Kristen wasn’t surprised when they said they had to work. They were, after all, dressed in their uniforms. Still, she felt it was only polite to ask, and it also opened the door for them to counter with an invitation to dinner and the suggestion that she might want to bring some work clothes just in case she decided to stay over.

They made it sound as if they were giving her an option, but Kristen knew the truth. They had plans for her that night. How could she turn that down? She didn’t think there would ever be anything she could deny them, and hoped that there never was.

She also hoped that Gwen wouldn’t be around when Brandon and Dylan finally dropped her off back at home, but her wish wasn’t granted. Kristen could see her cousin’s car parked in the driveway. Worse, there was a pickup truck behind it.

Uncertain of what to expect, Kristen opened the front door tentatively. She saw the next few minutes going either one of two ways. She could be about to walk into an intimate moment between her cousin and a male friend, or she could be about to be teased by her cousin for clearly spending the night with her own male friends. Either way it would an awkward moment, and Kristen simply hoped to get to her bedroom without any unnecessary embarrassment.

What Kristen hadn’t expected was to be greeted by the thunderous roar of an outraged man. The sound gave her pause and then had her rushing toward Gwen’s bedroom, where she could hear him yelling. Kristen came to a hard stop, though, as his words finally penetrated.

“…do this? What the fuck were you thinking? Sneaking into the sheriff’s bed?”

“He told me the door was always open!” Gwen cut back, clearly on a tear herself.

  “Yeah, when you were dating!”

Kristen recognized that voice. Gwen’s mysterious Dean had returned.

  “The door was unlocked!”

“So you just decided to strip naked and crawl into his bed?” Dean sounded justifiably outraged by that suggestion. It was so outrageous even Kristen was having hard time believing it. Gwen didn’t deny his accusation, though.

“You don’t understand. When Alex wakes up next to a naked woman, he just rolls over and does her.”

“Oh, for God’s sake, Gwen! That’s idiotic.”

That was beyond idiotic as far as Kristen was concerned. It was almost downright weird and desperate. She’d read about pregnant women who went crazy and couldn’t help but wonder if her cousin wasn’t turning into one of them.

  “It would have worked.”

  “It didn’t.”

“That’s because that fat bitch Heather showed up,” Gwen snapped before starting on a rant that had her calling Heather everything from dumb to worse.

Kristen cringed at her cousin’s language, wishing she would just take a breath and calm down. Certainly all this carrying on wasn’t good for the baby. Of course, neither was planning a murder.

  “She’s got to go.”

  “Gwen⎯”

“No! I mean it. I know you know people who can handle the matter. I want Heather Lawson gone, for good!”

Kristen’s eyes widened at the firm determination in her cousin’s tone. It countered the voice in her head saying Gwen didn’t mean it. She was just upset. Once she calmed down, she’d realize that she was talking crazy.

She would, Kristen swore to herself. She would.

“Even if you get rid of Heather, Alex isn’t coming back.” Dean argued, earning Kristen’s respect for being willing to battle the crazy that was coming undone in Gwen’s bedroom. “He had you arrested, Gwen. Arrested!”

Before Gwen could respond to that or Kristen could absorb it, the shrill ring of a phone cut through the air, shattering the illusion that this was all just a horrible dream. In a split second, Kristen was rushing to her room as she heard footsteps pounding toward Gwen’s door.

Kristen made it to her safe sanctuary, managing to close the door before her cousin slammed open her own. With her ears cocked to the sounds of Gwen answering the phone, Kristen quickly ripped off the shirt and shorts she’d worn home. The bathing suit had gotten left behind, but before she could reach for a fresh pair of underwear, Gwen was pounding on her door and making Kristen dive for her robe as she threw it open.

  “Phone is for you.”

With that abrupt pronouncement, Gwen stormed back off to her room, leaving Kristen shaken and uncertain of what to do besides answering the phone. Cinching her robe’s belt around her waist, she darted quickly across the hall to pick up the receiver, only to find that it was Cybil calling to confirm that she was on her way.

