Born of Darkness: Cirenthian Chronicles (Erotic Fantasy) Book 3 Page 4

by D. R. Rosier

I squeezed her ass firmly and swiveled her hips and started to take her hard and fast. I could feel her generous breasts and hard nipples shaking and rubbing up and down my chest as I took her against the wall. Her legs tightened around me and she bent her head down to claim my lips.

I loved the taste of her mouth, the scent of her, the feel of her skin brushing up against me as I took her hard and fast against the wall. I could hear her heart race and her voice grew breathy as she mewled and moaned as we joined. The intimacy of it was overwhelming, the bond between us both increased the pleasure and made us one.

She mewled into my mouth as her hot tight core fluttered up and down my pleasure. She raised her head and I felt one of her arms move from around my neck. She grabbed one of her breast and fed me one of her nipples. I sucked it in and bit down lightly, she gasped my name loudly and I could feel her body tighten around my invader in response. I continued to suckle and tease her breast with my lips, tongue, and teethe lost in the pleasures of her supple and sexy body as I drove up into her hard and fast.

She said breathlessly, “Goddess Marcus, don’t sto…”

Her voice cut off with her breath as her core tightened around me like a vice, her body trembled against me but I just kept going. She was so tight and milking me so hard as I continued to plunge over and over into her ecstasy that I knew I wouldn’t last long.

Her name slipped from my lips like a prayer as I felt my legs numb and balls tighten. I had to concentrate through the intense pleasure not to fall over and to continue to hold her up as I emptied myself into her grasping tight hot sex.

She chuckled throatily after we came down, “Carry me to the bed love.”

I stole a soft gentle kiss before complying.

As I lay her down on the bed I said playfully, “Anything else I can do for you?”

She nodded, the bright smile she fought to dim gave lie to the mock severity in her voice, “Get your ass in the bed.”

I lay down next to her and pulled her against me forcefully. She seemed startled for a second, but then her body melted against mine like it belonged there. It almost felt like she just surrendered herself to me, I could feel it through the bond. Just like I would do anything for her I was positive she would do anything I asked of her.

I almost asked her what it was about me that instilled that reaction in her and the others, but I held my tongue. I didn’t really need to know. I could guess of course, but women were still a mystery to me, and I imagined if I lived another couple of thousand years, they still would be.

I pushed that thought straight out of my head. I didn’t want to dwell on that, or even consider it. It wasn’t lost on me that so far Ari was the only other one of us with the potential to live as long as I did.

I broke the kiss and couldn’t help but to return her smile. I’d already known her second name, Aine, fire and joy. Her third name meant guardian, which was a perfect description for her. She was as fierce as I was in protecting our family.

I loved the way her soft silky skin and supple body felt against mine. We caressed each other decadently as we talked, both knowing round two wasn’t far off. I loved the way her body reacted to my slightest touch.

Alethea asked, “So what’s next for us?”

I thought about that a bit, “Not sure, back to the capitol I suppose.”

I stole a brief kiss drawing a contented noise from my new mate before continuing.

“More study, business, magic and weapon practice. The Rhimera Empire seems to take slow guarded steps when gaining more land. It could be years until we, along with the volunteers, have to fight them again. I’ve been thinking though…”

She grinned and said salaciously, “About what?”

I grinned, “Not that,” and playfully swatted her ass, “No seriously, I was thinking about visiting here more, maybe every weekend. The idea of spending weeks in one place and then the other isn’t really fair for all of us.”

She nodded thoughtfully, “I suppose leaving Serina for that long wouldn’t be fair, I like the idea.”

We kissed then, and I could feel my body responding to her. She broke our kiss, gave me a naughty grin and started to kiss her way down my body. I reached down and played with her hair as she left a trail of moisture down my body with her silken lips and tongue. She teasingly kissed around my now very hard length and kissed my inner thighs.

I gasped and growled at the same time.

Her voice sounded both amused and sultry, “Did you want something Marcus?”

She drove me crazy. She continued to kiss me everywhere but where I was dying to feel her soft mouth. I was so hard it hurt.

I let out a loud gasp as her tongue teasingly licked my taint and balls. But after a few brief seconds she went back to teasing my inner thighs with her soft lips and hot breath.

I looked down and she was looking up at me, our eyes locked. I’m not sure what she saw on my face but she giggled a little wickedly.

“Did you want something?” she asked in an innocent voice.

  I moaned and whispered, “Please.”

She looked up at me with faux shock on her face as she gripped me at the base, “You don’t want me to put this huge thing between my soft innocent lips do you?”

I groaned and she giggled again, but I sighed in pleasure as she licked my balls again, then onto and up the length of me never breaking eye contact. She licked across the tip collecting the precum and made a satisfied noise of approval in the back of her throat. I watched her as she licked me up and down, clearly enjoying it and in no rush. Her tongue and her hot breath felt incredible along my manhood.

She took her time, still not taking me in her mouth. Every once in a while at a seemingly random moment she lightly stroked me as her mouth and tongue licked and sucked on one of my balls. She was teasing me, but I could tell she was truly enjoying the pleasure she gave me and was in no hurry for it to end.

