  That would come soon enough.

“Sex,” she answered honestly, and laughed at the look on his face. “What? A wife can’t think about sex with her husband?” She leaned over and kissed his cheek, and for the hell of it nibbled down his neck to his ear.

“Your husband is glad you're thinking about sex, but let’s not die in a car accident before getting home, so behave.”

She reached over to loosen his tie. “I’m sorry Mr. Blackhawk, but you're very distracting as you sit there in your tie and wedding ring.” Elizabeth slid it from his neck, watching the vein in his throat throb. Oh yeah, she was going to enjoy tormenting him. They still had a few blocks, and Ethan still had too much control.

“Lyzee, this is a thirty five hundred pound weapon. There are lots of trees and cars,” Blackhawk warned, but he couldn’t help but think about it. Elizabeth was always spontaneous, and she always tore at his control. Life with her would always be interesting.

“Ethan, I trust you completely.” As they pulled up to the red light, she tipped his face toward hers and assaulted his mouth greedily. His body tensed in need, and she broke away, just in time to have the light turn green.

The kiss scorched all his senses. Anyone who said married sex wasn’t as good as dating sex, had it all wrong. He couldn’t imagine it ever not being this hot and combustible. “You’re playing with a very dangerous thing.” Ethan licked his lips and could still taste her on them. It just made him that much crazier and harder.

Elizabeth grinned salaciously at her new husband. “Here is our problem, Mr. Blackhawk. We have four more blocks, and four more stop lights. I plan on breaking your control, and having my way with my husband. You better either drive faster, or try to not kill us in the meantime.”

Blackhawk looked over at her fast, only to see she wasn’t kidding. At the same time he could feel her hands unbuckling his belt, and he knew he was screwed. “Lyzee,” he whispered, as she took him in her hand and all the air left his lungs.

“Yes, Ethan?” she asked, laughing and meeting his eyes with complete need and want. “Good thing the windows are tinted,” Elizabeth whispered in his ear, as she ran her hand up and down his erection. “I’m going to enjoy this a great deal, husband.”

“Oh God,” he muttered, as she blew in his ear, and then dropped her head to his lap as she took him in her mouth. “Elizabeth,” he moaned, as she worked him in and out, driving him crazy. He prayed the light would stay green but of course it didn’t. As he slowed the car down, she moved faster and sucked harder, as he swore he was going to explode right there. Ethan’s only saving grace was that it was after midnight on a weekday and the streets were empty.

She broke away running the tip of her tongue across her lips as he watched. “Home yet, honey?” she inquired innocently, laughter filling the car while her hand continued to stroke him.

“Not quite,” he answered, trying to maintain control of the vehicle and his desire. He allowed himself a second to close his eyes and enjoy the assault on his body, as the light stayed red.

Elizabeth stopped the torment momentarily as she started to flick open the buttons on his shirt, one by one, until his chest was bare and his abs and tattoos were visible. “That’s so much better.” She lowered her head, to blow across his erection, and then started leaving a trail of kisses across his abs and up his body, timing it to meet his mouth at the next light.

At the following intersection, she again dove into his mouth, roughly doing battle with his tongue. Her hands buried in his hair, holding him to her, and not letting him break the kiss until she was ready.

Elizabeth was trying to kill him. That was the only possible explanation there could be. Here he had planned on nice, gentle wedding night sex in their bed, and she had other plans. His shirt was open, his erection was in her hand, and he was completely close to losing it, as he tried to not kill them in an accident.

“Last block, Ethan,” she whispered in his ear, licking his earlobe, and then biting it. She enjoyed the groan that finally escaped his lips. He was completely out of control, and she liked him that way.

“When we get home, Lyzee,” he warned her, feeling the old wild him pushing back to the surface. It had been a long time since he’d done anything this wild in the front seat of a car.

His wife was reminding him of how amazing youth could be.

“You’ll what?” she inquired, almost in challenge and then whispering all the things she had planned to do to him when they arrived home.

