They strolled to the door. It was still beautiful outside. The late afternoon sun kissed them.
“So whassup for the rest of the day?”
Jada shrugged. “I planned on doing some window shopping.” She loved her neighborhood, it was a fun mix of eclectic boutiques, unique restaurants and historic houses. Her rent was sky high, but it was worth it.
Garrett glanced at his watch. “I can hang out for a little while.”
“Oh!” Jada uttered, the comment surprised her, she wasn’t expecting it.
“I don’t want to bother you,” Garrett said, hurriedly. “I just thought—”
“You’re fine, come on.”
Jada led him down the heavily tree lined street. Boutiques selling everything from clothes to furniture filled the neighborhood. They walked along, each comfortable with the silence.
“I really like this neighborhood,” Garrett said. “The vibe is cool.”
“It is. I fell in love with it, the first time I visited it. It’s one of the most unpretentious neighborhoods of Atlanta. I feel so safe here.”
Garrett chuckled. “You sure have strong opinions about Atlanta. Why do you stay here?”
Jada looked at him out of the corner of her eyes, watching the way he comfortably moved in her neighborhood. “Are you kidding me? Look around you. I do bitch about Atlanta, it truly is a love-hate relationship. I love it and right now this is where my heart is.”
They stopped in front of a jewelry shop. The owner had placed pieces made by locals in the window. Silver and turquoise pieces glittered. Onyx and silver earrings twinkled. Garrett leaned down and studied the stunning pieces. “Beautiful,” he murmured. He stood up and fixed Jada with a look. “So you’re thinking of leaving?”
“Yeah, I want to live in Europe, you know, France, Spain, Italy, Venice and so many other places are calling me.”
He grinned to himself. “Italy is cool,” he said thinking of his tryst with the Italian chick. He refocused on Jada and looked at her with new respect. So many people were afraid of stepping outside their comfort zone. Obviously, she wasn’t one of them. They strolled to the next store, it sold eco-friendly candles.
“I need to get a new candle. They have one called rain, it’s so authentic that if you close your eyes, you’d actually feel raindrops.”
Garrett arched an eyebrow. “Really?”
Jada laughed and Garrett liked it, not only did it make her look beautiful, but it was her first spontaneous laugh of the day. “No, but it smells damn good.”
“Lead the way.” As soon as they stepped into the shop the two people behind the counter greeted Jada by name. “Come here a lot?” Garrett asked and Jada blushed.
“Too much.” The entire visit took only ten minutes. They stepped outside. Jada held the newly purchased candle out to Garrett. “Can you hold this, while I stick my money in my purse?”
While they were making the exchange, a man ran towards them and snatched Jada’s purse. The money she had been holding fell to the ground. Garrett dropped the candle. They looked at each other in horror, then at the man who raced down the street.
Jada broke the spell. “That man stole my purse!” she yelled, pointing down the street, but the man had disappeared. She started crying. “My life is in that bag,” she wailed. Then her eyes went wide. “He has the keys to my apartment and my driver’s license. Now he’s going go come after me,” she cried.
Garrett wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “It’s going to be okay. Let’s go back into the store and call the police,” he calmly suggested. He guided her back into the shop. Half an hour later, the police arrive and took her statement.
“I’ll take you home,” Garrett offered after the police had left.
Jada had calmed down, the owners of the candle shop had given her a cup of green tea. “Thanks but you don’t have to do that.”
“I know but I want to. Come on.” They walked back to his car and Jada gave him directions to her place. Garrett parked the car, then rounded it and opened Jada’s door. She was still looking shell-shocked. With the exception of given him directions, she hadn’t spoken much on the ride over. Suddenly a dilemma occurred to Garrett. “How are you going to get in?”
“My neighbor has an extra key. Now I’m going to have to change the locks.”
“You don’t have to stay,” Jada said as soon as they entered her apartment. Fortunately, her neighbor was home.
“I know. But I want to. You’ve been mugged. That’s traumatic.”
“Okay,” she reluctantly agreed. “I guess I’d better start cancelling everything. Um, you can listen to music or turn on the TV. I probably have some wine in the fridge.”
“Hey, I’m a big boy, I can entertain myself, don’t worry about me, go handle your business.” As soon as Jada went into her bedroom, Garrett clicked on the TV and found that she had a premium cable package. He turned on ESPN and settled on the couch, occasionally shooting a concerned look towards her door.
An hour later she emerged wearing a look of determination and a cloak of calmness.
“Everything okay?”
Jada nodded. “I cancelled my credit and debit cards. The new ones should be here soon. I’ll go down to the DMV later this week. And I’ll go the car dealer tomorrow for a new key.”
“And what else?” Garrett prodded.
“What?”
“You’re going to call a locksmith first thing in the morning to change the locks on your door.”
“Yeah, that too.”
“Good. Do you have an extra bedroom?”
“Yeah, across from mine, why?”
“Because, I’m staying the night.”
“You don’t have to stay the night,” Jada said, but secretly glad that he offered. She was terrified of staying by herself, knowing that a stranger was walking around with keys to her apartment.