It seemed like ages before she smiled, “I guess if you really want me to I could try, do you think it would fit? Let’s see,” and she sucked hard on my sensitive tip as she slowly took me into her hot wet mouth.

I gasped and pushed up a little when I felt her swirl her tongue around the tip. Her eyes danced with mischief as she continued to take me in, stroked my base and teased my balls with her other hand.

Second time or not, I lost it at that point. She’d teased me so long and if felt so damn good in her warm mouth as she sucked, stroked, and licked my length I couldn’t hold back the explosive pleasure building in my body.

Her eyes widened a moment when I started to explode in her mouth, but she started swallowing and making noises of approval at my taste. She took her time with it, making sure she got it all before she smiled and crawled back up. I claimed her lips and kissed her deeply. Then I gave her a wicked grin.

She asked with laughter in her eyes, “What’s the evil grin for love?”

I pushed her onto her back and pinned her down, and kissed her softly.

“Because, now it’s my turn to tease you my love,” I said with a voice full of satisfaction.

Her eyes widened a little, but she gave me a daring look, as if to say do your worst.

  So I did…

  Chapter 7

When I got up out of bed around noon to hunt us down some food, I found a package in the kitchen. I’d have to remember to thank Sienna; she left us a good assortment of stuff that would keep. Alethea and I stayed in bed for most of the day, and had no plans to get out of bed until the next morning.

But sometimes life interrupts even in those times you try to shut it out.

We were on round… I honestly couldn’t remember. Regardless Alethea and I froze as the Arinith ward fed us information. There was a large incursion going on at the border to the west, and a little south. The ward was fighting to stop them, but there were too many. We were both alarmed but we also knew whoever they were, they were hours away.

We finished up as quickly as possible, we w
ere already close to completion anyway, and then we took one of the fastest baths I’d ever had in my life, got dressed, and were out the door. Efrain’s house was only a few hundred feet away, so we were there in moments. I’d never been to that side of the forest so it wouldn’t be easy to scry.

  “What’s happening,” I asked.

Ari answered grimly, “Tens of thousands of goblins, thousands of wolves, ogres, and trolls. They seem to be coming from the south western mountains.”

She opened her scrying window to a large size and my mouth almost dropped open. The amount in the forest was actually just a small amount, a few thousand. The width and length of the enemy also went around both sides of the forest which was at least twenty miles wide. Granted, they weren’t packed like sardines, the goblins looked to be keeping their distance from the others.

The wolves were in the vanguard, almost like scouts but I had a feeling that was just a human thought, I doubt they cared for the ones behind them at all, they were simply faster. The trolls were huge, fifteen to sixteen feet high and carried extremely large clubs. The trolls were larger, and more powerful than ogres, but less dangerous in battle, as long as they didn’t get a hit in that is. The ogres weren’t as big, only eight to ten feet, but they were faster and more cunning in battle than the larger and slower trolls.

The ogres also regenerated quickly, not like some fantasy creature on Earth though, they only required a killing blow to be sure of them. Just taking an arm or even a leg wouldn’t take them out of the battle for long.

The wolves looked fierce, almost twice the size of the ones from earth. They also didn’t look natural, as if they had been twisted into what they were. It wouldn’t be a laughing matter to take them in battle either.

Sienna voiced the question on all our minds, “Where are they all going?”

Efrain replied, “It looks like they are headed for the northern mountains, some mass movement. What made you ask that?”

Sienna shrugged, “This looks more like a migration than an attack. Arinith just happens to be in their way. Maybe they’re going where our goblins went.”

  Aja asked, “Where yours went?”

Huh, I guess we’d left that out of our conversations the last two days.

I answered, “All the goblins, trolls, wolves, and ogres that lived in the northern mountains disappeared a few weeks ago. We have no idea where they went.”

I consulted the mental map Serina had sent me so long ago.

“Considering the southern mountains are about three weeks travel from here, it lines up. Whatever caused ours to move had these moving at the same time. Although we don’t know where to or why, but I intend to find out.”

Alethea looked at me questioningly and I added, “We can just follow them with scrying when we go back to Ciren. Hopefully they will lead us to the rest, and we can make sense of it. It’s concerning. Something, or someone has called all these creatures to them, and it looks like every single one of them on the continent is answering its call.”

Ari asked, “How are we supposed to fight them. If we just let them go through I’m sure they’d pause long enough to kill us and destroy our homes. But if we attack we’ll just draw more and more toward us until we are overwhelmed.”

  “Trickery?” I asked.

I got a few looks so I expanded, “I’m not sure yet all what spell magic can accomplish, but can we hide the dwellings and temple with illusion? Modify the terrain to have them pass around the core of the city? Something sneaky at any rate, so we can avoid taking on all of them even if we have to fight some. Those we fought we’d have to make it so their comrades wouldn’t hear, smell, or see them being taken down.”

I shrugged, “If they are just passing through a last stand would be both suicidal and stupid. The Elves make up the Arinith clan, not the damned buildings. If we were under an attack instead it might be different but…”

Ari said softly, “It’s not just us, if they continue on that line they will roll over a lot of farms and even Cliff’s edge before moving into the mountains, assuming that’s their destination.”

