“Hello,” said Stacey. I was glad she’d stopped her unending chatter. Marissa went through the housekeeping steps. Everything from making sure no one was in the room while knocking and entering, to cleaning the toilets. After the intro, I insisted that Stacey do the actual cleaning and then Marissa would judge whether or not she did a good job.

At first, Stacey seemed to take it all in stride. She dusted the room, changed the bed, returned the furniture to their previous positions and even cleaned the toilet. But when it came to the shower, she started to gag. The previous guest must’ve been very hairy. There were pubic hairs all over the tub. Marissa had given her gloves to use, but this didn’t seem to help Stacey.

During the cleaning, she absentmindedly put her hand to her face, forgetting that she had the glove on. She scratched her nose, but only succeeded in getting the pubic hair on her face.

“Oh, my God!” she squealed. “Oh, God! I’m going to barf!”

“Don’t do it in the toilet,” said Marissa. “You just cleaned it.”

After her minor meltdown, she managed to take some deep breaths, compose herself and continue. But Stacey had clearly had enough. At least she wasn’t making terrible jokes anymore. By the end of it, she started to ask if she could take an early lunch and I was inclined to give it to her just so I could get a break. But then, something really weird happened.

With both their backs turned to each other, Marissa bumped into her during the final steps of the cleaning process. She immediately apologized, but Stacey stumbled and fell over onto the bathroom floor. This was too much for the hotel princess.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” she snapped. “I help you and you knock me over? This is my father’s hotel! I could have you deported! You’re not even from this country!”

“Whoa-whoa-whoa!” I had to raise my voice to immediately put a halt to her threats. “You cannot threaten an employee that way! Are you out of your mind?”

  “She pushed me down, Davis!”

“Wrong. I was standing right here, it was an accident!”

“This is my father’s hotel,” she reiterated. “If I want someone fired, they’ll get fired.”

“No, they won’t,” I countered. “Wendell trusts my judgment. You’re just an intern, you absolutely do not get to making hiring and firing decisions. You will apologize to Marissa or I will call your father and get you gone.”

“I’m sorry, Marissa,” she apologized, unable to look the woman in the eye. “I lost my temper. I’m so sorry. It won’t happen again. Please, Davis, don’t call my dad. I just— This is hard for me, okay? I’m still adjusting. I’m so sorry, everyone.”

I honestly didn’t expect such a turn around, but Stacey was nearly crying.

  “You okay?” I asked Marissa.

Marissa nodded, eyes wide. I felt like an ass for putting her in harm’s way. In Stacey’s way. Marissa’s seen a lot in this job but hopefully we’ve never made her fear for her safety like Stacey did in just a few short minutes.

“Alright, Stacey,” I said. “We all make mistakes. Relax. Why don’t we take a break? Get a drink of water. Thank you for your time, Marissa.” I made a mental note to pad her Christmas bonus with a little something extra this year.

I left Stacey in the break room to gather her thoughts. Maybe this would be the turning point for her. Guess she was still a college kid mentally, even if she was 28 years old. Jesus, though. She simply falls over and in return, threatens to rip a person out of their job and home? That’s vicious, even for a spoiled rich brat. I found the flask hidden in my desk and took a sip of bourbon.

“Tough day?” asked Trigg with a raised eyebrow, seeing me drink.

“Stacey’s a handful,” I said. “Threatened to deport Marissa.”

“Holy shit!” said Trigg, wincing. “She went beyond princess with that.” He shakes his head in bewilderment. “Hey, let’s try to beef up Marissa’s Christmas bonus or something and hey, it also occurs to me that we probably shouldn’t tell Hallie— ”

“Yep, I’m with you. Hopefully, she’ll just finish her six weeks and we’ll never see her again,” I said wearily.

“You do know her father will want her to work here, right?”

Actually, I had not thought of that. Although, honestly, Stacey struck me as a girl who didn’t want to work at all. She acted like her sole aim was to sink her hooks into some guy and let him pay her way. Maybe that’s why she was here all along, not to get a job, but to get a husband.