“I know. But I want to. And the thief has your keys and your address, he could show up.”
“You’re sure you want to?” she whispered. Garrett grinned and her heart fluttered.
“I am,” he said confidently, then stifled a yawn.
“I’m sorry, you’re tired. Let me show you your bedroom. Come on.”
Garrett followed her through the living room and down the hallway. She stopped in front of a door then pushed it open. “This is yours, it also doubles as my office.” She began plucking clothes off the floor and bed.
“Thanks.”
Garrett smiled at her, and her heart and pussy fluttered, she quickly averted her eyes and continued with her mini tour. Jada motioned towards a second door. “Your bathroom is through that door. Extra towels are in the dresser and the TV has cable. I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Cool,” Garrett drawled.
She opened the door and was halfway out when she turned around. “Thanks, I really appreciate you staying tonight.”
“You’re very welcome. Good night.” Garrett glanced out the window, the sun was still out, he looked down at his watch, it was only seven o’clock. He shrugged, turned the TV to ESPN. Garrett yawned again. “This could be a blessing, Antonia wore me out last night.” His date, the Italian beauty kept him up to four o’clock in the morning. He barely had five hours of sleep before he had to get up and get ready for his date with Jada.
Garrett stretched, then began pulling off his clothes. He folded everything and placed them neatly on a nearby chair. He got a fresh set of towels from the dresser and strolled into the bathroom for a shower.
“I’m okay,” Jada said to Devon. “Yes, I cancelled my cell phone.” Jada took a sip of fruit juice and returned the glass to an end table. She stretched out on the couch.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to come over?”
“You’re sweet. But that’s okay.”
“I can you know,” Devon insisted. “I really don’t mind. Besides I know you, you must be petrified sitting there by yourself.”
“Um, I’m not alone.”
“What
? Who’s with you?”
“Um…”
“Garrett? Garrett’s with you?” Devon asked, his tone measured. Mandy had texted him earlier and told him about Jada’s date.
“Yeah,” Jada admitted reluctantly. “He practically begged me.”
“You’re sure it wasn’t the other way around?” Devon asked.
“He’s gorgeous, but not my type,” Jada insisted. “And I’m not his, I don’t have weave down my back or rocking the latest Louboutins.”
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay? I can be there in an hour.”
“I’ll be okay…promise. I’ll sleep with the phone next to me.”
“Cool, I’ll call you first thing in the morning.” They hung up and Jada double checked the locks on the front door, made sure all the windows were closed then turned off all the lights before making her way to her bedroom. She paused outside Garrett’s bedroom, all she heard was the TV.
She turned on her heels and went into her room. Small and cozy, it was decorated to soothe. The primary color, a misty green, calmed her and the accent colors, a bright white and fuchsia energized her. The overall effect worked for her. Jada lit several of the candles that were scattered around her room.
Jada strolled to her bathroom. One of the reasons she got the apartment was the big soaking tub. She lit the candles that surrounded it then ran the water. With a sigh, she sank into the now full tub. “I really needed this.”
It was the blood curdling scream that woke Garrett. He jumped out of bed, it took him only a few seconds to get his bearings then race out of the door to Jada’s room. He found Jada sitting up in bed, the covers had dropped, exposing her breasts.
Jada’s eyes were wide with fear, she blinked, trying to push away the waves of terror. She succeeded, almost, her eyes were haunted. Garrett hurried across the room and hopped into the bed with her. He gently shook her. “Jada.” She blinked, then began fighting him. “Calm down, it’s me Garrett.”
Something clicked in Jada, she snapped into the present. “I’m so sorry. Oh my God, I was dreaming that the mugger had broken in and was attacking me.” She began trembling.
Garrett wrapped his arms around her. “It’s okay Boo,” he said soothingly.
Grateful that it was only a nightmare and that Garrett was there, she leaned against him. “I’m so glad you’re here.”
Garrett pulled away from Jada and looked into her eyes, his gaze slowly eased down to her exposed breasts, her nipples poked enticingly at him, he couldn’t look away. The nipples were dark chocolate colored and the biggest he had ever seen. He imagined sucking them, he licked his lips.
“You sure you’re okay?” Jada nodded, Garrett pulled her close to him, her breasts soft against his chest, he suppressed a groan.
“Me too,” he whispered in her ear. His arms tightened around her.
“Okay thanks,” Jada said, while trying to pull out of Garrett’s arms.
“Where are you going?” he asked, then gently tongued her ear.
Jada trembled, but not from fear. “I don’t think this is a good idea.”
“Your nipples say something different.”
Jada let herself be swept away by her feelings, she reached up and cupped the back of Garrett’s head, pulling him closer to her. “Kiss me.” Garrett obeyed.
He pulled back. “Now I want to taste you.”
He ducked his head and leisurely kissed his way down to her pussy. As soon as his tongue slid into her moist folds, Jada whimpered. Garrett palmed her ass and buried his face between her legs, when he lifted it, he was slick with her juices. He motioned for her to hook her legs over his shoulders. With her legs shaky with desire, she managed to get into the position Garrett wanted. And her hips jumped off the mattress when Garrett zeroed in on her clit. Jada grabbed the sheets and clutched them for dear life. She felt like she was free falling.