I nodded, “I’ll send Serina a message now. We can help the new mayor of Cliff’s edge with an evacuation after things here are settled. There is a good two and a half day’s travel between us and there. We can stop at Steve’s farm and get them going south as well to get out of their path and spread the word.”

I sent the message and then I felt the ward kick in again, new knowledge settled into my mind. We were all to gather in the meadow immediately. We only had a few hours to get ready so I hoped this didn’t take too long as I followed the family out. I was being cautious, even in the excitement of my mating and the approaching monsters I hadn’t forgotten Alton, or even Levi, so I stretched out my magical senses as far as they’d go.

This time Alton was in the field and I kept a magical eye on him. We waited for a couple of more minutes as Elves came running into the meadow from every direction. When it slowed to a trickle Levi got up on the platform. I was relieved when Levi proved as wise as I believed he was, when it wasn’t about humanity at least.

Levi spoke with authority, “The monsters headed this way are not an invasion or attack force pointed in our direction. However it is obvious if they do encounter us they will not just pass us by. I want the children and everyone but the warriors in the shelters. The warriors will remain here in the meadow where we can dispatch teams if necessary.

“I’m going to cast an illusion of impassable land around the city. This should make the monsters veer around to either side, assuming none of them are stupid enough to walk into it. If that happens we shall deal with them quickly and try and prevent the discovery from spreading. The illusion will also cover our scents and any sounds we make, within reason.

“Be silent, be alert and the danger will pass us by. All of the non-warriors please make your way to the shelters now.”

I asked under my breath, “Shelters?”

Alethea nodded. “Earth mages dug out tunnels and rooms that are extremely hard to detect. They are covered with misdirection spells and are almost impossible to find if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. The only easy way to find it is to let the ward guide you there.”

I nodded and blew out a breath. Aja was dragging away Nia, who looked mutinous. She was right at that age between childhood and adulthood, but for her it would last thirty years instead of just three or four. That had to be… annoying for her.

The only problem I could see with the plan is the goblin mages, surely they would sense an illusion if they got close enough. I pumped a little magic into wards around myself and Sienna. Then I added the ward enchantment to her bow and my sword. We still had a few hours; hopefully I would be back up to full before anything happened.

It took a few minutes but the Elves worked out why and what I’d done and started to do the same thing. The meadow reeked with magical power, but the enemy wouldn’t ever be close enough to detect it if the plan worked. Every little bit would help.

I opened up a scrying window, one of the small ones only I’d be able to see, and watched. I’d set it to watch the entire village and a bit beyond. The atmosphere was getting tenser as the enemy closed. It was hard to see the details below the tree tops, but the wolves seemed to be fooled, they split up and ran quickly around the illusion.

The illusion itself was hard to see as well from above, it made the entire village look like a marsh. I imagined the scent of stagnant water was included; otherwise it wouldn’t have fooled the wolves so easily. I had to admit I was impressed, it made me want to study more. I could throw water and air at things and was good in combat, but spells… I only knew a few.

As long as I had nothing to do yet, I focused in on twenty or so of the enemy and started memorizing their faces, just in case we lost track of this huge army of monsters, I’d be able to scry them directly. I built up a few from both sides and the middle, just in case some of them died, or wound up a meal in a wolf, og
re, or troll’s stomach.

I knew a magical message would solidify the images in my mind. The map that Serina had sent me months ago was still crystal clear in my mind when I thought of it. It would also have the added benefit of having others able to track the enemy. So I packed up all the ugly visages in a message along with why and sent it off to Serina, Ari, and Alethea.

I zoomed back out in time to see the trolls and ogres split up, the goblins weren’t that close, but they weren’t that far behind either. I held my breath hoping none of the goblin mages were in the middle. It was a tense moment but the goblins started to split as well, the back of the group following.

I thought I saw one of the groups stop so I zoomed in on the area. There was a goblin dressed much like the others, but a little more flamboyantly with a staff in his hand. He seemed to be arguing with another mage as the soldiers around them fidgeted nervously.

As best I could make out, one of them wanted to check out the magic they detected, the other one didn’t want anything to do with it. I couldn’t really blame him, most of them were passed, apparently the mages were taking up the rear of the huge column.

The second mage shook his head and started marching off to go around the apparent bog. It was hard to follow without any sound, but the first mage sent some of the soldiers toward the swamp.

I zoomed back out for the big picture, most of the monsters were already moving forward again, the city wasn’t all that big after all. There were only thirty or so soldiers and the one mage. The soldier stepped forward and put his foot down in the water. He looked surprised for a moment when his foot stayed dry.

Then I saw the strangest thing. A creature came up out of the water that looked a lot like a crocodile only bigger. The soldier was caught in its jaws and pulled into and disappeared under the water.

It was a very impressive illusion that must have been mixed with some type of physical magic. Or perhaps the ward did it. Whatever it was, it had looked real enough.

The other soldiers glared at the mage and I let out a deep breath when they moved to circle the fake marshland. It was amusing to see they even added another fifty feet or so to how far away they were from it.
