Sighing, I roll away from him and look around the room to find my bag. Seeing it on the desk, I make my way over to it and grab the ringing device from the bag. Seeing the number, I groan and silence it. I don’t want to talk to him. Not right now when I’m still basking in the amazing sex that I’ve had so far.

“Important?” He’s staring right at the phone in my hand.

  “No, not at all.”

I shove my phone back in my bag and it starts ringing again. I groan and silence it once more before making my way back to the bed. He isn’t going to stop calling until I answer it. I already know that. I climb into the bed and pull the sheet up just as it starts to ring again.

Before I can stop him, he gets up and goes straight to my bag and phone. He pulls it out and hits the answer button before putting it to his ear.

  “Who’s this?” he asks.

I put my hand to my forehead and watch him.

“No, she’s busy. I’ve got her on her knees, taking my dick in her mouth.”

I close my eyes as I think of what Darious is thinking right now. His jealousy is probably getting the best of him and he’s probably thinking of some way to punish me if he ever gets me in his bed again.

“Trust me, I had her screaming out my name all night and I’ll continue to have her riding my dick until she’s too sore to move for a week.”

He shoots me a cocky grin and I feel my body heat at the thought of orgasms and spankings. God, I wonder what else he has up his sleeve. I’m dying to find out what other toys he has in that little bag of his.

“Why don’t you go get bent and stay the fuck away from my girl?” His voice carries a tone of possessiveness, but I ignore it and chalk it up to him just scaring away my ex.

There is no way he could have feelings for me. Nope, that isn’t happening. One weekend doesn’t give you feelings.

I don’t catch the rest of what he says because I’m too busy trying to tell myself that I can’t be falling for someone in one night. It’s impossible. I just love the dirty sex that he has been providing all night and morning, that’s it.

Before he can hang up, his phone starts to ring again and I see him roll his eyes at it before telling Darious that he needs to find someone else to chase and to leave me alone. Once he hangs up on Darious, he hits some buttons on his phone before putting it to his ear. I watch him as he waits for whoever is on the other end of the line and when they answer he walks into the bathroom.

“Hey fuckface,” he greets the other person.

I lie back against the pillows and try not to think of all the things that Darious will call me when he gets a hold of me later. I can already picture the look on his face as he realizes that I am with someone else right now. He is probably throwing shit around his place while cursing my name in vain.

One thing that Darious is not is a saint. He lives to be a dick, or so it seems. I can’t even tell you the number of times that I thought he was going to hurt me because he got so angry at me for whatever stupid reason he had at the moment.

Darious has a bit of a temper and most days he scared the crap out of me. Maybe that’s why the sex was always so off the charts.

“So is he a better fuck?”

The question pulls me from my own thoughts and I can’t find the words to give him an answer. Is Darious a better lay? No, not by a long shot. He may have fucked me really well, but he doesn’t set my skin on fire with just one look like Wren does.

  “No,” I finally forced out.

He’s still staring at me like he’s trying to figure out if I’m just saying that or if I really mean it.

“So I make you come harder than he does?” he asks, kissing my neck.

I nod my head yes and tip my head to the side to give him better access. His teeth graze against my skin and I can’t suppress the moan. I swear he could be whispering the alphabet in my ear and it would still get me wet.

“I bet you’re wet right now.”

I nod again and before he can go any further, there’s a knock on the door. He groans and collapses on the bed next to me.

“He has the best damn timing,” he mutters more to himself than anything.

He gets off the bed and grabs a tee out of his bag and hands it to me before pulling on a pair of jeans that he leaves unbuttoned. I quickly pull the shirt over my head just as he makes his way to the door and all but flings the damn thing open. I cover my thighs with the blankets and try to finger brush my hair enough so I don’t look like the train wreck I pretty much am.

A guy with long curly dark brown hair comes walking into the room behind Wren. When he moves from behind Wren, I get a little better look at him. He’s got both of his arms sleeved up with tattoos and I notice his piercings in his face. He’s got his nose pierced and his lip pierced. I stare at him for far longer than I should and finally I realized where I saw him before.

“You were at the club last night too.”

Both of their heads turn to look at me and Wren has a grin on his face while the other one just stares at me with a curious look on his face.

“Ah, you must be Jericho, Elias’ piece of ass that Trigger stole.”

I see Wren elbow his friend in the side and the guy just holds his hands up.

“Is he still pissed?” I ask, ignoring whatever it is they are giving each other dirty looks about. I don’t care why he called Wren Trigger.

If I have to deal with a pissy Elias, the night will be one for the books.

“Yeah, I would steer clear of him for the night if possible. He had a few choice words for you, Wren.” His friend grins at him before waggling his eyebrows at him.

Instead of wanting to stay for their little bromance, I decide that maybe it’s time I get going. I have some things I need to do before work and I really want to get a nap in before I have to work until three a.m. tonight.