“God forbid,” I muttered. “Okay, back to work. We cool on occupancy today?”

“Yeah, the numbers are fine,” assured Trigg. “Thank God nothing is wrong with the hotel today.”

I went back into the break room and Stacey seemed calmer. She continued to shadow me for the rest of the day at meetings with the kitchen staff and maintenance. Mercifully, she didn’t try to make a joke or ask questions meant to highlight her wit and grace. Now that’d be a joke! Maybe she was finally trying to learn.

With everything that happened with Hallie the night before, I was anxious to ditch Stacey at the end of the day. The very last thing I needed was for her to get wind of what happened. If Wendell heard, that could be big trouble. I mean, we were solid with Wendell, don’t get me wrong, but who needs the grief and hassle of trying to explain— Well, I couldn’t even explain it yet.

“All right Stacey,” I said when returning back to the office. She had tailed me to my desk, unfortunately. I took note of Hallie busy typing away and ignoring us. “You can head out for the day.”

“Thanks,” she said, her voice unusually even. “Uh, Davis, I was about to go get some dinner. Maybe we could go together and you can answer some questions?”

  “Oh, I, uh…” I stammered.

Across the room, Hallie looked up and met my gaze. She had overheard the exchange.

“Actually, I have a dinner meeting,” I explained.

“Mr. Jones called,” offered Hallie, helping to sell the lie. “He says he should be on time.”

“Thanks Hallie,” I added. “And please grab your notebook. I’m going to need you to come and take notes on the meeting.”

“You got it, boss,” said Hallie, gathering her things and picking up a notebook.

“Oh, well, if you’re busy…” said Stacey, now herself uncomfortable. “See you tomorrow.”

Hallie joined me at my side and we headed out the front doors, walking briskly. I could feel Stacey still had her eye on us. We got into one of the waiting cabs in the hotel parking lot. As I piled into the back seat, I looked back to the lobby’s glass doors, where Stacey stood watching us. She looked away. I’m pretty sure she wanted more than just dinner with me. No thanks!

“Thanks for the save,” I said to Hallie next to me in the backseat. “A little bit of Stacey goes a long way.”

“You’re telling me,” said Hallie with a look that said volumes.

“Driver, we’re going to Sparrow’s Steakhouse,” I commanded.

“You can drop me off at my apartment,” piped Hallie.

“But I need you for notes,” I protested.

Hallie looked perplexed. I put my hand on her thigh.

“Or maybe I just need good company with real adults,” I said. “Please, I’ve had a tough day. Let us buy you dinner at least.”

“I suppose,” agreed Hallie. “But just dinner this time and no drinks!”

“I swear,” I agreed, holding up my hand in promise.

“So Stacey really gave it to one of the housekeeping staff?” she asked.

“Yeah, beyond rude,” I confirmed. “I made her clean a hotel room and the housekeeper had to give her final approval.”

“Ho, boy! I’ll bet she hated that!” laughed Hallie.

“How was the job today?” I asked. “Are you settling into a routine?”

“Yeah,” she said, nodding and pleasantly surprised. “I mean, other than the rough morning, it was a really good day. All the guests seemed happy and the mai
ntenance guys finally figured out what was wrong with the pool filter.”

“What was wrong with it?” I asked.

“Dead animal deep inside it,” said Hallie, making a disgusted face.

“Oh, no! The guests didn’t see, did they?”

“I don’t think so. They had a garbage bag and it was early in the day, so no one was in the pool yet. Plus it was already closed for cleaning anyway,” Hallie explained. “I think you’re good.”

“Gross. Did any of the guests complain about the pool water or the smell?” I asked.

“No,” said Hallie. “I even checked the recent online comments. You have three other filters in that pool and you clean it every day, so the impact had to be minimal. Plus, whatever died in there was deep in there.”

  “Really?”

“Yeah, Stan couldn’t reach it with his arm, he needed like a special grabbing pole to get at it.”

