He woke early the next morning and prepared for his classes. He showered, shaved, and brushed his teeth. While dressing himself, he noticed a ring sitting on his dresser. He picked it up and examined it carefully. The band was gold with a diamond mounted by four clasps. He held the band up to the window. The inscription read, “To my beloved, Love, Joseph.” Hank gasped, “Creeping Moses, she’s found it.”
