I could hear footsteps approaching so I lifted my eyes to see who would be the next person to enter the tent where I was being held captive. I felt my eyes heat up with frustration and anger at what was happening to Logan and me. I felt so brave after my encounter with the first guy, but a shiver of trepidation ran through my body as the flap to the tent opened. My plan was to be brave; that was until my eyes landed on the scariest man I had ever seen step through the entrance of the tent. He wasted no time as he stalked towards me, and I saw in his eyes everything I feared they were going to do to me. It closed in around me, blackening the corners of my vision, making me cower at his presence. My heart thundered in my chest as my breath raced in and out of my body. My eyes never broke contact with his for fear he would pounce the minute I looked away.
His different colored eyes traced over every inch of my exposed skin. The blue one was as cold and lifeless as arctic waters, while the red one was hard and terrifying. I let my eyes wander over his face as he continued his perusal of me. The face of the monster before me held a dark tan and looked leathery to the touch. A large, angry scar ripped through his red, glass eye from his hairline to his cheek.
He kept moving until he was close enough to touch me. I inhaled sharply as he traced his index finger from my shoulder following the line of my pink, lacy bra over my cleavage, dipping into the space between my breasts. My breathing was erratic as I tried to maintain control of the uncontrollable - HIM.
“So young, baby girl,” he spoke in a gentle voice, belying his true intention. “And so different from your sister; the vanilla to her chocolate.” He circled me like the predator I knew him to be, stopping directly behind me. I felt his nose in my hair and he inhaled deeply before tracing the outline of my matching panties along my hips. I heard him crotch down as he traced my pink thong along the top of my right butt cheek. His second hand pawed my other cheek as he continued to run his fingers back and forth. I gasped as I felt his tongue trace where his fingers had been moments before. He then blew where he licked; sending goose bumps all over my body in response. “So sweet,” he murmured. I tried pulling away but the handcuffs bit into my wrists causing me to whimper.
“Where are you going baby girl?” He asked as he walked back around to stand where he was before. “The night is just getting started.”
Fuck you! The anger I felt earlier came roaring back. It all happened so fast, I pulled my legs up letting my body hang from the cuffs as I shot my legs out kicking him square in the chest, sending him stumbling back. He was just far enough away from me that I had enough power to push him further away, but not enough to do any damage. He caught himself, half bent over as he caught his breath. That was when I heard the most terrifyingly wicked laugh I had ever heard.
Fear coursed through my body as he stood to his full height. The laughter abruptly stopped as he charged me, grabbing my bra and ripping it in half. I cried out as he squeezed both breasts, rolling them in his hands. “You like it rough baby girl?” He asked as he licked one of my nipples before biting down. I screamed as I tried to kick him away, struggling against the cuffs. The wicked laughter returned as he pinned my body to the pole. “So spirited for someone so young,” he crooned as he licked, sucked and bit my neck. “I would love breaking you in baby girl.” I never stopped trying to get away from him as he continued his assault on my neck, ear, and shoulder. The more I struggled the harder his cock grew against me. I immediately froze when I realized I was encouraging his erection.
“Oh, baby girl doesn’t want to play anymore,” he mocked as he grabbed my face holding it in place as he licked across my bottom lip. I pulled it in between my teeth to get it away from him. “That really is a shame for me and most definitely you, because I was just getting started.” He grinded his hips into mine proving his point. I bit down on my bottom lip to stop the scream that wanted to escape as much as I did. No weakness. Not in front of him. BE BRAVE! My mind howled at me.
He tugged my bottom lip from under my teeth with his index finger, and then he ran it past my chin, between my breasts, stopping at the top of my underwear. “Will I find you as tight and perfect as your sister?” He paused, running his finger back and forth across my stomach. “Should I find out or leave that to the lucky brother that will get first dibs on you tonight if my club gets you.” The sob finally escaped. “Oh, don’t worry baby girl,” he vowed as he turned his back to me walking away, “I completely and utterly plan on getting your sister. She is MINE.”
The silence that followed his departure was screaming in its finality. Him, his club, the other club. It did not matter. Someone was “getting me” tonight and I knew that once I was gotten nothing would ever be the same. A sob escaped unchecked from deep within me.
I am so fucking stupid. Why the fuck did I open that door and let that bulldozer of a man into the house? I should have known better than to answer it no matter what lies he was spewing. Logan in the fucking hospital? How stupid could I be? Tank would have been there or Colt would have called. I knew better and my gut told me to run and hide but I went against everything I was taught and opened that damn door.
