  Margot’s Hunger

Margot Heston and Jake Redman have been red-hot for each other since the moment they met. She loves him deeply but fears that he’ll never make a commitment to a hot-tempered woman.

Jake has been enthralled with Margot since first laying eyes on her while she pleasured herself in her bathtub. He likes a woman with a fiery spirit and enjoys setting Margot off just so he can enjoy the view. But lately he’s worried that she wants a happily ever after ménage like her sister, Summer.

Gil James has always had a soft spot for Margot, but because of his friendship with Jake has kept it to himself. When Jake learns his secret, he wants to give Margot a ménage, with Gil’s help. Is it worth the risk of losing his friend and the only woman he’s ever loved to satisfy Margot’s hunger?

  Chapter One

“Look at those macho men over there. I wonder what Ethan’s talking about that has them listening so intently.” Margot Heston nursed her margarita and watched her boyfriend, Jake Redman, sip his beer at the next table. He looked sexy in a black shirt that was unbuttoned at the neck, revealing a bit of his chest hair. Their friend Gil James was sitting next to him.

Gil and Jake had bonded the previous year, after a bar fight in which Jake, who was drunker than Cooter Brown, had been mistaken for another cowboy. Knowing that Jake had been wrongly accused and outnumbered, Gil had jumped in and evened the odds. They’d been close friends ever since.

Jake had introduced Gil to Margot at a wedding shortly thereafter and the three had been spending time together ever since. At least one night a week they met for supper at
O’Reilley’s then out to The Dancing Pony afterward.

Gil seemed to understand Margot and Jake’s relationship dynamic and she liked his easygoing attitude which balanced nicely with Jake’s teasing personality. In some ways, she enjoyed spending time with him as much as with Jake and missed him when he wasn’t around. Sometimes she felt slightly guilty for how attached to him she was.

Get real, girl. You’ve had a crush on him since the day you met him.

Gil glanced at Margot and she felt heat creep into her cheeks when he grinned and winked at her. Couples passed between their tables to reach the dance floor as a new song started to play over The Dancing Pony’s sound system.

“Look how they hang on Ethan’s every word. I’ll bet they’re talking about sex,” Emma Rivers replied with a giggle.

Maya Warner, Emma, and Grace Warner casually turned and looked at the next table where one of Grace’s husbands, Ethan Grant, was speaking quietly. Kendall Warner, one of Maya’s three husbands, said something, and Jake and Gil paid very close attention to Ethan’s reply. Margot thought they wouldn’t have noticed if their women had paraded through The Dancing Pony buck-ass nekkid.

Maya turned back to face their table with a knowing chuckle and sipped her piña colada with a smirk on her lips. “I know exactly what they’re talking about.”

Grace continued watching Ethan, gasped softly, and then faced the table with her eyes twinkling. “I do too.”

Margot rolled her eyes impatiently. “What? What are they talking about?”

Maya leaned toward them. “I gave Kendall a prostate massage and he said he wanted to find a way to thank me. He must’ve asked Ethan for input.”

Grace giggled and put her hand up to shield her words from the guys. “Watch Ethan’s hands and the way he’s moving them. He’s showing them how to give a woman a squirting orgasm.”

“No shit?” Margot gasped as she watched Ethan closely.

He nodded at something one of the men said. Then he held his left hand out, palm down, while holding the middle and ring finger of his right hand curled up toward the palm and made a vigorous up and down motion toward the palm. As rough as the movement seemed, Margot didn’t think she wanted Jake trying it on her.

Margot choked on her drink when she saw Jake speak up and make a cutting gesture across his throat. She spoke softly so only the girls could hear. “That’s right, studly, you come anywhere near me wanting to do that and I’ll kill you right after I cut your balls off.”

Grace cleared her throat as she watched Ethan dreamily. He glanced at her, and they shared a brief, silent communication. As Grace’s cheeks turned bright pink, he winked and went back to his conversation. “Margot, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. I’m getting hot just thinking about it. If I wasn’t Ethan’s slave before he tried that trick on me, I certainly am now.” Her voice had a breathy quality as she spoke. Margot wished sometimes that she was more like Grace and not so easily riled. Things had been tense lately between her and Jake and she was beginning to wonder if he’d grown tired of her hot-tempered ways. But then there were times when he seemed to delight in setting her off.

Maya signaled to the waitress for another round of drinks and nudged Margot. “It’s a good thing that Emma gave that in-store class at Discretion last week about prostate massage. If Jake gives you a squirting orgasm, you already know how to return the favor.”

Margot recalled the standing room-only crowd they’d had for that talk at the ladies’ adults-only boutique she and her sister co-owned. Women had blushed and whispered with their friends, but the question-and-answer session had been very informative.

Watching as Kendall spoke to the guys again, Margot snorted. “Although I think it’s a fantastic idea for the boutique, I can tell you exactly how Jake would react if I tried to give him a prostate massage.”

  * * * *

“I’m sorry. There’s no way any woman is sticking her fingers in my ass. I’m clenching at the thought.”

