“You’ve had this goofy grin on your face since we arrived. There’s something you’re not telling me,” Jade accused as we made our way downstairs to the lobby area. We’d only been in Vegas for a few hours. She looked as beautiful as ever tonight. She’d curled her hair is soft ringlets that bounced off her shoulders, and was wearing her purple wrap dress. She was a true vision.

“How about we have a drink in the bar first?” She was still looking at me intently, trying to figure out what I was planning. “Come on, I think it’s this way.” Taking her hand in mine, I lead her toward the bar where I knew everyone was waiting.

Her friends were a rowdy bunch, so Jade heard them before she saw them. “You didn’t?” she squealed, turning to look at me.

“I know how much you’ve been missing your friends. I think you’ve been kept from them long enough.” Jade crashed her lips urgently against mine.

“God, I love you!” she groaned, pulling back to gaze at me with pure admiration.

“I told you I’d spend the rest of my life making you happy. This is just the start.”

“You’ve given me enough happiness already to last a lifetime.”

“There’s still so much more to come, Beautiful. I want you forever, remember?” Was I being too obvious?

“You have me, Oliver. I’m yours.” That was a good response; the kind I could maybe base a marriage proposal on.

“I know. Come on, let’s go see your friends.”

The first hour felt like a high school reunion. The girls were screaming and giggling so much you’d have thought they were all drunk, but none of them had even touched a drop yet.

“Are they always like this?” I chuckled at Drew.

“They’re usually worse. You should see them all after a few shots of tequila.”

“I can imagine.” I looked up, noticing that all the girls were looking in my direction.

“Oh, you’re in trouble now, Oliver. They all have that look on their faces,” Drew mocked, nudging my shoulder.

“Shut up, Drew!” Georgie rolled her eyes at him. “We can’t thank you enough for this, Oliver. We’ve been going out of our minds with worry about our Jelly Bean.”

“We couldn’t get in contact too soon. I wanted to call you guys, but we needed to make sure it was safe,” Jade replied, gazing at me with love-filled eyes. “I worried it would be too dangerous for you three to know everything, but Oliver knows what he’s doing.”

“It’s fine, Beautiful. Even Seductors deserve a weekend off to party in Vegas. No one knows we are all meeting up, anyway. Just us.”

“I’m loving your boyfriend, Jade,” Molly sniggered. “You should definitely keep him.”

“Oh, I plan to,” Jade vowed, a small smile playing on her lips as she looked at me.

“Okay, you two need to tell us everything from the beginning, and don’t even think about skimming over any of the juicy parts. How did you set Jade free from her contract and get the government involved?” When she was done talking, Molly finished her drink and beamed as she waited for an answer. I didn’t see the harm in filling them in on a few facts. They deserved to know parts of the truth. It was going to be an eventful evening with these four; that was for sure.

I got a rare glimpse into Jade’s life before me while I sat watching her with her friends. Seductors had to be exceptionally beautiful—I’d learned this from scanning their computer system—and when there was more than one of them in a room, they garnered a lot of attention. I sat with my hands gripping the arms of my chair, watching all the greedy male eyes watching the three girls dance. Jade knew how to look after herself. I had to telling myself that.

“It’s means so much that you did this, Oliver,” Drew called in my ear.

“Jade missed you all. I didn’t see the point of keeping you from her any longer.”

“You know I see her as a sister, right?” When I nodded, he continued. “Do I need to do the whole ‘If you ever hurt her I’ll bust your ass’ chat?”

I snorted. “Drew, Jade is everything to me. You don’t have to worry. I’m never going to hurt her.”

“It was a smart move you pulled. You’re a very clever man.”

  “I had the right contacts.”

“I don’t think it’s just that. Something tells me you’re the kind of man that always gets what he wants.” Drew was good. He could read people well.

“All I’ve ever wanted is Jade, Drew. You have no idea what she has given me.”

“You’ve changed her, and for the better, I might add. She’s spent all these years hating herself. I’m sure she became a Seductor so she could hate herself even more.” Thinking about her past, he was probably right. “She was on a destructive path until you walked into her life. You’ve made her see how good she is.”

“Is this your way of giving me your blessing?” I chuckled, taking a sip of my beer as my eyes darted toward Jade on the dance floor. She was lost in the music, swaying to the rhythm. I was hypnotized.

“You don’t need that. Jeez, with the way she looks at you, you could ask her to marry you here in Vegas right now, and she would.” I choked on my beer, surprised to get an answer like that from him without even really trying. Well, that was easier than I thought.

“You really think Jade is the settling down type?” I snorted, trying to keep the conversation light.

“She is with you. Oliver, she loves you with everything that she is. You’re all she wants. No man has ever been able to break through her barriers like you have.”

“You talk as if you know how that feels.” Drew looked over at the girls.

“Not everyone get’s the love they want. Sometimes it doesn't work out no matter how hard you try. I’m happy for the two of you, though. You had the strength and guts to go after it.”

“Things are serious with you and Georgie, aren’t they?”

“Why do you say that?” All the blood drained from his face.

“I’m a smart man, Drew. Plus, I know what a man in love looks like.”

