Ben felt her fingers rolling his balls and nearly lost it himself. The feel of her teeth lightly raking down the length of him had the blood in his balls boiling.

“God, babe. I’m going to come. I can’t hold out with you doing that to me. Can you take me, babe? All of me?” he asked as she sucked hard on his cock.

She hummed around his dick and the sensation was all it took to make him climax. He felt his balls explode as he shot cum into her mouth and down her throat. He massaged her scalp as he fought not to dig into it with his nails.

Ben threw back his head and bellowed at the white-hot pleasure of coming in his woman’s mouth. He knew that, no matter what happened later, he’d love her until he died. Telling her wasn’t going to be easy, but he’d do it before the night was over.

  * * * *

Alice swallowed Ben’s release, the salty tang of it filled her mouth and throat as he bellowed above her. Seeing him lose all control had her pussy clenching around Landon’s cock. She wanted him to move, but he seemed to be waiting for her to finish with Ben. Or, was he trying to regain control after having entered her wet passage. She knew she had to be sopping wet after the climax they’d rung out of her already.

“Please, Landon. I need you to move inside of me,” she finally said.

“You’re hot, wet pussy is choking me, hon. God, you feel so damn good wrapped around my dick like this. I don’t want to come too soon.” Landon pulled back then surged forward, bumping her cervix when he bottomed out inside of her.

  “Yes,” she hissed out.

“Fuck, Ben. She’s tight and slick. I swear I’m not going to last long,” Landon told the other man.

“Make her scream, man. I want to hear her lose it again,” Ben said.

Alice didn’t think she had another orgasm inside of her. They’d pretty much wrung every drop of pleasure from her body already. She was little more than tissue paper beneath Landon now.

He pulled out then thrust in over and over. The ridge of his cock brushed over that sensitive spot inside of her, sending little thrills of anticipation throughout her body. The harder he pounded inside of her, the more that thrill grew until she wondered if maybe she might be able to come again.

“I’m close, Alice. Play with your clit for me while I ride this tight cunt,” Landon said in a breathy voice.

Alice had never played with herself in front of a man before. She wasn’t sure she could do it, but Ben seemed to know she was having trouble since he took one of her hands and brought it up to her breast using his fingers to make her fingers pinch her nipple.

“Do that down there, babe. Help Landon out. He wants you to come first,” Ben said.

“I don’t know if I can,” she admitted.

“You can. Play with that little clit for us. I want to see how you make yourself feel good. Teach us what you like,” Ben told her.

Alice slowly lowered her hand to where Landon’s cock was filling her pussy to touch her clit with one finger. She just rested it there for a few seconds then slowly began circling it with her finger. She didn’t have to worry about lube—she was sopping wet down there.

She fingered her clit with one hand while pulling and pinching her nipple with the other one. Ben was playing with the other one. She felt completely decadent with the two men touching and fucking her at the same time. She felt the first waves of release build inside of her.

“I’m close. I’m so close,” she said.

“Hurry, hon. I’m not going to last much longer.” Landon’s voice was tight and clipped as he thrust in and out of her wet hole.

She continued to rub her little bundle of nerves until she felt the first waves of release roll over her, taking her by surprise. She jerked between the two men and screamed. As she clamped down with every muscle in her body, Alice heard Landon’s shout as he climaxed right behind her.

Alice panted, drawing in short gulps of air as Landon’s big body caged her in. She shoved at him.

  “Can’t breathe, Landon.”

He responded by rolling them over so that she was on top of him. Ben sprawled next to them with one hand over his eyes. He turned to look at her with his signature half smile and reached over to squeeze her hand.

“That was afuckingmazing, babe,” he said.

“What he said,” Landon added with a wide yawn.

She had both men sated next to her. Okay, one under her and one next to her. They were warm and hard and all male. She loved it. She loved them.

