Back on board the ship Captain Oliver Blakeshire noticed it was four o’clock and time for tea. “Hmm… Crenshaw, I wonder if the lucky newlyweds might be wantin’ a spot o’ tea about now?” he said suppressing a grin.
“But cap’n, sir. They just got hitched!” Crenshaw squawked in disbelief of the captain. “Right now, they’re mor'n likely...”
“Aye. Y’ quite right, sailor, quite right. I suppose the couple might be desirin’ sugar instead of tea right now.” He sipped his cup between chuckles. He hoped the lad and lass would accept his modest wedding gift to them. It was a beautiful small private uninhabited island, just three miles off shore, in one of the most breath-taking parts of the world.
