  NORMA DARCY WAS BORN in London, but her family moved to Whitstable, Kent, when she was two, and Norma grew up living by the sea with her parents and her younger brother. She started writing when she was sixteen, but it wasn’t until many years later that she began to write seriously. A graphic designer by trade, she has always dreamed of giving up design and earning a living from writing. She now lives in Kent with her husband.
