Naughty Girl

by Wolf, Alex

When I turned around, Hayes was inches away. His hands found my waist and pulled me close to his chest. His mouth slanted over mine, and he damn near kissed the breath right out of my lungs.

“I’m sick.” I pretended to try and push him away, but we both knew it was an act.

He smirked against my mouth. “Sure you are.”

We walked over to the couch and he pulled me into him, my back to his chest, his arms around me. There was no arguing in the moment. It all just felt right. We sat there and watched The Walking Dead that was still on the TV. Eventually, we both fell asleep.

  * * *

An hour later, I woke up and Hayes’s arms were still wrapped around me. I turned my head to the side and looked over at him, just watched him while he slept.

His lips slowly curved up to that devilish grin of his. “You staring at me?”

I sat up against him. “Maybe.”

He slowly pried his eyes open and laced his fingers through mine. Our lips met. It wasn’t a passionate kiss, just a normal, hey-honey-I’m-home-from-work type of kiss.

I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I wanted him to stay there for the rest of the night, but he couldn’t. My life needed a road map. I needed to think through all of this, and figure out what I wanted. It was all just—dangerous. Feelings were getting involved, and it was more than just sex.

  “You should get going.”

He pulled himself up and frowned. “Kicking me out?”

“I need some rest. So do you.”

“I can get rest with you. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.”

I cocked an eyebrow up at him. “We won’t get rest if you stay.” I stood from the couch. “Thanks for the soup. And for this, really. It was nice.”

He stood up and stretched, then leaned down to my ear. “I’ll do anything for you.”

I wasn’t sure, but I thought my heart tried to skip a beat. I could tell when Hayes said things, he meant them. And he meant every word of what he’d just whispered in my ear.

We walked to the door and I leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. “Goodnight, Hayes.”

“Night.” He turned the handle and opened the door.

Hunter stood there, glaring lasers at both of us.

  Hayes

What the hell are you doing here?” I stared at Hunter.

“Could ask you the same question.”

“What’s it look like? We’re hanging out, and you’re not welcome.”

I started to shut the door in his face and his forearm blocked it.

“I need to talk to her. Alone.”

“Oh bullshit. Not gonna happen.” I closed the distance between us, until we were chest-to-chest, nose-to-nose.

He looked right past me, like I didn’t even exist. My hands squeezed into fists at my side. It took everything I had not to lay him out. If he wanted to go after Rory, fine, but he could do it on his own time. This was some kind of bro-code bullshit that he lived by, and he was pissing all over it.

I leaned down to his ear, whispering where Rory couldn’t hear, “So desperate, little brother. Even I didn’t think you’d stoop this low.”

“Fuck you. She’s not a prize. Not some game.”

“You shouldn’t have treated her like one, and maybe you’d be in her house right now instead of me.” I leaned back and shook my head at him. “Wasn’t hard to sit back and wait for you to fuck up.”

“I need to talk to you.”

“So talk.” Rory folded her arms over her chest.

“Not with him here.” Hunter gestured toward me with his head.

“No, Hunter, you don’t get to make demands. If you want to talk, you come inside and do it in front of Hayes.”

  * * *

Five minutes later, I stood there, glaring at Hunter. I had a feeling he’d fucked Rory, but hearing it out loud made my blood boil. I was still in shock he had the balls to admit all the shit he’d done, with me in the room.

“I didn’t sleep with her. She just showed up out of the blue.”

“Yeah, I bet your ex just showed up and you passed on a piece of ass. Nice try, Hunter.” I shook my head at him.

“Fuck you.” He pointed a finger at my face.

“I never meant for this to happen.” Rory’s voice was shaky. “I don’t want you two to fight over me.”

I turned back to her. For some odd reason, I felt compelled to hold her—tell her everything would be all right.

I was no longer able to do that, though, because I didn’t know if everything would be all right. It was clear that she was more than just a fuck buddy with Hunter. There actually seemed to be feelings there. It was too much to take.

I was falling for her, and she was unsure.

“So, what the fuck is going on here?”

I shot him a look. Rory was on the verge of tears and he was demanding answers.

  “What?” He glared at me.

“She’s about to cry, and you’re being a fucking dick.” I stepped up in his face. “It’s going to stop, now.”

Rory stared back and forth at us. “I just—I need time. I don’t want to come between you two. Please, don’t make me choose. I just want to be alone right now.”

I turned to her. “Not gonna happen. I’m not leaving you alone right now.”

“That’s not good enough.” Hunter stepped toward Rory. “I have feelings for you. You knew that and fucked my brother. Do you know how that makes me feel?”

“Do you know what it feels like to watch women parade in and out of your house? In front of people?”

“Hunter.” I ground my jaw as I growled at him.

He stared back. “Don’t even start with me, bitch. You knew I liked her from the beginning. You told me to stay away while you were fucking her.”

“You like anything that wears a skirt.” I rolled my eyes.

“Please, just stop fighting. Both of you.”

I shook my head at Hunter then looked at Rory. “I don’t want you to feel forced into a decision. I like you, Rory. And I’ll leave as soon as he does. But, I’m not leaving you alone with him.”

