The Writer
Pablo Capanna
Born in Florence (Italy) in 1939, he has resided in Argentina since the age of ten. His career has included a variety of posts as a university professor and journalist and he is currently a professor of philosphy. His works include El sentido de la ciencia ficción, the first essay on this topic written in Spanish, which has been republished a variety of times (1967-2007). He is also the author of La Tecnarquía (1973); Excursos. Grandes Relatos de ficción (1999); Andrei Tarkovski: el icono y la pantalla (2003); Idios Kosmos.
