A Wicked Beginning

Kayden shrugged. “Temper, temper…I was actually otherwise engaged. Natalie wanted to discuss something with me.”

I blew my breath out of my mouth. “What does she want?”

Kayden arched his eyebrows. “She…as you put it…is quite concerned about the star dreamling stalking your boyfriend.”

“What do you know about it?” I asked eagerly.

“I know a lot about it as do you…only I remember where I came from…you don’t.” He gave me a haughty glare.

“I’m trying, Kayden. I’m getting closer.” I gave him a wan smile.

His face softened, and he leaned closer as if to kiss me. When his lips had nearly reached their mark, he paused, as I knew he would. “Yes, mon amour,” he whispered. “You and I are getting closer all the time.”

It felt like liquid amber was pouring into my mouth from his nearness. My lips and cheeks started to tingle. I closed my eyes. “Oh, God, what you do to me, Kayden.” Then I opened my eyes abruptly and leaned away from his intoxicating flesh. Only, it felt like our lips were held together by some invisible glue that stretched like scrumptious taffy when I moved away, causing the tingling to radiate throughout my face. I closed my eyes and snapped my face to the right causing the connection to break.

“Ouch…” Kayden uttered. “Be gentle when you break contact, ma chère. I’m afraid this calls for a do-over.” Once again, he inclined his face towards my lips, holding my face between his hands. The sensation pulsing from his palms was like being held by lightning. I could almost hear the crackle and zing. His mouth was within a millimeter of contact…so close, yet still not touching.

I became very tranquil, captivated by the sensations of his exquisite touch and the nearness of him. “You seem to have grown more powerful,” I breathed, eyes closed, intoxicated.

“As have you, chère...we complement one another. Feel this…”

Feel I did. Energy started streaming through my face like a wind, lighting up a pathway of electric bliss as it pulsed through my body.

“Now, gently disengage from me, chère…should you want to do that.”

“I don’t want to any longer,” I whispered.

He chuckled softly, causing warm breath to caress my skin. “Nor should you ever want to, sexy girl. But for the purposes of our lesson, s'il vous plaît…please…”

This time I gently pulled away. I imagined the thread of our connection growing thinner as I eased away. Finally the tendrils just let go, falling away, causing a small, pleasurable quiver in each of our lips.

Kayden gave me a satisfied, erotic smile and licked his lips. “Much better, ma chère... Much better…”

He raked his fingertips along my neck, causing electric sparks to spread along my skin. A tiny earthquake shook through me. “Kayden…” I said. My head arched backwards. “I need to concentrate here.” His index fingers traced spirals down my arms. Hypnotized, I watched the miniscule whorls rise up in a golden glow and poof into thin air. I wanted to fall into the sea of bliss with Kayden…I really did…but there were more important things to think about. Only I had suddenly forgotten what they were. Kayden’s fingers were now moving across my breasts and down to my belly. He gently drummed his fingers on my tummy and solar plexus, and then swept his fingers up towards my heart. An erotic sensation spread from my pelvis into my chest and pulsed with every heartbeat throughout my body. “Oh, God, Kayden…” I moaned.

“I recall you wanting to know more about the star dreamling tracking the Neanderthal,” he breathed.

“Right…something like that…” I was gone. Utterly and thoroughly gone… I knew I was radiating with light, and the ka’kriyayaga was dancing and frolicking throughout my system.

I heard a soft masculine laugh from far away…must be Kayden. A distant voice asked, “Tell me what you see, chère.”

In my mind’s eye, I was immersed in color and light and dancing in ecstasy. “I’m dancing in a Star Cluster in the Milky Way. I see thousands of sparkling new baby stars, tucked into a giant nebula.” I heard Kayden sigh. It sounded like an immense wind blowing across the universe. “My foot is alighting on each star as I make my way across the galaxy. Some of the stars explode when my foot collides with them. They burst into fragments of dust and hot gasses, forming an exquisite light show that expands through time and space.” I heard a faraway affirmation…a sound like yes…that blew across the stars like the wind on the savannah, causing them to sparkle, twinkle, and twirl. My form was one gigantic, pulsating electrical wave, shimmering its way through the stars. I was undulating, twisting, and turning, dancing to a cosmic heartbeat that thrust the worlds into existence. My entire being expanded and contracted in continuous orgasm as I continued my dance. Words were beyond me. Cohesive thought was out of the question. I was a mass of sensation, form, and light.

