  He let them know what they did, they turned them over to what appears to be a military base. Before they left, they did a complete scan of the planet. They destroyed a second facility like they did the first. They left the planet then resumed there exploration. The AI teleports back to their last known location, while the portals deployed.

  Meanwhile back on the bridge at the space station, Captain Hayze was taking notes from the Chief officer, he did the investigation on the odd power outage in the business district. During the event, a Holo Disc had failed. The enforcers removed it for further study and replaced it. Their findings were surges from the shield grid. It removed power when it was activated by a store owner. It shorted out, while the influx of power was restored at that point when it was activated.

  The captain filed the report, when the chief officer left. Captain returned to star gazing, when the Stations AI appeared next to him and watched along with him. She had changed her attire to an evening dress, that sparkled like her body. It was deep red, with a trail blue on the sides. It complimented her body while the design complimented her eyes. She put her arm over his shoulder and leaned her head against his; she watched the stars go by.

  They would occasionally talk, but what they wanted to say, would be precarious to say the least. With her arm around his shoulders like that, he felt like she liked him, and that he was on some kind of date. What did he know, as far as he knows… She's a virtual AI, but he also had to wage in the fact that he's seen so much in this short year. Nothing's what it seems, and when it came to the enforcers. They made things happen, that he would have never dreamed possible.

  Without him asking, the AI put in a request for an AU unit. Mona received the email. The AI was detailed on why, and presented her case with her observation and studies, of her short time she's been around him. Mona shared the information, and the problem the AI faced should it not work out. Mrs. Calhoun knew she only wanted children and Mona knew it. Mrs. Calhoun let Mona know what she thought, and Mona agreed. She went to Maverick's home and talked to both of them. She made an offer they both agreed to. They made the AU unit to what she had requested. She had the first officer take the bridge, while the captain was teleported to Mrs. Calhoun. They talked about it, the AI shared her feelings and made requests.

  Mrs. Calhoun said there are no divorces when it comes to an enforcer, and it applies to the AI's as well. He eventually agreed, she took the new AU Unit as her new body. She remained on the bridge with the captain, blurring the lines of man and machine. What he didn't know, the unit was part human and machine just like some of the enforcers. They messed around and he found out the hard way, he ended up with 15 children from his first encounter. It totally blew his mind.

  He was shocked and happy at the same time. The enforcers gave him new quarters on the habitat, where Mavericks home use to be. A large home with everything he would never have imagined of owning on his wages. All the amities were free. He obeyed the house rules and kept having to many kids, while she forced herself on him every chance she got. The enforcers expanded his home; his body was eventually changed by his wife's DNA. Some time had passed; he finally accepted the idea and tried to limit the children.

  After his fourth encounter, the DNA took hold and he changed. She finally had him give her a child for a change. His body did it naturally, he had no clue how it happened. His abilities formed over a few weeks, he enjoyed the notions of moving about the ship using his own teleport. He kept it to a minimum, trying to understand how this process worked. His companion bonded with him completely, he couldn't refuse her requests.

  Mrs. Calhoun forced him to train, which he was able to use them completely. He refused some orders, because he only wanted to be with his companion. Mrs. Calhoun informed him he was already married to her by accepting her. Mona talked to her wife in front of the captain. Mona played back the video of her wife's dream. While the captain watched. It was exactly like her dream played out. With him refusing and finding out, he was married. It also showed he did comply with the request, the AI insisted. Mrs. Calhoun told him, he couldn't refuse the head enforcers request, even after he changed.

  Back on board, a starship had returned, they were just beginning their docking procedures. The cadets were boarding the station for some rest and relaxation. Some were met by their girlfriends or wives. The data was relayed; the captain moved the station to the nearest planet that might be inhabitable. The scans begin, it was clear the atmosphere was more carbon than anything. Minerals of silicones and various metals were teleported to hanger 240 on deck 17. The captain went to each location, where there might be a suitable planet; only thing she got was ore for processing. On his last jump, they hit a rich silicon deposit. The ore was transported to hanger 240.

  The virtual personnel would process the ore, then package them for storage or send it to the science department to be used in portable power sources and experiments. The shields were hit by a power beam that created a magnificent light show. The 2nd one hit, the captain realized they were under attack. The alarms sounded 6 starships teleported within 800 meters of the station. They returned fire while they were being hit.

  Another alien ship came into range and began firing. The shields on one starship begins to buckle, they focused their fire on one ship. Mrs. Calhoun came out and got into the line of fire. Her shields turned bright red while plasma formed a small shield, while they continued to fire. Her shields absorbed 90% of the fire. Mona watched the data, she changed the station's harmonics and used the strand shields. They fired, it passed through without any damage.

  The shields harmonics changed again and used the energy, and bounced it back. Mrs. Calhoun seen the effect and changed her armor. She combined her plasma shields with it and her shields expanded 23,829 meters out when they fired. Her daughter went into their shields, and began draining their power. One of the ships fired on her, she wasn't phased. She started ripping the hull off their ships, venting their air.

