Wheelie’s Challenge
Page 22
“You light a fire in me, babe. My bed was cold without you.”
“I missed you so much. When I thought you hated me that was the worst feeling in the world,” she said against his mouth.
“I could never hate you. I’ve loved you for a long time, baby.” Wheelie delved his tongue between her parted lips. “We’re together forever. Don’t ever forget that.” Being with Sofia was unlike anything he’d ever experienced. With the other women in his life, casual sex was fun but it didn’t have any meaning for him, but with Sofia, sex was deeply intimate and meant something to him. And it wasn’t just the sex: They were a couple doing things with each other, and it was exhilarating, passionate, and ordinary all rolled together.
As he grazed his thumb over her nipple she whimpered. “The sounds you make drive me fuckin’ crazy,” he said hoarsely. Wheelie wanted to take his time, tease her, savor her, but the fire in his veins along with her soft whimpers drove him along. He was wild with desire.
He stared at Sofia’s pretty face, her delicate features pulled tight with arousal. He tugged her shirt up and undid her bra then covered her firm breasts with his hands, loving how they rose and fell rapidly. Bending his head down, he took one nipple into his mouth and pulled and twisted the other one.
“Feels too good,” Sophia moaned.
After a few minutes, Wheelie pulled away slightly and unzipped his jeans, shoving them and his boxers down. His hard cock hit against her soft skin. Sliding his hand under her skirt, he tugged her thong down her smooth legs and tossed it, laughing when he saw a wave carry it away. He dipped his head down and kissed her, their tongues meeting and tangling together.
“I need you real bad, babe,” Wheelie rasped as Sofia clutched his biceps. He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him, her back resting against the post. He positioned his cock at her entrance and in one smooth movement, he slid her onto him.
“Oh!” she cried out as his hips ground into her.
“Fuck that feels good, baby. I love how tight and wet you are.”
Sophia dug her bare heels into his ass and wrapped her arms around his neck and locked her fingers together, her gaze fixed on him. Wheelie kissed her hard and started moving inside her. Her pussy was warm and liquid, her nipples were erect, and her eyes glazed with desire.
The water rippled over his feet as she met his thrusts and her nails dug into his flesh. Their heavy breathing bounced off the wooden posts mingling with the steady sound of waves splashing around them.
“Faster, Wheelie. You feel so fucking good,” Sofia panted.
He pounded in and out harder and faster, and as he felt the walls of her pussy convulse, he kept fucking her with wild abandon. His forceful thrusts melded with that of her frantic cries and his own pounding heart.
“Wheelie!” she cried out as she sagged against him. He bent over and sucked the skin along her neck until pleasure crashed into him as he let go.
Their foreheads touched as they slowed their breathing and he held her tight while she shuddered against him.
“That was amazing,” Sofia said softly, her face glowing.
Wheelie kissed her. “You’re amazing, babe.” She slid down his body and he chuckled when her knees wobbled. He curled his arm around her and held her close until she could stand without falling down.
After Wheelie pulled up his boxers and jeans, he clasped Sofia’s bra and watched as she buttoned her shirt and straightened out her skirt. Picking up his boots and her shoes, he grasped her hand and they walked back toward the boardwalk.
Later that night as they watched the moon reflect in the glassy water from the balcony at the hotel he got for them, Sofia rested her head on his shoulder.
“I’m so happy with you,” she said softly.
“Me too.” Wheelie played with a strand of her hair, twisting it around his finger. “When’s your divorce final?”
“Two months, if Tigger doesn’t contest anything.”
“He probably won’t.” After Banger and the other brothers are done with him, he’ll be lucky if he’s still around. “Once that goes through, I want to marry you. I know it’s real quick and you might be freakin’ out over it, but it’s gonna happen down the road anyway, so we should do it before the baby is born.”
Pulling away from him, Sofia wiped her cheeks and stared out at the dark ocean.
“What’s wrong? You don’t wanna marry me?”
“No,” she replied quickly. “I just can’t believe how wonderful you are. I’d love to be your wife. I’ll try hard to make you happy and be the perfect wife.”