I may have remained in this manner for days…maybe hours…maybe seconds. Who knew? Ultimately I became aware of hovering over a beautiful crystalline lake, entwined with Kayden. This lake, our beautiful lake, created for our pleasurable union, was nestled among sparkling, snow-covered peaks looming like giant protectors. The quiet in this place was unlike any other. It spread like a velvety blanket of serenity and calm across the mirror-like surface of the lake, on into the forest, alpine meadows, and lofty crags.

With my legs wrapped around Kayden’s hips and his arms encircling me, there was no distinguishing one from the other, intertwined as we were. We completed one another. One of us breathed in; one of us breathed out. One of us moved; the other responded in synchrony. A harmonious rhythm enfolded us. There was one, immense shared heart between us. “Oh!” I cried in sudden comprehension.

Kayden’s arms were wrapped tightly around me. He released me and gazed at me with his narcotic golden eyes. “Have you figured out the mystery, ma chère?”

“I think so…yes.” And as quickly as I’d found myself dancing across the galaxy then hovering above the lake, I now found myself sitting on a terrace in the mountains, overlooking the distant lake. The air was crisp and clean. The landscape throbbed with sound – tinkling chimes of a running stream, soft utterances of butterflies and birds, little crackling noises of rocks and smooth stones. It was an exquisite symphony of music. I looked behind me and viewed an immense shimmering form, like a building or something.

“You are not ready to see that, chère,” Kayden said, regarding me with fondness. “Here. Let us eat.”

I noticed an array of pungent cheeses: blue-veined Bleu d'Auvergne, buttery, creamy Brillat-Savarin, aromatic and nutty Morbier. Succulent raspberries, juicy pears, glistening strawberries, and wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, and Languedoc surrounded the tray of cheese. But of course – this was one of Kayden’s and my favorite repasts. I looked over at Kayden and smiled. It all came from far below in the country known as France…of course! How perfect that we would build our fantasy domain in the Land of Romance… “My love…” I began, nibbling the tangy blue cheese. “You are my love. You are the breath filling my lungs, the blood filling my veins, the heart pushing the fluids through my being.” My body flooded with pleasure at the recollection. I picked up a strawberry and held it out for Kayden. He sucked it into his mouth, capturing my fingers in the process.

“As you are mine…you have remembered.” Kayden looked over at me with tender puppy dog eyes, brimming with tears. He reached out to clasp my hands.

I glanced down at our fingers. My ring was pulsing softly. I noticed a similar ring pulsing on his middle finger, same as the placement of my ring. “When did you get that?” I asked in wonder. I picked up his strong hand to examine the ring. It was a more masculine version that matched mine perfectly, with frolicking dolphins cavorting in a never ending circular sea of gold.

“It appeared on my hand upon your remembering, mon amour. It has been gone a long time. I was beginning to think it would never be returned to me.”

“Where was it?” I asked, perplexed.

  “Out there…somewher
e…” he gestured towards the heavens. “It signifies our connection. Unless both of us remembers who we are it cannot be on my finger.”

“I haven’t exactly remembered…my beloved…” I said absentmindedly, still captivated by our matching circlets. I noticed little snaky tendrils of light flowing from my ring to Kayden’s. The rings actually looked happy, if an inanimate object could be happy. “I have only captured glimpses of possibility.”

“They are enough to warrant the return of the ring, mon amour.”

I laced my fingers into Kayden’s then brought them close and kissed each one. “So if you are my heart, and I am yours, how can I give my heart to Cam?”

“Surely you have not given it away, chère.” Kayden looked shocked. “A price tag cannot be put on it, but it is far more valuable than a mere giveaway warrants.”

“Okay, okay…how can I share it with him if I am yours and you are mine? Are we one and the same?”