And now? I’m fucked! Literally!

“Your turn,” Logan said as she closed the door to the Beetle.
“No it’s not,” I responded. “I picked last time when we left East Shitville and moved here to West Bumfuck.”
“West Branberry,” Logan corrected.
“Yeah, West BranFuck,
 I sarcastically pointed out.
“Language,” reminded Logan as she pushed the map at me. “Just do it already. I know it’s your favorite thing to do when we move on.”
“Is that what we are doing . . .” I paused, “moving on?”
“What do you mean?” Logan would not look at me as she pulled her hair into a ponytail. Her fidgeting was a clear sign that she was either going to skirt the question or not really answer it.
“No more moving, leaving, hell, running from the fucking invisible boogeyman?”
“Cam,” she said, finally looking at me. “I promise that I will do everything in my power to make the next place YOU PICK,” she emphasized the last two words, “as much as a home as I can. No more moving, leaving, or running. Just us. Dad . . .”
“Baxter,” I amended.
“Fine, Baxter said that as long as we laid low we should be good. He was going to clear up any misunderstandings and come get us when it was safe.”
Was Logan always this naive? “And how will he find us Logan?” Baxter Reed had no intention of ever coming for us. I hoped she knew that, because I sure as hell did.
She looked at me with a “duh” expression on her face. “He told me that he wants us to go by Logan and Campbell Jones so that he can look us up when everything is okay.”
“Define okay,” I grumbled as she snorted and shook her head at me.
“Just pick,” she whined, poking my side which earned her a shout and then a giggle from me.
“Fine slave driver,” I said as I opened up the map. I laid it across my lap looking over all the southern states.
“Stop peeking,” Logan demanded as she started the car.
“Ok, ok.” I looked up at the car ceiling as I lifted my right hand in the air and twirled my index finger. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “Here’s goes nothing,” I exclaimed as I “poked” the map. My eyes opened as I turned my head and looked at Logan.
“So where we headed baby sis?” She smirked, knowing I hated to be called baby anything. It was something Baxter did so often I wondered if he even knew my name.
“Har har har,” I teased back. A thread of excitement raced through me as Logan bounced up and down in her seat. I examined the map slowly lifting my finger. “Watch out Camden City, here we come.”
“Amen Cam, amen.” Logan put the car into drive. “Right or left?” she asked as she came to a stop at the gas station exit.
“First music, then directions,” I said as I combed through my list of songs on my MP3 and found the one I was looking for. The sultry voice of Nina Simone came through the speakers, as I sang along.
“Birds flying high you know how I feel. Sun in the sky you know how I feel. Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel. It's a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life. For me. And I'm feeling good.”
The trumpet blared and then the piano sounded right as Logan said, “Feeling Good. What a good selection Cam.” We continued to belt out the rest of the lyrics. Both of us pretended that we were Nina Simone. It’s a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life. For me. And I’m feeling good.
I took a cleansing breath and I let the song wash over me. The weight of the last few hours melted away as we drove west to Camden City. A small town right over the state line that would hopefully become our new home. A home, something we had not had in a while.
“Feeling good?” Logan smirked as the song ended. She could be such a dork.
“Much better,” I replied.
“When we get to town we will go straight to a real estate company and see what rentals are available,” she said as she looked between the road and me.
“Seriously?” I questioned.
“Yeah,” she paused. “I think so. Let’s really make a go at this town. No more staying at motels that rent by the hour.
“Ok.” That same thread of excitement turned into a current that coursed along my skin. “I can’t wait.”
After stopping at the first real estate office we came across and then McDonalds, Logan led us down Camden City’s main street and across old railroad tracks before entering a little neighborhood that had cookie cutter duplexes for several blocks in every direction you looked.
“Pull over,” I hollered as I slid the cassette that allowed us to listen to my MP3 into the car’s tape player.
“Oh Cam,” Logan exhaled, putting her hand to her chest. “You scared the shit out of me.”
“Oh relax Drama Queen,” I teased, scanning my player for the right song. “Found it,” I uttered as clapping filled the car and “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons came on.
Logan and I both danced in our seats and then sang my favorite part at the top of our lungs.
“Cause I’m on top of the world, ‘ay. I’m on top of the world, ‘ay. Waiting on this for a while now. Paying my dues to the dirt. I’ve been waiting to smile, ‘ay. Been holding it in for a while, ‘ay. Take you with me if I can. Been dreaming of this since a child. I’m on top of the world.”
