“But I do. You said you’re not planning to clan yet anyway.”
“Ugh,” I growled at him. I stood to pace the room. “I told you about my monogamy issues. Look, the other Earthers are starting to believe I’m not an utter whore. Why would I jeopardize that? Why make it easier for them to hate me by finding out I’m hopping from Kalquorian to Kalquorian?”
Nang folded his arms over his massive, chiseled, delicious chest (yeah, I have the hots for him though I’m fighting it with all I’ve got). He smiled without attempting to conceal his smug attitude. “I bet if you and I made love, with actual intercourse, you’d narrow it down to just me.”
“Not too full of yourself, are you?” Sheesh, the man’s ego was unbelievable.
“I’m an experienced man. They are boys. Kiss me and tell me there isn’t a difference.”
Of course there was a difference. I noticed it each time I was foolish enough to allow Nang to put his lips on me.
I sighed. “I am not kissing you, Nang. I lose all my good sense when we get frisky with each other. Nor will I pretend that you don’t drive every sane thought out of my skull. That’s why I you are not touching me.”
He grinned, as if I had challenged him. Maybe that’s what he saw it as. He started walking towards me. No, he was slinking towards me, a cat on the prowl for a nice, juicy Shalia mouse. “Maybe I could put you on my desk again. Bend you facedown over it, spread your legs wide. Pin you down so you can’t escape while I fill your sweet, tight ass with my primary cock. Wouldn’t you like to feel it filling you, driving into you over and over?”
I was retreating towards his door, trying hard not to run. I’ve heard if you run from a Nobek, he can’t keep himself from chasing you down, then fucking or killing you. I didn’t know if it was the same story for a Dramok. I wasn’t willing to find out.
Nang’s grin was growing by the second as he stalked me, his eyes narrowing into dangerous slits. “I smell you, Shalia. You’re aroused.”
Yeah, he was right about that. My heart was hammering, my mouth was dry, and he was scaring the heck out of me. My panties had installed a swimming pool nonetheless. I have some pretty weird urges when it comes to big, bad Kalquorians.
My voice was trembling and I knew he could hear it. I said, “Nang, I am leaving. You will let me go, because if you don’t, I will scream my head off and bring the whole site running.”
“You won’t scream.” He was only an arm’s length away now. I backed into the closed door of his office and fumbled for the knob.
“Shalia,” Nang whispered, taking that final step to loom over me. I wasn’t getting out. I wasn’t going to scream, and I wasn’t going to escape. I stared up at the huge Dramok and waited for him to touch me in the ways he understood, the ways that I couldn’t help but surrender to.
Instead he bent down to press his lips to my brow. His fingers caressed my cheek. He bent further to whisper in my ear. “Sooner or later, you will come to me. You will give yourself to me willingly. And when I am inside you, when we are at last fully joined, when I am fucking your beautiful body and you are screaming with the greatest pleasure you have ever experienced, you will wonder why you resisted for so long.”
With that Nang straightened. Still with that damnable smug smile, he turned and went to his desk. I stared as he settled down to work without another look at me.
Jerk. I hope I have the strength to never prove him right.
October 3, later
Oh my gosh, I can barely keep my eyes open. It is so late. I wanted to put down the latest before I go to sleep.
Not that there is anything earthshaking to report. I spent the last few hours with Dusa after Mom went to sleep. I got her Nobek guard to promise to contact me if she woke. It’s nice to have our own bodyguards. It allows me to go visiting my sweetie pies without worrying. Esak was on duty though, so it was just me and Dusa. I was happy to spend some time with him after being hot and bothered by Nang’s flirting-stalking vibe. No, I did not mention that to my young Dramok friend.
When I arrived, Dusa had a glass of wine waiting for me. We sat down at the small table in his room, and he said, “I need to tell you something, Shalia. I wish to ask for your help.”
Let’s see...Dusa has rescued me, saved my life, and made me enjoy sex a whole lot more than is proper. I told him, “Name it and it’s done.”
He grinned at me. “I’ve decided to clan Weln as my Imdiko. He’s a perfect match for me and Esak.”
I was glad to not be weirded out by the whole dude-with-dude sweetness. “It sounds good to me. Weln is always there for Mom, patient with the stunts she pulls and protective as well. He’s won my vote. What can I do?”
Dusa acted delighted to have my approval. “The problem is that it’s too soon to ask him. We’ve only met and our schedules don’t allow us many opportunities to get together. Still, I’m positive he’s the Imdiko for me and Esak. There is no doubt in our minds about that.”
I nodded. “It’s kind of similar to...love at first sight? That’s something we Earthers say when we meet the right one and realize it immediately.”
I wasn’t certain ‘love’ was the appropriate term, given Dusa and Weln were men. Yes, yes, I know Kalquorian men are usually bisexual. I guess I’m a little weirded out after all. So much for open-mindedness. I’ll deal with it, okay?
Appropriate or not, Dusa’s grin grew bigger. “Yes, it is like that. Esak says he knew Weln was meant to be our clanmate immediately too.”
