The Princess and the Bully (Goldsworthy University Book 1)

She regards me with eyes full of rage. “Stay away from Mera.”
I tip my head down, finding myself amused by her boldness. “No.”
A crowd gathers around us as we block the way, and after a few annoyed whispers, Red reluctantly goes inside.
Ginger giggles and grabs my arm. “That was so great, Callan. Maybe later I can go to AAA and we can hang out.” I wrench my arm out of her grasp and walk through the doorway.
Immediately, I notice Wil’s usual seat is empty. Did she change seats?
And then I follow her friends’ upset gazes from the table behind us to the front.
Wil’s arms are around her shoulders as she nods at whatever Professor Harper is saying.
Long after I’ve settled into my usual seat and the rest of the class has piled in, the professor lets her go. Her eyes immediately find mine and she scowls. Her arms leave her chest as she starts her walk down the aisle to the empty seat next to me.
I’d previously only been able to see the straps of that lacy pink bra of hers with the way Red shoved her out of the way. But now I can plainly see, like every other person in this class, how well it’s holding up those tits of hers.
The very ones that were pressed tightly against my chest a little over a week ago. And though she tried to hide them, I saw those dusky pink nipples when I set her down outside ZDB.
Abruptly, I become all too aware of a problem in my pants. Fuck. I adjust myself covertly and lean back in my seat.
That shouldn’t be happening.
“Oh yeah, take it off, won’t you princess.”
“Is that a designer bra?” a girl asks with a giggle.
I glance up to Wil’s face. Her face is only slightly flushed. She’s hiding her embarrassment well. Next time, I’ll have to step it up.
As she takes her seat, the professor clears her throat. “The next time anyone comes to class ill-prepared, you will be asked to leave and it will be counted as an absence. We’re here to learn, not to find a potential mate. Does everyone understand?”
Beside me, I hear Wil murmur her agreement.
Leaning over slightly, I whisper, “Our game continues now.”
Her mouth drops open to respond, when the teacher starts class, forcing her to close her mouth.
Wil and her friends left as soon as the professor dismissed us. So anxious to get away, that this time I’ll let her.
When I step outside the classroom, Noel, Vincent, and Tyrell are waiting for me.
Noel puts his arm around my shoulder. “Isn’t there something you forgot to tell us, buddy?”
“What are you talking about?” I ask.
Vincent laughs. “You know, you had me fooled there. I thought you wanted Mera to stick around so you could play with her some more.”
“I do. She’s not allowed to leave,” I blurt, looking at him in confusion.
“Except, why would you make a petition to get her kicked out of school if that’s what your intentions are?” Tyrell asks gruffly.
“A petition for what?” I ask incredulously.
Tyrell holds his phone up in my phone, and right in front of my eyes on Booksmarter, the Silverstone school program, is a petition with my name at the top. In big letters, it says “Expel Wilhelmera Karden of Kardenia.”
I didn’t start a petition, and even more ridiculous, to get her expelled from school? No, I want justice from my brother.
I point to the screen. “That wasn’t me. I didn’t do that.”
“It’s linked to your Booksmarter account, dude. It’s definitely you,” Tyrell says.
I click on my name and it goes straight to my profile.
What the fuck?
I pull my phone out of my pocket to check my account and find it pinned to the top of my profile. Created an hour ago.
“I was in class an hour ago!” I yell. “Someone fucking hacked my shit.”
“Well, it’s too late now,” Noel says. “Once you start a petition, it’s locked and can’t be deleted. It has six months to get the necessary signatures. Ten thousand people go to our school so it needs five thousand. It’s at three hundred already. With all the people who liked Heath, I’d say there won’t be any problems reaching five thousand.”
“Fuck!” I yell.
I start down the hallway and a few people give me a thumbs up. A few yell “Justice for Heath.” Goddamn it.
No. I can’t worry about this now. Only a few petitions have ever gotten to five thousand and even then, only two have ever gone through. There’s no way this will. If it somehow reaches five thousand, I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
The next three weeks, Wil ignores me no matter what I do. She had to have heard about that petition, but she hasn’t said a word about it.
I’ve pulled her chair out from under her, and watched that plump ass of hers hit the floor. I’ve stolen her backpack, emptied it and it’s contents. Even tossed it around with my friends who were less than willing volunteers.
She even skips art classes on Wednesday just to avoid me and she’s never worn a white shirt again.
Today I haven’t done anything, yet, but I’m thinking I’ll follow her into the bathroom after art class. I’ve learned that she does it to avoid me after class is over. Art class is one of the later ending ones so there won’t be a ton of people around. No one will hear her when she screams.
The teacher dismisses us from his chair and I grab my bag and follow her quickly. She avoids the line for the elevator, instead heading for the stairs at the end of the hallway. This is new.
A group of girls stop chattering at the corner of the stairs as they notice her approach. The blonde closest to the railing gets a wicked smile on her face, and in slow motion, I watch as she sticks her foot out in a right angle. Wil doesn’t notice, too focused on me at her heels and trips over, losing her footing and tumbling right down.
A sickening thud is heard as she hits the midway point.
