Let Me Kiss You: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance (Let Me Love You Book 4)
Page 10
Even though I wanted to rush things, I realized if Morelli and I made this real, I didn’t want to live my life with a lie. And I cherished my mother too much to keep this secret from her any longer.
I looked at my sleeping beauty, and kissed her on the forehead. I still had the taste of her love in my mouth, and I had a feeling I would be addicted to eating her pussy. It was just so fucking delicious. But in order to present myself appropriately, I’d have to shower everything off and be prepared for the lecture.
After cleaning up, I made my way downstairs. Mom sat on the couch with a cup of tea, watching the news.
“Good morning, Mom.”
She smiled at my entrance. “Good morning, honey. How’d you sleep?” She lifted up her medication bottle, and added, “I took my medicine this morning.”
A proud smile spread across my face. “Thank you, Mom. That means the world to me. I want you healthy and alive when my children are born.”
Her face lit up even more at the mention of grandchildren. “Are you guys going to wait until the wedding, or start now?”
“Actually, if it’s okay with you, we want to head down to the courthouse today and get married.”
Mom looked concerned. “So soon, son? Doesn’t your fiancé want a wedding?” She clasped her hands. “She would look so gorgeous in a Sophia Tolli wedding gown. All that gorgeous hair, that fit shape, and her beautiful skin. What is she again? Italian and what?”
“Italian and Dominican.”
“Fiesty, spicy, and family oriented.” Mom clapped. “I can’t wait.”
“Well, we can have a reception or renew our vows later on. But I don’t want to wait a moment longer,” I said. “If it’s okay with you, I’d love to bring you down to the courthouse as our witness.”
“Certainly!” She started to get up, but I stopped her.
“But first, Mom, I have to tell you something.” The sobriety of my tone forced her to pause.
“I offered Morelli $100,000 to marry me.”
Morelli
Last night was beautiful.
Dom made me wait for him to finish showering, but afterward, he let me have my way with him.
Our sex was full of skin, sheets, and kisses. Dom and I were censored in how loud we could be, but we fucked in almost every position until the sun rose. The more he let his guard down, the more I experienced how erotic and explosive he was.
I awoke, expecting another round, but Dom wasn’t in bed with me. I washed up, threw on a pair of shorts and a tank, and crept downstairs.
I heard hushed voices as I made my way. Being nosy, I decided to stop and see what was happening. Dom and Scarlett were having a talk in the living room. I could hear him confessing everything, including the fact that he paid me to be his fiancé.
“I offered Morelli $100,000 to marry me.”
“Dom, why would you do that?” Her voice was hushed by the scandalous news.
“I knew how much it would mean for you to see me married,” he said. “And Mom, I’ve dated… so many women. None of them were right.”
“Dom…” His mother sighed.
“It’s true.” His voice dropped with shame as he confessed, “Most of them wanted Nick or Kenny, and saw me as this nice guy with rich friends and deep pockets. Morelli was the first woman to show me interest in… forever. I didn’t even know why she liked me.”
“Do you hear yourself right now?”
“I know,” he said, a guilty, heavy sigh. “I just couldn’t understand it. I thought she was too beautiful for a man like me. I was so used to women like her turning me down, or trying to use me like some kind of sugar daddy.”
“Why are you telling me this now?”
“Because last night, I realized that she really wanted me. She really wanted me for me, and wanted us to work. She was actually angry when I offered her money at first; she wanted a real chance at love.”
There was a silent pause before he added, “She actually told me she only accepted because she figured the only way to get me to see things her way, was to play along with my request.”
Dom’s mother sighed. “Lord, lord, lord.” She muttered several things in Italian before speaking English again.
“Honey,” she started. “I am so glad you were honest with me. I wouldn’t have known unless you told me. From what I could see, this wasn’t an act from her. Just from you.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you, Dom. You think a sudden fiancée after breakfast a few weeks ago would just add up? I’m not silly or stupid, son! But I can see she really likes you, so you lucked up!
“Now, getting married just to make me happy is not how you do things, sweetie! Women have feelings, you know, and even if you pay her, she’s not going to want a divorce.”
“I know.” Dom sighed. “I just… what if this is the only chance I have to give you grandkids?”
“That’s not the point. Have you ever really looked at a woman in love?” she said pointedly. “That woman loves you.”
“What?”
“She’s in love with you, Dominic. It’s in her eyes, the way she looks at you. I can look at her and see she’d marry you even without the damn money, you little kookaburra. She’s crazy about you. You’re an idiot if you can’t see the blessing in front of you!”