“Good Lord,” I said. “I’m almost glad I got stuck with Stacey now. At least she didn’t see that. It’s amazing how many things happen at a hotel that guests simply must not see, that would be really bad.”

“Yeah, like the bosses making out with their secretary,” she joked.

I laughed heartily at that. It was a big relief. That Hallie could even joke about yesterday was a sure sign the situation wasn’t as bad as I thought. I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. Maybe I should listen to Trigg more. He read the situation better than I did.

We arrived at Sparrow’s Steakhouse. It was one of those old school steak restaurants that opened in the 1950’s and had its own brand of steak sauce. The atmosphere was classy, but not overly so. The prices were still something a family could afford, but there was also a really nice bar.

The inside was lots of dark woods. It was kind of like going back in time, except no one was smoking. I asked and Hallie wasn’t a vegan (thank God!) so we were good to go. We met Trigg at a table in the back. I could see that he looked relaxed too. I was beginning to think this would all work out for all of us. My earlier rants had been premature. Later, I was going to have to apologize to Trigg for being so paranoid. Between the two of us, we’ve always been lucky and this time was no exception.

“All right,” said Trigg as we sat down and grabbed our menus. “Let’s eat some steak!”

  Chapter 8

  Hallie

We sat down at the steakhouse, which had a great atmosphere. But the real atmosphere was between Davis, Trigg and I. Last night’s awkwardness just evaporated and I was quietly kicking myself for handling it so badly. God, I was such a baby. Locking myself in my bedroom? What was I thinking?

Sparrow’s had fantastic steaks. Their signature side dish was bone marrow, which I had never had before. They brought you a little knife so you could scoop it out and spread it on some bread. It was really interesting. I felt like a real carnivore!

“So what’s your deal with Stacey?” Trigg asked about half way through the meal. “Did she steal an old boyfriend or what?”

“No,” I said, looking away. “We went to high school together, but we were kind of rivals. I mean, we definitely weren’t friends. But since then, I look so different, I don’t think she recognizes me at all.”

“That’s not surprising,” quipped Davis. “If it’s not about her, I don’t think she cares.”

“We should probably tell you something about Stacey you don’t know yet,” began Trigg, his voice serious.

He made eye contact with Davis, who nodded, giving him the go ahead.

“Stacey’s dad is the owner of ME. We work for him,” explained Trigg solemnly.

“You know, I almost expected that,” I admitted, glad that I didn’t have much of a reaction to the news. “She was always rich and I knew her family owned a hotel. Makes sense.”

“We were a little worried that revelation would upset you,” said Davis.

“Stacey doesn’t even recognize me,” I shrugged. “I’m like a whole new person she can ignore.”

Davis spent the rest of the meal talking about his horrible day with Stacey, while Trigg and I made snide comments about her and her behavior. I mean, those lame jokes? Talk about insecure.

Guess I shouldn’t talk, since I was sometimes insecure too. The thing was, Stacey was the cause of all my insecurities. Getting in on a little ribbing is harmless, right? I mean, it’s not like I’m putting her down in front of people who like her.

I stayed away from alcohol and the boys did too. When the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert, I declined, but Trigg convinced me that I had to try their chocolate lava cake. I agreed to share it with them and ordered some coffee.

When the cake arrived, it was covered in a layer of fresh whipped cream. Trigg stuck his finger in it and licked it with obvious delight. Then he did it again and offered it to me. I licked his finger and surprised us both by sucking on it a little. Davis took a little stab to its outer shell with his fork, letting the smooth, creamy chocolate inside burst forth like a river. He got his fork good and wet with it and offered it to me, putting his hand underneath to keep the drippings from falling.

The cake was stunning. I don’t know if it was the rush of sugar or the chocolate or both, but the entire feeding process was turning me on. I fed some to Trigg and he licked the fork with his tongue. I fed some to Davis, and got some on his chin. I wiped with my fingers and then he licked my fingertips clean.

This wasn’t the alcohol. There had been no alcohol. We looked at each other with recognition. The three of us knew where this was going.

“You guys want to go back to my place?” offered Trigg.

