  “Um …”

Frank lightly pressed a finger over her lips, halting whatever she was going to say, and she was glad because she had no idea how to respond to that. His finger brushed over her lower lip and the urge to lick it was a compulsion almost too strong to ignore. She wanted to know how his skin tasted, but she wasn’t brave enough to find out. Plus, after the declaration he’d just revealed, she wasn’t about to incite the tiger by pulling its tail.

“You don’t need to say anything, sweetheart. I just wanted you to know. But don’t ever think we’d make a move on you unless you want us to. We won’t ever do anything you’re uncomfortable with. Okay?”

Sally nodded and turned to the sink. She rinsed the dishes and handed them to him so he could load them in the dishwasher. After everything was back in its place, the counter wiped down, and the dishwasher running, she turned to find Frank watching her.

“How about we watch a movie?”

  “Okay.”

“Why don’t you go and pick one while I make us another cup of coffee?”

Sally nodded again and hurried from the room, very aware of everywhere his eyes touched on her body. A sigh of relief escaped her mouth when she was out of sight and she walked toward the entertainment unit to search through their DVDs. There was the typical stockpile of action movies as well as comedy. What surprised and intrigued her were the kids’ movies. That made her wonder if they had any other brothers or cousins with children. She didn’t know much about them but she was learning a little more each day she spent in their company.

They were honorable, noble men and she wondered how they had remained single for as long as they had. Any woman in their right mind would jump at the chance to be theirs. She knew that they had to have women in their lives and maybe some serious relationships along the way. Were the women they’d hooked up with too picky or was the ménage aspect of things just too scary for the opposite sex to want to hang around?

Sally gasped when she saw the comedy romance Miss Congeniality which featured Sandra Bullock. She’d seen a movie of hers when she was no more than thirteen and had loved the actress from that moment on, but she’d never had the opportunity to see this one and hoped that Frank wouldn’t mind watching a chick flick.

When she heard his boot on the polished wooden floor as he entered the room, she knew that the noise had been for her benefit. They were all so thoughtful because she’d noticed that if she was looking at them, not one of them made a sound as they walked. Tears of gratitude burned her eyes and she rapidly blinked them away.

“What have you picked out to watch, sweetie?” Frank placed full coffee mugs on the coffee table in front of the large sectional leather sofa.

Sally held up the box as she turned and handed it to him when he was a few feet away. He smiled and nodded. “That’s a good movie. Funny.”

  “You’ve seen it?”

“Yeah.” Frank had already turned the TV and sound system on and when he put the movie in the DVD player he walked back to the sofa and sat in the corner. He patted the seat beside him. “Come and sit down, Sally.”

She nodded and sat down on the cushion next to him, eyeing him from her peripheral vision. She turned to face him. “If you’ve seen it and want to watch something else, I’m fine with that.”

“Nah. Sandra Bullock is a great actress. Just relax and enjoy, sweetheart.”

Frank winked at her and pushed play. She sipped at her coffee until the mug was empty and though she loved what she’d seen of the movie so far, had actually laughed over Sandra Bullock’s character’s antics, her eyelids began to get heavy. She hated that she was so tired but after sleeping in short bursts for four years, exhaustion had finally caught up with her.

She sighed when she felt an arm come around her shoulders and pulled her up against a warm, hard body. After inhaling Frank’s spicy scent, she relaxed and let sleep claim her.

  * * * *

Frank lowered the volume on the stereo and looked down at the beautiful woman sleeping in his arms. Her skin was soft and milky white and as she moved into a deeper sleep, pink tinged her cheeks with a healthy glow. He smiled when she nuzzled her cheek against his chest, murmured his name, and sighed with contentment.

He’d thought for sure earlier when he’d revealed that he and his brothers were attracted to her that he’d blown it. The frown on her face had made his heart clench and the air in his lungs back up. She’d looked so damn worried and a little frightened, but she hadn’t been downright terrified, which was a relief. He was going to have to tell Will and Rick what he’d done when they got home and hoped like hell they weren’t pissed at him.

If Sallyanne heard them arguing it might just scare her enough to take off, but if they were going to have a chance to have a good solid relationship with her, they couldn’t hide their strong personalities. Frank loved his brothers just as they loved him, but nobody was perfect and they sometimes argued. On very rare occasions they actually got physical, but only to blow off some steam and once they were done, they usually sat around drinking beers and chatting as if nothing had happened.

Sally had only had her stepbrother and from what Frank had gathered from what she’d told the sheriffs, the guy was a loser and a coward. He hoped that Sally never had to deal with the likes of that fucker again.

Frank heard the truck pull up outside and knew that Will and Rick had returned. They’d been sent out to install a security system that morning and had to go through the rigmarole of making sure everything was working the way it should.

The front door opened and Will entered, followed by Rick. He held his fingers up to his lips and both of his brothers nodded before moving closer to stare down at Sallyanne. The look of love and longing on their faces was so intense even Frank had to look away.

“Did she eat?” Will asked as he moved aside an empty coffee cup before sitting on the coffee table.

