“Ryan, please move. I can’t… can’t wait.” Shannon having a hard time expressing herself in the firestorm of passion and need overtaking her.
He started to move his cock in and out of her pussy in time with the finger in her ass. He reached out with the other hand and squeezed her breast, pinching her nipple. He felt his balls tighten painfully and knew he was a goner. He moved faster, needing to come now himself. “Now, baby. Come with me now.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, both of them came with shouts. He looked down into her blue eyes, still filled with all passion and emotion. He pulled out of her slowly and gathered her into his arms and held her tight. With a chuckle, he ordered, “Don’t you fall asleep. I’m not done with you yet.” Shannon just turned to face him and smiled as she cuddled into him.
“I love you. You’re the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. I’m glad my friends talked me into this vacation.” Looking into her face, he could see all the love in her eyes. “When Tom died, I didn’t want to feel that pain again. I built a shield around my heart until I saw you at the diner and felt the crack. I never thought I would find love again. But I did, with you, and this ranch.”
He placed a kiss on her forehead and breathed in that delicious scent that was Shannon. “After everything that happened with my ex, I closed my heart, too. Seeing you, I had to talk to you, get to know you and just be close to you. Your eyes drew me to you. Never did I believe that I would say to anyone that I loved them. But, you changed everything. I’m living again and loving again. I love you, baby.”
He rolled Shannon to her back and slid inside of her for the second time that night. I’m going to make love to her slowly and passionately. Being inside her is coming home.
Life with Shannon is going to be heaven on earth. He could see their lives together, working on a ranch, with his sons by his side, and coming into the house to the woman he loved and who loved this ranch just as much as he did. Ryan felt blessed and fortunate.
EPILOGUE
Eight months later
Bianca sat at the front table with her daughter, Mia, while they watched Shannon and Ryan speak their vows. Shannon looked stunning in her light blue dress, and Ryan wore dress pants with a fancy western shirt and his Stetson. She wondered if he ever took his Stetson off. In fact, looking around, every man there wore a Stetson.
Shannon’s son, Dylan, gave his mom away and, boy, didn’t he look handsome in his dress uniform. Her daughter, Alexis, and Ryan’s daughter, Carly, stood next to Shannon. Ryan had his sons with him. Mia was the flower girl and looked adorable in her pale pink dress. Bianca was overjoyed for Shannon and Ryan. Both of them looked so content. So why was she depressed and wanting to run off and cry? Because this is what I should’ve had with Scott.
She moved out of Shannon and Ryan’s house and into an apartment in town. Frank even hired her at the diner and didn’t mind Mia coming to work with her. She loved to go to the diner and help show everyone to their tables and hand them menus. When Mia needed a nap, she would go into the little office Frank had in the back and sleep on the loveseat he had. Frank and Nell loved having her around, and acted like her aunt and uncle.
Scott was the problem. Bianca feared him and what he was capable of doing. He had a violent temper and wanted everything his way…or else. He didn’t want Bianca from the moment she’d gotten pregnant. He even went as far as to blame her for the pregnancy. His mother had found out about Mia, and now demanded Scott to get full custody. She wouldn’t lose her child.
So Bianca ran to Montana. Her brother and sister-in-law didn’t even know where she’d gone. She only left a note saying why she left—not telling them where—and that she would be in touch. It took Bianca almost two months to call her brother and, when she did, he was frantic to know what happened, where she was and why. Scott was looking for her now, after all this time. Bianca only would tell him what was going on, but not where to find her. Only that she was okay and safe and would call him back next month. Well, it had been four months and she still hadn’t found the courage to call her own brother back. She missed him so much. After the death of their parents, they only had each other.
Problem number two came in twos: the twins, Max and Mitch. Who were now looking at her, and not Shannon and Ryan. Bianca was so busy thinking of everything else, she didn’t notice her daughter now sitting on Max’s lap. They played with her stuffed black bear that they got for her. Mia loved the bear and took it everywhere with her. God, even her own daughter was fascinated with them.
The wedding and reception were being held at After Hours. Shannon’s friends had one table and Ryan’s friends had a separate table.
Shannon and Ryan got to Bianca, and she gave them both a hug. “Both of you look great. It was beautiful. Congratulations to you both!”
Both of them said at the same time, “Thank you.”
Shannon leaned in to whisper into Bianca’s ear, “Looks like Mia found two handsome cowboys. But I bet they’re also interested in her mother. You think?”
“Shannon!”
“Just saying. Go for it, Bianca. I want you as happy as I am.” Shannon hugged her friend, and Ryan guided her over to Lisa next.
When she turned, Max and Mitch stood in front of her. “I believe I have someone who is hungry. I’m not sure what she’s allowed to have.” Max looked from Mia to her as he bounced Mia in those massive arms.
Mitch placed a hand on her upper arm. “We’ll have to change that. We need to know what she can have and if she is allergic to anything.” She must have had a surprised look on her face. “Don’t look at me like that. This will happen, Bianca. We want you and Mia. What are you so afraid of?”
That was the problem. She wanted them just as badly. But Scott would find her, and then what? Oh, I am in sooooo much trouble.