Kayden returned the kisses on my fingertips. “Not exactly, chère. Let me see if I can conjure up the feeling.”

His handsome face became Buddha-like serene and he brought my palm to his heart. He pressed it against his muscular chest until it started to melt and disappear. Startled, I snatched my arm back. My hand reappeared. “Whoa, Nellie, that was a surprise.”

Kayden chuckled, then took my hand again. “Relax, sexy girl. I won’t take you in all the way.”

Once again, he placed my palm over his heart. Again it disappeared as understanding awakened in my brain. “I think I’ve got it, Kayden…at least a piece of it. If you or I were to fully conjoin, we’d not only become one, we’d become part of the whole cosmos. We’d disappear as if falling into a black hole.”

He nodded sagely. “Precisely, chère...that is why I morph into thin air when I am aroused and physical with you…it is extremely difficult to come back when I am in that place.”

“But then how can you walk down the driveway and vanish and then reappear at will?”

“It has to do with intention. My intention in that moment is to go wherever I need to go.”

  “Which is?”

“You know the answer to this, sexy girl – here and there…wherever I am called to be.” He waved his hand airily.

“Will I be able to do that?”

“When you remember, yes…you have done it before.”

  “Why did I forget?”

“That is not mine to answer, ma chère.” He stood up, stretching his sexy body and grooming himself in his typical fastidious Kayden fashion. The man was eye candy and then some, causing me to gulp. “Now…let us speak of the star dreamling and the Neanderthal.” We were suddenly at my house again. He took my hand and led me over to the porch steps. Then he pulled me next to him. We sat side by side, facing the elm trees and the distant Puget Sound, taking in the beauty all around us. “This is such a busy place,” Kayden mused. “Like a small ant farm, the tiny creatures moving about in perpetual motion.”

  “Which place?” I inquired.

  “Earth...” He shook his head.

“So…this heart of mine that I have chosen to share with Cam…” I began, feeling joyful. I felt wonderful after my galaxy tripping sojourn. My body felt radiant and full. “You are my heart, I am your heart, yet I have chosen to share my heart with Cam.”

“It is an old, old contract, ma chère.”

“A contract…? What do you mean?”

Kayden tapped my temple with a gentle touch. “Use your mind, sexy girl. Use your awareness.”

A sudden memory flooded my brain, causing me to cringe and scrunch up my face. Clear as day, in my mind’s eye I could see Cam chained to a bed in the temple, waiting for me, endlessly waiting for me. “Oh dear, he really was my pet, wasn’t he?” When Kayden did not reply, I said “Why did I do that?”

Kayden shrugged his muscular shoulders. “Boredom? Complacency? I could not always be with you…”

“Ugh…that wasn’t nice of me, was it? I recall letting him go…as my pet…but we still lived close to one another.”

“You did give him a good life,” Kayden considered. “He always disappeared when I returned, which I appreciated. I just did not care for the smell of him all over you when I came back.” He wrinkled his nose in disgust. “…much as you reek of him lately. I will deal with it,” he sighed. “And…” His golden eyes twinkled with wicked intent. “I do enjoy your interactions…surely you don’t think I am a mere voyeur, do you? I assure you that I am a full participant in the process. It is almost as if it is I am inside of you when you are with him.” He gave me a searing look.

“Is that why you aren’t jealous? Why you don’t you care when I am with him?”

“Ma chère,” he began patiently. “I care for you. I cannot deny you a thing, let alone a withering contract. This is important. I believe you will learn much about yourself in the process.”

“Right…the contract. Cam is unique, isn’t he?”

  “I’m afraid so…”

“But he doesn’t yet know who he is, does he?” Kayden shook his head. “And it is not for me to tell him who he is, right? The same as you cannot tell me who I am.” I began to get excited. “But I can be there for him as he makes his discovery. So what about the star dreamling? Why is Natalie concerned?”

“She has not seen such things occur before…the star dreamling has not made it clear yet if he is friend or foe. Cam may live and Cam may die. It is not yet clear.”

An involuntary shudder crept up my spine. “Oh, my…” I gasped. “Cam might not live through this? Is there anything I can do to prevent his demise?”

