Well, let’s not give her any reason to do anything rash. I need you here, so I can keep my cushy job.” Maria smoothed out the wrinkles from the front of her bright red sweater. “You can’t expect me to train a new one, it took me three years to mold you.” Maria laughed as she stood in front of Lacy. Or more like towered over her. Lacy was barely five three, and Maria was at least five ten. All legs and heels. Lacy was jealous.

“Now move that skinny butt of yours. We need to get ready.” Maria said as she scooped up a stack of files from Lacy’s desk and turned towards the conference room.

“You’re right.” Lacy piled up the rest and stood. “Does everyone have the information for next week’s campaign? That includes you Markus. We all know you’re playing Candy Crush and not collecting the data I asked for yesterday.” The office was made up of eight cubicles. Four lining each side. Lacy, and the other marketers, used the open atmosphere to work together as a team.

  “I heard that.” Grumbled Markus.

“I meant for you to. Now gather the Dalton contract. We need to have it ready to present. Let’s meet in the conference room in ten minutes.” Lacy grabbed her bag.

“Maria, can you check again with Melissa?” Lacy asked. “Jamison Michaels never leaves corporate. This is the wrong side of the city for his type. Our campaign isn’t even one of his. I just don’t get it.” Lacy tried to hide her confusion. Just saying his name made her body heat up.

“I’ll check, but she wouldn’t tell me if it wasn’t true.” Maria dropped the files, grabbing her phone. “Didn’t you Mr. sexy go to school together, or something? Maybe you can use the, we go way back card. I would love a crack at one of his high dollar contracts. The bonus attached to those would pay my rent for a year.”

“The past is called the past for a reason. And we get good contracts, and great bonuses when we finish on time. Now let’s move it. If they’re coming, we need to clean up, and be ready.” Lacy buried her fear as they moved around boxes, and stacks of papers, from their last campaign. She stopped at the window and stared out into the bright blue sky. They did go to school together, a very long time ago. Jamison, who she remembered as Jamie, was in her art class in High School. He was just a class nerd and her first big crush. She loved to watch his brush float across the canvas, making it come alive. And he was a master at molding a ball of clay into a work of art. She sighed and dropped her forehead against the cold window pane. At first, she was invisible. The shy girl in the back, trying to make sense of the color wheel. Then one day he chose her to be his partner for a contest. The Appleton Advertising agency contest. One she wanted to win but was too afraid to even apply. They spent months together and his attention turned her hidden crush into her first real love. She spent nights dreaming about those hands all over her. Then the night of the exhibit her dream came true. Their project won the event and he picked her up, spun her around and kissed her. It was amazing. His lips melted into hers and she felt like the bell of the ball until his Mother stepped in and pulled him away. She made sure Lacy knew he was meant for a higher class than her. She ran from the room and never looked back. That was the last time she saw him. His mother moved him to a private school and she was once again just the nerdy artist in the back.

“Hello Space cadet. Return to earth.” Maria said as she snapped her fingers.

Lacy blinked out of her race through memory lane and stepped back.

“Your cheeks are so red. it’s obvious you’re still hot for the dreamy executive.” Maria laughed as Lacy pushed past her to open the filing cabinet.

“Just a hot flash, now spill it. Did you get a hold of Melissa? Did she tell you why’s he coming?”

Maria rocked back and forth on her heels, and her smile widened. “You will want to sit for this.” Her laugh filled the room. “Melissa was out, but I talked to David from sales. He and I dated a few times. Not a bad kisser but short on the—”

Lacy threw her hand up. “Please, no details. Just tell me what he knows.”

“Well, fine then.” Maria said. “He said we were being considered for the red-carpet back wall, and the runway for Chicago Fashion. Isn’t that amazing?”

Lacy just stared at her friend in complete shock. This was a dream come true. Her chance to bring her designs in front of the top executives in the field. “This is freaking awesome. Do you know what this means? If we nail this, we will have our designs seen by the world.”

“Sugar, you need to take a breath. This is amazing, and I’m busting out with idea
s. But David would tell me anything to get another chance at this handful of love. I’ll just verify it with Melissa, especially the part where they were choosing a team from this office.” Maria’s hand waved between them as a connection. “It might even be us. That’s the only explanation I can think that would make Mr. Dreamy lower his standards and come down here. But I don’t care. I’m so damn excited to be in the same building with him. He’s so delish, and what about those—”

Markus’s head popped up over the cubicle. “Those what? I’m all ears if it involves work, but I’m not dying for knowledge on what’s under his Armani suit. So please stop.”

Maria rolled her eyes. “You’re just jealous he’s not coming here for you.”

Markus leaned over, A devious smile spread over his face and it sickened Lacy. She lost so many deals to him and not because of his talent. Sucks when you must compete with a stockholder’s son.

“I’d put a cap on all this excitement. I also heard from David. He said they were choosing a team from this office. They’re coming to announce who they want.” A file dropped on the desk in front of Lacy. “And here’s your data. I’m finishing up my projects, so I can concentrate on my new assignment. The one I know I’m going to get. David has inside information that it’s going to be us. And I don’t mean you and me.” He dropped back out of site with just his hideous laugh echoing through the office.

Maria moved in closer. “That’s not true. We have a chance.” She whispered so Markus could not hear. But Lacy knew better

“Who are we kidding.” Lacy dropped into her chair and spun around as Maria sat on the edge of her desk. “We are two nerdy girls, Markus and David are GQ at its finest. Oh, I hate my life right now.”