Wheelie drew her to him and kissed her wet cheeks. “You already make me happy, and I want you just to be you. I fuckin’ hate perfection. I live for the quirks and flaws—that’s what makes life interesting.”
“I love you so much.” She kissed him softly on the lips.
“I’ve never loved a woman before. You stole my heart a long time ago, and it feels right that we’re finally together. Life’s good, babe.”
“I’d like to meet your mom. I doubt that my dad would let my mom come to Pinewood Springs. There’s no way I want to see him.,” Sofia said.
“I know it’s tough, babe. Maybe we can go to Colorado Springs and spend a few hours with your mom when your dad’s at work.” Sofia grimaced. “It’s just a thought. My mom’s gonna be over the fuckin’ moon about having a grandkid.” Wheelie picked up his beer and took a drink. “She’s gonna love you. She’s been trying to get me married for a long time.” He chuckled.
“I really hope she’s good with me. I want to have her and your stepdad over for holidays and visits. I want to get along with her. Tigger’s mom was a royal bitch. I was glad that we moved to Pinewood Springs and rarely saw her.”
“My mom’s a cool lady. You’ll get along fine with her.” His hand brushed against the side of her tit and he sucked in his breath.
Sofia took his hand and put in on her breast then looked up at him with heat burning in her eyes.
“Fuck, baby. You read my mind.” Wheelie swept his lips across hers. “We’ve got all night to have fun. Now get your sweet ass in the room.” He playfully smacked Sofia’s ass, and she jumped up and ran inside.
Wheelie finished his beer then stood up and walked in. He’d take her in the shower, on the couch, then on the bed where he was sure she’d fall asleep from exhaustion. He’d come to realize that with Sofia, he could never sate his desire.
He closed the sliding door and walked toward Sofia’s welcoming arms.
Chapter Twenty-Two
The clubhouse for the San Diego Insurgents MC was a sprawling three story stucco mansion with terracotta roof tiles. Thick, thirty foot stucco-clad walls with wrought iron spikes on top surrounded it.
When Wheelie arrived at the gate, Easy greeted him with a wave and opened the iron gates. Wheelie lifted his chin at Easy as he and Sofia drove through.
“This is beautiful,” she said as they went down a winding road bordered by palm trees and lush vegetation.
“It kicks ass,” Wheelie replied, pulling into a parking space. He hopped out of the rental car and went around and opened the passenger door. He caressed her tight face. “It’s gonna be cool, babe. Breaker said that the old ladies are real nice.”
“I hope so. How long are you going to be?”
“We’ve got club business so it could be a while.” Wheelie clasped her hand and led her to the front porch. He swung open the heavy wooden door and they walked into a red-tiled foyer then followed the sounds of music and voices.
An arched doorway led into a very large room that had colorful tiles on the wall behind a curved bar. Pool tables lined the back of the room, and three long couches formed a U-shape in front of a gigantic flat screen television. Men in leather and jeans filled the room, and Sofia clutched Wheelie’s hand tighter as he made his way over to Hawk.
“Hey,” Hawk said, bumping fists with him.
“I didn’t expect to see you guys until late tonight.” Whee
lie nodded at the prospect, who brought him a Coors. “You want anything?” Wheelie asked Sofia.
“A club soda,” she said, looking around the room. The prospect scurried away. “I can’t get over how pretty the clubhouse is. Look at those Mexican tiles behind the bar. I’d love to do something like that at your place. Maybe in the kitchen.”
Wheelie brushed his lips across hers. “It’s our place, and I told you to do what the hell you want with it except in the basement.”
The prospect handed Sofia a tall glass then rushed back to the bar.
“Banger decided to leave a day early,” Hawk said, glancing at Sofia then back to Wheelie.
He jerked his head in understanding: Banger wanted to take care of Tigger. Since the club had found out that the ex-Insurgent had left Pinewood Springs, Banger and the others had been livid. In their world, no one stole from the club, and the fact that Tigger had been a brother, the theft was an act of betrayal to all of them.