“Yes,” I said, as Davis nodded.

They paid the check and we scrambled out of there. There was no pretending now. We were going back to Trigg’s place to have sex and there was no backing out. I wanted this. I had always wanted this. From the moment I saw them both, this had to be. My heart pounded with nervous excitement, but the terror from yesterday had evaporated.

Trigg had an adorable dog, who he shut in a room so he wouldn’t bother us. We went straight to his bedroom. There was absolutely no pretense now. Finally, we felt at ease with our needs. I kissed Davis hard, tasting his tongue and chocolate dessert. He nibbled my neck, as I started to unbutton his shirt.

Trigg came up behind me. I could feel him unzipping my skirt in the back. It fell to the floor. I pulled Davis’s shirt open. He was fantastically ripped, and his manly muscles made the erotic anticipation for me all that more delicious. Trigg caressed my back, nibbling at my shoulders and started to slowly pull down my panties. Davis flopped down on the edge of the bed and I could see that his cock was hard under his pants.

Standing right in front of him, Davis now reached up and started massaging my now naked and waiting pussy lips. I loved how his big rough fingers felt against my folds, already slick. He slid a finger inside. Then two. He then started to slowly finger fuck me, while massaging my clit with his thumb. Jesus, he felt good.

Trigg was behind me. He licked his pinky finger and slowly inserted it into my asshole. The sensations surprised me. I squealed a little and laughed nervously.

“You like that?” asked Trigg, his mouth at the nape of my neck. “You like me to play with your tight little ass?”

He licked his forefinger and stuck it in a little deeper. I could feel my anus stretch and was already tingling in my vagina. I couldn’t tell if that was the fingerfucking or the ass play, but I was liking both—at the same time.

They rubbed and kissed and licked and moaned. I was the object of their desire. Both of these picture-perfect men were completely dedicated to pleasuring me. The very thought was making me light-headed as their red-hot hands drove my body to ecstasy. I amazed myself by not collapsing when I felt the heat building deep inside me.

“Oh, God, yes! Yes!” I shouted as I came.

My juices ran all over Davis’s hand. He pulled his fingers out of me and licked them sensually.

“I love the taste of you,” he said.
You taste sweet. Like ambrosia.”

“Oh, yeah? Let me taste you.”

I bent down to unzip Davis’s fly. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Trigg getting on his knees. I wasn’t sure what he was doing until he gently pulled apart my butt cheeks and stuck his tongue in my crack and in my asshole. I had never experienced the sensation before. His hot, warm tongue explored the inner reaches of my ass. It made my vagina start flowing again.

Pulling down Davis’s fly, his cock pushed out, still trapped in his underwear. I pulled it free and stroked the shaft with my hand. I put my tongue on the tip.

“Is this what you’ve been waiting for?” I asked.

  “Oh, God, yes!” he said.

I sucked the head and rolled my tongue along the bottom. Then I repressed my gag reflex and took him deeply. I went as far down the shaft as I could with my mouth. I was gagging and moaning, as Trigg continued to eat my ass. It was so intimate. So sensual.

Davis took both sides of my head and gently guided it up and down.

“Oh, yeah. I want to fuck your mouth,” he moaned. “So good. I don’t think I can stand it. Oh, God! I’m going to cum!”

He started to pull my head away, but I resisted. His hot cum exploded into my mouth. I wanted to taste him and consume his essence. His seed was warm and creamy. I rubbed his cock across my wet lips, sending his head rolling back from the feeling, which was all the stronger now that he was more sensitive after his orgasm.

“Oh, God, that’s so good. So good,” he muttered.

I stood up. Davis was lying back on the bed, dazed, taking a break. I turned around toward Trigg, who’s hands had not stopped caressing my body. Without hesitating, we both kissed each other. It didn’t matter. We were beyond whatever weird hang ups one might have in an erotic group setting. All that mattered was that our mouths were hungry for each other. Our torsos entwined as feasted on the kisses of the other, grinding our loins and feeling up each other.