That left Kristen no time to get ready. She was hopping down the hall as she fumbled with her shoes and tried to answer the door all at the same time. Thankfully, whatever was going on in Gwen’s bedroom, she and Dean had turned down the volume, assuring Kristen didn’t have to explain anything to Cybil.

Her own curiosity, though, was churning. Over the next week, it burned brighter as her cousin started acting weirder and weirder. It came to a head the following Sunday. Kristen had spent almost every night at Brandon and Dylan’s, a fact that had not gone unnoticed by the good citizens who shared their neighborhood and their love of gossip with just about everybody else.

While Kristen wasn’t ashamed of her blossoming relationship, she was unnerved by the curious looks and speculative whispers. There was one way she knew to get them to stop. It was time to go to church in Pittsview. Churches in small, rural Southern towns were basically like families, and only families attended. Going with Brandon and Dylan would solidify that they were not just fooling around but committed, even if their relationship had some peculiarities.

So Sunday morning she got dressed in her finest clothes after taking a titillating shower with both her men and headed off for the First Citizens church. The way took them past the small, run-down motel that had been built decades past on the outskirts of town. Only the most disreputable sorts stayed there.

Sure enough, as they cruised past, Kirsten’s eyes lit on the sight of her cousin racing through the parking lot wearing next to nothing and chasing the sheriff. It was too much to hope nobody else caught the spectacle Gwen was making. Brandon certainly did, slamming on his brakes and coming to a stop to gawk at the sheriff as he ducked into his cruiser. Gwen was only a few steps behind him, and she began beating on his windows. Kristen could hear her screaming across the street.

“Oh my God,” Dylan breathed out, cracking into a smile that was downright wicked. “You don’t think the sheriff⎯”

“Nope.” Brandon shook his head and hit the gas. “If you don’t want to end up working on the night shift, you didn’t see anything either.”

“I think I now know why she’s going crazy,” Kristen murmured more to herself than anybody else, but neither Brandon nor Dylan were one to leave that comment alone.

“Who? Gwen?” Brandon asked as Dylan chimed in.

  “Why?”

“Yes, Gwen,” Kristen responded before casting a glare out the back window where she could see the sheriff easing his cruiser out of the motel’s parking lot, leaving her cousin screaming in the background. “He’s driving her to it.”

  “Who?”

“The sheriff?” Dylan once again echoed Brandon’s question with one of his own.

“Of course.” Kristen sniffed as she gave the sight of the sheriff coming up behind them a cold shoulder. “He’s playing with Gwen’s affections.”

“Gwen has affections?” Dylan laughed at the very notion, causing Kristen to pucker up, but before she could say anything, he was kissing the reprimand right out of her head.

They did a lot of that. Picked on her a little, teased her sometimes, and then kissed the mad away before it ever had a chance to catch on. Kristen would have suspected them of playing with her emotions, but she knew that it just tickled them that they had that kind of power over her concentration.

That, apparently, wasn’t the only kind of power they wanted to yield. Kristen discovered that later that night after they’d finished off
another dinner of fresh fish that she’d caught that afternoon. Once again, Dylan cooked, grilling the fish along with the fresh vegetables Kristen and Brandon had picked from his garden.

The dinner was perfect, and so was the mood. With the night sky blooming with stars that matched the flickering glow of the candlelight, Kristen couldn’t be blamed for misunderstanding the moment when Brandon picked up her hand and announced they had something they needed to talk to her about.

“I don’t want to get married,” Kristen blurted out in a rush of panic that she was about to be cornered.

“What?” Brandon blinked as Dylan scowled.

“What do you mean you don’t want to get married?” Dylan’s tone mirrored the same sullen look he shot her as he retreated slightly in his seat. “I thought you loved with us.”

Kristen had never said the words. She’d felt them, but something had made her hesitate. That something melted beneath the hurt she saw reflected in his eyes.