  * * * *

She wasn’t sure how long she’d lain between the two men before she’d finally fallen asleep, but she’d ached to tell them how she felt. Right after sex wasn’t the best time. They’d think she’d said it in the heat of the moment. No, she wanted them to know she really meant it. She’d decided to tell them before they left in the morning.

Now, as she listened to them snore on either side of her, Alice grinned like a hyena. She wasn’t bat-shit crazy like the animal, just silly giddy with the knowledge that she really, truly loved them and she was fairly sure they loved her back. They weren’t the kind of men to say the words as easily as she could. Okay, Ben wasn’t that kind of guy, but Landon would when he was ready.

She realized that the snoring on her left had stopped. She turned her head and found Ben staring at her with an odd expression on his face. Worry began a slow crawl up her belly into her throat. Was something wrong?

“Morning, beautiful. Guess we fell asleep on you.” Ben turned on his side to look down at her.

“I didn’t mind. Makes going to lunch later easier with you already here,” she said, praying he was okay with what had happened the night before.

  “Yeah, ’bout that,” he began.

“You two up already? What damn time is it?” Landon asked, stretching with a wide yawn.

“Don’t know. My alarm clock’s on the nightstand,” Alice said.

“Crap, it’s nearly ten.” Landon turned over to face her. “How’re you doing, honey?”

  “Fine. Really fine.”

She examined Landon’s expression and didn’t see anything odd on his face like she’d noticed on Ben’s. Maybe she was making something of nothing, but Ben seemed a little reserved despite his greeting, calling her beautiful.

“Need to get going, Landon. Neither one of us has clean clothes here,” Ben said.

“I’m all for lounging around here for the day,” Landon said. “If Alice doesn’t mind, that is.”

Before she could assure him she didn’t mind, Ben interrupted. “Need to get back to the garage, Landon. You can stay. I’d planned to work on that Mini Cooper before lunch and have it ready for Guy first thing Monday morning.”

“Guy can wait, Ben. Let’s go eat lunch, and then you can work on it. Come on, lazy bones,” Landon said, poking her. “Up and out.”

Alice took one last look at Ben and sighed. Something was up with him. Either he hadn’t been all that into her in the first place and the sex hadn’t been what he’d expected, or he’d only wanted sex and, now that he’d had it, like most men, he’d lost interest in her. She’d been such an idiot to believe they were really serious about having a long-term relationship.

“I’ll fix coffee for you guys while you get cleaned up and dressed. It won’t take me more than a few minutes to dress.” Alice climbed off the bed behind Landon. She avoided looking at Ben in case she saw something on his face that devastated her even more than she already was.

“Mmm, coffee sounds perfect,” Landon said.

Alice forced herself to walk slowly out of the room once she’d pulled on her new housecoat. She didn’t even bother with looking for slippers. Instead, she bit her bottom lip to quell the tears that threatened to fall. She wouldn’t cry in front of them. Why had she ever allowed herself to believe that it could work between the three of them?

As soon as she had three cups of coffee ready, Alice carried two cups into the bedroom, where both men were already dressed, and handed the mugs over before taking
hers into the bathroom and closing the door. Then the tears broke free, and she muffled the soft sob with a towel until she had control of herself once more.

She could hear them talking in the other room, but with the water going in the sink, Alice couldn’t make out what they were saying, which was just as well. She didn’t want to hear how they planned to let her down and walk away. She didn’t want to hear them talk about how disappointed they were, and she sure as hell didn’t want to hear them say good-bye. But that was what they were getting ready to do.

She finished cleaning up and walked out of the bathroom to find they’d left the bedroom. Good. She needed a few more minutes to regain control of her emotions. She dressed in jeans and a baggy sweatshirt. No need to dress up for them now. They weren’t planning to hang around anyway.

Alice took one last look in the mirror to be sure there was no hint of her earlier tears and stepped into the living room to find them sitting on the couch drinking the coffee she’d made for them. Ben looked put out, and Landon had a careful expression on his face that she’d never seen before.

