Seduction in a Suit: An Office Romance Collection

  There.

That should make it clear where her interests lie. She sent signals that she was not interested beyond her professional obligation. He replied ten minutes later.

Kenneth: I’m hoping she likes vintage action figures from the seventies and eighties.

Because guys like Kenneth always had toys. She had to cover a laugh.

Reese: I’ll be there at 7 with throw pillows and black and white photos. Be ready with boxes and trash bags. Toys go in one room.

She waited several minutes for the reply. Was he panicked?

Kenneth: Where does the life-size Darth Vader go? Bedroom or living room?

  He was joking, right? Right?

  Kenneth: I’m joking.

Kenneth: He’s already in the den.

She sat back, expelling a whoosh of air. This was truly her last chance at making this work. He was already exceptionally forgiving of her many trespasses.

  Reese: See you at 7?

  Kenneth: See you then.

Reese bounded cheerful and energized into the office early on Thursday morning. She was on the road to success. Her decorating efforts with Kenneth the night before had gone without the slightest hitch—and she had barely fantasized about his porcelain vampire skin and toned physique once.

Well, maybe once or twice. But that was it.

His apartment was cleared of clutter and tastefully brightened with a selection of sofa pillows, a plush blanket, new comforter for the bedroom, a mix of photos and framed pictures, and a couple of second-hand oddities she had picked up in garage sales.

Mental fist pump. He was getting close.

  Apartment? Check.

  Clothes? Check.

  Conversation skills? Vastly improved.

Dancing? He wouldn’t accidently kill anyone.

  Seduction?

Well, she really couldn’t answer that one. Reese was biased at this point, but he must never know. After taking three thousand dollars from him, she couldn’t allow any more physical contact.

Which reminded her—she had been meaning to ask what his position here was, but every time they were together, it seemed like the wrong time to bring it up. But they were client and coach, why should she be nervous about asking him questions? Because she might not like the answer?

  Her office phone rang.

  “Hi, this is Reese speaking.”

There was a beat of silence. “It’s Kenneth. Do you have a moment? I’ve been wondering what you think of my worksheets. You didn’t say anything, so I’ve begun to fear the worst.”

A tight ring settled around her throat. Reese swallowed hard, glancing at her watch. Somehow she had made it in fifteen minutes early. As soon as she could speak, she said, “I have a few minutes and there aren’t any accounting emergencies. Come up for a quick coffee?”

  “Great. Be right there.”

The worksheets. The worksheets. Yes, there was the file. She had completely forgotten them yesterday. Again, this would normally be an exercise in reflection that took a couple of weeks, not days.

Day, at this point. His date was tomorrow.

Reese’s stomach twisted. He was there at the doorway to the open office. She waved him in and led the way to the coffee room. They should have the place to themselves, since there was the breakfast bar with croissants and coffee at the other end of the office.

Just as she suspected, there was no one in the cozy cafeteria. She shut the door behind him. “Right. Coffee?”

“Reese, I need to say something. It’s about the worksheets and everything you’ve done for me so far.”

“Oh. All right.” Kenneth knew it wasn’t working. Her coaching wasn’t going to help him. Her stomach knotted tighter and she dropped her gaze. His sleeves. He had them buttoned again. She reached for them at the same time as he did and their hands tangled up. Reese sucked in her breath.

  “Sleeves,” he whispered. “Bad habits.”

“Yeah.” When he didn’t stop her, she unbuttoned one and rolled the edge up. Heart pounding, she paused.

“Keep going,” he said. She didn’t recognize his voice. “Don’t stop, Reese.”

Her palms tingled and her nerves jumped with every flutter of her fingers on his skin. He inhaled sharply when she unbuttoned the next sleeve. She reminded herself she was helping him because he had paid her. It didn’t mean anything.

Kenneth studied her face and she felt a burning flush creep up her cheeks. But she couldn’t tear her eyes from his. He must have read her every thought and sensed her every desire because he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. The light touch set off sparks that tingled through her skin to her bones.