I leave the comfort of the bed and grab my clothes from the floor, heading straight for the bathroom. I see the look on the friend’s face and I can only imagine the smart-ass comment he’s bound to say, but he doesn’t say a word before I get into the bathroom and shut the door behind me.

Leaning back against the door for a second, I take a few deep breaths. I can do this. It’s pretty much the walk of shame from his hotel room, but that’s okay. It’s better to cut ties now than let myself get any more attached to him.

After I dress quickly, I run my fingers through my hair a few times to tame it the best I can with what I have. I could use his things, but it might be a little weird. His one-night stand using his hygiene products after locking herself in his bathroom, real classy.

By the time I walk out of the bathroom, Wren still hasn’t put a shirt on and another guy has joined their little bromance. When the new guy looks up from the phone they are all looking at, his eyes widen. He doesn’t say anything, and part of me is glad for that. I don’t let them distract me from walking over to where my purse is. I grab it and pretty much make my way to the door without another word.

I’m not good with things like this, so I typically think just leaving is the better solution even if it makes things awkward for the rest of the people in the room. Before I can make it out the door, Wren is behind me, grabbing my waist and pulling me back into his body.

“Not so fast. I’m not letting you leave without a goodbye kiss,” he murmurs in my ear.

His breath dances against my earlobe and it takes everything in me not to moan. I’m sure I have marks on my skin that are going to be visible tonight and that will only piss Elias off more.

He spins me around and the sexy grin that he’s been giving me since I met him is on full display.

“I’m sorry they showed up. I told Enver to keep the guys busy until you had to work, but clearly, he doesn’t listen.”

I bite the inside of my lip and the only thing I can focus on is his mouth. Call me crazy, but every time he speaks, I’m drawn in. I want to just do whatever it is he says, even if I know that it is a stupid decision.
r />   “It’s fine. I have stuff I need to do before work anyway. Plus, I should take a nap since someone kept me up throughout the night.”

He presses his lips against mine and kisses me deeply before pulling away slightly.

“What time do you get off?”

“When you tie me to the bed and hit my ass with a crop.”

A mischievous smirk crosses his face and he just shakes his head at me.

“Come by when you get off work. I need another replay of last night and this morning.”

I don’t give him an answer; instead, I pull away and open the door. I throw him a wink over my shoulder before letting the door close behind me.

  Chapter 12

  Wren

“I still can’t fucking believe you pulled that piece of ass the night you got here,” Deklin says groaning.

“You should have seen that fucking body spread out naked on my bed last night when I had her tied to it.” I shoot them all a grin and Dek is the one who is getting up and making his way toward me.

“Please tell me she has a friend, or maybe a sister. A slutty fucking sister would be good right now.” He rubs his hands together and I just shake my head at that.

Deklin is the biggest horn dog I know. He is still one of my best friends even though we haven’t really seen eye to eye lately.

I look around the room at my bandmates. As much as I like having them around for the most part, I’m still pissed that Enver didn’t keep these fuckers away for a few more hours.

“Thanks, Saint for keeping these dicks away so I could finish out my afternoon buried deep in her cunt until she had to go to work.”

He flips me the bird, not at all remorseful for the shit he pulled.

“Oh please. She looks like a goody two shoes. You like them dirty bitches that all but fuck missionary. Don’t act like he wasn’t doing you a favor,” Graham says rolling his eyes.

“Yeah, Shadow’s right,” Dek says from where he’s now sitting on the bed.

“You guys have no fucking clue what she was letting me do to her last night.”

I hear a phone ring and I know it’s not any of ours. I look for where I left her phone and Dek holds it up before I can find it.

  “Looking for something?” He grins.

I snatch it out of his hand and check the screen. It’s the same number I answered before these idiots showed up in my room. I silence the call and wait for the screen to clear before trying to open it. I stare at the passcode screen for a few minutes before I try the word dirty as the code with numbers.

  34789

The phone opens and I see a picture of some guy on the back screen. Staring at it for a second, I try to make out who it is, but it’s no use. The lighting sucks and it looks like some live show she might have gone to at some point.

I search her phone for anything that can give me an idea where she lives, but I come up empty. At least this gives me a reason to go and see her tonight at her work.

“You stealing her phone now?” Saint asks when I am too engrossed in looking through her pictures.

I know I shouldn’t, but I’m curious as fuck as to what she’s into. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find a naked selfie or something on here that I can send myself.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s an invasion of privacy, but I don’t really care all that much.

When I finally find a few pictures of her on her knees, I feel my dick harden. I know she didn’t take them herself and part of that makes me jealous, but fuck she looks fucking amazing at his feet. I can bet that it’s the dick I was talking to on her phone. He’s got a belt in his hand and she’s naked and looking up at the camera with the look of submission.

“I know you’re not thinking about music with that.” I look up and see a smirk on Shadow’s face.

“Fuck all of you,” I mutter. I click the photo and bring up the option to send it to someone. I send it to myself in a text before closing her photos and slipping her phone into my pocket.