“Look, guys, if you need to go, we don’t have to do lunch today. Maybe another day,” she managed to get out.

“Are you sure you don’t mind?” Landon asked. “Ben promised Guy he’d have his car ready by in the morning. I figure, if I help, we can make that deadline. I could kick the asshole for promising it to him.”

“It’s no problem. Like I said, another day.” Alice sipped from her cup without sitting down. She waited on them to make the next move.

Ben looked uncomfortable as hell. Well, he should. He’d broken her heart. She didn’t think Landon felt the same way Ben did, but he was going along with his friend. That was what real friends did. She knew that, when she’d lived in Austin, her best friend there would have followed her lead if it were important to her. Maybe she should move back there. Living alone with no friends in Rock Creek wasn’t going very well for her.

“Thanks for the coffee, Alice,” Ben said and stood.

She reached out and took the cup from him. “I’ll put it up.”

Landon drained his and handed it to her, as well. She balanced the three mugs and followed them to the door. To her surprise, Landon kissed her cheek before following Ben through the door. She watched them walk toward the truck then closed the door with her hip. The last thing she allowed herself to dwell on before she escaped into her office with Sassy was that they hadn’t knocked on the door to make sure she’d locked it.

  Chapter Seventeen

“What the fuck is going on with you?” Landon demanded the second they were both in the truck.

“Nothing. I promised Guy I’d have the fucking car ready by first thing in the morning. He needs it for a business trip.”

“To hell with that. You were rude to Alice. There was no reason to do that. We could get the damn car ready in the morning even going to lunch with her. You were all over her last night and woke up calling her beautiful. Then you changed like a damn Jekyll and Hyde. What changed in the space of a few seconds?”

Landon was going to get to the bottom of it if it killed him. What had happened? They had the perfect woman in their arms, had been inside of her the night before, and Ben was screwing it all up.

“Look. I realized that this will never work. She can’t marry both of us, and people are going to talk about her. I thought it would, but I was wrong.” Ben glared out the windshield in front of him after turning away from Landon.

  “You’re scared,” Landon said.

“Fuck that. I’m not scared. Nothing scares me, you asshole.”

“She does. Or is it love that scares the hell out of you?”

“I said nothing does. I just realized that we’re smoking a pipe dream by thinking a ménage will work in this small town. Hell, we don’t even have a decent place to take her, and her house is too fucking small for the three of us.”

“So, we’ll either build a house or buy one that will fit all three of us. That’s no reason to break it off with her and break her heart in the process.”

Ben jerked his head around to stare at Landon. “What makes you think we broke her heart?”

“I didn’t. You did, fuckwad. You crushed her after we swore this would work. You went back on your word and did it the first time we made love to her. What does that tell her do you think?”

“How the hell should I know?” Ben asked in a sullen voice.

“It told her that we were never really taken with her. We just wanted to fuck her and move on. You really did a number on her, Ben. I’m so fucking mad at you I could bust your nose and maybe your balls.” Landon hit the steering wheel.

“She doesn’t love us, Landon. If she did, she would have said something,” Ben finally said in a quiet voice.

“Yeah, well, you didn’t say anything either. Hell, neither did I. You knocked the wind out of me when you acted like an ass, or I would have told her this morning. I love her, Ben. I fucking love that woman, and you screwed it all up.”

“Yeah, I love her, too. That’s what’s so fucked up. Both of us love her and neither one of us can have her because we can’t both have her at the same time.”

Landon just gaped at his friend then returned his attention to the road. How screwed up was that? How could he even begin to fix things with Alice, much less his friend?

Before Landon had even stopped the truck, Ben was out of it. He stomped across the parking lot and unlocked the garage office door before disappearing inside. One of the garage bay doors rolled up, and Ben had a socket wrench in his hand and was scooting the crawler under the Mini Cooper he had jacked up so he could fit beneath it.

