Hunters of the Gods_Power of Their Mate

She hurried out of the room, down the stairs and out the front door. With each step she took, she felt a loss, a deep yearning to be close to the vampire again. By the gods, what the hell is wrong with me? Alpha wolves, and now a vampire, too?

“I can’t believe that you three are actually back home. I am so happy,” Elaina said as she hugged Saunder’s arm.
He smiled at his mother. “It is good to be home, despite the immediate threats we needed to encounter so soon.”
“Understandable, but things are changing. We don’t know who is responsible for the attacks, nor does it seem like we’ll find out any time soon. Right now, our priorities are providing deeper security around the perimeter for the pack and all its members, as well as those humans who know of our existence and are loyal to us,” Comton told him.
“We would have arrived sooner, but we were very close to completing our mission when orders were given to return. Then, of course, we were sidetracked by the situation the other night,” Heracio added.
“Thank the gods that you were there, and got the call, or more women would have been taken,” Frame stated.
“They still got away with several. How come no one knew of this rogue wolf and his buddies? Their scents were so confusing, and they seemed almost rabid,” Saunder stated.
“That seems to have become a regular situation. These small clusters of rogue wolves sent out to cause havoc and death, or even abduct female weres for what we assume is to force procreation,” Lytes told them.
“We’ve seen it in other lands overseas. The Order is discussing the establishment of a new association of enforcers. It’s just in the beginning stages, however friends of ours have been ordered to meet with top officials for interviews,” Preston said, and then looked at Saunder, who was staring out the window at the gorgeous back yard and gardens.
It was a natural habitat that stretched for miles upon miles. The sanctity of home brought each of them peace and comfort, yet the sting of having what they believed was their mate in their hands only to have her pull a disappearing act, had his guard up and his emotions on edge.
“So what are your plans for now?” Comton asked, wrapping his arm around their mother’s waist. He felt the love between them, the connection mates had that could not be broken.
His brothers felt it, too, but they were on edge, angry at their own mate’s disappearance, and they hadn’t a clue as to where she was.
“We’ll find her, Saunder,” Heracio said through their mind link.
“And when we do, she’ll learn quickly where her place is and to never disappear on us again,” Preston stated firmly.
He was the angriest about her disappearing. The three of them were Alpha wolves and they were high in their positions. Most knew to respect them or avoid angering them. They each had attitudes, a confidence that came with their experiences, and also from the things they witnessed. Years had passed, violent acts stopped in the nick of time, and others they were too late to stop. It all played havoc on their personalities, and how they treated others. They were hard, distant, and demanded respect from everyone. Alphas to the T, and most people, and weres got that. Their mate, however, seeming to be human, did not.
“We plan on assisting with the security operations. We have gained much insight on new technology that can definitely provide more than adequate protection even from afar,” Preston told their fathers.
“Very good,” Frame said.
“We could use your help with organizing better security of the land, and perhaps setting up another kept location of power and command off the sight. Lytes can fill the three of you in on that progress a little later,” Comton told them.
They heard the knock on the door and then one of the Omega’s, Kelly, peeked in.
“Your appointment is here,” she said, and then their mom smiled.
“Wonderful, if you’ll excuse me, the photographer from the gallery the other day is here.”
Comton narrowed his eyes.
“She was checked out thoroughly?” Comton asked, and walked toward his wife.
“Stamos is more than likely with her now. She is quite an attractive woman. She caught the attention of the others, so I’m certain they all took the opportunity to interrogate her,” Elaina said.
“Who is this woman?” Heracio asked.
“A photographer from the gallery. The one who stopped that rogue wolf from taking the boy. Excuse me,” she said, and then exited the room.
“I think I want to meet this woman. I overheard the men talking about her beauty, and her confidence. I want to be sure that she is whom she says she is,” Frame said, and then followed Elaina out of the room.
Saunder felt curious, as well, however, it really didn’t matter, their mate was out there somewhere and they needed to figure out where to start looking for her.

Alexandra felt so nervous standing here in the formal living room of the estate. She knew she was in Saint pack territory, and that Elaina was the mate to the Alpha leaders. She knew how to show respect, and what to say and not to say as to not offend anyone. However, two of the guards were staring at her licking their lips, and she was starting to get ticked off.
She wore a slim fitting black sweater dress, that hugged her figure, accentuated her large breasts, and looked professional and sexy. She had on the tall black heeled boots, strands of necklaces that helped cover the V neck top, and the deep cleavage of her breasts. Her long platinum blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she wore very little makeup, but enhanced her eyes with mascara. She wanted to look good, professional, because these Alphas were well known and wealthy. She figured perhaps more freelance work may come from this.
“Alex, so nice to see you again.” Elaina entered the room along with three very large men with blond hair and dark blue eyes. They took in the sight of her and she immediately knew they were the Alphas.
She smiled and then approached, bowed her head and placed her hand over her belly. “So nice to see you again,” she said, then looked up.