“Don’t stop,” she begged. “Oh please don’t.” Just then Garrett hit her sweet spot, he knew that he had by the way her body shuddered. He swiped his tongue over the spot again, then again, he repeated it until she cried out her release.
She stared down at him through sex-glazed eyes, Garrett grinned up at her. “Do you have any protection?”
Jada nodded and motioned toward the nightstand. Garrett rolled to the nightstand. It took him less than a minute to find the box of condoms and even less for him to put one on. “Hands and knees,” he ordered.
Jada looked up at him startled. “What?”
“Get on your hands and knees.” Jada slowly turned over and got into position. Garrett smacked her bottom. “Stick that ass out for me. Put it up in the air.”
Jada inched up. Garrett grabbed her hips and eased his way into her hot pussy. He groaned. “You feel good.” He moved slowly, savoring her tightness, her pussy clung to his dick. He smacked her ass. “Who’s making you feel good?”
“You are!” Jada whimpered.
Garrett increased his speed and slapped her ass again. “Who?”
“Oh God! You are!” she screamed.
“Garrett!”
“Oh shit!” he shouted as he came.
CHAPTER 5
Garrett glanced over at Jada, she was burrowed under the covers and snoring lightly. He tugged on his underwear and strolled to the bathroom. After a quick stop in the guest bedroom for his computer, he powered on his laptop and carried it to the living room praying that Jada had wireless or some of her neighbors that he could steal from, otherwise he’d have to go down to Starbucks a trip he didn’t want to take. He silently cheered when he got a signal and logged onto the Internet. He quickly signed into his blog.
Okay guys be prepared to hate me. Y’all know that I keep it real. Remember that chick I told y’all about last week? Well, I finally got it. Yeah Man! She surprised me, she was a whole hell of a lot freakier than I thought she would be. But she’s the type of lady who’s into relationships, totally not my type. So I’m going to make her breakfast and exit stage left.
Relationships work for some people but not for me. There are too many women out there for me and I want to fuck each and every one. And I plan on doing it, one pussy at a time.
Garrett reread his post, hit the publish button, then powered off his laptop. “Let the hate begin,” he said with a smirk.
Garrett knocked on Jada’s door before pushing it open. Startled, Jada shot up in bed, she clutched the blanket to her chest. “What’s that?” she pointed to the tray Garrett was holding.
“Breakfast,” he announced.
“Breakfast? You made me breakfast?” she asked shocked, Garrett didn’t seem like the type to make breakfast for a woman.
This was the first time he had ever made breakfast for a lady, but Jada was different from the women he usually dated, she was nice. Usually he’d leave right after sex. No cuddling, no talking, nothing. But last night, while holding Jada, he didn’t have the urge to bolt. She had looked so innocent and vulnerable while she slept, qualities he had never seen in the other women he dated.
“I hope you like it, I’ve never made a veggie breakfast sandwich before,” he sheepishly admitted.
“I’m sure it’s fine,” Jada said then reached out for the tray, the blanket slipped down.
“Aw shit!” Garrett felt himself growing hard. “Cover yourself up or I’m going to jump into bed with you.”
Jada jutted her breasts at him. “Come on in,” she said coyly. There was something about Garrett that made her brave…hot…excited. She had never slept with a man on the first date before.
“Here I come,” Garrett set the tray on the nightstand. He gently ran his hands through Jada’s dreadlocks, she smiled at him. She brought her mouth to his dick. Garrett groaned with pleasure.
“Oh baby,” Garrett uttered, his voice strangled. “Your mouth feels so good.”
Jada’s lips tightened on Garrett’s dick. The unexpected suction caused Garrett’s knees to buckle. Jada ducked out of the way before he fell on the bed, narrowly missing he
r.
“Damn girl, you knock me off my feet.”
Jada blushed. “At least you moved to the right position.” He had fallen onto his stomach but immediately turned over to his back. His legs were splayed open and his dick sticking straight up.
She rolled over and eased between his legs. Jada firmly gripped his shaft and swiped it gently across her lips. A dot of cum oozed from Garrett’s penis and Jada eagerly licked it up.
Garrett inhaled deeply when Jada’s warm lips enveloped the head of his dick. She leisurely ran her tongue over his head. Garrett moaned.
“Put it all in your mouth baby,” he begged.
Jada glanced at him. His face fixed in a fascinating combination of ecstasy and agony. “In a minute.” She cupped his balls and gingerly squeezed them.
“Please,” Garrett begged.
“Okay, okay.”
Jada opened her mouth wider and brought Garrett’s shaft deeper into her mouth, he shuddered with pleasure when his dick hit the back of her throat. She continued to squeeze his balls while sucking his cock. She removed her hand from his balls and began circling his asshole. Garrett tensed.
“Don’t go there!” he practically barked.
Jada continued her teasing. “Why, I know you like it.” She peered at his penis, it was throbbing with desire. “It doesn’t make you gay,” she whispered.
“I know that,” he argued, his voice husky. “But I don’t like it.”