Landon sat there for a good two minutes then slammed the gearshift into reverse and backed out to drive home. He needed to think about what had happened. He wanted to go to Alice and comfort her, but doing so without an answer to the mess wouldn’t help much. No, he needed to figure out what to do about Ben and his insecurities first.

  * * * *

Ben cursed nonstop as he worked on the damn car. It wasn’t going to take more than a couple of hours to finish fixing the damn thing, but he dragged it out thinking about Alice and how much he wanted her in his life. She fucking completed him, but there was no way they could share her in a town like Rock Creek. It was too small. Maybe if they lived in Austin it would work. People there were more open to the different and weird. Hell, their motto was “Keep Austin Weird.”

Why had he let Landon talk him into asking her out in the first place? He should have let his friend ask her out and watched from the sidelines. Then Alice wouldn’t be hurting, and he wouldn’t’ feel like a fucking bastard. He’d have been jealous as shit, but what did that matter? Now he felt like a heel, an asshole, and a fucktard all at the same time.

She deserves better than me and Landon.

She deserves a man who can take her out without worry of what others will think. She deserves love that isn’t weird. More than anything, Alice deserved happiness, and he and Landon couldn’t give it to her.

Ben hit his knuckle for the hundredth time on the engine housing. The damn things were too damn small for his big hands. He should have made Landon work on it. His hands weren’t nearly as large as Ben’s.

After another couple of hours, he cleaned up the mess and made sure the car was free of greasy prints then locked up the garage and climbed the stairs to his apartment. Both of his hands were a bloody mess from hitting them too many times. At the time he’d relished the pain, feeling like he deserved every knock for what he’d done to Alice. Now, they just fucking hurt.

He tore off his clothes and stomped into the walk-in shower they’d put in when he’d converted the little room above the office and supply room into his apartment. The shower was the one thing that was big in his apartment. He only had a full-sized bed as it was.

Ben turned on the water and made it hotter than normal. He scrubbed until he was red from it then cursed at his erection, slapping the stall wall in
frustration. Just thinking about the woman had him hard. He soaped his hand and wrapped one hand around the shaft in a punishing grip then pulled on it over and over as his body tensed with need. He gripped his cock so hard he thought it would be bruised when he finally did come, but he didn’t care. He deserved the pain even if he did manage to come.

The memory of Alice’s face in ecstasy as she’d creamed all over his face had his balls boiling with the need to come. He tightened his grip on his dick and jerked on it harder and faster. The more he pulled, the further away his climax seemed. He didn’t care that the tight grip hurt his knuckles as well as his cock. All he cared about was remembering how sweet it had been inside her tight pussy as he’d come deep inside of her.

  Fuck!

He hadn’t used a condom. Hadn’t even thought of it despite having one in his fucking wallet. He was clean, and so was Landon, but there was no excuse for being stupid with Alice’s body. What if she wasn’t on birth control? What if she got pregnant? What would they do then?

Instead of softening his shaft, the thought of her pregnant with his kid had him harder than he’d ever been in his life. What kind of shit was that? He’d never planned to be a father. Look what kind of man he was. More often than not he was pissed at the world. That sure as hell wasn’t how a dad should be. Even his old man had been good to him despite his gruff manner. Ben wasn’t nice to anyone. He sure as hell hadn’t been nice to Alice.

After what felt like forever, Ben squeezed his balls hard enough to hurt, and he finally shot cum down the shower stall and into his aching hand. It was what he needed as tears coursed down his cheeks and he leaned panting against the back wall of the shower. He told himself it was from the pain he’d caused with his damaged knuckles and the grip on his dick, but deep down where it mattered, he knew the truth.

After the men left, Alice worked hard on insurance claims and documentation requests all afternoon long. She’d played with Sassy until the poor thing fell over with exhaustion then tucked her safely inside her new oyster bed to rest. She refused to let one thought of either of the two men enter her head as she buried herself in the only thing she could ever count on, work.