“Ello wants us to perform a new song this weekend,” Dek says, looking up from his phone that he’s had his face in for the last ten minutes. He’s probably on his Facebook page trying to see what groupies are here for him to fuck.

“A new song? Are you shitting me?” I run my hand through my hair and groan.

We haven’t written shit in the last few months and now he wants us to play something new. That cocksucker does this shit on purpose. He wants us to play something new because he knows we don’t have it. It’s his way of lighting a match under our asses to get new material out.

“Where the fuck does he want us to pull a new song from? Our asses?” Saint sneers. “I swear that dick wants to take my boot up his ass.”

I grin at that. Saint may be the nicest out of us, but he still has a temper that rivals most. He can single-handedly beat the fuck out of men twice as big as him. Plus, he is one of the best guitarists out there right now.

“Neither of you have worked on anything lately?” Shadow asks, looking between Saint and me. “Come on Trigger, I know that it’s all you do when we aren’t on the road. Maybe that hot little number will get the juices flowing again.” He waggles his eyebrows at me and I just shake my head and run my hand down my face.

We are so fucked right now.

I may commit murder by the end of this weekend and the first one up is Shadow.

The phone to my room starts to ring and I look at the guys and they all shrug their shoulders like they have no idea who would be calling the room phone. Walking over to it, I put it to my ear and grunt out a “What?”

A chuckle fills my ear and I internally groan when I hear him speak. “Good to know you aren’t too hungover today.” Ello’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard most days and right now is no different.

“Yeah, I had something else to get drunk on. What do you want?” I bite out.

I’m pissed that he scheduled a performance on my weekend off and I know he’s calling to tell us we have something else scheduled now. It’s what he does. Instead of planning this shit out like a normal manager, he throws shit at us and expects us to do it.

There have been plenty of times where I’ve walked out of interviews and promotional shit just because of the shit he’s pulled. He thinks that if we don’t get a chance to approve it, then we are just going to do it. I don’t give in to anyone and I do things my own way for a reason. Ello and I don’t ever see eye to eye and this right here is why.

“I have you guys on a radio show out there in Vegas in two hours. I need you all to be there and willing to answer questions. Also, there is a meet and greet before the show tomorrow night.”

I press my fingers into my temples and massage the tension that is forming because of this prick.

“You mean, you scheduled us a radio interview and didn’t say shit and now we have two hours to get there?” The room grows tense and I know most of it is because of me. The guys feed off of me most of the time and that’s what probably makes Ello’s job even more challenging, but I don’t give a shit.

  “Don’t be so dramatic, Trigger.”

I can picture him rolling his eyes at me right now and I think about murder for the second time in ten minutes.

Instead of trying to talk to him, I hand the phone to Dek and let him deal with that shit. He is typically the one who runs interference with Ello anyways and it keeps me from murdering the bastard.

Dek agrees to a few things before he puts his foot down and tells Ello to go fly a kite. His words, not mine. I would have used far more colorful words.

We watch him for a second before he slams the phone down and starts muttering to himself. “I fucking hate that guy sometimes.”

“What did he say? Saint asks.

“That we have shit to do and a song to play that’s never been heard tomorrow night. Plus a radio interview that we can’t back out of and a meet and greet before the show.”

  “Fucking shit,” I groan.

I had fucking plans tonight and now I get
to write a brand new song in only a few hours.

“When does our equipment get here?” I ask, falling back on the bed next to Saint.

“A few hours. He has the road crew flying in with it.” I shake my head, not bothering to sit up.

“What if we just play an acoustic version of something new? That way we don’t have to kill ourselves trying to learn everything,” Shadow suggests.

“Sounds fucking better than all of us putting something shitty together that will not be ready for people to hear,” I grumble.

“What radio show we going on?” Saint questions, throwing a sock at me that he found in the bed.

The first thing I did when I got here was take a nap and I ended up stripping naked because the damn room was so fucking hot.

“Some local rock station. Ello said he would send a car to pick us up in thirty.”

Fucking shit. Now, we all need to get ready and become Arduous Murder.

“I didn’t bring anything but street clothes. Wasn’t planning on having to do this shit on my vacation,” I sigh when I roll over to my stomach and push myself up and off the bed.

It still smells like her and fuck, I want to get her naked and tied to the bed again.

“Yeah, me either. All I have are a pair of jeans that I can use. You guys bring anything else besides what you’re wearing?” Saint throws in.

Dek goes to his bag that he left by the door. “Good thing I didn’t drop my bag off yet. I thought you fuckers could use some clothes. He pulls out a couple of ripped tees and tosses them at us and I pull it over my head before Shadow tosses a pair of ripped jeans at me. I undo the ones I’m wearing and push them down my ass, flashing them all my dick and ass. It’s not like we don’t change in front of each other every fucking day on the road. I’ve seen them naked more times than anyone else I know.

I pull the jeans up and button them. “Fuck, dude.”

I look over at Dek and he shakes his head. “You’ve got some gnarly scratches down your back.”

I lift my shirt back up and walk over to the full-length mirror by the door to check out the damage.
