by Gayle Callen
Louisa smiled through her tears. She swept the blond curls off Simon’s forehead, then cupped his cheek, adoring the rough feel of his skin.
“The love I feel for you and this baby—” After his voice grew hoarse, he broke off and swallowed. “Tell me again.”
“Again, my love?”
“Again. Describe everything about him, and don’t leave anything out.”
“You already know he’s perfect, just by being our child.”
“Well of course,” Simon said, smiling up at her. “But I love seeing him through your eyes.”
She leaned down and kissed them both.
Acknowledgments
I’d like to thank Dr. Sean Caples D.O. and Jean Caples, teachers of the blind and visually impaired, for their invaluable assistance on this book. I wanted Simon’s injury and recovery to be realistic, and they answered all my questions patiently. Any errors are mine alone.
