Domestic Bliss: A Tale of Two Couples

When Gary pushed on the back of her head, she was afraid she might choke, and she resisted, but then she relaxed. Maggie wanted to please him. And she knew she was succeeding by the way he was moaning and shivering. He kept whispering her name over and over. She knew he had to be getting close and wondered how she would know. But there was no warning. Gary suddenly went stiff and his prick was squirting into her mouth. Maggie did cough and choke this time. Even when she did suck off Adam she didn’t swallow. She never had. But Gary left her no choice. She swallowed his thick seed, but it kept coming, and soon it was running down her chin. There was just so much of it. Maggie swallowed like a good girl—she assumed that’s what Alexandra did—and hoped she wasn’t too much of a mess.

Gary looked at his cum dripping from Maggie’s chin and he thought it was the hottest thing he’d ever seen. He hadn’t gone fully soft and now he wanted to throw her down and fuck her. All he could think about was fucking her. But he would not be the one to go there. He didn’t know if anyone would be okay with that.

Maggie climbed back into his lap, his wet cock pressed against her thighs. It would be so easy for him to just slip inside, she thought. She wanted Gary to screw her, but she had the same doubts he did. Instead, she whispered, “Please make me come.”

Gary hiked up her dress and ripped her panties. Maggie startled, and he smiled. Her pussy was soaked, soaked like he’d never felt, and his fingers slipped across her clit. Maggie jumped again. His fingers slipped inside her so easily. She moaned his name and put her head on his shoulder.

Adam watched from the side. Saw his wife sit on Gary’s lap and spread her thighs wantonly for him. Her dress was around her waist. He wished he was closer. Next time he would try to be. Yes, he was decided there would be a next time. He saw Gary’s hand moving and Maggie swooning and knew his friend was getting his wife off. Maggie shook and shivered and hung onto Gary tightly. It seemed like it only took a couple minutes for her to come on Gary’s hand—come like she was desperate for it. Damn, that was hot! Adam flooded Alexandra’s mouth. He held her head tight, shooting right down her throat. Unlike Maggie, Alexandra didn’t struggle at all. She eagerly swallowed every drop and kept on sucking after he was dry, like she wanted to bring him back to life again. Instead, he pulled her mouth off of him and pulled her up into an embrace. He was trembling when he held her.

No one understood how to break the strange, awkward silence. None of them had a frame of reference for what had just happened. Alexandra sat on the chaise between Adam’s legs, and Maggie remained on Gary’s lap, though her skirt was pulled down. The slow jam R&B music coming from Alexandra’s phone only made the moment more surreal. It was like the music was encouraging the party to keep going, but none of the participants knew what should come next. It was probably only a few minutes, but it felt like they’d been sitting like that all night.

“I’ll be right back,” Alexandra said, hopping to her feet. She could feel Gary watching her and knew he probably wanted to come inside with her, but instead she walked over and grabbed Maggie’s hand. “Let’s freshen up,” she told her friend.

Adam watched the ladies disappear into the house and then looked to Gary. The men had known each other a long time, and he thought he had a pretty good bead on who Gary was, but Adam didn’t know what his next move should be. The Gary he knew would have never allowed any of this to happen. So did Gary want to punch him, or was he cool with the trade? Adam went on the offensive.

“So how long have you been screwing my wife?” Adam asked, walking over to grab fresh beers from the cooler.

Gary turned ashen. “It’s not what you think,” he stammered.

“Hey, we’re all adults here. I don’t think I have any right to bitch, if you get my meaning.” He tossed Gary a beer, then sat across the table from him.

“I’m not fucking your wife. Are you fucking mine?”

“Not yet.” A slow smile crept across Adam’s face.

“So you’re fooling around with Lexi?”

“Only after we figured out you and Maggie were hooking up. How did that happen?”

“It was an accident,” Gary said defensively. Although he wasn’t any more wrong than the others, he still felt like he had to explain himself. He just couldn’t take the cocky attitude Adam did. “One afternoon we fell asleep while the kids were napping and things just started happening before we were fully awake. And then it sort of snowballed.”

