“Congratulations that I retired,” Old Jim butt in. All three laughed.

“He is right, though,” Gary commented as they listed to the speech. “I wouldn’t be here without Jim letting go of his seat.”

Denver then called out Jim to give a speech of his own. Old Jim looked back at Alexa and Gary, gave them a wink and then wobbled his way up to the podium where he began greeting everyone and thanking everyone for attending.

“I’m going to miss that old man,” Alexa told Gary.

“I hear he was nice,” Gary said. “I guess now we’re going to be working together.”

Alexa sipped her wine and looked back at him, “Yes, I guess we are. I hope you got the files I sent in two days ago.”

“I did,” he replied. “I already went through them. You do amazing work. It’s no wonder Jim managed to get by even at his age. You should take some credit.”

She laughed at the suggestion, “Nobody credits the secretary.”

“Secretaries have their own rewards,” Gary said in a sly tone which quickly got her to gaze at him in wonder. “Everyone needs a reward now and then, especially when being as diligent as you.”

“Show me,” Alexa told him. “I haven’t met a single person who knows how to give me what I want.”

Gary smirked in amusement and said, “What do you want?”

Alexa leaned in closer and whispered to him, “Everything.”

  Chapter Three

Out in the parking lot Alexa took Gary’s coat and wrapped it around her shoulders. She tried hard to stop shivering in the autumn cold and when he offered her a cup of coffee she quickly took it and drank.

“Careful, you’ll burn your tongue,” he warned her. “Want a ride home?”

She shrugged, “What about my car?”

“We work here,” he reminded her. “I don’t think the guard will flag us for leaving it here overnight.”

Alexa couldn’t argue with that. She then pointed at his car, a black sports car that probably cost more than her whole house, “Not so subtle, eh?”

Gary chuckled and unlocked the doors, “I always dress to impress and that also translates to my car, my house and what kind of places I go.”

She pondered about that statement for a bit as she stepped inside the passenger seat, “Not going to let the world dictate your limits, that kind of thing?”

He shook his head and said, “I’m just a perfectionist.”

“That’s why you’re the rich boss and I’m the secretary,” Alexa commented. “There is a difference between excellent work and perfect work. For the most part I’m just happy with excellent as long as my boss pays me all the same.”

“I like perfect work,” Gary pointed out. He then smiled at her, “I’m the perfectionist.”

Alexa shrugged back, “My excellent work is better than everybody else’s definition of perfect.”

“And yet still single,” he cut in. He glanced at her as he took a right turn. “How is the perfect girl still single? Is every guy boring or scared of approaching you?”

She caught him glancing at her as he drove and it brought a wrinkle of a smile, “Both, I guess. The smart ones try to impress but they end up falling short and the good hot ones are too scared to talk to me or get into something serious.”

“You’re a girl that lives on the edge,” he told her. “I think I know what can spark some fire in your eyes.”

“You can be the richest billionaire on the planet – which you might be, as a matter of fact – but all that cash isn’t going to buy me what I want,” she promptly stated.

Gary waved a finger in denial, “I’m not saying I can buy your attention. You’re not a cheap whore or anything.”

Those were some strange words to say to a secretary, especially on the first night out following a party celebrating an old man’s retirement. At least he said she wasn’t a cheap whore.

  “So what am I?”

“You’re a girl on top of the world. You need a firm hand. You need a man who can pin you down and take you places you wouldn’t normally risk stepping into. You need to surf the dangerous life.”

“That sounds interesting,” she had to admit. They were finally in her neighborhood and just a few blocks away from her home. “Would you care to show me this dangerous world when we get together in the office?”

Gary did not immediately reply. He just smiled and kept his silence as he slowed down and followed her hand gestures to find her place. When he finally parked in front of her driveway he turned to her and said, “We’ll need to go to my other office in order to fully explain.”

  Chapter Four

“Here are the documents you requested,” Alexa told Gary a few days later as she handed him a stack of papers. “I got the petition files you asked for yesterday and all the records of the elderly patients in that hospital from downtown are in there too.”

He looked up from his computer screen and smiled back at her, “Thanks. That was quick.”

“I just don’t like sitting by idly,” she replied.

“Well, we still have an hour before we can leave this place. Care to spend it here with me?”

Alexa shrugged and took her business coat off, placing it on top of a spare chair next to his desk. She then dragged it beside him and sat there with Gary, “I got nothing better to do. So, are you going to let me in?”

  “In on what?”

She nudged him with her elbow, “You know, that dangerous life thing you mentioned that night after the party.”

His eyes lit up with excitement. He then looked around the office, “You don’t think anyone is going to walk in here, right?”

“Not without calling my desk number first,” she told him. “My extension comes before yours.”

  “Good, scoot up here.”