He ran a finger along her hot cheek to her to her chin.

“Did you want that coffee?” he asked. The question rumbled low from his chest.

  “No. You?”

  “No.”

He bent until his face was level to hers and tilted his head. Very slowly, he placed a kiss right at the corner of her mouth, half on her lips and half on her cheek. She gasped, fingers curling around his forearms. His nearness was intoxicating.

She was aching and needy—the day had only just begun, but she wished it was night so she could pull him into her bed.

He placed another kiss on her jaw. And then one under it. He ran sweet little kisses down her throat to the V in the middle. It was hard to breath, and she let her head fall back.

His strong arm bent around her waist.

Body pressed to his, her hands tipped their way up his back. “I shouldn’t do this.”

  “Then don’t.”

“But I want to,” she said.

“So do I,” was his broken reply.

Reese’s hands found his nape and pulled him downwards. Her lips locked on his, and he lifted her to press her against the wall. Her legs wrapped around his waist, and she bit his lips with urgency. He groaned softly into her mouth.

Clinging to him, she kissed him deeper. She was going to lose it. She ached so badly, she was going to lose it.

His kisses were a delirious mix of need and desire and promises. And promises were for keeping.

Reese fisted his hair. “Fuck, I want you. I’ve wanted you since I first saw you. I want you now.”

What was she saying—was this really her?

She dug her fingers in his shoulders, and his chest was pressed hard to her hers. Her nipples tightened at his touch. Her panties would be soaked soon. This was insane, they were in the coffee breakroom. Unless…

“Lock the door,” she said. “We should have a few minutes.”

He let her slide to the floor, then reached over and pressed the lock.

Wait. This was really insane. He was a virgin, they couldn’t do this. “Kenneth—”

“Reese, you have no idea how bad I want you, too. So fucking much.”

She unbuttoned her top, exposing her bra and the tops of her breasts, and reached for his pants. “You want this?”

“God, there are no words to explain how much I want to do this to you,” he breathed. He traced the top of her breast, leaving a sea of tingling goosebumps.

“Then do it.” Reese released the hook button of her pants and slid them down her legs as he watched, dropped her heels on the floor, and stood half-naked before him.

He hooked his thumbs in her panties, breathing hard. She covered his hands with hers and eased them downwards. His gaze on her skin was as tangible as the slide of his hands. Thankfully the wall supported her; she wouldn’t have been able to stand on her shaking legs.

No, wait. She didn’t have her purse in here. Dammit, dammit, dammit.

“Kenneth, I don’t have a condom with me,” she whispered.

“It’s all right. You told me to be prepared.” He reached into his shirt pocket and removed a small, slim case. “I did research. This was the safest solution.”

“Of course you researched it.” Amen for research.

She grabbed his hair for another kiss, needing his lips on her
s. The other hand wound its way to his pants. She couldn’t get enough of his kisses, his body, his masculine smell. Caught between the hard press of his warm chest and the cold wall, she shivered. She burned. She ached for this geeky, sexy man like no other.

He stopped her from taking off his pants and knelt. He was on his fucking knees for her.

“I need you now,” she whispered, tugging at his shirt. They didn’t have time—

Her voice dried up to a soft whimper. He lifted her foot to prop it on his shoulder. She was naked and completely exposed.

“You know, Reese, it’s true what they say about nice guys. They always finish last.”

He traced a path up her leg and to the sweet spot of her sex. Quivering as he brushed her curves and folds, she gave up trying to speak. Jolts of pleasure tingled through her center. When he kissed her, she had to fist her hands to keep from crying out, her fingernails buried in her palms. He explored her deeply. With nothing but her toys to keep her company for the last two years, this was like coming back to life.

Her pussy shouted, stomped, and waved pompoms. Or maybe that was her inner angel, the one with the lace lingerie and all sorts of demands. Or maybe it was wishful thinking for herself, absolutely silent and pinned to the wall while fireworks lighted up her core. He moved a finger into her, teasing slow as his tongue took her to new heights. Her head spun. An orgasm was already building.