Adam looked skeptical. “Hey, I’m not judging. I know things happen. Sometimes it just all builds up and you can’t control yourself. But you haven’t fucked?”

“No. We were adamant about that.” Gary knew how hollow that sounded. If Adam were trying to justify his fooling around with Alexandra as it’s okay because we didn’t screw Gary would have found it ridiculous. He also got a weird vibe from Adam—like his friend was actually into Gary and Maggie being together.

“You said you and Lexi weren’t having sex, yet,” Gary countered.

“Listen, I think we can all come to some sort of arrangement. This is obviously something we all want—and like I said we’re all adults—so why don’t we figure something out. If we’re all cool, why should anyone hold back. Everyone can have a good time.”

  “You’re pretty casual about this.”

“We’re all friends. You know I think Lexi is hot,” Adam said, and the other man’s casual use of his wife’s nickname annoyed Gary. “And you’re into Maggie. I never saw that before, but my wife is beautiful, why wouldn’t you be? And it’s not like we’re pushing the wives into doing anything. Hell, I think they might want it more than we do!”

“And you’re really okay with it? You really don’t care if I sleep with your wife?”

A weird look crossed Adam’s face, and he said, “Yeah, I want Maggie to have fun. And you’re a good guy. I know you’re not going to steal my wife. Are you okay with it?”

Gary felt like it was a challenge. If Adam was practically throwing Maggie at him—didn’t want to punch him for what had already happened—how could Gary really say no? Wouldn’t that make him an asshole? But he didn’t know if he could say yes as casually as Adam did. He wasn’t sure how he felt. Yes, he wanted Maggie in his bed, but he wasn’t sure he was okay with Alexandra screwing Adam.

Adam watched the struggle on Gary’s face. Clearly, his friend had mixed feelings about all this, which only made Adam feel stranger about his own feelings. He could almost visualize Maggie and Gary together—not that he thought about the Gary part of it—and he wanted it to happen. It wasn’t even just about Alexandra, but he just thought Maggie fucking Gary was hot. It was getting him hard again, and he wanted to grab one of the girls.

“I think this is a conversation we should be having with the girls present,” Gary said.

Alexandra handed the mouthwash bottle to Maggie and then spit into the sink and examined herself in the mirror. She looked a mess. She looked like she’d been doing exactly what she had been. At least Maggie looked the same. Maggie’s short brown hair was all over the place and her lipstick was smeared and worn away. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes were a little unfocused. Alexandra wondered just how drunk Maggie was. Neither of the women had spoken since entering the house.

  “Are you okay?” Alexandra asked.

“I’m great,” Maggie answered brightly. “Are you good?”

Alexandra knew Maggie was not inquiring about how she felt. “I’m okay. I’m only asking because I know you’re not much of a drinker and you’ve had a lot.”

“Really, I’m awesome.” Maggie stumbled as she tried to put her hand on Alexandra’s arm. She steadied herself against the sink.

“Tonight got kinda out of hand, didn’t it?”

  “I guess. I never imagined…”

“Neither did I. Is there anything we need to talk about? It didn’t look like tonight was the first time you kissed my husband.”

  Maggie was already flushed,
but still managed to blush as she looked away. “It was just a little fooling around, I swear. It just sort of happened.”

Alexandra turned Maggie and made her friend face her. “I get it. Something happened between Adam and I, too. We were drinking too much and it was late, and I don’t know…”

“Adam’s a hot guy. I get it. I think we’ve all been acting out on feelings we didn’t even realize we had. As long as we’re all honest from this point out, it’s okay. Grown-ups can make their own choices, right?”

“Right,” Alexandra replied, drawing out the word. She was taking into account that her friend was drunk and might not feel the same when she was sober, but it sounded like Maggie was suggesting they keep up what they had been doing. “So you’re saying we’re all good to keep going?”

  “If everyone wants to.”