“But Weln doesn’t feel the same?”
“I’m not sure. I’ve seen him with a couple of other Dramoks and their Nobeks. He’s being courted rather heavily, which is no surprise due to what a wonderful Imdiko he is. Besides that, there aren’t as many of his breed as there are Nobeks and Dramoks.”
I hadn’t known that. “Are you saying Imdikos are rare?”
“There are half as many caregivers as there are Nobeks. They aren’t as uncommon as Kalquorian Mataras, but it can be difficult to find an Imdiko. They tend to clan young.”
Boy, I am never going to get used to Kalquorian society. “You’ve got some competition for Weln’s affections, in other words.”
“Right. I don’t want Esak dangling other Dramoks and Nobeks off any high places either.”
We laughed. At the same time I thought, yikes.
Dusa said, “I wondered if you would put in a good word with Weln for me and Esak? He likes you a lot, respects you. He says Matara Eve is lucky to have such a dedicated daughter as you.”
I was startled. Weln considered me to be that worthwhile? I remembered a few weeks ago before Mom and I had come to the Academy, when we’d been hiding in a house and starving. I’d not been nice to Mom then. I’d been too stressed out. Hell, I’d even contemplated smothering her to death so she wouldn’t have to suffer anymore. No doubt Weln’s positive opinion would crash down if he knew about those desperate musings.
Swallowing the sudden lump in my throat, I told Dusa, “I’d be glad to tell him how wonderful you two are. It would be the truth.”
Dusa gave me his brightest, sweetest smile. “Thank you, Shalia. I will be forever grateful.”
“In that case, I think you should earn my praise.”
When he gave me a puzzled, concerned look, I arched my eyebrow at him. Then I blatantly stared at his crotch.
Dusa laughed at my antics. “Oh please, let me. I’ll work hard to prove my case to you.”
Which he did. Moments later I was naked on my back on the bed, and his face was buried in my pussy. His lips and teeth tugged at my nether lips, making me groan. I ground my crotch against his mouth until I received a few sharp smacks on my rear for being too demanding.
“Why can’t I be in control?” I asked, though in all truth I was happy to lay there and be served.
“Because I am the Dramok. I am in control.”
“Come on. Can’t I be on top for once?”
“You on top? Of me?” Dusa started to laugh, then he abruptly got serious.
You know, that is not a bad idea, Shalia. I’ll let you be on top.”
“Really?” There was something devious in his expression that made me doubtful of his intentions.
“Yes.” Dusa rose up from between my legs...oh sadness...and laid down next to me. He patted his groin just above his perky penises. “Up you go.”
Well, all right, I thought. I clambered on top of my big boy and settled myself on those gorgeous cocks. I was ready to ride my mighty stallion, ha-ha.
I discovered a problem almost immediately. Kalquorians are immense, and I don’t mean sex organs. They are large all over. Large enough that an Earther girl’s knees don’t quite hit the bed when she’s sitting on one. I would have to put my feet under me in a squat to make it happen.
“No Shalia, lean forward and brace your hands on my chest,” Dusa said.
“I don’t see how that is going to work,” I told him after considering.
“Trust me. It will work great.”
I decided to humor him, if only to prove he was wrong. I leaned forward, placing my palms on his chest. I could dig my toes in and move back and forth that way, but I still believed the squat position would give me more range of movement.
Before I could point that out, Dusa grabbed hold of my hips. His grin was evil. “Now we both have what we desire. You’re on top and I’m in control.”
I opened my mouth to ask him what the hell he was talking about when his hands powered me upward, lifting my butt towards the ceiling. His cocks slipped deliciously outward, coming close to escaping me. He reversed then, yanking me down while shoving his groin up. We met with a meaty smack.
He hit every good part of me when he did that, making my insides seize with bright rapture. With one thrust, I was on the brink of orgasm. I yelled, my fingernails digging into his chest.
“I was sure you would like that,” Dusa smirked. He picked me up again, forcing me to balance on his chest.
“This isn’t quite what I was talking about when I said I wanted to be on top,” I gasped.
“It’s what you’re getting.”
The next instant I was heading down again, yanked down into another gut-wrenching, climax-begging crash. My mouth opened wide in reaction as ecstasy bolted through me. “Dusa!” I screamed.
“That’s what I enjoy hearing; you screaming my name,” he growled.
Up I went once more, leaning against my arms and hanging on for dear life. I had no choice but to keep my arms braced, which meant I had no way to stop the demanding Kalquorian.
Our sexes pounded against each other. Another blast of erotic elation. I was so close. I shuddered and spasmed in warning.
Dusa lifted and jerked me down twice in quick succession. That did it. Orgasm seized my body and tore me apart in a gorgeous cataclysm. I wailed and thrashed as pulses rolled through me. My arms went out from under me, tumbling me onto my lover’s body.
When I recovered my voice, I groaned, “You beautiful bastard. That was over too fast.”
“Who said it was over?” he growled in my ear.
“What?” I struggled to pick my head up to look into his face.