He was the virgin, but giving her pleasure was more important that getting rid of his V card. And she shook with what he gave her. The heat and soft glide of his tongue on her sex and inside her increased her need.

Breathing through clenched teeth, she willed herself not to make noise. But she couldn’t resist fisting handfuls of his hair and pulling him closer. Wetness surged, and she breathed her desires as quietly as possible.

“Please, give it to me. I need—” Hushed moans came from her throat when she couldn’t articulate words.

It was too much. She cracked, her control rattling loose. The world spun away, her only thought to bite her own hand and keep quiet. Thrilling lines of pleasure shot from her core, to her spine, over her skin, and into her scalp. She was biting, she was holding her breath, she was grasping his hair, she was trembling in the hold of her orgasm. And then she was in Kenneth’s arms.

“Fuck that was amazing,” Kenneth whispered, rocking her gently in place. Air returned to her lungs, and the room stopped spinning as they stood together. “You are amazing.”

“Just wait,” she managed to gasp. She took ahold of his pants and carefully eased them down. His swollen cock edged free. A drop of precum glistened on the smooth head.

  She licked it.

“Holy fuck,” he muttered. His arms went around her hips and he kicked his pants free. He lifted her to the counter. She bit her lips in anticipation and watched as he tore open the condom package. He hesitated.

With a grin she took it from him and rolled it on his erection. He closed his eyes, shuddering.

“You should watch if you want to,” she said, drawing him in with her legs wrapped around his waist. Sitting on the counter, she leaned back on her hands, inviting him to admire her body.

The tip of his cock was at her entrance. His breathing was ragged, but he locked his eyes on hers, steady and intense. Fuck, she was ready to give him this.

“Look down,” she whispered, guiding him inside her.

They breathed in together, a gulp for air, a shared gasp to keep from drowning.

  Kenneth

She was too beautiful. Everything about her was gorgeous. Her flushed face and glistening skin, her round, soft breasts and the swell and curve of her waist to her the plump, wet sex. He hurried to bury himself in her.

  And he was in.

He pressed harder to reach as deeply into her as possible as she moaned softly. Hammering pounded his chest.

“Yes, like that.” Her voice was a faint sigh. “Take my hips.”

Reese guided his hands to her hips and he grabbed them firmly. His nerves thrummed with the glorious sensation of being with her. He thrust—it was an electric shock to his heart, knocking him stunned. Instincts took over and he thrust again. He moved her hips in rhythm with his body, and she responded by clasping him tighter with her legs. A fine sheen of sweat broke out across his back and arms.

“Fuck, I’m going to come again,” she said. She arched her back, breasts high, and moaned.

It was too much for him.

Molten heat coiled in his hips, spreading to his gut, moving upwards. He was caught in it. There was nothing but earth-shaking bliss. His world rocked, tilting on end. He was falling. He was soaring. He was lost, and his orgasm crashed through his body. Teeth clenched, muscles strained to their limit, he fought to not shout.

  Reese held him, panting.

The world came back to focus. They were in the coffee breakroom, clothes scattered across the floor.

“Holy shit fuck.” That was as coherent as he could be at the moment. “That was…that was…”

“Holy shit fuck?” she asked with a wry grin. “It was indeed.”

He stepped back, still in a daze, and held her hand as she jumped to the floor. She helped him remove the condom and wrap it carefully to hide in the trash. They scrambled for their clothes.

All the while, he kept glancing at her sideways, amazed. Through a curtain of shining black hair, she grinned at him.

He couldn’t believe she wanted to be with him, how lucky he was. The geek. The bean-pole. The outcast clicking away at his computer keyboard through the weekend nights, hoping his phone would buzz with a message or a call. And here he was with Reese.

“We should go.” She kissed him quickly on the lips. Her hair was still terribly disheveled, cropped waves going in every direction.

It wasn’t enough. He grabbed her around the waist for a full body kiss. She sighed in his mouth.