The three men seemed to lighten their dark menacing stares. “I would like you to meet my husbands, Comton, Lytes, and Frame,” Elaina said, and each man approached and shook her hand. They were very good at taking a sniff without looking like they took a sniff. They squinted and then seemed confused. Good, it meant that they couldn’t decipher what she was. Well, she really didn’t know either.
“So what have you brought over?” Elaina asked.
She reached for the large case and smiled. “A bunch of the pictures I took for you to go over, but I must say, I have my favorites. The ones I felt captured the emotion of you and the children.” She said and opened up the case.
“You can place them down here,” Elaina directed, and moved some things off the long, wide coffee table.
As she bent and began to spread out the pictures, the men walked closer, too. “These are amazing,” Frame said.
“I told you, she is so talented. Look at these. Look at the expressions on the children’s faces,” Elaina said.
“I brought this. I had it made up because I felt it was so lovely.” Alexandra took out the framed picture of Elaina with the children.
They held onto her and all of them, even Elaina, gazed at the painting in front of them, appearing mesmerized, however some of the children were gazing up at Elaina.”
“Oh My,” Elaina said, and tears filled her eyes.
Comton placed his arm around her shoulder. “Impressive,” he whispered, and kissed the top of his wife’s head. Elaina smiled.
“Alex, these are incredible,” Lytes said to her, and then the other men came in. Stamos, and the two guards from that day. They were all talking about the photos, and then she felt one of the guard’s hands on her hip bone as he moved closer to see. She tightened up and turned to look up at him.
He winked and licked his lips. “Beautiful,” he said to her.
“Grrrr.”
A large growl
echoed in the room. The guard stepped back. Elaina and everyone turned toward the doorway, and there stood the three wolves from the other night. Their eyes glowed, and their teeth showed.
She retreated around the coffee table.
“Move away from her now,” Preston demanded.
The guards bowed their heads and hurried from the room, others did, too, and left her standing there on the other side of the table.
“What is wrong?” Comton demanded to know, and the three wolves slowly came deeper into the room.
“What are you doing here? I don’t want any trouble,” Alex said, and she felt scared and also aroused.
“Well, that’s a little too late, considering that you disappeared on us,” one of them said.
“Heracio, Preston, and Saunder, what is this all about? You’re scaring her,” Comton stated.
They were near her quickly, all three men super tall and large crossed their arms in front of their chests and stared down at her.
“Why did you disappear?” One asked.
“How do you know our mother and our pack?” the other asked.
Then the third, the largest, currently the most intense growled low. “Answer us.”
“I didn’t know that this is your pack, that these are your parents. I came here because I met your mother at the gallery. I’m a photographer.”
“The gods sent her to us.”
“Heracio?” Lytes questioned.
“Heracio,” she whispered and looked at him. He was so attractive, had wide muscular shoulders, a firm expression, and his eyes…his eyes were glowing. She felt her nipples harden, and then her pussy cream.
They sniffed. “I’m Saunder,” the middle one said.
“Saunder,” she said his name.
“Enough,” the third one stated firmly, and moved toward her, wrapped his arm around her waist, and pressed his mouth over hers.
She was shocked as she gripped onto the thick, hard steel muscles and felt his tongue press deeper into her mouth as his hands held her so possessively. Her body tingled and warmed up, and she began to relax in his arms when she felt that tightness, and then his hand smoothed over her ass and squeezed her to him. She had to stop this. It was too much, and she didn’t even know him. Wolf or not, she wasn’t used to this. She gripped onto him and he must have sensed her need to slow things down as he slowly eased his mouth from her lips, then kissed along her neck. “Preston, please. Slow down,” she whispered, out of breath.
He gazed into her eyes. “They’ll be no disappearing again, mate.”
She heard their mother gasp, their father’s low rumble of maybe a chuckle or an acknowledgement of pride for their sons as Preston slowly stepped back. Her reprieve was short lived when Saunder grabbed her next, cupped her cheek and stared down into her eyes. He had to be six feet four, and was just as huge with wide muscular shoulders and a fierce expression on his face. She felt the same deep attraction and then his mouth covered hers and kissed her tenderly. He, too, lost control of taking things slow as he slid a palm over her ass and rocked his hips against hers. She pulled back.
“Saunder, please. Oh my, this is crazy,” she said after he released her lips.
“My turn to taste our mate,” Heracio said, and then pressed against her side and sniffed her hair before Saunder released her to his brother. Heracio kissed her on the lips as he dipped her romantically, and she had to hold on so she wouldn’t fall. Yet something told her he wouldn’t let that happen and her mind began to swirl with a multitude of thoughts. When suddenly the vampire popped into her head. She pulled her mouth from Heracio’s and gasped as she gripped him tight.
“Easy, woman, you’re safe in these arms,” he said, pulling her upright then hugging her close.
“Would you all like to explain how exactly you met?” Comton asked.
Alexandra stepped from Heracio’s hold, and he narrowed his eyes at her.
She pulled back and fixed her dress, rubbed her lips and then stared at them all in shock.
“I think you’ve overwhelmed her,” Elaina said, and pulled her close and helped Alexandra sit down on the couch.