And then something weird happens. It crawls up my neck slowly. Then behind my eyes. I feel it. A fuse being lit. I reach the edge of the stairs and look down to find her body crumpled and her clutching her ankle.
“Bitches,” she mutters angrily, wincing in pain.
I turn my head to look at the four of them and the one who tripped her smiles and flutters her eyelashes. “Great petition by the way, Callan.”
One girl backs away with the intensity of my expression. “Do that to her again, and I’ll push you down these same fucking stairs.”
She gasps.
I take the stairs slowly and Wil looks up at me with cautious eyes. I bend down and grab her arm, easily hoisting her up. “Wh-what are you doing?”
“I’m helping you.” I glance down at her blue t-shirt and jeans and find them smudged with the dirt from the floor.
“Just let me go,” she yells, pushing me so quickly I almost let her go.
I tighten the hand around her arm. “You hurt your leg, princess.”
“My ankle, actually,” she says wincing.
“Either you put your arm around me, or I carry you. You have five seconds to choose.”
“I’ll just call Brandie and Jamie.”
“Wrong answer,” I respond, and throw her over my shoulder with one arm and grab her bag with my other.
Behind us, I hear the girls shrieking, way too high at that for me to even begin to understand what they’re saying.
As I carry her out she makes a frustrated noise. “Why are you doing this?”
I pause for a second before answering, “Because my game was ruined.”
“I knew you were going to do something tonight,” she screams.
She’d be no good with me backing her into a dark restroom stall. The ankle pain would be too much and she wouldn’t be focused.
I drop her on the step of her sorority and immediately leave. I’m already past the next sorority when I faintly hear her call out, “Don’t ever do anything like this for me again.”
And I won’t.<
br />
I can promise her that.
I skip Wednesday’s history class and of course she skips art, so the next time I see her is Monday morning’s history class.
As she sits down, I slide a note over to her. She looks a little warily at it for some reason, but then she opens it.
The game continues.
She crumples it and pushes it back to me, turning her attention to the front of the class.
When it’s over, she rushes to get out of her chair without pushing it back in. I slide my chair back cleanly to block her way.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” Red remarks behind us.
Tall Boy comes around his table and stops to my left. “Need something?”
He frowns. “Let Mera go.”
I look as if I’m pondering it for a moment and then shake my head. “Nah, I don’t think I will.”
Wil sighs. “You two go ahead, you have class and I don’t.”
Tall Boy stands firm. “I’m not going anywhere without you, Mera.”
“Sweet, you have a new knight in shining armor now that Heath’s gone,” I say, looking between the two of them.
She curls her lip angrily. “Scar, get him out of here.”
“Let’s just let them talk,” Red murmurs to Tall Boy, pulling him by the arm.
He backs up reluctantly, looking at Wil, a distressed look on his puppy dog face. “Call me if you change your mind.”
As if she’ll get the chance to.
The professor looks up at us after a while with a questioning look, so I finally get up, grabbing her by the arm as I do so she doesn’t try to escape. With my free one, I grab my backpack and hoist it over my shoulder. I drag her out the door and down the hall, as other people watch and stare.
“Where are we going?” she asks with a bored tone in her voice.
“You’ll see.”
We turn another corner and we finally reach a short stairwell. I walk up no more than ten steps and turn the handle, finding it to be unlocked.
A wave of satisfaction flows through me and I grin, turning back to look at her. “Guess it isn’t your lucky day.”
Opening the door quickly, I drag her behind me and out to the roof.
Above us, the skies are cloudy. Now that it’s October, it’s officially fall and starting to cool down. The sun isn’t so relentless up here.
“Put your bag on the ground,” I order.
She makes no move to do so, so I yank it off and throw it to the side. I toss mine on the opposite side.
I move her directly in front of me, holding her arm tightly and backing her up until we’re close to the edge of the roof. “What have you remembered?”
She scoffs. “Nothing. You think if I’d remembered something I wouldn’t go to the police?”
“Why would someone who’s guilty go to the police?”
Something different passes through her eyes. “I’m. Not. Guilty.” She glances away quickly, looking behind her to see how close she is to the edge.
And she’s close, only a few steps more and she’ll be falling over the ledge.
“So there’s nothing you need to tell me? Nothing at all?”
Her eyes widen and she shakes her head. “No.”
I can hear the firmness in her voice. It’s almost believable, but something tells me she’s lying.
What the fuck isn’t she saying?
Chapter Seven
Mera
He frowns and a sadistic smile forms on his face. One that makes me want to run far away and as fast as I possibly can.
If he sees those notes, he’ll think I really am guilty. I can’t tell him.
“I don’t have anything to tell you.” And even though I know his answer will be no, I ask anyway, “Can I go now?”
“No. We’re still playing our game.”
No. I refuse this time. We lock eyes for a moment and in one swift move, I wrench my arm out of his grasp, which hurts like a bitch, and kick my leg out aiming straight for his balls.
He catches my leg just as it almost reaches his crotch.
Shit.
I only have a few seconds.
His right arm is dominant so I go around the left, dodging his arm that extends to grab me. I did it. I got away.
