Surrender in Moonlight

He grinned, and as they stopped at the next light, he leaned over and kissed her, turning on the little vibrator. “So you think you got enough to last the month?”
She squirmed a little, licking her lips. “I think it’ll do.”
“Good. I want you to know, I had fun today, too. You’re a lot of fun to hang out with.” He switched off the device and started driving again.

They sat at the bar, sipping wine and flirting. More and more, she found herself enjoying his company. He was funny and charming in his own sort of way. His voice sent shivers through her almost as surely as the butterfly that he had attached to her. She had been more than ready for him before the sex shop. What she felt now was a craving far beyond anything she’d ever experienced. She was sensitive to every touch. Even the feel of her bare legs against each other was enough of a boost. Everything was setting her off, and she loved it. She smiled at him, lust dark in her eyes.
“So, how long ‘til I get to feel you sink deep into me? Want to just slip into the restroom and into me for a little while?” she begged, only half teasing. She needed to come, but every time she got close he turned off the butterfly. If it was much longer, she’d have to give up and work herself right there in front of him
He grinned. “No, I told you, Pet, endure ‘til we get home.”
She whimpered and pouted, sucking on her straw. “Not fair.”
“Oh very fair, Pet. I’m enjoying this more than you know. Tell me, Pet, how do you feel?” He moved in closer to her and trailed his fingertips down her cheek, the barest of touches.
His touch affected her whole body, and she moaned inaudibly. “I feel…like I’m on fire. I would give anything, do anything, to have you sink into me right here. I need you inside of me.” She quivered, closing her eyes as she felt them shift to snake. When she spoke next her voice was deep with lust, and her eyes were still closed. “Please, Master.” Her breath caught in her throat as the very word itself nearly sent her over the edge. “I’m so wet.”
“Dirty slut,” he whispered. “Think ‘cause you’re pent up I’ll fuck you right here? I’m a wild guy, but we are not getting thrown out of here. So you have a choice, Pet, dinner, some pleasant conversation, and a bit more of this…” He switched the vibrator on, and waited a minute as she shivered. “Or we can leave, get a hotel room at the Plaza, and fuck for a couple hours. It’s your choice, Pet, and the only one I’m giving you tonight.” His eyes held a dark promise in them, and he licked his lips. “Choose wisely, Pet.”
She worried on her lip, trying to decide. She was enjoying herself too much, but she really needed him. “I think I can hold on long enough for dinner.” She licked her lips.
“That’s my girl. Come on. It looks like our table is ready.” He switched off the butterfly and smiled. “And the offer for the Plaza is still on the table. I don’t think I could drive back, unless of course you have an idea.” He winked and guided her to their table. “I can’t wait to taste you again later, Pet.”
She smiled and licked at her lips. “Oh, I have a lot of ideas, baby, but we don’t have to drive back home to carry them out.” They stood there and she linked her arm in his before her words even registered with her. Home? She’d called it her home. The word was as foreign to her as so many others she’d never used before, and she wasn’t about to start with a place she’d only been in one night.
He kissed her cheek and unlinked them, sitting across from her and smiled. He ordered them the salad course—neither felt like soup—and the entrees then looked at her again. “I hope you like salmon and asparagus. It’s fantastic here.”
She grinned. “I love salmon.” She looked around her, taking in the beautiful place he’d taken her to. They were surrounded by glass, the trees on the outside lit up beautifully. It was truly magical. She’d never been anywhere so perfect.
He caught her look. “Do you like this place? We had Elise’s birthday here last year. I haven’t had a reason to come back since, so thanks.”
“Yeah, it’s beautiful.”
“It is. I’m told my parents were married here, though I’m not sure if that’s true.”
“Yeah? It would be a nice place for a wedding. Did you know them at all?” she asked, not needing to know if they were dead. Their kind always died young and rarely knew their children.
“Remy and I share more than genetics. He was seventeen, I was seven, and they were all picked off.” He shrugged and moved back as the waiter brought the salad course and a new bottle of white chardonnay.