  Mrs. Calhoun did what she had to. She darted directly at the ships while they turned tail and fled. The AI had detected humans on the crippled ship, they were teleported to hanger 240.. Mrs. Calhoun used her discs and fired at the crippled ship, destroying it. The enforcers searched the wreckage for memory or computers to download any information. The destruction was extensive, they couldn't salvage any part of the ship. They used their shields to fling the space debris into the sun.

  Mrs. Calhoun examined the damage to the starship; she realized the emitters on the ship were not as powerful as she had hoped. All the enforcers modified the starships for combat and battle situations. They added more power cells for the ships and updated all the emitters. She beefed up the power output and increased the power flow, giving the emitters enough power so they wouldn't take any damage. Elasa came up with a strategy for the starships.

  She incorporated the harmonics of the enforcers and the shields that absorbs the energy. She also used the speed of the AI's processor's to control the stations discs; the AI would adjust the size of the discs that would be a few meters larger than the beams. The speed of the AI's processors moved the disc's to absorb all the energy, and use the shields for defensive purposes. It would work on a larger scale for the station's shields. She implemented the strategy. At least they wouldn't have to worry about the next attack.

  The Stations AI had a counter measure of her own. She had used the body molds her master made for the family. She made a full body form for herself that she could walk into. She would use her new body like a LAN and communicate directly, eliminating the network all together. Weeks went by while they continued to explore, they began another excavation of ore, and again.

  They were attacked by 5 ships this time, only to find themselves running faster than they had anticipated. Mrs. Calhoun was able to capture one of the vessels and went directly to their home world. They didn't find what they had expected, it was an asteroid field. Millions of miles long. Their world was totally destroyed.

  With the evidence
, there wasn't a way to see how it was destroyed. She was waiting word if any, of the other starship if they caught another one of them. They could be using any number of planets to stay, and attack their home. From all the data, they had gathered from the ship, this was the only place they had stayed for any length of time.

  Mona watched her wife be true to her motto. No retreat, no surrender. She destroyed the console and threw the ship into the sun. She used the station to drag them in, when their ship exploded way before it got to the coronus sphere of the sun. They stayed close to the sun, they wanted a ship to fire at them.

  Their beam disintegrated thousands of miles before it could reach them, Mrs. Calhoun seen a weakness in their technology. She put her plan to the test. They explored and ran across another deposit. They were ambushed. None of the starships engaged the attacking ships, the owner allowed them to get close. Real close, she activated the ships shields. It sent an immense burst of intense heat hotter than the sun when the shields expanded three times the station's size. It enveloped all the ships, frying all their equipment onboard. They were dead in space, All their hatches an escape pods were melted into place.

  She used the station's shields to extend around their ships, and entered the sun. The crew on board watched, knowing their ships would not withstand the intense heat of the sun. Mrs. Calhoun went out to the main ship, and cut a hole into the hull. She entered the ship and found they spoke English. The captain came down to where she entered the ship. He held up a piece of metal and waved around a patch of white cloth.

  "I surrender." Mrs. Calhoun was shocked to hear English in another galaxy. The captain corrected her, she was 1/3 into the milky way galaxy. "Please. Follow me." He looked out the hole she had made, he felt no rush of air. He even stuck his head outside looking around the outside of his ship being surprised. He reached his cabin, he pulled out old star charts he had made along with countless generations of captains. The charts were made of a Titilum alloy used in old space ships, that went on long voyages. He showed her exactly where she was, she pinpointed the star she was in. She knew her location from Earth.

  They sat and talked about their voyage into deep space, she finds that they've lost their ship from aliens attacking them. They had destroyed the planet they had colonized. Only to learn their world had nearly 2 million people. She tells him where she's from. He's surprised that the government would or could build such a ship.

  She corrects him and told him how long it took. "I will except your surrender on one condition, your brightest, strongest, loyal and honest female to fight for you. She must fight for all she's worth to win at all costs. If she wins, she must be my personal property and the rules that goes with it. I will spare your lives." She uses station's gravity discs to turn the ship in the direction of station.

  "If she refuses, I will retract the shields. I am not human like you. I was defending my home, you attacked us." Mrs. Calhoun has the children put up a large disc with each of the remaining ships. She walked the captain came outside, she walks on to the disc. The captain was very cautious leaving the ship. "If I retracted the shields, you would not survive a second. It is totally safe out here. He steps outside and feels the disc is solid enough to step on. He's puzzled on how they did it. Her children start ripping the hull off the ships, exposing everyone inside. They force them all out on to the disc. Everyone had been removed from ships. "You’re the captain, it is their choice." Said Mrs. Calhoun. They were standing outside the ships, they looked at the shields.

  They could see the sun being held back by the shields. Then they see it. The massive space station they were attacking. Many were gathered on the quarts deck where they could see everyone. They even seen they were human like they were. The captain realizes what he sees. He comes down and joins them. "They should be added to the stations head count. They are human." Said Captain Hayze. "That leaves the attack against our home, and he says he surrenders. He must choose or they will meet their fate with their captain." Said Mrs. Calhoun. "It is the procreation act that you uphold, your law. They are to be added to the survivors.” Said Captain Hayze. "True, but he is their captain. He is strong willed, they pose a threat to the security of our home.