  “Yeah.”

  “Good.”

“What time did she wake up? How long has she been asleep?” Rick asked as he stood next to Will.

“She was up around noon and has been asleep for about thirty minutes.”

  Rick nodded.

“How did the job go?” Frank asked.

“It went,” Will replied with a grimace.

“Why don’t you call Luke and set up an interview for that deputy sheriff’s position?” Frank suggested. Will hated installing security systems even though he was good at it. His brother found such work tedious but it came with part of the security job and knew he would never refuse the work, knowing he was helping keep someone safe. “While you’re talking to him, find out what he knows about this Angelo fucker.”

“Have you organized anything for dinner?” Rick asked.

  “No.”

“Okay, I’ll get some steaks out to defrost.” Rick headed to the kitchen.

“I’ll go call Luke.” Will rose before moving to the kitchen, too.

Frank was content to hold Sally as long as possible and hoped she didn’t wake too soon.

She sighed about ten minutes later and when she moved slightly he knew she was about to wake up. Disappointment centered in his chest because he could have continued holding her all day long, but he was also lucky. He’d gotten to hold her a lot more than his brothers had. However, they were going to take turns staying with her so they would each get some much-needed alone time with Sally.

She lifted her head from his chest and he was pleasantly surprised that she didn’t get all flustered about sleeping on him. Instead she gave him a soft sleepy smile and when she lifted her hand to his face, his breath stuttered in his throat. But it was the heated look in her eyes that had his heart pounding so loudly, it was a wonder she couldn’t hear it.

He closed his eyes and savored the light touch of her palm and fingers on his cheek and then met her gaze before asking, “How are you feeling, sweetheart?”

“Good.” She sighed and began to stroke his face.

  While he wanted he
r hands on him, craved her touch as no other woman before her, his body was already hard and aching and he wasn’t sure how much more of the pleasurable torture he could stand. Nonetheless, he loved having her skin pressed against his. She was all warm and sleep fuzzy with her cheeks a nice pink color and a hazy look in her eyes. His first instinct was to clasp her wrist and pull her hand away from his face, but he didn’t want her to think he didn’t like her touching him, or that he was rejecting her in any way. So he gritted his teeth and held still, curious to see what she would do next.

  “You’re so handsome,” Sally whispered.

Frank held in the snort that threatened. He knew he wasn’t butt ugly, but he wouldn’t have used the word handsome to describe himself. He was just an average Joe Blow as far as he was concerned.

“I love your brown eyes and hair,” Sally said as she stared at him.

He exhaled as quietly as he could, before drawing in another breath when she shifted to her knees on the sofa beside him. The position put his eyes level with her chest and he couldn’t help but stare at the cotton-covered, voluptuous globes.

“You have a strong jaw and chin.” She traced the tips of her fingers over his features before brushing them over his eyebrows, back down over his cheeks toward his mouth. Her index finger caressed over his bottom lip before doing the same to his top lip and finally back to the bottom one again. The urge to draw that finger between his lips and teeth, to suckle on it was a craving that had his gut clenching. His cock, which had been half-hard since this morning, twitched and rapidly filled with blood. He hoped she didn’t look down or notice that he was standing at attention. He didn’t want her freaking out if she saw that he was hard.

Sally shifted again, but this time she moved until she was straddling his lap. He closed his eyes again and tried to push the hunger racing through his blood to the back of his mind.

“I want to know what it’s like,” Sally mumbled.

Frank opened his eyes at the breathy sound of her voice and found her staring at his lips. He licked them reflexively and nearly groaned when he saw her nostrils flare and her pupils dilate. Slowly, as if in a dream, Sally palmed both his cheeks and leaned forward.

Frank clenched his hands to keep them at his side, because all he wanted to do was grasp hold of her hips and pull her closer. The moment her soft lips touched his, he was a goner. Lost in her scent and taste as she kissed him. Her lips moved across his, back and forth in an innocent display of inexperience, and though he wanted to take control and devour her, again he was afraid that he would frighten her.

“Frank?” she whispered against his mouth, her sweet breath caressing his skin.

“Yes, sweetie?” he asked, his voice raspy with hunger.

“I want you to show me what kissing is supposed to feel like.”

“Sally …” Frank swallowed, trying to gather moisture in his suddenly dry mouth.

She leaned back slightly and met his gaze with a frown. “Don’t you want to kiss me? I thought you liked me.”

When she went to move from his lap, he wrapped an arm around her waist to stop her from escaping. He held his breath, hoping she wouldn’t panic at the move.

“I do like you, Sallyanne. Very much.”

“Then please will you show me what it feels like to kiss?”

“Okay, but if I do anything to frighten you, I want you to tell me.”

  “Okay.”

Frank removed his arm from around her waist and caressed up and down her back and sides, slowly bringing her body closer to his. He combed his fingers through her hair before cupping the back of her head and applying gentle pressure until their lips met once more. He brushed his lips back and forth over hers and swept his tongue over them, asking for permission to enter. She opened to him on a gasp and although the urge to plunder and ravish pounded in his chest, he kept to a slow pace. The tip of his tongue met hers and then he curled around and along her tongue. She moaned and gasped as the kiss deepened incrementally, until his blood was on fire.