Then she straightened his hair. Tucking in her shirt, she put her ear to the door. “Sounds clear.” She opened the door.

Clem, the perky colleague, was standing opposite the door against the wall holding a huge mug of coffee.

Reese squealed in surprise. That didn’t look suspicious in the least.

  Not. In. The. Least.

“Hi, Reese,” Clem said. “I didn’t know you were already here.”

“Hi, yeah. We were going over some numbers,” Reese said, jerking her thumb at the break room and nearly throat-punching Kenneth.

He dodged and nodded in agreement. “Coffee. Numbers. You know.”

“Oh, I know.” Clem nodded slowly.

“Yeah,” said Reese. “It was easier to concentrate. That way we didn’t crowd the breakfast bar. We made coffee here. He got the filters down for me from the top shelf. So handy.”

“Filters from the top shelf?” Clem asked, incredulous.

“So handy to have a guy with an extra twelve inches, am I right or am I right?” Reese babbled.

Clem’s eyes grew larger as her eyebrows shot up. “Twelve inches, huh? Well, I better get back to my desk.” She sauntered off, shaking her head.

Reese wiped her face. “That sounded wrong, didn’t it?”

“I won’t judge. I wasn’t able to say anything at all.” The rest of his blood was finally returning to his head. “Lunch?”

“I have a lunch meeting with Melanie. Maybe I could come over tonight?” she asked.

“God, yes.” That came out more desperate than he intended, but she smiled. “Reese, I—” He stopped.

  “What?”

“I’ll see you soon.” Kenneth backed away, then headed at a trot to the elevator. He knew he was grinning like an idiot who had just had massively satisfying sex.

  For the First. Fucking. Time.

He stepped into the empty elevator. The doors closed and he fell to his knees, hands clasped to the sky.

Success! Heavenly honey-wheat beer and fried dill-pickle chips, success!

Victory was his. He had given
a woman an orgasm, felt the earth shaking as she finished under his tongue and around his fingers.

Then they had engaged in coitus—copulated, screwed, fucked, made it to fourth, fadoodled, you name it—but honestly, it was crazy-amazing sex in a break room until she had given him an orgasm and the world had stopped spinning.

His virginity was officially toast. Dust in the wind. Twenty-eight years, four months, seventeen days, and some odd minutes. He could calculate later, not now. His brain wasn’t in the mood for math.

He had to celebrate. He had to do something.

In secret, of course, because a gentleman never bragged. But fuck, this called for a celebration.

He checked his phone for meetings. Work was a nightmare. Really.

Life had been so much simpler when he could work from home in ripped jeans and cool tees. Rarely shaving. Ordering delivery twice a day.

But then if his company hadn’t been bought by Orbis Tech, he never would have met Reese. When he realized she wrote the advice blog and did life coaching, it was like a neon sign pointing out the path to take. Except, it wasn’t the path he had planned. He had never once imagined she would be the one.

His first. It was nothing like he had imagined and so much more.

He needed to do it again. Would it work as well? What if she didn’t orgasm? He’d be a failure. Failure was not an option. He’d keep working until she did.

Women were different than men, though. That much had been clear in the hundred or so books he had read. There were techniques, toys, visual stimulations, fantasies. Women orgasmed in their minds as much as in their bodies.

Guys were more straightforward. All he would need was for her to want him.

He required tech support for her, though.

The elevator reached his floor. He lurched to his feet before anyone saw him on his knees and ran his hands through his hair.

The world had changed, but no one else knew. He had to contain his desire to scream and shout the good news to them. They were all glued to their screens, hunched over their keyboards, slurping their cold coffee.

It was a geek’s paradise on the engineering floor. A ping-pong table covered with laptops, a gaming screen, skee-ball in the corner, poofs, a hammock, posters, and quiet. No one got too loud down here unless it was game night. Then things got a little rowdy. It was almost worth putting on regular clothes and coming to work. He couldn’t work now, though. His head buzzed with ideas, his body burned for more of Reese.