Dusa grinned at me. It wasn’t a nice smile by any means. “I bet I can make you do it again. Maybe several times.”
With that warning, he was moving my hips again, pounding his cocks into me hard and fast. I could only slide up and down his torso, his power too great to halt. The position put my clit right up against him, rubbing against his warm, firm flesh. There was no protection from the rising tide of renewed climax.
I’m not sure how many orgasms he gave me. Maybe it was only one long, sustained release that kept growing and crashing, heightening over and over until my mind shattered. It was forever before Dusa uttered a massive groan and I felt his cocks jerk inside me.
We lay for long minutes afterward, gasping like landed fish. I couldn’t have walked if a hundred Tragooms crashed into the room to attack us. Jesus, Mohammed, and Moses, that man wore me out.
Dusa said, “You should be on top now and then. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.”
I muttered, “Bad Kalquorian. Bad Kalquorian. Death by orgasm sounds better than it actually is.”
He sighed hugely. It was the sound of a satisfied man.
I made him carry me home. I thought I might never walk again. My Nobek guard’s eyes were wide in awe during the whole trip. After Dusa put me into my bed and before he closed the door behind his exit, I heard the guard ask, “Dramok, do you already have a Nobek?”
Dusa is pretty impressive. Nang should put aside his stellar opinion that he is the ultimate lover.

Holy smokes, we came under attack today. Somebody, or rather a bunch of somebodies, opened fire on the sentries at the Academy’s three entrances. They had it timed right too, when shifts change. As the Kalquorian guards switch off, they exchange information, orders, so on and so forth. They were distracted and got caught by surprise.
From what Weln told me when he escorted Mom to our dorm, a bunch of Earthers outside the Academy ran up and shot percussion blasters at the Kalquorian sentries. Then an unmanned shuttle was sent through the main entrance to crash through the gates, causing a massive explosion and several fires. More blaster fire hit as Kalquorians tried to guard against what they believed was an invasion attempt.
After heavy firing that lasted about ten minutes, the blasting ended. When it was over. four Nobeks younger than Dusa and Esak lay dead. It’s awful. I keep thinking how glad I am Esak wasn’t on duty at the gates. He’s usually outside the Academy, tracking down Earthers who need help. To me, that should be more dangerous than guarding the gates.
Those poor boys. None of those who died were clanned, from my understanding. No doubt they have parents though, parents who will grieve for them as any Earther mother and father would.
Meanwhile, there is a lot of damage to clean up. Construction has already begun to build a barricade at the main entrance. We’re under lockdown again while the situation is examined by Nang and his officers. He commed to let me know the lockdown would probably be over by tomorrow morning. He sounded pissed off and frustrated by the attack.
Nang didn’t have long to talk, but he did tell me, “The attack wasn’t to gain entry, apparently. They only wanted to kill and intimidate. They accomplished the murdering part.”
Nang didn’t allow the Monroe women’s bodyguards leave us this time. He’s not chancing that somebody will take advantage of the confusion like they did when Mom was kidnapped. Dusa commed to check on us also and to be sure we are protected.
Look at me with all these Kalquorian knights in shining armor! Could a girl be any luckier? Still, as much as I enjoy having the attention and would miss my alien friends, a big part of me anticipates getting out of this nightmare.
I forgot to talk to Weln about Dusa and Esak when he was here. It wasn’t the moment to indulge in small talk anyway. Weln was required to return to his own quarters as soon as he saw to it Mom and some of his other charges were safely in their dorms. Matters of clanning will have to wait until this latest emergency is done with.
October 5
Oh dear God. It has been such an awful day.
I woke up this morning to discover Mom sitting up in her bed. I knew something was wrong immediately. Her knitting was in her lap, and she wasn’t moving. Her head leaned over on her shoulder.
I don’t even remember jumping out of bed. In a blink, I stood over her, tilting her head up and yelling, “Mom! Mom! Talk to me!”
The right side of her mouth had drawn down. The eye on that side of her face was drooped closed. She made a funny noise, a kind of ‘mmm-mmm-mmm’ like a softly revving motor.
I ran for the door, screaming at the Nobek guards outside for help. I fought to unlock the damned thing to let them in. They charged into the room in an instant, bending over Mom, one talking urgently into his com.
An ambulance shuttle arrived at our dorm within only two minutes, though it f
elt as if hours passed by. I was crazed with panic; too crazed to realize I needed to put clothes on. My Nobek bodyguard had to find my pants, socks, and shoes and dress me so I wasn’t running around in just the tee-shirt and panties I’d worn to bed. I was out of my skull until the medics arrived and started working on Mom. Thank God for Kalquorians who don’t bend under pressure.
Dr. Dad and his team were waiting in Medical. They whooshed Mom into a treatment room fast. That left me pacing and worrying in the hall. Weln showed up a little while later to keep me company and sane. He kept repeating, “It will be all right, Shalia. It will be all right.” He held me on his lap as he sat on chair he’d found, rocking me like a baby. He kept his strong arms wrapped about me so I wouldn’t fly apart. I don’t know how I would have managed that first hour or two without Weln.