He wasn’t sure if she knew what she was doing but her hands moved from his shoulders and began caressing down his arms, over his pecs and abs. His cock pulsed with need and leaked pre-cum but he ignored the lower half of his body.

Sallyanne began to respond, copying everything he did until he felt as if he were about to explode, but he kept a tight leash on his control. She lifted her head, breaking their kiss, breathing heavily as she stared at his mouth and then touched a finger to her own kiss swollen lips.

  “That was … wonderful.”

“Yeah.” Frank exhaled noisily before inhaling deeply.

“I never knew a kiss could feel so good.”

“Sex is supposed to feel good, sweetheart.”

  “It is?”

  Frank nodded.

“Do you think you could …”

  “What, Sally?”

Her cheeks turned red and she glanced to the side, but then she swallowed, lifted her chin, and met his gaze head on. “I’m sick of being scared.”

  Frank nodded again.

“I want to know what it’s supposed to feel like.” Sally lowered her head and when she met his gaze again, her face was even redder.

Frank’s heart was beating so fast he wondered if it would leap right out of his chest. He knew what she was asking but needed her to be succinct, needed to hear her say the words, but most of all, if what he thought was about to happen happened, he needed his brothers with him to make sure that Sallyanne was protected.

Even if it was from himself.

  Chapter Nine

Sally couldn’t believe how brazen she was being. She was nervous as hell, butterflies fluttering and twirling in her stomach, but what she’d said was true.

She was sick and tired of being scared. She cared a lot for Frank, Will, and Rick and wanted them to show her what it was like to make love. She’d never even kissed a boy, let alone a man. At least not willingly or with any emotion. Angelo had hurt her in so many ways. Kissing Frank had been one of the most pleasurable, scary experiences of her life, but now that she had experienced what it was supposed to be like, she wanted more.

Her pussy was slick with juices. Her clit was throbbing and her nipples were aching. Who better to show her what making love was supposed to be like than these three caring, honorable men?

“Know what what’s like?” Will asked from the kitchen doorway. Rick was leaning against the wall just inside the entrance. From the heat in both men’s eyes, they had to have seen her kissing Frank.

Will walked toward her and caressed a hand over her head before pulling his hand back to his side and clenching it into a fist.

Rick pushed off the wall and came to stand behind Frank.

“I want to know what making love is supposed to feel like,” Sally whispered and quickly lowered her head.

Will inhaled deeply before exhaling slowly. Sally hoped that he wasn’t disgusted with her request but quickly pushed that thought aside when she met his blazing green eyes.

“We would be honored to make love to you, baby, but we don’t want to scare you.”

“I trust you all,” Sally whispered. “I’ve never trusted anyone the way I do you three.”

“And that means a lot, love,” Rick said, “But if we do this, we don’t want it to be a one-night stand. We want to have a relationship with you.”

“I’ve never had a man-woman relationship.” Sally licked her lips. “I don’t know what the rules are, but I would like to have that with you all.”

Frank rubbed her shoulder drawing her gaze. “There are no rules, sweetheart. Each relationship is different, but you have to promise to tell us if we do something you don’t like or that scares you. All right?”

“Yes.” Sally nodded and then met each of their gazes one after the other. “And you need to do the same thing.”

“We will, baby.” Will held his hand out to her and she immediately took it. He helped her off of Frank’s lap and stared down into her
eyes. “We aren’t going to jump right into bed, Sally. I can feel your hand trembling, but if you will let me, I would love to kiss you.”

Sally’s breath whooshed from her lungs. She’d expected them to want to go the bedroom now and though she was very nervous, she was also very excited. Her mind and body were at war, but it was her heart that was winning the fight. The developing feelings she had for Will, Frank, and Rick were too strong to discount.

Sally nodded her consent and sighed when Will pulled her into his arms. She loved having their arms around her. They all aroused her and she felt so safe at the same time.

She held onto his biceps and waited with bated breath for him to kiss her but he just held her, running his hands up and down her back, easing the tension she hadn’t realized she was carrying.

She met his eyes when he eased his hold on her and then he lowered his mouth to hers. The kiss started out soft and gentle, but quickly built in heat and passion. His tongue delved into her mouth, rubbing along and swirling around hers. Sally’s body heated from the inside out, liquefying quickly, until she felt totally boneless. She leaned into him and moaned when his tongue tickled the roof of her mouth and caressed the inside of her cheeks, before coming back to caress along hers.

Her legs trembled and her knees buckled but she didn’t fall. The arm he had around her waist tightened as he met him in a passionate duel that had her heart racing and her body responding. The kiss they shared seemed to go on and on forever but was over way too soon. When their mouths parted, she rested her head on his chest and kept her eyes closed as she tried to regain control of her breathing and the fire surging through her blood. When she shifted, she had to bite her lip to stop herself from moaning because her drenched folds slid together, causing her clit to throb and her pussy to clench.