“And you’re okay with Adam and I…”

“I think it’s all pretty sexy, isn’t it? I mean, Gary makes me feel so good. You’re so lucky.”

“Thanks. If you’re good with all this, I guess I am. It’s weird, but if it works for us, who can judge?”

“That’s right. Whatever the four of us want to do is cool.”

Maggie hugged Alexandra tightly and then kissed her. Alexandra was prepared for a peck, but it was a real kiss. And it was soft and nice. She was happy to return the kiss and it made her think about exploring more with Maggie. She had never thought of herself as bisexual, but Alexandra was discovering a lot about herself lately. Their kiss broke and Alexandra smiled as Maggie giggled lightly.

“Let’s fix our make-up and get back downstairs. Hopefully the guys aren’t killing each other,” Alexandra said.

Gary experienced a moment of genuine confusion when the girls came out of the house. He did not know who he wanted more—his wife or his lover. Alexandra and Maggie were so very different from each other. There was really no comparing the women. And in that moment, he wanted them both. For a fleeting moment he thought about having them both—together—but he could not imagine anyone agreeing to that—except maybe Maggie.

He and Adam were sitting at the big round table and Alexandra sat beside him, while Maggie returned to her husband, sitting on his lap. Adam put his arms around her like nothing had happened. Alexandra took Gary’s hand and squeezed it tightly.

“Did you boys have a chance to talk while we were freshening up?” Alexandra asked. She knew that if she didn’t take the lead they would all just sit there staring at each other.

“We did. I think we got everything out in the open,” Adam replied.

  “No fists swinging?” she asked.

“I think we’re a little more mature than that,” Gary said.

“So everything is out?” Maggie asked nervously. She looked back at her husband, who only smiled.

“Yeah, babe, I know you’ve been hooking up with Gary during nap time,” Adam said. “It’s all good. Lexi and I haven’t exactly been behaving either.”

Maggie smirked. “I didn’t think so.”

“So where does that leave us?” Alexandra asked. “Can we go back to where we were before?”

“Do we want to?” Adam added.

“You really think we should all just keep this going—you dating my wife while I play with yours in the afternoon?” Gary asked. He was skeptical. He still had trouble wrapping his brain around Alexandra being with another man—and Adam being okay with him and Maggie.

“With some tweaks, why not?” Adam answered.

  “Tweaks?” Maggie asked.

“It sounds like we’ve all been holding back, mostly because we’ve been sneaking around. On some level, we wanted to do the right thing, even if we couldn’t quite behave ourselves. But if we’re not sneaking around…” Adam let it hang out there. He knew the others would get his drift. It did not appear to him that anyone would have a problem with that, except perhaps Gary, who still seemed to be on the fence. His own wife was surprisingly adaptable. Did he really know Maggie at all?

“So let’s just all start fucking like rabbits? That’s what you’re suggesting?” Alexandra asked. “I don’t think that’s a good idea unless everyone is truly onboard. No one should feel pressured into doing anything. Everyone has to be in completely or no deal. It sounds like this could all be fun, but it’s not worth the consequences if it destroys our marriages.” She could see that Gary was wavering. There would be no agreeing to anything until they’d had a chance to talk—alone.

  “Obviously,” Adam said.

“That’s a good idea,” Maggie said. She knew what she wanted, but she did not want any hurt feelings. “I think this could all be a lot of fun, but we all have to want it.”

“It’s not going to happen tonight. We all need to go off to our own corners and really talk and spend some time with this idea,” Alexandra said. She watched Adam’s face fall. “You guys are welcome to stay in the guest room, or you can come back and grab the kids in the morning.”

“It’s not a long walk. The fresh air would do us good,” Maggie said. “We’ll call you guys in the morning.”

Their parting was awkward. No one wanted to appear overly eager, so they reverted to normal friendly hugs and kisses when Maggie and Adam departed. Left alone, Gary thought the house seemed painfully quiet. He and Alexandra stood by the front door.

“Do you want to talk, or would you like to sleep on all this?” Alexandra asked. She was always one to cut to the chase.

