He entered her again and immediately thrust as he had before, fast and hard. Emily came again within seconds.
The next time he moved slowly as Emily pounded on his shoulders, begging him to go faster. But when she came proclaiming ‘Oh God, yes,’ he knew that he’d done it just right.
Emily was calming down. It was time for him to come. He made love to her the way he needed it. Then he filled her with his seed, showing her body how much he adored it. She was the sexiest woman on the planet to him.
Oliver eased his body down so he was laying on her. He’d pumped every last bit of his seed into her. She had to be pregnant.
He kissed her and told her how much he loved her and only her.
Emily told him that he was amazing in bed.
“That’s funny. I was just going to say the same thing to you.” He kissed her lips to stop any fight that might start about who was the driving force in bed.
They both needed each other and felt comfortable enough with the other to tell them what they needed.
Chapter 18
Emily felt it. She was getting her period. She excused herself and went to the bathroom. Sure enough, when she wiped, there was blood on the toilet paper.
She sobbed as she cleaned herself.
Now she had to go to Oliver and tell him that she wasn’t pregnant. He’d been whispering into her ear all day what he planned to do with her once the servants went home for the day. He wanted to make love to her, and he wanted her to get pregnant. She felt like such a failure.
Emily took her time, returning to the living room. It was raining outside. The weather perfectly reflected how she felt inside.
Oliver felt her mood the moment she entered the room. He watched her sit down and pick up the magazine about Japanese gardens that she was reading.
“Next month, baby.”
Emily looked at him and nodded.
Oliver saw the hurt in her eyes. He needed to do something to make her smile. “We’ll double our efforts next month. Twice the sex should do the trick.” He winked at her playfully.
“Daddy,” Emily said, slapping his leg playfully with her magazine. She smiled at him.
Despite their efforts, Emily got her period again the next month.
Nanny bought Emily several books about wanting to have a child. Emily poured over them as she’d poured over her garden books and magazines before.
Each source said the same thing. A woman should be in good health before she got pregnant. That meant that she needed to lose weight.
Emily claimed to be full after eating half of what she had before, and she never ate dessert. When she played with Samantha, they exercised together.
Oliver noticed that Emily was acting a little odd, but he assumed that she stop in a few days. However, when he noticed that her bra was getting too big for her, he knew it was time to step in. He feared that she was depressed.
He had the cook make her favorite dishes and desserts.
Emily would only eat small portions, and then she’d want to leave the table to avoid temptation.
Oliver felt like he did with his old girlfriends, alone. He clearly told her that mealtimes were family time. This was their time to talk and get caught up with each other.
“I don’t have anything to share with you. Nothing ever happens to me other than getting my period each month.”
“Em, you’re putting too much pressure on yourself. You’ll get pregnant again when your body is ready.”
“What if my body is never ready?” she asked.
“We’ve talked about this. Adoption is the answer. It’s almost grotesque to bring a child into this world while others are starving and alone.”
“But our baby is someone too, and he wants to come back home,” Emily protested.
“What if his soul went to other parents? He may already have a happy home.”
“No.” Tears filled Emily’s eyes. “You can’t say that. Don’t ever say that.”
“I’m sorry, but we need a plan B in case you never get pregnant.”
“You want to give up?” Emily felt like her heart was breaking.
“No, we aren’t giving up, but I don’t want our life to be focused on just this one topic. I want you to tell me about school, about choir, about what you and Nanny talked about today, and what plans you have for the garden. I want to have long enjoyable meals with you. This is my idea of what a family should be like.”
“Do you want to hear what I think family life should be like?” Emily said, meanly.
“Of course. That’s what I’m telling you. I want to talk to you.”
“To me a family is a father, a mother and children. If we don’t have a child, then we aren’t a family.”
Oliver was shocked that she’d say something like that. It wasn’t true. She was his family. He felt it deep inside of his soul. She was his real family. “Don’t say that, Em. You’re going too far.”
“I know what the problem is. You don’t want another baby, and you’re trying to sabotage me.” Emily spat her words of accusation at him.
“I beg your pardon.” Oliver slammed the side of his fist into the table.
“You heard me.”
“Yes, I did, but I wish I hadn’t.”
Emily rolled her eyes as she pouted in her chair with her arms crossed over her body.
Oliver knew what he had to do. He’d hoped that he’d never have to do this, but he could see that it couldn’t be helped.
Oliver picked up his napkin and wiped his mouth. He laid his napkin down and stood up. “Stand up, Emily.”
“Finally, this stupid meal is over.” She got up and went out of the dining room.
When she headed for the living room, he stopped her. “I want to go upstairs, Emily.”
A chill went down Emily’s back. He almost never called her Emily, and now he had twice.
“Is something wrong?” she asked.
“You have to ask?” Oliver couldn’t believe it. It was like someone new had taken up residence in his wife’s body.
Oliver brought her up to their bedroom and closed the door behind them. “Take off your clothes, Emily.”