She sat silently as he poured her glass. The wine was lovely, perfectly chilled against her tongue. She pushed around the salad thoughtfully before popping a crisp piece in her mouth and chewing, the dressing was amazing. “It’s how we’ll all end up anyway.”
“No, it’s not. It’s why we have the compound. We were sent there after the accident.” He spat out the word with thick distaste. “The place is a sanctuary. The children there are the first to be born on the east coast to parents who are still alive in over forty-five years, Pet. So we all don’t grow up alone.” He was quiet then looked at her. “Yours? Parents, I mean?”
She shrugged. “Not sure. They must have died while I was very young. I don’t remember them at all. My brother was, like, fourteen years older than me. He looked out for me ‘til he could help me change.”
“That’s a very good thing. Where is he now?”
She looked him in the eye and smiled bitterly. “He killed himself not long after. He just didn’t have what it takes. It happens.” She picked up another piece of salad and chewed on it, keeping her thoughts steadily off her brother.
“I’m sorry about that.” He smiled at her as their entrees were brought, the delicious aroma of salmon broiled in butter and basil enveloping them.
“Like I said, it happens.”
“Shall we make a toast, then? To those we lost and will see once again in Summerland.” He raised his glass of chardonnay and smiled at her.
She raised her glass. “Summerland. Nice way of saying dead.”
He laughed. “You really do delight me.” He hit the button on the remote and smirked. “Try eating now.” He winked and gave his attention to his plate, getting a piece of the fish and eating it. Finally, he looked at her, mischief in his eyes.
He set her body on fire, and it took all her willpower not to cry out. She slipped a small piece of salmon into her mouth, her body trembling. “Oh, you are naughty.”
“Don’t scream, Pet.”
She smiled, licking her lips. “It’ll be hard.”
“Obedience is always rewarded, Pet.”
“Um, I don’t doubt it.”
“Finish your dinner, Pet. I’m not turning it off ‘til you come.”
“Um, perfect,” she purred, her hands clutching at the table.
“Come big for me, baby. I know you want to, and I know you want me there instead of the little butterfly, and I will soon, Pet. I’ll be balls deep in that sweet pussy of yours, and all you’re going to be able to do is scream.”
“Um…oh fuck!” she whispered harshly as her body released violently, bucking in her seat.
He smiled. “Careful, Pet. Don’t let those eyes give the game away.”
She closed her eyes as they shifted, her nails clawing under the table. “Oh fuck…”
“God, you’re sexy,” he whispered as he drained his wine.
She panted hard and gulped at her own wine. “You’re not so bad yourself.”
“Oh?”
“Yep, you’re pretty sexy yourself.”
He grinned and winked. “I don’t know about you, but I think we can skip dessert. What next, Pet?”
“We can go?” She grinned. “You promised to be balls deep in me soon, baby.” She pouted.
“Well, I never break a promise.”
She giggled excitedly. “Let’s go.”

Reece had Carmen up to the penthouse suite and undressed n
ot fifteen minutes after they left the restaurant, kissing and licking at her neck and skin, growling, his eyes completely turned to snake. He bit at the top of her breast, worrying the skin between his teeth as his hands roamed her body, gently slipping the toy from her wet pussy and slipping his fingers over the slick flesh. She sobbed, and he grinned.
“Your body is fantastic and such a good girl.” He sat her up from her prone position and slinked down, replacing his fingers with his mouth and tongue, enjoying her taste. He groaned as he licked and sucked at her swollen flesh, hearing her cries of pleasure.
He pulled away and stood, smirking down at her. “It won’t do for you to be naked and me not.”
She shook her head. “It kinda defeats the purpose of me being naked, now doesn’t it?”
“So? What are you waiting for then?” He undid his belt and pulled it through his pant loops, dropping it to the floor.