“Christ, I don’t know what to think. Honestly, this is not a decision I thought I’d ever have to make.” Gary walked into the kitchen and she followed.

“You’re having trouble with me and Adam, aren’t you?”

Gary took down two glasses and filled them with ice water from the receptacles on the front of the refrigerator. “How do you know?”

“Because I know you, and I know your jealous streak.” Alexandra smiled. “And I know you’re not very conflicted about sleeping with Maggie.”

“I guess not. Does that hurt you?”

“If you ran off and had an affair, yes, that would hurt, and we’d be over. And I’m not thrilled that you were fooling around behind my back.”

“Is that why you and Adam got together—because you figured us out?”

“The first time, no. It was just a drunken kiss. He was flirting and I was teasing and we were drinking. Things just went too far.”

  “That doesn’t surprise me.”

  “Hey, don’t be judgmental.”

“I’m not. I just know how much you like attention and how you can get sometimes. It’s like her perfect storm. Let’s just say that no one is innocent here, so no one will be casting stones.”

“That’s a good idea,” Alexandra agreed.

Gary was pissed about Alexandra and Adam—even if it meant he was a complete hypocrite—but he had the sense to keep it to himself. His wife would use it to beat him into the ground. It’s just that it played on all of his old insecurities. He knew he’d out kicked his coverage when he got Alexandra to be with him. He wasn’t a bad looking guy, but she was stunning. It was the reason it bothered him when she dressed too sexy and why it bothered him when other men looked. Alexandra loved him, he knew that, but deep down he’d always had trouble really accepting it. And now he was being asked to let her go off and fuck a guy like Adam. Could she guarantee she wouldn’t fall for him? Of course not—not any more than he could promise he wouldn’t fall for Maggie. He already had feelings for Maggie, more than just lust and friendship. He thought he could keep it in check, but did he really know? This just all seemed so dangerous—and yet…

“Do you really think you could do something like this and not develop feelings for Adam?”

Alexandra chuckled, but instantly regretted it. This wasn’t the moment for that. “Of course I could. First of all, you’re my husband and you’re the only man I want to share my life with. No one could ever replace you in my heart. Second of all, this is all about s
ex. Don’t you get that?”

  “Yeah, of course I do.”

“Good. Even if there was a chance I would leave you for another man—and there’s not—it wouldn’t be someone like Adam. He’s a good time, and I’ll admit it, there’s something sexy about his cockiness. I’ve always found guys like that sexy. But I also realized a long time ago that guys like that don’t make good partners. Maggie loves him, god bless her. If we did this, it would only be about having a good time. It’s what we were doing, just taking it to its logical conclusion. You weren’t about to leave me for Maggie, were you?”

“No, it was all in fun.”

Alexandra was not a fool. She could see he had a crush on Maggie, and it stung a little bit. But she also trusted him not to let it get out of hand. It may have been overconfidence, but she just did not see Gary leaving her for someone like Maggie. She was content to let him have his little crush if it made him happy, but it was different for Alexandra. For her, it was all about the crazy hot sex. It was about cutting loose in a why she didn’t quite feel she could with her husband. Adam would never judge her.

“So are we going to do this?” she asked.

Gary grinned. He really didn’t have a strong argument against it. And he really, really wanted to fuck Maggie. “Yeah, let’s do this.”

Alexandra set her glass down and slipped her arms around her husband. “And besides, there could be fringe benefits.”

  “Oh yeah?”

“Maybe one of these nights Maggie and I will do more than kiss.”

Alexandra slithered her tongue into his mouth and cupped him down below. He grew hard under her touch and she continued rubbing him. She climaxed very hard when Adam was playing with her on the patio, but she still needed more. She needed a cock inside her. She was happy it would be her husband’s.

“I didn’t think you were into girls,” Gary replied breathlessly. He untied her bikini top and threw it onto the kitchen floor. Her nipples were already hard from the chilly air conditioning and when he rolled them between his fingers she whimpered. He loved that little noise she made when he touched her.