Alexa grabbed her seat and inched closer to him. She watched patiently as he took out a key from his wallet and fumbled with his desk drawers. It took him a while but she waited quietly. As he moved around she couldn’t help but notice he had a tattoo hiding underneath his collar, at the back of his neck. She could also tell he was pretty muscular judging by the way his clothes rippled and folded around his body. It almost got her excited to see what he looked like without his suit on.

“Here,” he whispered as if he was keeping a deep, dark secret. He unlocked the bottom-most drawer and after fumbling about for five minutes he pulled something out. It wasn’t exactly what she thought it would be.

Alexa expected a condom. She expected a skimpy dress he’d make her wear. She expected a bottle of champagne or lacy underwear or a sex toy. Instead, he pulled out a black blindfold and handcuffs with pink fur.

  Her jaw dropped.

“Never worn these, before?” he asked.

Alexa shook her head. “Never met a boy as bad as you.”

“Dangerous,” he muttered softly as he passed them to her, allowing her to get a real feel.

She liked how soft the cuffs felt. They didn’t feel anything like the cold, metal cuffs police officers use during arrests. Maybe they wouldn’t be too difficult to wear. It would make things extra exciting as well.

“Just for the record,” she finally managed to say, “I’m not going to be some kind of slave like in those weird porn videos. Or that horrible movie with Elle Fanning.”

“Playing with the dangerous nightlife isn’t about pleasing me,” he told her. “It’s about exploring your limits and getting high on dancing with that risk.”

“So you’re saying that by submitting, with my eyes blindfolded and my hands tied down, I’m the one being rewarded and not you?”

  Gary nodded.

“How did you get into this kind of stuff?” she just couldn’t stop the questions from flooding out of her mouth. “Why did you get into this kind of stuff? You’re a billionaire under the age of forty.”

“You expect me to be like Bruce Wayne, screwing random girls every weekend and masquerading as a vigilante at night?” he responded. He did have
a point, however. When you’re that rich you need to get a hobby or get bored doing nothing with all the money.

Alexa still wanted to unravel the mystery, “That’s not a legit answer.”

“My first time was when I was seventeen,” he finally explained as he leaned back on his chair. “She was this smoking hot girl from Hong Kong and we were spending time together at a tennis club. We were out drinking, having a good time and then we ended up back in my room. She took my belt, asked me to tie her to the bed posts and take charge of things.”

  “Never looked back ever since?”

He shook his head, “I don’t regret it. It’s brought a strange sensation for me. I like it.”

  “Torturing hot girls?”

“Giving girls a sense of elation,” he corrected. “There’s nothing like fucking a girl already high on lust.”

His words were digging deep into her mind and that bothered her. Why couldn’t he just be a simple idiot like Josh? Why didn’t he just ask to buy her a dress, drinks and then fuck? Why couldn’t he just be the kind of guy who would promise to make her life better with all his money and then leave her after fucking for a few nights in a row?

Why was he becoming so intriguing and fresh and dangerously seductive?

Alexa found herself getting wet in anticipation, just from thinking about what all this could be like. She pictured herself, just for a moment, lying on his bed with her hands tied behind her back and him pulling on her hair as he plowed his way into her, smacking her ass.

“Care to give it a try?”

She was taken aback and looked at him in shock, “I am not fucking my boss.”

  “No penetration,” he told her.

That’s supposed to be comforting? Yet it was also weird. “No penetration? Really? You got a girl tied down and helpless and you’re not going to fuck her like there’s no tomorrow? What kind of fun am I going to get then?”

He only gave her a sly smile and then whispered into her ear, “If I get you to cum in under ten minutes, you have to do it again tomorrow. If I get you to scream for more, you have to do it again for the entire week.”

  “That a dare?”

  “It is.”

  “Done.”

Alexa didn’t know what to expect but she was genuinely interested. Her new, hot boss was inviting her in for something risky and exciting but in return she might never get a chance to walk away from it.

What the hell. I can’t possibly lose control without him actually thrusting it in.

  Chapter Five

The rest of the hour felt like a lifetime for Alexa. Although she still buzzed around the office carrying documents and filing schedules the only thing stuck in her mind was Gary’s sinister plan for her. It was like one of those novels she read except this time it was for real.

It couldn’t be that bad. He did promise he wouldn’t stick his dick into her no matter what and it was only going to be for ten minutes. All she had to do was hold on and not let herself lose control. If she reached her orgasm then he would win.

When she thought about it she realized there wasn’t really any victory for her. If she cummed then she’d feel pleasure but then she’d have go with him again the very next day. If she didn’t cum then she’d feel a little empty inside and might beg him for more, which would mean she’d have to go with him for the entire week. During that period she could very well lose all control.

It was a dangerous little game but the thrill made her smile. She could feel the knot forming in her guts and it was her instinct telling her that this was a leap of faith so big it might change the direction of her entire life.

“Fuck it,” she kept on telling herself as she tried to finish the rest of the work hour.

When work was done and she was ready to go, she found Gary was already waiting for her outside the office lobby. She knew he was waiting for her but she didn’t exactly want her officemates to see her casually walking up to him and joining him in the elevator to the parking lot. Gossip can fly quickly in their environment.