“I’m so sorry about this. It was unexpected,” she said, and then felt a tingling sensation. She knew immediately what it was, or rather, whom it was. Cable’t Goustou.

“Why did you disappear the other night at the bar? You felt the attraction, you knew we were Alphas?” Preston demanded to know.
Alex tightened up and pulled back. His mother covered her hand with hers and gave a soft smile. “He will not hurt you. Alphas can be very demanding and find difficulty in speaking in calm tones. They aren’t used to it,” she said to her.
“I’m so confused. I can’t even think. Maybe it’s best I leave.” Alex went to stand up.
“No. You are not going anywhere until I say you can,” Preston ordered. His nostrils flared and the combination of a need to claim his mate, and a fear that she would once again disappear and they wouldn’t know how to find her, made him react.
“Preston, she doesn’t seem to be of the wolf, perhaps she doesn’t understand the process,” Elaina said.
“Elaina.” Comton raised his voice and one look at his fathers and they knew and understood what was happening here. Their sons were Alpha males and they found their mate. Comton held out his hand. “We’ll leave them alone to discuss things. Come now,” he ordered, and Elaina went to speak and Comton raised one eyebrow at her and she complied.
Preston wondered if Alex would be accepting to their power or if she would be resistant. Either way, he was up for the challenge. The woman was a goddess. Knowing that the other wolves talked about her, tried to touch her and flirt, had sent his wolf into protective mode. He couldn’t be a gentleman when he caught her scent in the hallway, and then saw one of the guards pressing close and touching what belonged to him. They were silent as their parents left the room and closed the door. Alex was standing up, hands clasped in front of her, chest heaving up and down.
“Do you understand what it means to be a mate to Alphas like us?” he asked, his tone still sharp. It was his way. Their way. She shook her head.
“You know wolves exist, do you understand or know any of our beliefs and ways?” Heracio asked.
“Yes.”
Preston pressed closer and took her hand. She gasped but he shook his head at her and pulled her close. He inhaled against her neck, and she closed her eyes.
“She’s shaking but I can smell her arousal, I want to taste her,” Preston said, and he slid his palm along her waist. She grabbed onto it, shoved down and away. She ran her fingers through her hair and turned from them. Preston wrapped his arms around her waist. “Don’t push me away. It is useless to fight it.”
“It can’t be like this. It can’t,” she said to them.
Saunder and Heracio stepped toward her and Preston. Preston held her tight. “Never turn your back on a wolf, ever,” he said, and then suckled against her neck. Her arm pressed over his.
“Arms at your sides. You will learn to accept our orders, our commands.” He stroked his palm from her waist to her breast. She moaned, her arms went to her sides in submission as he licked her skin.
“Oh.” She moaned.
“That’s right, you will be submissive. Will learn the rules, and how to please your Alphas.”
“My Alphas?”
“Your Alphas,” Saunder said, and cupped her cheeks then began to peck at her lips with his.
Heracio took her one hand and brought her palm to his mouth and kissed it. She moaned into Saunder’s mouth and Preston suckled harder on her neck. He then squeezed her large breast, and was thrilled that she was too big to fit in his palm—and he had big hands. He tugged on her nipple and she pulled her mouth from Preston’s to gasp.
“Please,” she said, and moaned as her hips swayed back against Preston’s cock.
He was hard, and she felt it. It obviously scared her as she pushed away from between them. Preston woul
dn’t allow it. He grabbed her hand and brought her against his body.
“Don’t push us away.”
“Stop moving so fast,” she snapped at him.
He squinted, and his brothers growled low. He could feel her shaking, but instead of running scared, she gripped Preston’s shirt and pressed her face against his chest. “Please don’t bite me.”
Preston caressed her back, then looked at his brothers who were taken aback by her response of fear to them. He clasped her chin and tilted her face up toward him while caressing her lower back to her ass.
“On the contrary, a little biting by your Alphas could be quite sensual,” he said to her.
Her lips parted, and her eyes sparkled with interest. She tightened up again as Heracio and Saunder reached out and caressed her hair. Her gorgeous blue eyes darted up to the right then to the left.
“Plans. We must make plans to get to know our mate,” Saunder said to her.
“I think we should just whisk her off to bed, that way we can really get to know her,” Heratio stated, then gave her hair a light tug.
“Not going to happen, Heratio,” she said, but then lowered her eyes.
Progress. Little steps, and keeping her close, showing affection will have her submitting in no time,” Saunder said to them.
“Not the traditional method of the mating process,” Preston replied.
“What is the traditional method when our mate is not a wolf?”
“Good question. It is foreign ground. Research needs to be done. Plans made,” Preston added.
She started to pull away. “This is a lot to take in.”
“Are you going to try and disappear on us again?” Heratio asked, taking her hand and bringing it to his lips. He kissed the top.
“I have a feeling it wouldn’t be any use trying. You’re Alphas. You’ll just hunt me down,” she said.
“Ahh, my beautiful mate, sometimes the hunt and chase can be as stimulating as the catch.” He winked.