“I don’t want to talk about my problems. I’m not like Jade. I’m beyond saving. I passed that point a long time ago.” I couldn’t mistake the sadness in his eyes. Drew had been through a lot, that much was clear.

“If you want something bad enough, I’d encourage you to go after it.”

“You’re stronger than me. Georgie isn’t Jade, either. I fell for someone who is incapable of love and I’m learning to cope with it.” Jade seemed to noticed that Drew and I were having a deep and meaningful conversation, because moments later she’d made her way across the crowded dance floor and had slid onto my lap.

“What are you two doing? Why aren’t you dancing?”

“Drew and I were just getting to know each other.”

  “Really?”

“I was giving him ‘the talk,’ Jelly Bean.” Jade shook her head, rolling her eyes at Drew. “You’re like a sister to me, but between the two of us, I think you’re onto a winner with this one.”

“You do, huh?” Jade wrapped her arms around my neck, crashing her body against mine as she focused her gaze solely on me. “I think you might be right.” She pressed her lips against mine, and I deepened the kiss, darting my tongue in to meet hers. She tasted like vodka and strawberries.

“Get a room you two.” I wasn’t sure if it was Georgie or Molly talking, but I was too lost in the kiss to look up at the voice.

“Oh, we plan to later,” Jade giggled, pulling back and running her hands through my hair. “You are going to get the biggest thank you fuck of your life later,” she whispered in my ear.

“I’m looking forward to it,” I winked, standing up so I could lead her onto the dance floor.

“Fuck, Jade!” I fisted my hands into her hair as her mouth began to work my cock. The tip was hitting the back of her throat, and it felt so damn good. I closed my eyes, letting her touch take over my whole body. The feeling she created inside me…it was difficult to explain.

  “I
m going to make you feel so good.” She hummed in satisfaction as she licked up and down my shaft before taking me back in her mouth. I had no doubt that she would, either.

I was so close and I didn’t want to cum in her hot mouth. Jade gave me a sexy smile before releasing my cock. She could read my mind, I swear!

“Do you want this soft or hard. You’ve given me so much today, I want tonight to be all about your pleasure.”

“Soft then hard,” I smirked, running my hands in between her breasts while she positioned herself over my cock. She gave me a sly smile before sinking down onto me. It felt like star systems aligned when we were connected this way. Our gravitational attraction was unlike anything else.

“Ungh…I love feeling so full.” Jade leaned back, resting her hands on my thighs and she began to slowly grind against me. She was so deep that I could feel her sexy ass hit my balls.

“I’m not going to last long,” I grunted, pinching and pulling her nipples.

“Let go then,” she purred, rocking up and down.

“Not without you.” I ran one hand down her body toward her sex, and began to frantically rub her clit while squeezing and pulling her nipples with the other hand.

“Oh, fuck, O…Oliver!” I knew this pace drove her crazy. I rubbed faster when she began to increase her speed as she fucked me. Oh, it was a race to the end.

“Come on, Jade. I’m not letting go until you do. I need to feel you tightening around my cock.” With a few more strokes of my fingers she began to build, and we both exploded with earth shattering orgasms. “I’m sure the big bang must have felt something like that orgasm,” I chuckled moments later. Jade was collapsed on my chest, her legs twining with mine.

“That was a big bang.” She giggled at my choice of words.

“All those subatomic particles have nothing on us, though.”

“I love it when you talk nerdy to me.”

“Oh, you do, do you?” I moved, pinning her to the mattress. “Do you want me to enlighten you about protons, neutrons, and electrons, and how the first atoms were formed in this universe?”

“Oh stop, you’re turning me on again!” She giggled as I leaned down to nip at her neck.

“I could get really nerdy and talk about hydrogen, helium, and supernovas if you wanted.”

“Ungh…YES…YES…more nerdy words. Give them to me,” Jade purred, running her nails down my back. It sent a shock right to my cock, instantly arousing me.

“Mmm…Particle acceleration…Nucleosynthesis…Baryonic matter.” With each word that I spoke, I teased her entrance with the tip of my cock, nuzzling her neck. “Superclusters. Cosmic matter.”

“You’re such a wordy bastard. I have no idea what most of those things are,” Jade giggled, smacking my back.

“I prefer it when you call me a dirty bastard, if I’m being honest.”

“Well, how dirty can you get right now?” she challenged, lifting her hips up and making my cock slip inside her.

“Oh, I think you know how dirty I can get, Beautiful.” I grinned, capturing her lips with mine as I thrust deep inside her.

“Promise me you’ll look after her,” Georgie threatened, hugging me goodbye the next morning.

“He’s got this covered, Georgie. Trust me.” Drew smiled, shaking my hand. “He knows Jelly Bean is one of a kind. He’ll look after her for us.”

“This Bromance thing you two have going on is a little freaky,” Jade snorted, looking between Drew and me.

“Come on or we’ll miss our flight!” Molly said impatiently.

“I’ll see you guys soon,” Jade called, waving them off. Once they were out of sight, she turned toward me. “Thank you.”

  “For what?”

“You know what. How did you know I was missing them so much?”

“They were the only constant thing in your life until me. I know you need your friends, and now you have them back.”