Oliver removed his dinner jacket and unbuttoned the cuff on his right sleeve. He laid the link in a bowl where he put them when he took them off.
Emily thought that they were going to make love so Daddy could prove how much he wanted a child. She liked that idea, but when she noticed that he wasn’t taking off his shirt but only rolling up the sleeve, she stopped undressing.
“Daddy, no,” she pleaded with him. The thought of her loving daddy spanking her was breaking her heart. She’d come to believe that he’d never would her.
“Emily, I’m mad as hell. I highly doubt that it’s wise to make me wait.”
Emily took a step back. “I didn’t mean to make you mad, Daddy.”
“Yes, you did. You put a lot of effort into it. Get undressed, Emily. Completely,” he added.
“I can’t, not if you’re watching me.”
“That’s part of the punishment. You should be ashamed of the way you acted. You weren’t. I even got the feeling that you were proud of yourself for telling me off.”
Emily bit her lip. Her mind raced, trying to think of a way to get out of this. “I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.”
“I’m glad to hear that.” Oliver said nothing else as he looked at his wife and waited for her to undress.
“Daddy, I promise that it will never happen again.”
Oliver looked in her huge blue eyes, and he was tempted to believe her, but he knew that if he didn’t take care of this today the way it needed to be taken care of, that there would be a repeat performance where she blamed him for everything that wasn’t going right in her life.
“Emily, I’m waiting. You’re being very rude to me.”
Emily hung her head and started to cry. “I don’t want you to see me naked.”
“What?” Oliver looked at her. She wasn’t making any sense.
Emily covered her face with her hands.
“I see you naked every day?” Oliver didn’t understand what was going through his wife’s head now.
“This is different,” she wailed.
“How so? Naked is naked,” he protested.
“If you aren’t …” Emily sniffled. “Horny. You’ll notice that I’m fat.”
“For Christ’s sake. When are you going to get over that? This isn’t healthy behavior, Emily,” he scolded her. “Get undressed now. This is going to be so much worse because you refuse to listen.”
Every doubt that Oliver had about spanking his wife faded away. She had it coming, and he’d see to it that she’d get what she had coming and get it good. His hand was burning to make contact with its target.
Slowly and while still sniffling, Emily removed her clothes. She went to her nightstand and pulled a tissue out of the box to clean up her face.
“Get over my knee, Emily.”
“Please no.”
“Emily, now. My patience is gone.”
Emily reluctantly went to him and stood between his knees. “I’ll never do it again. I promise.”
“I’m sure you won’t by the time I’m done with you. But at the moment, I’m positive that if I don’t spank you, you’ll cry and promise that it will never happen again each time you need a spanking. I need to show you how serious I am.”
Emily’s chin wobbled as she turned to the side and laid what she felt was her ugly fat body over her daddy’s perfect leg. She was certain that he’d be able to see the true her now. To her, it was clear that he wouldn’t like what he saw.
Oliver was indeed looking at her body. He was drinking in her pale white skin. It was perfect like alabaster. It was a crime to mark it, but this needed to be done.
He laid his hand protectively over her hind cheeks and rubbed them warm, wanting to prepare her for what was about to come.
“This is a spanking to teach my precious wife several things. The first is that your atrocious behavior won’t be accepted.”
Oliver brought his hand down on her perfect left cheek. Immediately, his handprint appeared. He smacked her right cheek even harder.
“Oh,” Emily whimpered. It had been so long since she’d been punished. She knew that she wasn’t going to take this well. Her daddy would have yet another reason to be disappointed with her.
Oliver smacked her cheeks alternating back and forth while Emily made little noises, letting him know that she was feeling what he wanted her too. This spanking would be no joke.
“You hurt my feelings, Emily. And I know that was your intention. You may never do that again. There is nothing that you can’t say to me, but you’ll speak civilly with me.” Oliver’s hand swung through the air, attacking her bottom, making her flinch and squirm.
“The second reason is that I do want a child.” Oliver rubbed her pink cheeks, relieving some of the pain he’d caused her. He’d been the first to hold their tiny baby in his hands. Their baby hadn’t even had real eyes yet. “The poor thing didn’t get a chance to live. I’d do anything in my power to take back what happened, but it isn’t in my power. I’m so sorry that I can’t turn around what happened.”
He leaned down and kissed both of Emily’s pink-spanked cheeks.
Oliver sat up and covered her with his hand. He gave her a sharp smack on each of her cheeks. “Third, Emily, you need to learn to see yourself through my eyes. I’m completely dedicated to you. Why wouldn’t I be. You’re usually a lovely person, and you’re so gorgeous.” Having her warm body over his was already starting to have an effect on him. Blood was flooding his penis, and suggesting that he should forget the spanking and make love to her. He reached between her legs and stroked over her clitoris.
Emily moaned out. She didn’t want to give into his words, but he was saying exactly what her heart needed to hear.
“The fourth thing is about obsessing. At first, it was the garden, and then it was the baby. You need to learn that everything has to be enjoyed in proportion.” He was still stroking her clitoris leisurely.