They were followed by the seductive laugh of a temptress.

“Elizabeth!” He was now picturing the sex that she just planted in his mind with some creative visual words. Blackhawk suddenly wanted to be home very badly and buried in his wife’s body.

This time she licked down his chest, nipping at each of his nipples and giving a little tug. When he shook, she loved it. Lower to his erection and back to her torment she went, taking him harder, faster, and with the intent to make him lose his mind. When she cupped him, the car slammed to a stop in the parking space.

“Oh, God,” he moaned, glad he got them home alive. He took a moment to be completely absorbed in what she was doing to his body. “Had I known on day one that you were like this, I would have married you immediately,” he whispered hoarsely, as she continued her oral assault, but this time with a little teeth thrown in to make him squirm. When he was on the precipice, he pulled her up and took her mouth with a hunger he never felt before. It was hard, rough, and stole both their breaths. All he wanted was his wife.

“Let’s go inside, Ethan, or we’ll be giving your neighbors one hell of a show,” she said kissing him back. It echoed all the feelings he’d just shared with her.

He finally released her lips and found he was breathing heavily, like he just ran a marathon.

Everything she was saying was a jumble.

“Although,” she whispered, “I don’t mind if they know I’m having my way with my very sexy husband in his car. Think I can ride you in here if we open the sunroof?”

Ethan moved fast, zipping himself up, knowing she would absolutely do it. He was out of the car in seconds. Oblivious to the fact he parked crooked and his shirt was wide open. He didn’t even lock his door. Blackhawk didn’t care if someone stole the damn car. All he wanted was to get inside the brownstone and his wife.

  NOW!

Blackhawk moved to the passenger side, pulling open the door and yanking her out. Elizabeth crashed into him, and he couldn’t help but seal his lips to hers once more.

Ethan walked them backwards still kissing her, as they both stumbled up the stairs. His wife landed mostly in his lap and yet they still they never broke apart.

Finally, they made it to the door; he fought valiantly to get the key into the lock as her hands groped him and threatened to unzip his pants again, exploring him in the hallway. “Get the alarm,” he mumbled into her mouth, breaking away long enough for her to enter the code, and then she was back again, slamming into him and crawling up his body.

Sex with her was like walking into a hurricane. It was wild, out of control and there would most definitely be wreckage afterwards.

God, he loved every second of it!

Elizabeth gasped as the dress was pulled from her body. It was the only reason she set him free. There would never be a more perfect man than Ethan Blackhawk. She pulled his shirt from his shoulders, dropping it by the door. Her hands were exploring him everywhere, as if memorizing his body. Elizabeth leaned into him, and they fell back, overturning a table and knocking all the keys to the floor.

Yet, they still continued on feverishly.

Blackhawk held onto her, pushing away from the wall as he kicked off his shoes. When her hands unbuttoned his pants again, they lost their balance and practically knocked the picture to the floor.

His wife worked fast, pushing his pants off his hips and taking his boxers down too. He was naked and ready, and he felt the need to reciprocate. He slipped his finger in the sid
e of her lacy panties and yanked roughly, tearing them from her hips.

She gasped into the kiss at the sound of rendering fabric.

It only made him wilder. He was officially out of control and on the edge. As she struggled to unclasp her bra, Ethan couldn’t wait any longer.

“Let your husband take care of that, Lyzee,” he whispered into her ear as he ripped it from her body. When she moaned, he nipped her on the neck, never wanting to stop.

Just the mere word ‘husband’ made her flush with heat. He caught her off guard, as he pushed her against the wall and dropped to his knees. The control was his now, as he continued devouring her, while the wall kept her from collapsing.

Blackhawk dove into the heat of her body, like a starving man, licking and tasting her, driving them both crazy with his mouth. When he invaded her with his fingers, he felt her sink her hands into his hair. The sensation undid him, as he broke away, enjoying the glassy look and breathless gasps coming from her. So much for a bed and romance, they were far too gone for it now. He stood, lifting her up and impaling her right there in their hallway. Later, he would think back to this moment and remember how it was wild and out of control, like they were teenagers in lust. It was frenzied and uninhibited, and he loved how he could be wild with her.