She went to him, kissing and biting at his neck as her small hands unbuttoned his pants. Her fingers slipped in and palmed him gently. “Um, you are such a big boy.”
He smirked. “Anacondas usually are, Pet.” He hissed as she squeezed him and leaned over, pressing himself against her palm even more.
She tightened her hand around him. She licked her lips. “You’re my first, so I wouldn’t know.”
Yeah, first and only. The thought came unbidden to the forefront of his psyche, and it disturbed him. He liked her, loved fucking her, but mentally claiming her? What the fuck was that about. He shook off the confusing feeling and got back to what was important—what she was doing now that she was on her knees in front of him. He smirked down. “I like the sound of that, Pet. Get to sucking.”
“You do?” She breathed hotly onto him, her tongue snaking out to lick along his tip.
“Don’t tease, or you won’t get your fucking, Pet.”
Groaning, she slowly slipped him down along her tongue and into her mouth. Placing her hands on his thighs, she pulled him in further. The soft noise of sucking filled the air.
He hissed and threw back his head, revelling in the sensations she gave him. Such a good girl. She sucks cock so fucking well. He balled his hands in her hair and tugged, his hips moving as he fucked her mouth. “That’s it, baby… I know you can take me deeper. Show me you can take it all.”
She moved higher, allowing him in deeper until her mouth was at the very base of him. Her heated gaze lifted to his, and she moaned down on him, swallowing.
This was why he loved Snake girls. Not only were they limber as hell, but they could unhinge their jaws and give new meaning to the words deep throat. She was fantastic. Her little moans and whimpers of pleasure made him want her even more. He pulled himself out of her mouth and sank to his knees in front of her, quickly flipping her over. Carmen was now on her knees and trembling. He didn’t speak, just plunged into her waiting heat, nothing but instinct driving him. He was brutal and wild, and she met him stroke for stroke, moaning his name. He leaned in. “I love fucking you, baby. So welcoming, so fucking wet for me. I fucking love it.”
Reece didn’t know what was happening to him. His body moved on its own, and the need to mark her screamed through him. Fuck it… She’s mine, at least now, she is.
He struck, his mouth clamping down where her shoulder and neck met, biting hard.
“Fuck, Reece!” she cried out, coming tightly around him.
He followed her over, still holding on to her, his body spilling into her. It was only after she stopped contracting around his cock that he let go of her skin and wiped his mouth of her blood, his tongue coated in it. He panted and slid out of her, pulling her close to him. They didn’t talk, just breathed. What he’d just done was the first step, and he knew it. But as the name said, it was only the first. He wouldn’t do the second or third, and he’d make sure of it. But damn, she’d felt good after he had, her body coming hard for him.
He kissed her neck just above his mark and felt her drift off. Minutes later, he followed her into oblivion.
Chapter Six
The bite stung a little as the hot water ran over it. It had been three days since he’d bitten her, and still, she had no idea what to think. She was sure it had been by accident. He wouldn’t have marked her on purpose. Reece just wasn’t that type of guy. He’d be a bachelor until nature or the nest Archon forced him otherwise. Despite his attitude and mannerisms, they’d become friends—at least, she liked to think they were.
She was beginning to see his point about life in the nest. It was safe, far safer than anywhere she’d ever grown up. It had been nice to spend time with other people, if not better that they all shared a species. There was nothing to hide amongst her own kind, although she still had neglected to tell him of her exact species. He would never have to know, and he had never asked.
She probed gently at the bite. It would be another week or so before it healed completely. True mating bites usually didn’t. It was only the first bite, and his claim to her would fade with the wound. She sighed sadly. The idea of being mated didn’t terrify her as much as it would have a week ago. Not that she would ever mate to him. Reece just wasn’t the type, but maybe another male, from another nest. It wouldn’t be too hard for her to petition herself into one of the smaller nests. Granted, she was a viper, but their prejudices would be put aside as long as they knew she was looking for a mate.
