He drops his head, his face red with embarrassment. “Dad.” He laughs.
“About time you told them!” Tiana comes into the room. “I figured it out a long time ago.” She walks to a closet door and peers inside. “I was like, every day, you coming out? No? Okay. Took long enough, bro.” She smiles and walks over to him, bends down, and hugs him. “Love you.”
I did a good fucking job raising these kids. I feel someone beside me, and I look over to see Shaylin staring at them both with tears in her eyes.
“We did good.”
“We did, My Shay.” I kiss her on the lips.
This may be the end of our story, but it isn’t for our kids.
They will find their own crazy.