She glanced back and forth at both of us.

It was difficult to process the fact that it was even a decision she had to think about.

“Oh what? I’m a threat to her? More like to you. Fuck off, Hayes.”

“I will. As soon as you’re gone.”

“Please, just go, both of you. I need to think.”

Hunter glared the whole way to the door. “You need to make a decision, soon.” He opened the door. “Don’t fuck it up, Rory.”

I turned to her. “Do what’s best for you.” I walked over and brushed a kiss across her cheek.

I didn’t give a fuck if Hunter saw it or not, I hoped he did. I needed Rory to know I wasn’t upset with her. Yeah, I was a little surprised she’d fucked Hunter, but it seemed more like misfortune of timing than poor decision-making on her part.

As for him, he was a fucking idiot, as always.

I left the house and Hunter followed me to my car.

He walked up, even though it was obvious I didn’t want to hear any bullshit he had to say. “When I pulled in and saw your car, I thought I was seeing shit. I’m a little impressed you took a shot, but you’re out of your element with this shit.”

  “We’ll see.”

He shook his head. “A kiss on the cheek, and you act like that’s going to win her over. You’re hopeless.”

I should’ve got in the car. Should’ve driven away. But instead, I walked slowly to Hunter until I was inches from his face. “More like being balls-deep in that sweet pussy, that you’re never going to experience again.”

He shook his head. “So full of shit.”

“I ever lie to you before?”

His face tensed. “Stay out of my fucking way.”

“You’re gonna get run over, little brother. Like you have your entire life, since we were kids.”

He threw up a middle finger, but n
ever turned around.

I wasn’t concerned at all. Rory was a smart woman. She’d sit down, compare the two of us, side-by-side. Hunter didn’t have a chance in hell.

  Rory

It was like a bad dream. I couldn’t believe both of them just showed up like that.

The rest of Friday night and all through Saturday, I thought about what I wanted to do. I liked both Hayes and Hunter for different reasons. Part of me just wanted to quit my job and move away. I didn’t want to hurt them, and I didn’t want to make things more difficult at work.

After dinner on Saturday, I had a decision in mind. I just wondered how they would feel about it.

I texted them both to come over.

They both immediately messaged me back, saying they were on their way.

  Hunter was there first.

  I opened the door. “Hi.”

“Hey.” He smiled and kissed me.

I didn’t pull away. It felt so right with him, but I knew it’d fade as soon as Hayes got there.

His hands slid to my ass, and a shiver ripped up my spine.

  “Wait until Hayes gets here.”

His face tightened. “What the hell is he coming for?”

  “Just be patient.”

A few minutes later, Hayes showed up. He greeted me with a kiss also, and Hunter’s face turned red and a tiny muscle ticked in his jaw.

We all walked into the living room.

They both took a seat and I remained standing.

I took a deep breath. “I umm, I invited both of you, because it’s impossible to make up my mind. I really like both of you, for completely different reasons. And, umm—”

“So you haven’t decided at all?” Hunter rested his elbows on his knees and stared up at me.

“I, umm, I want both of you.”

Hayes and Hunter stared at each other, then back at me. “What?” They both asked the question in unison.

“I mean what I said. I want both of you.”

Hayes snickered. “What?” He took a deep breath. “How the fuck will that work?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I just don’t want to give up either of you, and I don’t want to hurt anyone. So it seems like the only logical option.”

“I want you.” Hunter stood up. “I don’t want to think about you anywhere near him. I don’t want to share. It’d be weird. I mean, what the fuck?” He paced back and forth, but didn’t leave.

“Okay, well if you don’t want to do it, that’s fine. But, it’s what I want.”

Hayes stared off at the wall.

I expected him to be the one with reservations. He was always more in control, but I figured in due time he would come around. He wasn’t saying anything.

“So, is this the only option on the table?”

I turned back around and nodded. “I don’t want to come between you two. But if you share me, you both get me. And everyone is happy.”

  Hayes looked at Hunter. “Well?”

Hunter arched an eyebrow, and chuckled. “What? You’d go for this?”

  “If that’s what she wants.”

Hunter then turned to me and shrugged. “Fuck it. Wouldn’t be the first time.”

  Hayes rolled his eyes.

I stared long and hard at Hunter.

I shook my head. Part of me didn’t think there was a chance in hell they’d go for it.

Suddenly, my stomach filled with butterflies, and I found it hard to believe.

Hayes walked over and planted a kiss firmly on my lips. I could sense his eyes on Hunter the entire time, almost like he was staking his claim. They were both so territorial and possessive, and it should’ve turned me off. But, for some reason, with the Hawthorne brothers, it didn’t.

  Is this really happening?

  * * *

We all decided we should go home and think about it and meet the next evening at Hunter’s house, after we were sure it was what we all really wanted.

Anxiety coursed through me the whole day. By the time I got to Hunter’s place, I was on the verge of backing out. I didn’t know if I was excited or having a panic attack. Maybe both.

Hayes’s car was already in the driveway.