It became a contest as Logan got louder and I followed with each word until we were screaming and singing and laughing.
We got back on the road and immediately turned down a quiet street, pulling into the duplex’s driveway. As Logan threw the car into park, I jumped out and let the lyrics follow me up the driveway. I could still hear Logan singing and that brought a smile to my face. So this was what hope felt like and I loved it. When the song ended Logan turned the car off and joined me by the front door.
“When was the last time we actually had an address that did not have a room number attached?” I asked as Logan put the key in the lock.
“When we lived in that awful trailer.” She laughed and I joined in.
“That’s right,” I agreed. “That place was awful.”
“Yeah.” Her voice trailed off as she walked through the front door and took in her surroundings. “Thank God,” she mumbled as I followed her in.
“It’s actually really nice,” I commented as Logan disappeared down the hall.
“A real kitchen,” she called out.
“Wow,” I murmured as I watched her dart up the stairs. I looked around taking in the brown couch, Lazy Boy, and TV. The pictures behind the couch were of generic beach scenes. One had to be a sunset at the beach, while the other looked to be at a lake or river. I walked around the coffee table and down the hallway. The kitchen was small but functional with a table in the corner and three chairs around it.
“What do you think?” I jumped from Logan’s words not realizing she had come back downstairs.
“Geesh, you gave me a heart attack,” I shrieked, earning me another laugh from Logan.
“Now who is the Drama Queen?”
“Still you,” I joked as I squeezed past her and went back to the living room.
“Ha ha ha,” said Logan. “Why don’t you go upstairs and pick a bedroom?” A wicked smile spread across my lips which Logan caught as I raced upstairs.
“I want the biggest one,” I hollered down the steps. The second floor had two bedrooms next to each other and a bathroom at the end of the hall. I walked into the first one and it immediately made me think of Logan. It was nautical themed with a navy blue comforter and matching pillows. It even had two throw pillows with anchors on them. Not really my style but one hundred percent Logan.
“I’ll take the second bedroom,” I yelled down the steps before I walked down the hallway and into the second bedroom. It was fucking perfect and my favorite color. The walls were a light green color and the comforter, no it was a quilt, was a patchwork pattern with different color greens running throughout it. It had a small walk-in closet and matching dark wood furniture.
“Perfect, right?” Logan asked. I turned to find her leaning against the door frame. I nodded in agreement. “Help me clean out the car?” I nodded again. “You okay?”
I smiled genuinely at my sister letting her know her concern was unwarranted. “I am actually better than fine,” I said and for the fi
rst time in a long time I meant it.
Tank
“I’m fine,” I said for the hundredth fucking time. You are what you eat. I swore that statement was true because Colton was becoming a pussy. I knew he was just checking in with me but damn. Just because I did not want my dick sucked by some Hellhounds sweet butt did not mean something was wrong. Yeah the nightmares were back but who the fuck cared; I had been living with them most of my life. Pussy was not going to make that shit go away. I mean Jesus, look at Colton with his head buzzed to his fucking scalp because he could not keep it in his pants.
“I know, but when was the last time you got laid motherfucker?” Colton asked as he topped off his gas tank. He was like a dog with a damn bone.
“Why the fuck do you care?”
“Someone hasn’t been laid in a while,” hollered Trigger. “That is fucking rough. Just yesterday I was dick deep in sweet butt.”
“Nobody cares Trigger,” Knox groaned.
“Jesus H Christ. Enough already. I got some last week.”
“You mean that blow job in the middle of the clubhouse last weekend?” Colton wondered as he mounted his bike.
“You guys are worse than women gossiping all the fucking time,” I complained.
“Who’s gossiping?” asked Worm. “You did it in front of all the brothers in the middle of a fucking party.”
“Hey man, just trying to make sure your dick didn’t shrivel up, because those lips that were wrapped around you have been wrapped around everyone,” explained Colton.
“Oh, don’t talk about Wendy like that,” Knox teased.
“No Winny,” interrupted Worm.
“No,” argued Trigger. “You are both wrong, it’s Wanda.”
“What-the-fuck-ever,” I yelled, making all my brothers laugh their asses off.
“Let’s roll.” Colton effectively ended the conversation when he started his bike. Once his pipes were singing, all our bikes joined in as Colton pulled out of the gas station with me and Knox side-by-side, followed by Worm and Trigger.