Elizabeth gasped as he pressed her to the wall and pushed into her, taking claim of his wife. The look in his eyes drove her even wilder, if that was possible. When her husband started moving, he buried himself into her body with such urgency she didn’t know how long she would last. It was her control being ripped to shreds now, and it was the most delicious feeling in the world.

Ethan focused solely on her as he kept up the motion, using his body to bring her so much pleasure. He was so close, as he could feel her hands on his shoulders as her nails bit deliciously into his skin. When she began quivering, Blackhawk knew she was even closer. “Almost there,” he whispered to her, sliding in and completely out, to give him full range and more power. “Wait for me,” he ordered brusquely, as he continued the invasion into her body.

She met his eyes, and tried to wait for her husband to join her in bliss. When he nodded, Elizabeth let go, breaking apart at his invasion. She moaned his name and exploded into a million fragmenting pieces.

Blackhawk felt her tighten around him. When he pulled out and had to fight to gain entrance into the tightness, and he knew he was done. “Oh God, baby,” he moaned, following her over the edge as he slammed into her. The explosion took him to his knees, as he slid down the wall with her pressed against him.

It was her laughter that dragged him back to reality.

“Holy shit, I don’t think we can ever top that, and live to tell about it,” he said, his forehead still resting on her collarbone.

“That was pretty fantastic wedding night sex,” she replied, kissing his ear. “I love you, Ethan.”

“I love you, too and that wasn’t what I planned for wedding night sex,” he laughed, hoarsely. He sprawled on the floor, pulling her with him, as he tucked her against his body. “Just wow, Lyzee.”

“I don’t think you should plan a wedding night when you spontaneously get married an hour after you ask. There has to be a rule about that somewhere.”

“We aren’t spontaneous, we’re combustible. I don’t have words for what just happened in the car, the hallway and almost in the street.”

“We wrecked the place.” The picture on the wall was crooked, there were shoes and clothes strewn everywhere, and one of the tables was on its side. “We just barely made it in the door,” she went up on her elbow and looked down at him.

“Well, whose fault is that?” he asked, opening one eye, and grinning smugly.

“It’s not my fault my husband is incredibly sexy and too handsome for his own good.”

“You should meet my wife. She’s incredibly hot,” he muttered. “All she thinks about is sex, and for that I am eternally grateful.”

Elizabeth laughed. “It’s only since you rode into town, Cowboy. I wasn’t having sex for the last year. I do have some control.” Elizabeth knew neither of them had been having sex, as he tried desperately to find her.

He shook his head. “If that was your definition of controlled, we’re in serious trouble.”

“You can blame me for that spectacular display of amazing sex. I will absolutely take full credit,” she said kissing him, slow and lavishly as her hands began wandering again.

Ethan’s body slowly stirring back to life. “If you keep it up, Elizabeth, there will be a round two.” He was giving her fair warning in advance.

“You have to beat what I just pulled off,” she challenged him. “I’ll even give you a few chances to top it, tonight.”

“I’ll take that challenge,” he rolled with her. “This time, let’s try the bed. Oh yeah, I happen to have handcuffs,” he tossed her over his shoulder.

  “You wouldn’t!”

Ethan Blackhawk couldn’t help but laugh, as he carried her down the hallway to their bedroom. He probably wouldn’t use them, but then again, he wasn’t making any promises.

  Elizabeth did challenge him.

  ~ Chapter Fourteen ~

  Wednesday Morning.

Blackhawk woke once again to an empty bed, but this time he didn’t worry. He stretched and yawned, feeling completely relaxed. Neither of them had much sleep, but it was their wedding night. They would get only one, and they took complete advantage of it. Ethan took her to their bed, and the next round was slow, sensual and aching sweet. He made love to his wife, taking his time, and in turn she gave back the same thing. After they finished, they both fell asleep connected, and wrapped around each other.

