He leaned down to kiss me, my arms wrapping around his neck. We struggled to the bed, my fingers working at his shirt. His hand ran up my naked thigh as he lay on top of me, starting to grind into me.

There was suddenly a knock at the door. Quinn looked up, sighing. ‘Shit.’

‘Who the hell is that at this time of the night?’ I asked.

‘I don’t know, but I’m going to check,’ he said, getting off me.

‘No!’ I said. ‘We should pretend that we’re asleep.’

‘I’m going to check,’ he said. ‘You stay here, exactly like that.’

He walked out of the room, fixing his shirt. I jumped up, walking to the doorway and listening as he opened the front door.

‘Ellie,’ he said. ‘What are you doing here?’

‘I just wanted to... say congratulations,’ she said.

  ‘OK...’ Quinn said.

Congratulations at this time of the night?

‘That couldn’t have waited until tomorrow? A normal time?’ he asked.

‘I’m sorry, I just, I had... I just wanted to tell you I’m OK with it,’ she said. ‘I’m sorry. I’m happy for you.’

  My brow lifted, listening carefully.

‘Well, thank you,’ he said. ‘Goodnight.’

  ‘Goodnight,’ she said.

The door closed. Quinn walked back, seeing me in the doorway.

‘I thought I told you to stay on the bed?’

‘What the hell was that?’ I asked. ‘Congratulating you at two in the morning?’

‘Apparently,’ he said, taking my naked waist in his hands. ‘I don’t know what she was going on about. I don’t really care. I just care about now, you and me.’

I smiled as he kissed at my neck, wrapping my arms around him. I would say I didn’t care, but it was true; it was just him, me, here and now. That’s all that mattered.

He picked me up, leading me to the bed and putting me down. He got on top of me again, my fingers working at the buttons on his shirt, undoing his bow tie as he kissed me slow and long, his tongue massaging my own. I pushed his shirt off his shoulders.

I undid his pants, pulling them down as he kissed my neck. He kissed my collar bone, down to my chest, taking my left breast in his hand. I pushed it towards his mouth, my whole body on fire. He teasingly kissed around my nipple before taking it in his mouth, sucking on it long and hard.

I pushed my hand up into his hair, feeling how soft and silky his curls were, driving me crazy as I lifted my hips against him. He didn’t let up, his tongue flicking the tiny bud before he took it into his mouth again, sucking as hard as he could, making me squirm beneath him.

He moved from one breast to the other, giving it just as much attention. It reminded me of the first time we ever had sex. Now I felt like a sex fiend, always on the hunt for new and exciting ways to have Quinn’s body.

I put my hands above me, underneath the pillow as he sucked on my nipple, flicking it before engulfing it once again. I held onto the pillow tightly as he looked up, making eye contact as he devoured my body.

My breathing picked up as he kissed down my stomach, lingering at my hip bone and causing me to jolt from the bit of pleasure that washed through me quickly. His tongue trailed down to my thigh, kissing and licking at it, giving a light bite, which surprised me.

‘I like that,’ I said with a little giggle.

He bit me again, making me moan. He continued to alternate between kissing and biting before he glossed over my sex, going back to my stomach and kissing his way back up to my mouth.

I turned, pushing him down on the bed and running my hands down his body, stroking back up as I kissed his stomach, down to his erection. I took it gently with my hand, putting it in my mouth, swirling my tongue around the head before going as far as I could, sucking my way back up.

I played with his balls, kissing them, licking up his shaft once more. I kissed my way back up his stomach, as he had done to me, kissing his neck and his mouth.

My body was on fire trying to keep things slow and steady, but everything in me wanted to jump him. He was just as slow, grabbing hold of me and pinning me on the bed, kissing my chest before he let his head rest on me.

  ‘What’s wrong?’ I asked breathlessly.

He stayed quiet for a moment. ‘Nothing.’

He grabbed hold of my leg, putting it up on his hip as he grabbed hold of himself and pushed into me. He began to slowly rock into me. It felt good, probably better than I had imagined. I’d always liked it hard and fast, so the slow rocking was a surprise that felt amazing.

He braced himself against the mattress, his torso hovering above me as he started to put his entire body into his thrust. I called out, my hands going to his back, holding onto him as he gave another thrust, just as slow, with just as much power behind it.

He started to go faster, my body responding quickly. As he went faster my orgasm kept up, my moans getting louder. My body felt like it was on fire, sweat gathering on my forehead and dripping into my hairline, my legs starting to shake uncontrollably.

‘Quinn, I’m going to come,’ I said.

His grunts got louder as his face strained, trying to hold on while my orgasm peaked, coming so hard I felt like I was going to pass out. Stars exploded, my eyes shutting hard as I let out a yell, unable to contain myself.

He kept going until his body tensed up, his head falling to my shoulder, spilling inside me with a loud moan. He collapsed on top of me, breathing heavily in my ear.

I ran my fingers through his hair, kissing the side of his head. He kissed me lightly before he rolled off, laying on his back, still panting as he grabbed hold of me.

I let my head rest on his chest, my left hand resting beside it. I looked at my ring, his hand taking mine, twisting the ring on my finger.

  ‘You like it?’ he asked.

‘I love it. Are you happy?’

He nodded. ‘I was happy when I bought the ring. It was hard, going through your jewellery box and finding a ring you wore on that finger so I could get it sized.’

‘I guess there was no way of doing that without me knowing,’ I said.

‘No,’ he said. ‘So, it was a good guess. It fits perfectly.’

‘Lucky me,’ I said. ‘No need to send it in and be without it for a few weeks.’

‘I’m sure you would have gone crazy,’ he said with a smirk.

‘Probably,’ I said. ‘I’d hate to have the ring just to give it back.’

‘You’d get it back,’ he said.

  ‘I know, but still.’

‘We’ll go shopping tomorrow, get you a tea gown for Sunday brunch,’ he said with a sigh.

  ‘Oh fun,’ I said sarcastically.

‘It’ll smooth things over with Anita,’ he said. ‘The more we go to the club, the more we get on her good side.’

  ‘I guess,’ I said.

‘Now,’ he said, turning me over and pinning my arms down. ‘What shall I do with you?’

‘I don’t know, but I think you have an idea,’ I said.

He leaned into me, his hand coming up and resting on my face. It was passionate and slow, making my toes tingle and my thighs start to pound. Everything in me caught on fire with that kiss, my arms wrapping around him as not to let go.