“I do,” Kristen vowed softly before adding on her own plea. “And if you ask me to marry you, I would say yes, but I’m not ready. I want to go to school and…I don’t know, figure out my life first. Do you understand?”

“Perfectly.” Brandon nodded. “Believe it or not, Dylan and I go to school. In fact the summer semester out at Troy started this week. We just got distracted and forgot to enroll, but maybe you’d like to join us.”

“I’d love to.” Kristen smiled wide, thinking of just how perfect her two men were for her. What she didn’t see coming was what Brandon had to say next.

“Good, but we still have something to talk about,” Brandon informed her. “Dylan and I want something from you.”

“What?” Kristen blinked, thinking there was nothing she wouldn’t give them.

“Total submission.” Dylan smiled, promising he had plans with what he was going to do with her. “At our complete mercy.”

  “Aren’t I always?”

Kristen lifted a brow, thinking she never really had any control when they were around. All they had to do was give her a look, and she grew flushed and itchy, willing to do whatever they asked. Just like right then.

“We’re not just talking about following our lead, princess,” Dylan warned her. “We’re talking you obeying without hesitation or question. If you don’t…punishment.”

The way he savored that word assured Kristen that Dylan was looking forward enough to that to assure she violated some rule. She probably should have been indignant that he would suggest such a thing, much less savor the idea, but the heat flooding through her had nothing to do with outrage.

“I…I…don’t understand.” Not what they wanted. Not how her body was reacting to the situation.

“Then let us show you,” Brandon suggested as he rose up to extend a hand to her. “Give us this one night to teach you everything we know.”

Kristen swallowed, wondering if she was ready for everything but too afraid to pass the opportunity up. After all, everything they’d taught her so far had been absolutely amazing. She trusted them, loved them, and couldn’t say no. Instead, she lifted a hand up to slide it into Brandon’s and allowed him to pull her to her feet. He hesitated before leading her into the house to offer her one simple instruction.

“If, at any time, you want to stop, simply say Godiva.”

  “Godiva,” Kristen repeated.

She was certain she wouldn’t need to use it, and followed him willingly. He led her through the kitchen and up the stairs to the master bedroom they’d started using as their own.

It hadn’t been renovated yet, but Dylan had big plans. Right then, she suspected he had even bigger plans for her. Conscious of his size and heat as he followed behind her, Kristen felt his hands settle on her hips, all but guiding each one of her steps and making her wonder if the fun had already begun.

It had for her. Kristen felt her heart rate pick up, her nerves growing into excited tingles as they reached the bedroom and both men stepped back to rake their gazes over her. She knew those looks, knew what thoughts were running through their heads. Instinctively, her body responded, warming and swelling with a welcome that had her breathless by the time Brandon broke his silence.

“We want you naked, beautiful.” His tone might have held a loving edge, but that didn’t mask the determination ringing in his command. “Strip.”

Kristen hesitated for a mere second before her hands curled around the edge of the T-shirt she’d borrowed from Gwen’s closet. She really needed to go shopping, but she’d been kind of busy all week. Kind of busy and kind of naked, strangely enough never self-conscious about that fact.

How could she be when Dylan and Brandon looked at her with such want and love shining in their eyes? She couldn’t help but enjoy the moment. Both men watched her with growing tension as she slowly eased her shirt upward.

“You weren’t told to tease, princess,” Dylan ground out in a tone she’d never heard from him before. It sent a wild thrill racing down her spine as his lips kicked up in a wicked grin she did know very well. “That’s one.”

“One?” She blinked, not completely certain she knew what he meant. “One what?”

“Talking back, that’s two,” he warned her.

“Punishments?” Kristen asked, knowing she was right by the way his lips twitched.

  “Are you asking for three?”

“I think you just want to give me three.”

“And now you have four,” Dylan stated as he held out his hand. “The shirt, princess. You’ve got five seconds, or it will be five punishments.”

