  Padrino grinned. “We discussed, or will discus, the pyramids in Egypt and the temples of Pumapunku. How you used your inertialess anti-gravitational technology to move those monstrous blocks of stone.”

  “Loraine and I will get to fly your inertialess drive spacecraft in 2014. Awesome. I think you put it that at the speeds you travel and maneuver, without inertialess drive…you would be so much Tyranian goo on the first change of direction or acceleration.”

  “Yes, I’m sure we will talk about that, but what’s this Nazcan gold you were mentioning, Padrino?”

  “My ancestors had accumulated quite a lot of pure gold artifacts that two of the sects squabbled over and one took all they could carry and went north.”

  “North is a long direction. Any other leads?” asked Bone.

  “I’m getting there. The legend goes they traveled all the way to North America.”

  “Big place,” said Bone.

  Lucy got a wry grin on her face.

  “More specifically, what is now, Texas and even more specifically…the Brazos River valley in Palo Pinto County.”

  “Which is underneath Possum Kingdom Lake, in our time…Voilà,” exclaimed Bone.