“She’s right,” I finished, coming down the stairs. “I don’t need the money. You can take it back if you want.”
I walked over to Scarlett and gave her a morning hug. She embraced me with a smile that made me feel wonderful.
“Good morning, beautiful. Hope you slept well?” she asked.
“Yes, wonderfully.” I sat next to Dom, and looked at him, level. “But since we’re coming clean, I want you to know one more thing.”
“What?” Scarlett leaned forward, hands gripping the arms of her seat, as if she were ready to leap forward at any moment.
“I used to dance.”
“Dance?” She looked at me quizzically. Dom drew a sharp breath.
“An exotic dancer. You know… a stripper.”
The room was silent. I held my breath as I watched her. I just didn’t want there to be any more secrets between us. Not if we were all going to try and become a real family. I gave Dom a sheepish shrug. He just froze, looking mortified.
She didn’t say anything for a while, just looked up at the ceiling. She seemed to be lost in thought. Just when I thought I’d blown it, she shrugged.
“You know, if I had a body like yours when I was your age, I’d probably strip also.” She flashed a mischievous smile. “Was it fun? I bet you have tons of stories!”
“Ooooh, I have plenty,” I nodded. I laughed and clapped my hands. Dom and I shared a look. We were both relieved she took it well.
Her face glittered with excitement. “So, you can teach me how to do a few of those little dances with the pole?”
“Mom!” Dom cried out in horror. Scarlett waved him off, and we laughed at his reaction.
“Oh, boy, hush!” She turned to us, pointing a finger at both of us. “The two of you: no more secrets. My poor Italian heart can’t take it.”
“Yes ma’am.”
“Good!” She clapped. “Scarlett, welcome to the family, honey.”
Dom’s Epilogue
One Year Later
“It’s Friday. Stop working. Come home and let’s cuddle and fuck until Monday.”
My wife crooned her desires in my ear, and I could feel my temperature rise. The guys looked at me, their expressions curled with amusement.
“Baby, but I’m at the office. I have to—”
“Go home,” Kenny interrupted. I looked at the guys like they were crazy. We were in the middle of some important negotiations.
“But—”
“Go home, man,” Kenny urged. “Your wife is at home waiting for you, and it’s been eight weeks since Dom Jr. was born. She’s ready for you.”
I began to protest, but Nick called out loudly, “He’s headed home now! Talk to you la
ter!”
“See you soon, daddy.” She giggled before hanging up.
“I can’t believe you guys,” I said. “This deal is important.”
“Nothing’s more important than your wife, man,” Nick said pointedly. “And I already know she’s ready to wear you out.”
I shook my head. “She’s been counting down the days since she gave birth to DJ.”
Morelli was pregnant less than three weeks after we got married. It happened the morning after my birthday, once my mother gave us her blessing.
I was scared at first. Like any real man, I intended to protect the women in my life, only to protect her from everything but myself.
My fear of actually finding love where I least expected it made me believe it was too good to be true, especially since I just couldn’t see why a woman so amazing would want a man like me.
But I had to fight through my bullshit, and at the urging of my mother, who didn’t give a fuck about my wife’s past, and my friends, I learned to stop running from the love I wanted. Once I did, I realized the woman of my dreams was right in front of me all along.
Morelli was everything I ever wanted, and even more than I dreamed I would ever have. She loved to cook, she adored my family, and she dove headfirst into building her marketing and social media business. She loved me completely and unconditionally, even though I didn’t believe it possible, and worked with me when I doubted it all.
The moment I discovered she was pregnant, I asked her to stop being a dance instructor. She fought me with a doctor’s note saying she was clear to dance, but brought on Dazzle, her friend from the club to take over as her tummy grew.
Aside from business as usual, Morelli and I spent our pregnancy with deliberate intentions to deepen our relationship. She had me come to the Lamaze classes, and even an orgasmic birth class. We went to cooking classes, comedy shows, and then to Key West for a babymoon.
As her maternity glow intensified, and her belly swelled with my son inside, I realized an unconditional sense of protection and loyalty reared itself inside me. And when I held her hand, watching her grit my teeth and push out my baby boy, I knew I wouldn’t let her go. Ever.
“My wife is insatiable,” I said. “She just said she wants to fuck until Monday.”
“Give the lady what she wants,” Nick said.
“She’s a beast. She wanted to give me head just days after giving birth. I wanted her to relax.”
“I try to tell these young men,” Nick said, shaking his head. “Consistency will get your dick sucked like it was dipped in oxtail gravy.”
