Cane tried to speak, but she noticed the words got stuck. Shane finally took pity, and while he pulled Addison back against his chest, he reached over for Cane. Pulling him close, Shane slapped him on the back in only the way another man could, and held him close with Addison between them. She clung to Cane as tears welled in her eyes, threatening to spill over. Love poured from all three of them, and she couldn’t help but cry in happiness at having these two men in her life. Shane kissed the top of her head before saying to Cane, “I’ve got your back, man, and won’t let you down. Just do the same for me and we’ll be damn good fathers. He already has the best mother in the world.”

Cane buried his face in her neck and took a deep, ragged breath. Addison tightened her arms around him. They stayed like that for a few minutes before Cane raised his head, tears brimming in his dark eyes, and mouthed thank you to Shane behind her shoulder. These two men were hers, and she never knew loving could make her chest physically hurt, but she welcomed the deep ache with open arms.

Shane gave another whoop of joy, making Cane finally crack a smile, and color flushed his face. Happiness was starting to suit him, and Shane’s exhilaration was contagious, making them both laugh through their tears. Addison couldn’t help but tease both men by saying, “He could be a she.”

Both men became like statues, holding still while her declaration sunk in. Addison’s laughter filled the air when they both threw her back on the bed in retaliation. Life couldn’t get any better than this, she thought, her merriment turning to lust with the flicks of their tongues against her overly sensitive nipples. She changed her mind on that sentiment when Shane trailed his wicked tongue down to her dripping folds and Cane came up to devour her mouth and swallow her scream. Life could get better.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I currently live in the Midwest with my wonderful son and too many animals to count. I have a very supportive family, which came in handy when I decided to switch my financial career of seventeen years to writing. As most authors, I have been an avid reader all my life and have dabbled in writing since my early teens. We all have those times when reality becomes too much and we need something to lighten our hearts. The passing of my husband happened way before it should have and I live to write the happy ending I didn’t get to have. Here’s to lightening our hearts!