“The fifth thing is obedience.” He released her clitoris and gave her several more smacks as her body tensed up. “I clearly told you to stop in the dining room, and you didn’t. Then I told you to remove your clothes and again you refused me. That leads us to the sixth reason for this spanking. No bargaining. This isn’t a bazaar. You can’t dicker with me about a spanking. Begging and pleading isn’t fair to me either. This isn’t something that I enjoy.” Oliver hoped that she couldn’t feel his throbbing penis.
Emily looked back at him with a raised eyebrow.
Damn, she’d noticed. “That’s because I have an attractive naked woman over my knee. It’s a reflex. I explained to you about that on our wedding night.”
Emily pressed her lips together so she wouldn’t smile.
“You don’t need to smile. I’m not finished yet.”
Emily lowered her head and wiped her eyes with the tissue she still had in her hand.
“The seventh reason for this spanking is so you know that you can depend on me. When I say that you’re going to get a spanking, I will spank you. You can count on me. When I say that I love you exactly the way you are, you can believe that too. And when I say that I’ll do everything in my power to help our baby come back, I mean that too. But that too might not be in my power.”
Oliver could hardly breathe. The thought of not being able to give the person he loved the most what she wanted most was breaking his heart. He hated that they were in this situation. “I need a hug, Em.”
Emily heard her daddy’s tears. She stood and sat down on his knees and wrapped her arms around him. “I’m so sorry. Thank you for spanking me, Daddy. It won’t happen again. You’ll never need to do it again. But if you do, I’ll be good for you. I know you love me. The way I am,” she added.
Oliver had to smile at her. “I love you so much, baby.”
“I love you too. I’m so ashamed of myself. You’re the most important person to me, and I treated you badly.”
Oliver closed his eyes first now realizing how much he needed to hear her say that she loved him.
He hugged her and kissed her. His hands cupped her breasts. “Why did you want to lose weight in the breast area?” That was something that had confused the hell out of him.
“I didn’t. The thing is: breasts are the first place you lose weight. You don’t have to target that area specifically.”
“Who thought that shit up? Of all the places.” Oliver shook his head and hugged Emily tighter. “I like you exactly the way you are. I’ve never said otherwise. If you want to lose a little weight and do an exercise program with Samantha, I’m all for that, but our family time is precious to me. Hearing you say we weren’t a real family broke my heart. You can’t say terrible things like that, Emily. I’m not a strong enough man to take that. You’ll break me.”
“I’m to weak to break you.” She didn’t believe him.
“To me, you’re the most wonderful woman in the world. And yes, you do have the power to break me.”
Chapter 19
Oliver stopped off to buy a perfect pink rose for his wife. She’d gotten her period again this month. They’d been trying and trying, but it wasn’t easy to get pregnant when you wanted to be so desperately.
Oliver had talked to Brian this afternoon after their tennis match.
Brian had confessed that he couldn’t have children because of a sickness he’d had as a child. He feared that Amelia would want a baby one-day. Then, he’d have to confess that he couldn’t give her what she longed for.
Oliver feared that Emily was somehow damaged beyond repair too. She wanted to give him a child. It meant a lot to her.
Brian had suggested a clinic in Switzerland. He even called and made an appointment for them. They’d be spending Christmas there.
He got the rose to soften the blow about the news.
Oliver feared that Emily would balk at flying again.
He wished that everything had happened as it should. He wanted Emily to be as happy with him as he was with her.
Oliver found his wife outside in the garden. A light dusting of snow covered the rosebushes. The branches were brown, and they looked dead. Emily had covered the roots with a pile of dry leaves. Then she placed evergreen branches over them to protect them from the winter. In spring, they’d come back to life. Emily thought that same thing was happening to their baby.
Emily was lost in thought. She hadn’t heard her husband sneaking up behind her. Suddenly, a perfect pink rose appeared in front of her.
“A beautiful rose for a beautiful girl.”
“Thank you, Daddy.” Emily took the rose from him.
“I have something I want to tell you. Before you say no, I want you to hear me out. I talked to Brian this afternoon, about our troubles. He made an appointment for us in Switzerland to get artificially inseminated. I know that’s a big step, but, maybe we should consider it.”
“No. I mean no I don’t have to consider it. Yes, we’ll go.”
“Just like that?” Oliver asked.
“Yes. Our baby is depending on us. I won’t let him down.”
“Him or her,” Oliver corrected her. It was uncanny the way she always spoke of a son.
“I want this. A baby will solve all of our problems”
“Whoa, wait a second. What problems?” Oliver asked her.
“Your uncle feels so bad that he can’t even look at me. Your mother was the one to put me up to it in the first place, so she feels guilty about that, and your father has given up hope. He sends me brochures about different adoption agencies. And worst of all, you think you’ve disappointed me. You haven’t. But having a child would make all of that stop.”
“That isn’t a good reason to have a baby.” Oliver lifted one of her black curls with his finger and wrapped it around his finger.
“I’d like to have a child.”