Gil chuckled at Jake’s statement and concurred with him, but he knew he’d do anything if the right woman asked.

Jake looked in Margot’s direction and Gil sensed his unsettled state of mind. He’d been glancing Margot’s way all evening and it pained Gil to see his friends at odds. Jake had once told him that he thought she was beautiful when riled. Gil had to agree but thought she was beautiful most of the time and didn’t really see the sense in Jake prodding her just so he could enjoy the view. She’d seemed even easier to antagonize lately.

Duke Rivers rejoined them at the table after a trip to the bar and must’ve overheard Jake’s words. “I was opposed to trying prostate massage before I met Emma. She put to rest all my preconceived notions the first time she did that for me.”

“First time?” Gil asked with a doubtful tone, finding it difficult to equate any pleasure with the prodding exam he’d suffered the year before at the hands of his doctor.

Duke nodded and looked Gil in the eye. “I look for ways to make it up to her. It’s that good. Lucky for me Emma’s a giving woman.”

Kendall leaned forward eagerly. “How often?”

Duke glanced at his wife, whom he shared with his cousin Gage. “Once a week or so, if we’re lucky.”

Kendall rose from his seat. “Holy shit. I’m Maya’s slave. Thanks for the advice, Ethan. Hope y’all don’t think I’m a horndog or anything, but me and Maya are heading out to the ranch right now.” Kendall grinned when they chuckled, grabbed his cowboy hat, and made a beeline for Maya.

Gil let his eyes wander over to Margot and hoped he wasn’t as obvious as he felt. It was hard to see his friends happy in their ménage marriages, knowing he’d never have the same luxury. He’d been fighting his attraction to her since meeting her at Maya Warner’s wedding the year before.

Margot looked beautiful, with her flowing, golden-blonde hair left loose down her back. Gil liked that Margot pampered herself and was a put-together kind of woman. She looked especially sexy tonight in her little black and turquoise blue outfit and her high-heeled boots. He loved when she wore those because they made her shapely legs look so long and brought her much closer to eye contact with him. Not that it mattered. All he’d ever had from her was a friendly hug. He had no choice but to deny the feelings he had for her. She belonged to his best friend, and Jake wasn’t the sharing kind.

Margot giggled at something one of the girls said and he stifled a groan at the sultry sound. Her full, pouty lips curved in a smile that told him they must be talking about something sexy.

Just then, she looked over at Jake, and Gil saw the uncertainty in her eyes. Then her rich, hazel gaze shifted to him.

  * * * *

Margot made eye contact with Gil, surprised to find him watching her, and smiled at him. Gil was wearing a white button-down shirt and a pale wheat-colored straw cowboy hat, in contrast to Jake, who was dressed all in black.

There was such tenderness in his deep green eyes that she felt tears sting in her own. Gil had a way of knowing when something was bothering her, but this wasn’t an issue she could talk about with him. Blinking rapidly, she shifted her gaze back to Jake. She looked down into the margarita glass when Jake glanced her way, hoping he hadn’t just caught her mooning over him, or worse, caught her making puppy-dog eyes at Gil.

Over the last several months, she’d grown increasingly fond of Gil, but lately her thoughts of him had been much more than “friendly.” Her relationship with Jake had been already well established when she’d met Gil, and she never wanted Jake to think she’d leave him for Gil, but she was very attracted.

She’d met Jake the summer before, when he’d been drafted as her bodyguard by the security consultants her sister, Summer, had hired after she was attacked at Discretion. Margot and Jake had gotten off on the wrong foot when he “inadvertently” played the voyeur as she pleasured herself in her bathtub. The attraction between them had been undeniable despite their frequent conflicts.

  Truth be told, both me
n attracted her for different reasons. Gil was so different from Jake. Maybe not in their looks, since both had dark hair, moustaches, and scruffy beards, but the similarities ended there.

Jake was like a lit match just waiting to light her dynamite. They were always in a state of combustion. He was her devil. A fire burned in Jake’s light-brown eyes that made her want to rip his clothes off and have her way with him.

Gil was calming, easy to talk to, easy to be with. Often, he was a buffer for the two of them. He was an angel…but not hers. Looking into Gil’s green eyes was like being enfolded in gentle, strong arms and held safe from every care in the world.

Not for the first time, the image of her with both Jake and Gil flashed in her mind. Surrounded by a veritable sea of ménage relationships, she couldn’t ask for both of the men she wanted most, not at the risk of losing the man she adored even if he did drive her insane at times.

She’d never told Jake she loved him and didn’t know why.

She contemplated Jake’s quiet mood that evening. They usually sat together when they went out, but all the guys had moved to one table while the girls had been dancing to “Something To Do With My Hands” by Thomas Rhett. When they’d returned from the dance floor, the men had all been talking, so they’d taken seats at the table next to theirs. She hated feeling insecure, but he seemed content to stay at the other table. He hadn’t even really watched her while she was dancing.