Loneliness was nothing she’d ever felt, maybe because she’d never spent so much time with anyone. She rubbed at her face, then turned off the water. This was all getting too complicated. What had started off as a month’s vacation from the bump and grind of daily life had really started to mess with her views on the world. The thing that worried her was she’d only been with him less than a week, and she was seriously considering hanging up her spurs for that collar he’d spoken about when she’d gotten there, even if he said he wouldn’t do it. The man was exactly the kind of snake she saw herself ending up with. Sighing heavily, she pushed her thoughts aside and stepped out of the shower then dried off.
She still hadn’t changed. Her body was showing obvious signs of needing to shift. Her skin was dry, no matter how much moisturiser she lathered on. It always happened like this. She should have went days ago, but she’d been far too busy with Reece, and it had never come up. Her control wasn’t as good as most, and she knew her body would force it on her soon enough. She had no idea how Chrissy could go that long without the change and still be sane. She admired the other snake, despite the good-natured ribbing they’d been tossing back and forth since their first meeting in the kitchen.
Wrapping a dressing gown around herself, she padded down the stairs in search of Reece. He’d have to know where she was, just in case he thought she’d run off with his bike again. The house was strangely free of his scent as was the garage. She thought he’d popped into town until she heard splashes coming from the pool area. She followed the sound of water to find him swimming laps in the pool. The way the water parted for his strong body made her smile warmly.
She grinned down at him. “I’d beat you in a race, but I’m just out the shower.”
He looked up at her and came to the side of the pool. “Remind me of that boast another day, Pet. I should like to see you do that.”
She sat on the edge of the pool, dipping in her feet. “Oh, I will. I love to swim.”
“That makes two of us, Pet. You should see me changed. I gravitate to the lagoon pool on the property.”
“Lagoon pool? Sounds perfect… Speaking of changing, I really have to go before my body decides to go without me.”
He nodded. “Then be my guest, Pet. You won’t find any opposition here. There’s about fifty acres of backyard to roam in, completely safe. Take as much time as you need. I’m sure it’s been a while if you’re that needy.” He levered himself up and out of the pool, the water rolling down his near hairless skin. “Go change then, Pet. I’ll go shower. You enjoy yourself.” He winked and moved closer to her, kissing her sweetly on the lips.
You smell delicious.”
His lips were soft against hers as she kissed him again. “You smell of chlorine.” She wrinkled her nose, laughing.
“Hence, why I need the shower. Have fun, Pet. Remy and Chrissy are out for the night, so don’t worry about being disturbed.”
“Thanks.” She smiled, scratching at herself. It would all feel so much better in a moment. “I’ll try to be back as soon as I can.”
“Take your time. I don’t like being rushed when I change, and I don’t rush anyone.”
She smiled and kissed him on the cheek before turning and heading out to begin her change. She dropped her robe on a chair and made her way out to the edge of the trees. Changing had never come very easy to her. The thought of turning into a snake at times frightened her, though she would never admit it. Her arms and legs went lord knew where. It was a little unsettling to say the least.
Over the years, she’d learned not to fear it. The worst that could happen was that she’d get caught and trapped, killed eventually. But none of that could happen here, so the old fears could be put aside. Her snake self was too quick to be caught anyway. As a viper, she was quicker than the pythons or the anacondas. She was smaller, too, which was why she was so little in real life.
She knelt on the ground and let the change take her over, working its way with her muscles and bones. It didn’t hurt, not really. There was a feeling of great release similar to having stitches removed. The itching stopped immediately, and she slithered along further into the woods, tasting the water on her tongue. She was a dark brown with lighter brown patches. Her body was ideal to hide amongst the dried leaves and sticks on the ground. She could use her powers easily in this form, sensing the body heat of the other inhabitants of the forest. Not all of them were prey. There were a few deer that she couldn’t hope to think about digesting. A few boars snuffled threateningly in front of her, and she hissed, her body curling in a striking pose. She spat a mouthful of venom at them, and they ran from her.
