Strike Vector - An Aeon 14 Space Opera Adventure (Perilous Alliance Book 2)

It is suspected that Gedri once had more rocky inner planets, but that when it turned into an orange giant, it consumed them, and now only one remains, though several asteroid belts lie in the inner system. It is debated as to whether or not they were created in the star’s expansion, or by collisions from when Gedri captured the red dwarf star, Townsend.
Jericho – This planet, second in orbit of the red dwarf star, Townsend, was once terraformed and habitable, though its lack of a strong magnetic shield has caused it to lose much of its atmosphere as Townsend’s solar wind wore it away.
Jericho is near Earth-sized with a circumference of 32,524km, 0.93g, and a rotation of 26 hours. The mean temperature on Jericho is 26C, though its possesses is only 0.49atm.
Deep valleys on Jericho still possess a dense enough atmosphere for humans to survive without breathing assistance, and several large liquid water seas and lakes exist on its surface.
Large cities once existed on Jericho’s surface, and many are still occupied today, though they are under domes. The capital city of Montral also has a space elevator which reaches up to Laerdo Station.
Jericho is where the GFF holds the most power, even though the capital world of the Gedri system is the planet of Freemont.
Perseverance – This large, but cold, dwarf planet out in the fringes of the Gedri system is under heavy mining by GFF owned firms. Nearly all of the supply companies, and other service businesses are owned by fronts belonging to Maverick’s syndicate.
Silstrand (HR-5279 / HD 122862) – The seat of the Silstrand Alliance government and the center of the Alliance’s trade and commerce, the Silstrand System boasts three terraformed worlds, one with a ring and space elevators.
Silstrand Alliance – The Silstrand Alliance is a collection of worlds located roughly 90 light-years from Sol, which have banded together under an elected representative parliamentary government. The alliance consists of 10 major star systems.
Townsend – A red dwarf star (spectral class MV) in the Gedri system, Townsend orbits the system’s primary star (Gedri) at a distance just over 30AU.
Townsend masses 0.338 sols, has a radius of 0.42 sols, and a luminosity of 0.0225 sols.
Thought the star exists within the Gedri system, it does not share the same elemental makeup as Gedri and is believed to have been captured by the primary star at some point in roughly three billion years ago.
Townsend has three planets in orbit of it, all captured from Gedri.
Nestra – A small, rocky planet only 8.9 million km from Townsend.
Jericho – A terrestrial world, 37 million km from Townsend.
Estace – A gas giant which orbits at a mean distance of 299 million km from townsend.
Trio – The fourth world from Trio Prime, the world is a terrestrial planet with a single space elevator which reaches Coburn Station. Though the world has a space elevator, the system is not well populated due to prior wars with the Scipio Federation.
Trio Prime (CP-67 2079 / HD 111232) – Trio lies on the core-ward edge of the Silstrand Alliance. It has one terraformed world known as Trio.