Gary didn’t care. He waved at her, with his hand up in the air, like they were best friends. Alexa tried to hide her blushing cheeks with her hair as she hurried down through the hall, past the office stalls and then went past him straight into the elevator. Gary chuckled and quickly joined her right before the doors were closing.

“Don’t do that,” she told him.

  “Don’t do what?”

“Just be professional,” she scolded him but he only smiled back at her.

Gary didn’t say another word as they walked through the basement parking lot. She just kept on walking, a step or two behind him, as he led her to his car. Fortunately, no one else was in the parking lot to see her get into the passenger seat. The moment the door closed and she was in his vehicle without anyone taking notice, Alexa let out a loud sigh of relief.

“Does it matter?” he asked her right as he locked his seat belt in.

  “Huh?”

“Does it matter whether they see you hanging out with me, riding in my car?”

Alexa looked at him and nodded, “Of course it does. I don’t want the whole office to think I’m just whoring myself out to the boss.”

“Well, you can’t really do that because it would require me to promise you some kind of promotion. When you’re already the assistant to the most powerful figure in the company other than its founder I don’t think you can climb any higher. Well, unless I die and you take my spot. If I do, please don’t get some idiot hunk to be your secretary.”

“I don’t know,” she teased, “I might want some muscle-bound moron walking beside me all day in the office. Maybe we can sneak in a quickie during our lunch break.”

Gary laughed and started to drive. For the majority of their time on the road, they mostly talked about work. It was all casual talk and the thoughts of what Gary had planned for her were receding into the back of her head.

“What kind of music do you like?” he asked her right as they passed the train station. They were nearing the executive corner of town.

She shrugged and answered, “Mostly stuff from the 1970s and 80s. Duran-Duran, Roxette, The Smiths.”

“I never figured you were into that stuff,” he commented. “I always thought you were into the new stuff.”

“I don’t even know who’s popular right now,” she explained as they began passing by large houses. She knew they were getting close to his place. “The classics are all I really need. I don’t mind the new songs, just so you know, I just don’t really take time to listen to the radio or look them up on YouTube or whatever. What about you? What are you into?”

He glimpsed at her quickly before turning his attention back to the road, “Me? I have a weird thing for orchestral music.”

  “Beethoven?”

“No,” he replied as he took a right turn and started going up a hill. At this point there were very few houses but they were all large manors with even larger land surrounding them. “Movie soundtracks, video game orchestral pieces and things like that. They evoke some kind of story for me, in my head.”

Alexa loved that answer. She may not have known him for very long but his taste in music and his reasons behind it told her so much about his person in ways words could not really explain. It gave her a warm feeling inside and for a moment, ever so brief, she pictured going out with him on an actual date.

That feeling quickly eroded away when they drove into the driveway of a very large manor. Right as they parked in front of oak double doors an aged butler hurried to open the doors. The old man even took her hand and assisted as she stepped out of the car.

“Thomas, meet Alexa,” Gary quickly introduced. He then looked at her as they began walking up the stairs and into his home. “He’s been the family butler since I was young. You ever need anything and he’ll attend to it as soon as possible.”

“Good evening, ma’am,” Thomas greeted right as he opened the doors.

Alexa smiled back at him and tr
ied to hide the anxiety consuming her.

Inside, the house looked like it was lost in time. She expected a modern house, something either so cozy or so cold and rigid but instead she found the décor more akin to that of a 19th century, Victorian era manor. It had a strange and unique elegance that made her feel like she was walking into a very delicate home.

“Wow,” was all she could muster as she stared at all the rare porcelain, the white oakwood furniture and the numerous glass displays. Gary did not seem to pay any heed to her awe as he continued to lead her through the halls. Thomas had split off from their path and she last saw him go towards what could have been the kitchens.

“How many people live here?” she asked Gary right as they started heading down a flight of stairs into the basement.

He looked back at her then answered, “One. Just me. Thomas and the others leave past eight o’clock. They have a separate building across the garden.”

Gary then paused as he reached the basement door. He then turned and faced Alexa, “You ready?”

“No,” she told him honestly. “But who the fuck cares, right? Let’s do it.”

His smile was ear to ear and without a word he opened the door.

  Chapter Six

The room was elegant and clean. She saw a single bed, king-sized, with the most beautiful sheets and duvet. There was no other furniture save for a stool, a chair and a bedside drawer with a small lamp. The floor was covered in a beautiful dark red carpet. When she looked at the walls, she found they were all covered in mirrors. Everywhere she looked she found her reflection staring back. When she looked up, she gasped in surprise to find even the ceiling had mirrors.

“In here, there is no escape,” Gary whispered. He took her by the hand and led her to the eastern wall. Only upon closer inspection did she realize the wall had a built-in cabinet. She watched as he unlocked it swung its doors open.