Someone gripped his shoulder. “Good job,” Banger said. Wheelie knew he meant about finding Tigger. “We got club business. Does Sofia have something to do?”
She leaned in closer to Wheelie. “I’m going shopping with the old ladies.”
“I guess we won’t be seeing you for quite a while.” Banger chuckled. “I can never understand how you women can shop for so many fuckin’ hours. When I need clothes, I go in and out in less than twenty minutes.”
“Same with me,” Wheelie added.
“But I bet you take hours when buying a leather jacket or a new bike.” Sofia said, softly poking him in the side.
Banger burst out laughing and Wheelie shook his head. “You got me there, babe.”
“Breaker’s looking for you,” Panther said as he came up to Wheelie.
“Where’s he at?”
“In the yard. It’s down that hallway,” Panther said, pointing to the left.
“You’ve got a fuckin’ country club here,” Wheelie said.
Panther threw his head back and guffawed. The tie holding back his hair slipped down, and he pulled it out and put it around his wrist. With his black hair and large green eyes, Wheelie understood how the president got his road name.
“How the hell do you get anything done? I’m expecting to see a goddamn pool somewhere out back,” Hawk said, a smile twitching on the corner of his mouth. Panther held up his middle finger and the men laughed.
A busty woman in her early thirties came over to Sofia and smiled. “Are you Wheelie’s woman?”
“Yes,” Sofia answered.
“I’m Amber—Brewer’s ol’ lady. I hear you wanna come shopping with us.” The blonde put two fingers in her mouth and whistled then waved over a couple of women sitting on the olive-colored couches. “This is Wanda—Bullet’s ol’ lady and Shania. She wears Ryder’s patch.” The women exchanged greetings and soon Sofia walked out of the room with them, clutching Wheelie’s credit card in her hand.
“Hope you set a limit,” Smokey said as the men watched the women go.
“If she’s anything like Cara, you’re in deep financial shit.” Hawk brought the beer bottle to his lips.
Wheelie chuckled. “I guess I’ll find out soon enough. It’s the first time I’ve given my card to a woman.”
“Fuck, brother. You should’ve asked us dudes with ol’ ladies,” Bullet said. “Wanda would spend up to the limit of every credit card we had if she could. That’s who you’ve got taking your woman shopping.”
“Amber’s not much better,” Brewer added.
“I’m still paying the damn bills from Shania’s last shopping spree.” Ryder crossed his arms against his chest.
“You’re fuckin’ screwed,” Smokey said, and the men sniggered.
“I better have another one,” Wheelie said, watching Sofia and the shopaholics drive away.
Rock came over with Breaker and Wheelie bumped fists with them. “Panther said you were looking for me.”
“Yeah. Just wondering if you wanted to see Tigger alone before we got started.”
“Where’s the sonofabitch?” Banger asked as he narrowed his eyes.
“We got him in the brig,” Breaker answered. “We’ve been playing mind shit on him since we dragged his ass over here, but this is your deal. If you need some help, let me know.”
“We’re cool.” Hawk clenched his jaw.
“Did Animal come?” Wheelie asked.
Smokey shook his head. “Once he found out you didn’t need his help with the asshole, he stayed back.”
“Should we get this shit over with?” Jax asked as he finished his joint.
“Yeah,” Banger said in a flat voice.
Killing a brother, even an ex-member and a thief, was never easy. They walked in silence as they followed Breaker to a garage, heaviness weighing on all of them. After opening the steel doors, Wheelie walked in and saw Tigger tied to a metal chair with bright lights shining in his eyes. Wheelie’s gut twisted, and even though Tigger asked for everything he was going to get, it still pained him to see that a brother had stooped so low.
“You shoulda stuck around like a man and taken your punishment,” Banger gritted as he came close to the ex-member.
“He’s still got Insurgents tats on him,” Breaker said as he closed the steel doors.
“We’ll take care of that,” Axe said.
The garage had concrete floors and the walls were reinforced with sound proofing materials. Suspended from the ceiling were several beams that had hooks and pulleys attached to them. Metal tables lined two sides of the room and instruments of torture adorned them. A single stainless steel table stood off to the left.