The guard opened the gate as soon as I pulled up this time. I took a few deep breaths before getting out of the car and then nervously walked up to the door.

How was it going to work? What was going to happen?

The one thing I didn’t want, was for one of them to think I was giving the other more attention. That could breed disaster.

Hunter came to the door when I rang the bell. He smiled and looked sexy as hell. He wore jeans and a tight v-neck that clung to his abs. I wanted to reach out and touch him the second my eyes met his body. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the house. I dropped my purse as he kissed me. It was warm and inviting and just felt, right.

  “You look fucking hot.”

I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt too. I figured they’d just end up on the floor anyway. “Thanks.”

He led me into the living room. Hayes stood up from the couch. He glanced at me, and I thought I might pass out.

  You can do this.

  “Hi.”

“Hey.” He took a step toward me. “You look gorgeous.”

He closed the distance between us and kissed me. It was far more passionate than I was expecting, and I caught his eyes staring at Hunter. The competition had already begun, it seemed.

We finally parted, and I leaned back, stumbling a little.

  “Thanks.”

“Want a drink?” Hunter strode toward the bar.

“Yes.” I realized how quickly I’d answered, and schooled my features. “I’ll, uhh, have whatever you’re having.”

  I glanced over at Hayes.

  “How are you doing?”

  I sighed. “I’m okay. You?”

“Sure you want to go through with this?” His words came out like he was totally confident, and I was getting into something over my head.

Hunter came back and handed me a glass of wine.

I took a slow sip. “I think we need rules.”

Hayes glared. “I don’t do rules.”

Hunter looked over at him like he wished he’d said it first. “Me either.”

I shook my head. “I don’t want anyone getting jealous when we do this.”

Hunter and Hayes each looked at one another.

Hunter smirked, as if we were talking about him. “Got it.”

Hayes walked over toward me, clearly irritated about having to wait. He stared me down, and took the wine glass and sat it on the table.

My heart sped up at the look in his eye.

“I go first.” He pulled me into a kiss, and his hands gripped my ass.

I turned to Hunter as Hayes sucked down my neck. “Is that okay?”

His jaw clenched, and his eyes went down to Hayes’s hands on my ass. He didn’t say anything, just stood there, glaring. “You sure you don’t want me to kick his ass out of the house?”

I rolled my eyes, but my brain turned to shit when Hayes pulled my shirt up over my head.

Hunter walked over and grabbed me by the hand, yanking me toward him. “You’ve had enough of her.” He pulled me toward his bedroom, and Hayes followed behind.

  * * *

The minute we got in the bedroom, my nerves spiked off the charts. I felt a knot in the pit of my stomach. It all felt so wrong, and so right at the same time. My throat tried to close off, and cold beads of sweat broke out along my hair line. I looked up at Hayes and he ran a hand along my cheek, pushing back a few strands of hair behind my ear.

He leaned in and kissed me. Kissed me so hard my knees shook, and my brain went to shit. The fact Hunter watched him do it didn’t even enter my mind. He shoved wildly past my lips and our tongues danced and swirled. Before I knew it, he’d unclasped my bra and my breasts fell free.

Hunter’s eyes heated me up from across the room.

I pulled back from the kiss, stepping away
from Hayes. His eyes raked over my body. I glanced over to Hunter.

Without hesitation, Hunter stalked over and unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them down. I kicked out of my jeans and shoes, then grabbed onto my panties and yanked them down.

Both brothers stared, eyes wide, at how eager I was to have both of them fuck me.

“Holy fuck.” Hunter gripped my ass in both his hands, nudging Hayes out of the way. “I forgot how fucking sexy you are.”

I tried not to blush at his words.

  He’d get his turn.

Hayes glared at him and muscled his way back in. Both of them fighting over me was extremely—hot. It was like my fantasy was coming to life in front of me.

I glanced over to see Hunter was already massaging his cock, in desperate need of some help. I gripped Hayes’s shirt and slowly lifted it over his head. While I did that, he kicked out of his jeans and boxer briefs.

Hunter was already completely naked, unwilling to wait. I tried not to laugh. God, both of them were fucking beautiful, and naked.

I gripped Hayes by his broad shoulders and pulled him into me. His eyes lowered when my nails dug into him.

  Crack!

His hand smacked my ass, and I let out a shriek of surprise. He leaned down next to my ear as his hand massaged my stinging ass. “Don’t think because he’s here, that either of you run shit. I own everything.”

He pressed his chest against me, and my nipples ached against his rock-hard pecs. His cock was thick and hard against my belly, and he flipped me around and bent me over the bed. His hand fisted my hair and his chest pressed me down into the bed.

His chin rested on my shoulder, and I could tell he was staring right at Hunter. I looked at Hunter too.

“I’ll take whichever hold I want. Whenever I want. That’s the goddamn rule.”

Hunter stalked toward him, fists clenched.

  Oh fuck.

“Stay right there, little brother. I go first, remember?”

Hunter’s eyes shot to mine. I couldn’t do anything, or say anything, because Hayes’s words heated me up a million degrees hotter than I’d ever been in my life.