The smartphone on his bed stand beeped, getting his attention. Blackhawk scanned the incoming messages. One was from Gabe, informing him the plane would be leaving in a few hours, and one from Tony, updating him on the information they were going over. He scanned the email and suddenly felt wary. Before they left, he had his people run her people, including her, and he didn’t know how she’d feel about that. It may come across as lack of trust on his behalf. He only hoped she didn’t see it that way.

Blackhawk pulled on his boxers and wandered out to the kitchen. He could hear Elizabeth making breakfast, and he smiled.

His wife was cooking for him.

It was an amazing feeling to put those words in a sentence together. He noticed the hallway had been put back into order, the clothes had disappeared, and the picture returned to its rightful position. In the kitchen she stood, and it took his breath away. Gone was the mourning woman, and back was his tough sheriff. She wore her low riding jeans, shirt sleeves rolled up, and badge sitting on her hip. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and it was cascading down her back. He was amazed that she could transform so quickly. She was ready to go back to work, and so was he.

He cleared his throat to get her attention.

“Hey, Cowboy, how’d you sleep?” Elizabeth asked, walking towards him, snagging his coffee and giving him a big kiss.

“Really good, how about you?” Blackhawk took the mug willingly, and noticed she had the paper on the table waiting for him. It was all so very wifely.

“I slept like a rock.” Elizabeth flipped a pancake and caught it on a plate. “Now that’s kitchen skills, Cowboy,” she winked at him.

“Are you going to do this daily?” Blackhawk grinned like an idiot, and he didn’t even care. Marrying her was the best thing ever.

She looked confused. “Do what? Wake up?”

  “Make me breakfast every morning.”

Elizabeth smiled and thought about it. “Well, probably not. Once we start having kids, you can be in charge of the breakfast duties. I have to give birth to them; you should have to feed them.”

The words made his heart skip a beat. “Deal,” Ethan sat at the table and drank his coffee. “Are you ready to head back?” he asked cautiously.

“Yeah, I need to wrap this up. I want to move on with my life and my hus
band.” Elizabeth put the breakfast down in front of him and kissed him on the top of the head. “I have two things I need to do today before we leave. How much time do I have?”

He looked at the clock on the wall. “You have roughly two hours before we take off. Do you need my help?”

She smiled at his willingness to do the mundane with her. “I have one errand I need to take care of first, and then I want to swing by the cemetery and place flowers on my dad’s grave.”

“Give me thirty minutes to shower and shave. I’ll be ready.”

She nodded. “I’ll run my errand and be back by then,” she said, smiling at him mischievously.

“Are you going to get into trouble, Elizabeth?” he asked, laughing at his wife.

“Who me?” she said innocently, as she waited for just the perfect timing of him starting to eat. “By the way, I’m taking the car, honey.”

Just the sight of him dropping his fork, and almost choking on breakfast entertained her.

  “What?”

She grinned. “On the back of the marriage license in fine print, you obviously missed the property clause. What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is mine.”

He swallowed, visualizing her driving from the other night. “How about I drive you, baby?”

Elizabeth shook her head. “What’s wrong? Don’t trust the woman you married?” Now she was just messing with him.

Oh hell. This was a minefield.

“Drive safe,” he muttered, shoving a pancake in his mouth.

It was her small little pleasure to watch Ethan Blackhawk all riled up.

  Marriage was awesome.

Elizabeth stepped out of the car, still smiling. She could have easily walked, but she wanted to torment her husband a little bit before they headed back. Fair was fair. After all, Ethan Blackhawk always played by the rules. It was very entertaining how he watched her in a panic from the doorway of the brownstone, as she rubbed her hands together and stared with anticipation at his sleek car. He looked downright scared, as she hopped in, revved the engine, and tore out of his parking spot. The wave from the sunroof nearly did him in.