Tigger lifted his head when the bright lights went off. He scanned the room, his gaze landing on Wheelie. “Why the fuck is he still in the club?” His biceps bulged when he pulled at the restraints. “He fucked my wife. Do you bend the rules for the brothers you favor?” He spat on the ground.
“This isn’t about Wheelie,” Hawk gritted.
“We dealt with that already,” Rock added.
“None of this shit matters. We’re here ’cause you fuckin’ stole from the brotherhood and you were a member when you did it. That and only that, is why we’re here.” Banger went over and punched Tigger in the face. “Where’s the fuckin’ money you stole from us?”
Tigger lifted his chin up and stared the president in the eyes. “I spent it. It’s gone. You’ll never see a cent of it. I can’t believe it took you dumbasses so long to figure out that someone was stealing from you. I shoulda done more. I—”
Wheelie’s fist sinking into Tigger’s belly winded the ex-brother for a few seconds then he laughed dryly. “I shoulda killed your ass when I had the chance. You fucked my wife! You can all pretend this piece of shit is better than I am, but he isn’t.” Tigger shook his head. “You couldn’t even find your own woman, you pathetic loser. Were you fucking her all the times you took her to see me when I was locked in the goddamn pen because of her?”
“She had nothing to do with that. You never knew how to treat her. Now she’s safe.” Wheelie threw another punch at Tigger.
“Stop it! We’re not here for whatever bullshit the two of you have between you. You fuckin’ stole from the club. That’s the goddamn issue.” Banger jerked his head at Breaker. “Uncuff this fucker and lay him on the table.”
Breaker rolled the stainless steel table to the center of the room then took off the handcuffs.
For the next two hours, Smokey, Rock, Hawk, Banger, Wheelie, Jax, Puck, Blade, Axe, and Throttle exacted punishment on the man who had betrayed them and who they’d once called a brother. Emotionless expressions froze on their faces as they watched Tigger cough up blood, sending a thin crimson spray onto the concrete floor.
Face white, eyelids swollen nearly shut, skin blistering, Tigger’s cries came from deep within his chest and twisted into raspy moans as they spilled from his cracked lips. The stench of burnt flesh filled the room as Rock set the blowtorch down on one of the tables.
r /> “That’s the last of them,” Rock said, wiping the sweat running down his face with the back of his arm.
“The tat on his cock was just stupid,” Wheelie said. “Are we finished here?” He lifted the bloodied sledge hammer. Banger nodded, and Wheelie put it on the table next to the blowtorch. “Get me some cleaning stuff for this.” Wheelie said to Breaker.
“Me, Dixie, and Easy will take care of it, bro. It doesn’t seem like the fucker’s gonna last too much longer,” Breaker replied.
“We better keep an eye on Cruiser and Skeet,” Wheelie said, leaning back on the heels of his boots. “They’re not gonna take this too well.”
“They’re Insurgents and they know the damn score,” Banger said.
“Are we sure they weren’t involved in this?” Axe asked.
“Hubcap said it was just Tigger.” Hawk bent over Tigger’s broken and burned body.
“I can’t fucking believe Skeet didn’t know the asshole was doing this shit,” Throttle said.
“He’s gone.” Hawk walked away from the table. “If we find out Skeet knew and didn’t say shit, he’ll join his buddy.” He turned to Breaker. “Are you sure you don’t need help? I can give you a hand.”
“Me too,” Wheelie said.
Breaker shook his head. “We got this. My buddy at the funeral home will turn Tigger to ashes then I’ll give the fucker to the ocean.” Breaker pointed at Wheelie. “That reminds me … my buddy told me that you can go over and pick up the urn for your woman.”
“Thanks, bro.”
Breaker jerked his head. “You can go in through the back and head to the basement. We got showers and sinks to wash up. I’ll have a couple of the prospects bring down your stuff so you can change.”
“Sounds good.” Banger scrubbed his face. “Looks like we’re done here.” He walked toward the steel doors and Breaker strode over and opened them.