  Another word, and I'll retract the shields around them now. I am responsible for the safety of all on board, he is as well. He must choose his best." She said. They all listen. A little girl tried to come forward. One of the men tries to hold her while he puts his hand over her mouth. She bites his finger hard and he lets go. She manages to move out into the open. Mrs. Calhoun uses her gravity disc and hits him, knocking him down with three others. "Hi there..." She gets on her knee and puts her on her knee. "Who might you be. I'm Mrs. Calhoun. What's your name." She tickles her while she talks. "I'm Angela." She said. "Where's your mommy?" She asked. "The aliens killed her." She looks around and realizes, she's the only girl on board.

  "How would you like to play with kids your own age?" The little girl nods her head, a brilliant smile appeared out of no where. "Captain, if you agree to surrender, she wins. I will spare your crew. You will have homes to live in; we have stores and restaurants you can go to. If you have other survivors. We would bring them on board, they will have the same rights and privileges as any other civilians. She is to young to fight for you. What do you say? We are the caretakers, this is our home." "All in favor of living on this station, under their rule? Or take your chances out here with us?" the captain looked around seeing them watching him. They were in favor, the captain agreed to the terms. Seeing the conditions their ships were in. They gave the locations of the survivors.

  All the information was salvaged from the ships, along with their belongings. The ships AI integrate them into the population. The captain takes to the science labs while the children begin school. Each of the parents was given homes and vehicles. The station lets their ships go. She makes a starship for them. Each one was trained to use them with their functions. The station continues on exploring the region of space for a new home. They begin deploying more portals and resumes their mission. With the new information and civilians, now they know at least where they are.

  "You should have gone easy on them. They knew earth could have never made such a ship. We've been attacked as well; it's not an easy place out here.” Said Captain Hayze. "I know, I have to do what's best for everyone, it's hard following the procreation act. And having them out here, the way they were. I must follow the rules. I will be bringing up the captains of each ship, and offer them some options that will keep them productive, and see how they work out. I am not perfect, but I must protect what we have." She was thinking of her own race, with all they've been through. Running away from the contamination and the aliens that tried to take what they had and failed miserably. She knew that the laws were without resolution, with her wife and children. She's made compromises alone the way. "Are you up to it captain?"

  The AI teleported each captain up to the captains briefing room. They all take their seats. 5 captains in all. "I have called this meeting to see if you would like a ship to command. Not for battle or savaging, but for exploring and defending our home?" "You destroyed one of our ships." Commander Striker said. "We destroyed attacking vessels. We saved everyone on board. They were teleported to hanger 240 where they were taken care of. Our AI saved them, she detected that they were human, then teleported them just when we destroyed the ship. Saving as many humans is our priority." Said Mrs. Calhoun. The AI teleported the captain of that ship to the room. They seen what they needed to know, she was telling the truth. "In that case. We would like to command on our terms." Striker said.

  "We must maintain the control of all our ships, you will abide by our rules when operating our ships. Or you can be civilians. There are no negotiations. We must maintain a reputation with these aliens, in any part of our galaxy. We're offering you something that we've taken from you. But with much more advanced ships with weapons and armor." "They've attacked us every chance they got, they even captured several of our cargo shi
ps." He was interrupted when she hears captured. "Do you know what planet they were taken to?" She opens a star chart of the area they are in. He points out the planet, she motion everyone to follow her. The ship goes into jump drive and appears above a large planet. The air was breathable but vary thin. The ships sensors scan for humans.

  They detected 1,538,128 humans on the surface. Not many were healthy. The AI starts teleporting them to the ships hospital, they were being met with satellites that were equipped with weapons. The AI starts destroying them when they appear. Hours goes by while they continue to target the humans and teleports them to the station. A large vessel armed to the teeth opened fire while the AI compensated with the new modifications. They shields absorbed everything that was being throwing at them. The ship headed right for their shields. The AI changed the pattern and it turned red. The ship fired, the small shields kept absorbing the energy while the ship headed right for them. The captains from the smaller ships who were rescued, were trying to convince them to run before they hit them.

  She stayed in place while teleporting them aboard individually. She watched, it starting to hit the shields. The ship started disintegrating on impact, they were extremely impressed. He watched the explosions, the ship lost power and continued to disappear hitting the shields. The last of the humans were teleported to the hospital. She scanned the planet to see if it was habitable. The scans came back, the planet was mined out. It was unstable because of all the mining. She sent a shock wave at the planet that made it implode. Mrs. Calhoun spotted a large crystal and teleported it aboard. It was about 26 feet in length.

  She turns to face the captains of the rescued ships. "With power, there comes great responsibly. You represent us when you are the captain of our ships. We have software that we can communicate with the aliens. We also downloaded their databases so we can understand them. We made a few alliances with some aliens. They are not all bad. With the shielding that is based on me, theirs not to much that we have to worry about. Just being attacked, that's all. But my offer stands, if you want to command as captain, just ask. I will put you into the classes so you can understand what these starships can do. They are far more powerful than your ships."