On the way to the door, I pick my bag up by the strap. I don’t need to look back to know he’s on my heels. I just have to push forward harder. The stairs past this door will be a struggle. As I reach the door, I pull it open and take my first step when I feel the pull of something holding me back.
Shit. I clench my fists with frustration as I feel his muscular arms go around my waist and pull me back in.
The door closes with a click.
“Thought you could get away, princess? You’re not as fast as I am.” He pulls my bag off and tosses it to the side.
Clenching my jaw, I try my hardest to push those large hands of his off of my waist. My efforts are for nothing as they stay unmovable. Locked on tight.
He lifts me up, carrying me back to where we were near the edge of the roof. This time he forces me on the ground on my back.
I avoid his eyes, looking at anything and everything, but the fact that he isn’t saying anything is eerie.
I force myself to look up at him and watch in horror as he bends down and brushes his fingers against my gray t-shirt. “I’ve already seen what you look like without this. A lot of others have too. But you didn’t walk around during the day shirtless.”
“Stop,” I mutter, slapping his hand away.
His eyes harden as he reaches down to the edge of my shirt and tugs it off. Immediately, the cooler fall air hits me. He tosses my shirt over his shoulder without a second thought.
“Now for the bra,” he says, reaching his hands forward again.
“No. You can’t. I’ll be suspended.”
He smirks. “Beg me then, princess. Beg me not to take this black lacy bra off.” His hands skate around the edges, moving up the strap.
Gritting my teeth, I look down at the ground. “Please don’t take my bra off.”
“Please…?”
“Please…Callan, don’t take my bra off.”
“Obedience. If only you were that obedient about telling me what you know, then I wouldn’t have to do this.” His hand travels down to my light blue jeans. Fuck, what am I going to do?
With a pull and a zip, they’re unbuttoned and the zipper is tugged down. Automatically, I scoot away from him, but he gets down on his knees, his hands going behind me.
They grasp the back of my jeans and pull them off, tossing them back where my shirt is. He grabs my chin roughly. “And these matching black panties of yours. How badly do you want to keep them?”
He raises an eyebrow as I don’t respond. “Well? Tell me how badly Wil.”
I already had to beg him once, I’m not doing it again. What’s going to happen if I keep giving him what he wants? I can’t just keep giving in to him.
The hand on my chin tightens as I keep my silence.
He chuckles. “Obviously not that much then. Okay, that’s fine.” My heart jumps in my chest as his hand leaves my chin and goes with his other one to rest at my hips where my underwear straps lie. He slowly starts to tug my underwear down and I put my hand on his. “Wait.”
“No, you had your chance. Now these underwear of yours are coming off.”
What?
“No!” I scream. His hand immediately covers my mouth.
“Just so you know, our game won’t end even if you scream, princess. So tell me, do I need to keep my hand here?”
I shake my head quickly before he decides to not give me that choice.
“Fine, I’ll let go, but you scream again and I shove my dick right in, and whoever comes running up here will get an eyeful.” His eyes get a sadistic gleam in them. “They’ll see me fucking you.”
I nod quickly, gulping nervously as he lets go.
I take a deep shaking breath and stare at him. “Please, Callan. Don’t do
this. I need my underwear.”
His cold eyes stay locked on mine for a long time and he doesn’t move. Suddenly, his eyes flash and he pulls me forward so I’m laying flush to the ground. He climbs on top of me and I hear the sickening sound of him messing with his jeans.
“No,” I whimper. “Stop.”
He eyes me for a second with an unreadable expression and then that sadistic smile of his is back. “Fine. I’m not hard any–”
My eyes widen as I feel something stiff against me that wasn’t there before.
“Shit,” he mutters and stands up quickly, turning around. I move to stand up and reach for my clothes when he snatches them away as I’m about to reach them.
There’s an unevenness in his expression as he walks past me to the edge and tosses them over before I can even say anything to stop him.
“What the fuck!” I yell.
“Guess you better go and find those.” He turns away, grabs his bag and leaves. I cross my arms over my chest as some hoots and hollers echo throughout the air.
With a sigh, I go for my bag and dig my phone out. Glad I didn’t keep it in my jeans.
I can’t call Peyton or Scarlett, they’ll both be in class by now. What do I do? Just walk out there like this?
I close my eyes and think but nothing comes to me. I throw my dignity away as I lug my bag on my naked shoulder and exit the roof. I take those stairs slowly and peek around. Wonderful. There’s tons of people around.
My cheeks heat up as I start my walk of shame down the hall. I hold my head up as people sneer and laugh as I walk past. The orange-haired bitch who’s always following Callan around just happens to be in the hallway with her friends.
“Who are you taking your clothes off for now?” she jeers as I approach.
I stop and stare her down. “Why don’t you go find Callan’s dick and ride it to get him off my back? Oh wait, you can’t because he doesn’t want you anywhere near his dick.”
“What was that bitch?” she snaps incredulously.
Her words fall on deaf ears as I continue walking.
“Someone take pictures and sell it to the paparazzi!” a guy yells.