Kristen felt like sticking her tongue out at him, but instead, she had seconds to finish pulling her shirt off and toss it at him. She didn’t dare say a word but simply lifted a brow as Dylan dropped her shirt onto the floor.

“That’s six, princess,” Dylan informed her, assuring her he’d been counting the seconds, too. “Now the rest or we’ll go for an even dozen, and it’ll be a long time before you get to come.”

That was a threat worth respecting.

Kristen made quick work of shedding the rest of her clothes until she was standing there naked with her men starting to circle around her. She wasn’t left to wonder what they were thinking either. Brandon and Dylan were all too ready to share their opinions on just about anything.

“We need to get you some nicer underwear,” Brandon murmured. “Make you put on a little show.”

“I’m not wearing a thong,” Kristen warned him, drawing a line in the sand when it came to have a string up her butt crack.

“That’s a dozen,” Dylan warned her.

“Oh, hush up.” Kristen shushed him, only to end up gasping as Brandon laid a sharp slap across her ass.

“You don’t talk unless commanded to,” he instructed her, not that Kristen was paying him much mind.

She was still on fire from that first spank. It hadn’t really hurt, but it did ignite a rush of heat that had her flushing and dancing a step forward. The blossoming pleasure was a surprise, but the second spank wasn’t.

“You’re to say, yes, sir, when receiving commands,” Dylan explained and then promptly spanked her again when she failed to respond.

“Yes, sir,” Kirsten quickly gasped out, feeling her face flame along with her ass.

“I still detect a hint of attitude,” Brandon murmured close to her ear as he crowded in behind her. “I say we make her punish herself. What do you say?”

Kristen licked her lips and bit back a giggle, trying to sound properly intimidated instead of wantonly amused. “Yes, sir.”

“Hmm.” He eased back. “Definitely a hint of attitude. On the bed, beautiful. It’s time to teach you what domination is all about.”

Kristen forced herself not to smile at that threat, certain she already knew what it was all about. It was all about them bossing her around. She didn’t doubt it fed their natural machismo, but what they didn’t know is that it fueled her own raging desires.

  Of course they were dete
rmined to know it, ordering her to settle up against the headboard with her legs spread and her pussy open for them to enjoy. In that position, there was no hiding the arousal glistening on her lips and making her intimate flesh swell with heated longing. Kristen felt her pussy blossoming beneath their looks, and the urge to touch herself and taunt them almost overwhelmed her.

That was just what they wanted.

“Pet yourself, princess,” Dylan ordered her with an eager note lighting his words. “We can see your little pussy is begging for some attention, so give it some.”

She ached to, but Kristen had never touched herself like that before and hesitated, a little embarrassed by the idea altogether. Hesitations, though, were not allowed, and this time, Brandon cracked his hand right over her intimate folds, making Kristen squeal as a bolt of white-hot rapture shot straight out of her clit and left her buzzing with delicious, wicked delight.

“Now, beautiful, pet yourself or get spanked…choice is yours.”

She wanted to be spanked, but more than that, she wanted revenge for that smug offer. She knew just how to get it.

  Chapter 20

Brandon held Kristen’s gaze for a long moment as her eyes began to sparkle and her hand began the slow slide down over her stomach to settle over the swollen folds of her pussy. The plump and glistening lips parted beneath her touch, revealing the sweet flesh beneath and making him crave a taste.

Since this night was about indulging every craving he had, Brandon caught her hand and held her gaze as he lifted her fingers up to his lips and sucked them dry. He watched her eyes darken with a desire that assured him Kristen was enjoying this just as much as Dylan and him.

Dylan, though, was a man with a plan, and he caught Kristen’s hand as Brandon released it to slap a brand-new dildo into it, one he’d gone down to Dothan to purchase along with a few other items.

“It’s time to stop playing, princess, and start fucking,” Dylan informed her as he released her hand, but it didn’t fall back.