“No more than I can prevent yours, chère. I can only aid and assist you along the way. And one more thing you need to know. The ta-ak’tiyani are involved in this somehow.”

“Oh, no…in what way?” I yelped. I knew the ta-ak’tiyani to be heart eaters, ghastly creatures that nibbled away at the hearts of damaged souls.

“The shrew cow – Jill Primcott – the one who locked me in a broom closet,” he spat. “She can feel you growing stronger. So she has decided to reach you through other means…through the heart of someone whom you love.”

“Jill Primcott…!” I spluttered. “She’s still in the picture?”

“I’m afraid so, mon amour. Natalie is watching her actions carefully. She will let us know when the fiendish hag is on the move again.”

I suddenly became very, very cold. Last year, when I was channeling super sexy powers to bring down Jill and her Miscreants, Jill had brought me back to the mind of my eight-year-old violated self, rendering me helpless, accusing me of being responsible for her misery. While intellectually I knew this was not true, emotionally I had still been weak, and I believed her foolish delusions. My teeth started chattering with the cold.

“You are stronger than this, ma chère.”

I hugged my knees and took several deep breaths, calming myself. “I suppose…” I said as the warmth seeped back into my system. Gathering my courage back, I let my legs stretch out before me. “So my sexy beautiful man-like creature, what’s next?”

“We shall see, sexy girl, we shall see.”

  Chapter 13 – Angela

Angela Myers closed the door of the small brown rambler house with the weed strewn lawn in an unkempt Seattle suburb and glanced up into the vast sky. She was dressed in a short, tight black skirt, with a form hugging pink sweater. She clutched a small package wrapped in brown paper. Reclining her head back, she took a deep breath of the fresh air. That’s enough of that, she thought sardonically, digging around in her purse for her cigarettes. Pulling out the Camels – such a manly smoke – and lighting one, she inhaled deeply and sighed. Why had she renewed this old addiction? It’s because of him, she thought. A dreamy look came over her face. Him. Her body became aroused just conjuring up his image.

She walked briskly to her car, a gleaming silver BMW 4-door sedan. Easing into the front seat, she peeled back the brown paper and peeked into the packet. A
strong odorous whiff of bitter herbs sprinkled with some kind of dried blood and animal semen greeted her nose. Phew. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, tucked the paper back together, and gently laid the satchel on the front passenger seat.

She had been going to see this old witch of a woman named Jill Primcott for a couple of months now...ever since he had blocked her number…him. Again, the dreamy look spread across her face. Mrs. Primcott and her strange assistant – a bizarre looking man named Joe Dallas – had been giving her spells to use on him. She did not dare call him by his name. That was the condition of the latest spell. She was not to refer to him by name…ever. Or at least not yet. This spell was too potent. It was a love charm, liberally sprinkled with the intent to control, meaning that when she cast the spell, not only would he love her, he would be her docile pet until death do us part. When she cast this spell, she was to invoke a Goddess named Bast, the Egyptian goddess of sensual pleasure. She’d been given words to say, things to do; now she had to do some research on the Goddess to familiarize herself with this ancient deity. Mrs. P. always gave her lots of prep work when she gave her a new spell. Thinking of him, she knew it would be worth it. She sighed again. Mrs. Angela Ty…She quickly clamped a hand over her mouth. Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it…think of something else. Think of…think of…there…the name had fled from her mind.

So far, the spells seemed to be working. Mrs. Primcott said they were dream spells, causing some horrid little creatures to chase him through the dream world. Mrs. P said he was too strong to allow the creatures to track him in this reality, so she sent them on errands in his dreams to mess with his spirit. The dreams also allowed her to catch a yummy dream glimpse of him running through the landscape. She’d chase him and hold him and attempt to go down on him. Only thing was, when she did that the dreams would end. She would always awaken and feel aroused and excited. Then, in that state, she’d masturbate and provoke further mischief through the sex magic spells Mrs. Primcott had shared with her. It was getting fun, actually. It gave her a sense of purpose. Yes, that was it. It gave meaning to her life.