“But—”
“Man, stop complaining and go home… make love to your wife.” He tossed out a business card. “Here’s the number to my nanny. She’s great when you need a full weekend away from the kids.”
I took the card and chuckled. A year ago, I would have never believed the three of us would be married. Yet, here I was, married to the most beautiful, erotic woman on Earth, the mother of my son. And just across from me were my two best friends, each of whom were married to my wife’s cousin and other best friend.
“Later, guys,” I said. “Let me pick up some flowers. See you Monday.”
“Yeah, if you can escape,” Nick snickered. We all laughed. After Dilayla gave birth, she practically locked him inside the bedroom for a week once she was cleared to make love.
Considering that was my wife’s cousin, I could only hope I made it out alive by Tuesday.
And even if I didn’t, I’d still be blissfully happy.
Morelli’s Epilogue
Five Years Later
“Baby?”
“Yes?”
“Come downstairs please.”
I threw on my red robe, short and satin, and slunk downstairs to the living room. Scarlett Genovese, or Scarlet One, as I referred to her, stood in the doorway with her bags.
“Mom!” I cried, rushing toward her. “Oh my God, it’s so great to see you!”
“You too, love.” She kissed my cheeks. “Happy anniversary, sweetheart.”
“Thank you!”
Dom walked toward me, holding a huge bouquet of red roses. “Happy fifth anniversary.”
My face softened as I crumpled into tears from the surprise. I always feared this day would come, and I would cry. But thank God, I was crying for a great reason.
Dom and I wouldn’t get divorced. We figured out a way to make our marriage work, and we were more in love than ever before.
“Mommy!” Dominic Jr. and Caesar, my two boys, ran into the living room to greet me. “Grandma’s here and Daddy gave us money to buy you flowers! You like the surprise, Mommy?!”
I broke down in tears, fat, happy, wet tears, as I looked at my boys. They looked just like their daddy, but they had my eye color.
“Yes,” I said, bending down to hug them. “Mommy is the happiest, luckiest girl alive!”
It hadn’t been easy. There were so many doubts from Dom at first. He thought I would change my mind after the first, and then second child. And when his mother made a strong recovery from her health battles, he thought I’d be happy to fulfill my contract and leave.
It took a lot of work to show him I wanted him, and it wasn’t always fun, but it was worth it. He was worth it.
Women have desires only trust can reveal, and the more I learned to love and trust Dom, the more I knew deep down inside, while our situation wasn’t conventional, it was exactly what destiny ordered.
I knew Dom was the man for me before I could really understand it. But the more we invested in our relationship, the more I discovered my intuition was spot on.
“I told you Abuelita’s magic oil did the trick!” Dilayla said, when I Facetimed her from the bathroom. “That oil gets everyone in our family a husband.”
“Oh gosh, Dee,” I scoffed, rolling my eyes in disbelief. “You really think it’s the oil?”
“Yassss, bitch, yasssss,” she said, emulating Nicki Minaj. “That’s our family secret! Well, that and our genetically great pussy.”
“You’re too much!” I tittered, rolling my eyes. “We’re getting dressed for our anniversary brunch. Are you bringing Nick and the triplets?”
“Yes, girl, I am… these little boys are so bad.” She sucked her teeth. “I can’t believe I’m knocked up again. And the nerve of Nick to give me a set of twin girls.”
“Girls?!” I squealed, rubbing my tummy. “I think I’m having one this time too.”
“Wait—what? You’re pregnant ag—”
“Shh—” I interrupted. “I’m going to reveal it at the brunch. Don’t say shit until I tell everyone. Even Dom doesn’t know.”
“Secret’s safe with me, girl! Let me go. I have to finish getting dressed. Raquel, Dazzle, Bianca… I’ll see all of you in a while.”
“Sure thing.”
I got off the phone and admired myself in the mirror. My stomach was indeed flat; I was only three months pregnant. I hadn’t said anything because I didn’t miss my period until recently. When I went to the doctor, he confirmed I was pregnant again, but I said nothing. I wanted to be past the first trimester and surprise everyone.
Five years ago, I got the opportunity of a lifetime, and I took it. I didn’t know where it would lead, but I knew, deep in my heart, that if I gave my all, I would have it all in return.
I’m so happy I took that chance.
I’m so happy my mother-in-law loves me as much as I love her and her son.
I’m so happy that, at thirty, I have the dirty fairytale I wanted, complete with two little princes, and what I hoped was a little princess, on the way.
Thank God dreams really come true.