Jade threw herself into my arms. “What did I ever do to deserve you?” Running her hands down my chest, she gazed into my eyes lovingly.

“Do you want to take a helicopter ride over the strip before we go?” I could tell by the gleam in her eyes that was a yes.

“You and Drew were really talkative last night. Every time I looked over, the two of you were deep in discussion,” Jade mused after our ride over the strip.

“He’s a very interesting man. Not to mention, I love that he looks out for you. It was nice to get to know your friends.”

“It’s usually an interesting night when you go out with a bunch of Seductors.” When she giggled, the smile on my face slipped a little. Something had been niggling my mind since last night. Did she miss it? Was I really enough for her? It wasn’t like me to be insecure, but I’d never loved the way I did with Jade. It was pure need. I’d move mountains to be with her. Hell, I’d even give up my business, and that was what scared me the most. “Hey,” she touched my face, noticing my distance. “What’s wrong?”

  “Do you miss it?”

  “Miss what?”

  “Being a Seductor.”

“No,” she replied without missing a beat. “It was a way for me to block out my past. I have a future with you now, so why would I miss it? Don’t ever think for even one second that I‘d want that life back, Oliver. All I need and want is you.”

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I pulled her tight against my chest. “I just needed to be sure. I wouldn’t want to hold you back from anything.”

“Are you worried I’ll get bored of my office job?” she snorted.

“I’m more worried you’ll get bored of me.”

“How could I ever get bored of you? You’re smart, funny, have a fuck hot body, love me unconditionally, and you have a very, very, very dirty mouth. You are the full package Mr. Kirkham, and I happen to love you unconditionally, too. I’ll never leave you…unless you want me to.”

“Well, I’d say that we are stuck with each other then.”

“I can live with that,” she beamed, standing on her tiptoes to press her lips against mine.

“What are your thoughts on the economical growth, Oliver?” I was trying to pay attention to the conversation at the gala, but Jade had gotten tied up at work back in Washington. I was waiting for her to arrive. “If you ask me, I think we should be trading more with Russia. That’s where the money is.”

“You have to trust your partnerships, Mr. Fellows,” I cautioned, keeping an eye on the grand staircase.

“You know more about business than me. I’ll take your word for it,” he chuckled.

“Did you attend the last NATO meeting, Mr. Kirkham?” another gentlemen asked. I couldn’t quite recall his name. Luckily, the vision that was Jade appeared and I excused myself to greet her at the bottom of the staircase. She was in a long, silver evening gown that glittered as it caught the light from the chandeliers. She looked breathtaking.

“Who is that?” I heard a man gasp as I made my way through the crowd.

“I don’t know, but if she’s alone, I’m introducing myself,” another replied. I’d show them! Jade was MINE!

“If you don’t mind putting your tongues back in your mouths, Gentlemen, that is my girlfriend you are lusting after,” I commented calmly, pushing past them. Assholes.

“I’m so sorry I’m late. I tried to get here as soon as I could.” Jade apologized the moment I was beside her, taking my hand as I helped her down the last step.

“Don’t worry about that. You’re here now,” I beamed, pulling her close and kissing her deeply. “You look stunning,” I muttered against her lips after pulling away slightly. “I haven’t seen this dress before.”

“Oh, I bought it with Claire when she visited a few weeks ago.” I loved that she got along so well with my aunt. It made me wonder if Jade ever thought about her own family. Well, her father anyway. She was free now, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she was ever going to seek him out. It was a decision only she could make, though. I would never bring
it up. The past was still a difficult subject for her. Seeing her father again would bring everything back, and I didn’t want to witness the pain in her eyes when she thought about her sister, Mina.

“How’s the party going, anyway? How have you been coping without me?”

“It was exceedingly dull until you brightened it up. Shall we mingle?” Jade put her arm through mine before I led her into the mass of people.

“You look radiant, my dear!” The police commissioner’s wife embraced Jade, looking at me over her shoulder. “You two make such a fine couple. I can imagine how beautiful your children are going to be.” Jade choked a little, turning to look at me with wide eyes.

“Let’s not be too hasty, Maria. Jade and I are happy just being together at the moment.”

“Oh, don’t be silly. It’s clear from the look on both your faces. You two are head over heels in love with each other! Seize the day, I say. Make an honest woman out of her, Oliver.” Maria nudged me, giving a little wink. This woman was unbelievable. “She’d be crazy to decline. You are the most eligible bachelor in New York.”

“How much champagne have you had, Maria?” I smirked, shaking my head at her.

“Not enough. Maybe I should find my husband and get some more.”

Jade was laughing to herself as Maria walked off. “I can’t believe that is the police commissioner's wife.”

“Men with power seem to drive their women crazy. I have a few scientists doing a study on it, actually,” I teased.

“Really?” she was trying to keep her face serious, but failed miserably. “Are you saying that’s my fate if I stick around?”

“I thought your mind was already made up? Wow, you really know how to wound a guy's ego.”

“Nothing could affect your ego, Oliver.” I had to snort at that. “But if going crazy is the price I have to pay to stay with you, I’ll take it. At least you’re researching it. There may be some hope for me yet.”
