Taming Emilio (Buried Secrets Book 2)

“Why are we in the kitchen?” Emilio asked as he kneeled on the chair resting on his heels.
“We’re going to talk about today.” Kaden made Emilio chocolate milk.
“Okay.” Emilio smiled when he set the glass of milk with a straw in front of him. “Did Rafe tell you I like chocolate milk?”
Kaden nodded. “It was in your file, and I think you could use it now.”
“Thanks.” Emilio wondered why Rafe would add that to his file. Odd. He’d like to read the file Rafe had sent to Kaden.
Kaden sat across from him. “You’re never to place yourself in danger. As you can see, there’s a consequence for your actions. I gave you a set of guidelines for you to follow. I’d appreciate you working with me so we’re both a team for your protection.”
“I get that now. I was upset with the conversation.” Emilio sucked on the straw.
“Just as you need to share your feelings, I’ll be sharing my thoughts with you. I thought I could discuss Valerik with you. I didn’t like James telling me about Valerik and you. I wasn’t sure if it was true or not. I didn’t mean to upset you. For that, I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry too. It won’t happen again.”
“Good, because truth matters.”
“What are we going to do now?” Emilio wanted to make sure Kaden was okay with him, but he had to admit he wasn’t too happy with his punishment.
“I’m tired from driving and the problems from today. Let’s go to bed. Everyone will be here tomorrow.”
Emilio followed Kaden to bed, but instead of going to sleep, Kaden read a book to him.
“Tomorrow night is your turn,” Kaden said.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Emilio
In the morning, Kaden and Emilio waited outside for everyone to show up. Emilio was looking forward to talking to Alek, Rafe’s new guy, who he had met at the party.
“Look, Rafe and Alek are here,” Emilio said, getting up from the rocking chair in front of the cabin. He waited for Kaden to step up beside him, and together they welcomed the two men.
“Hey, it’s great to see you again,” Emilio said.
“You were right about Rafe,” Alek whispered to Emilio.
“Let’s unpack first. Then after, you’ll have time to talk with Emilio,” Rafe said to Alek.
About an hour later, Rafe and Alek returned. Rafe remained standing when Alek sat on the porch steps beside Emilio. Kaden was setting up the grill not far from their cabin. Emilio enjoyed watching Kaden while he waited for everyone to show up.
“Hey, is everything okay between you and Kaden?” Rafe asked.
“Perfect,” Emilio said, hoping Kaden hadn’t mentioned what had happened yesterday, especially his punishment. Rafe didn’t need to know that.
“Are you sure?” Rafe asked.
“Did Kaden say it wasn’t?” Emilio pushed the issue to determine if Kaden had said something to Rafe.
“No. I haven’t talked to him since last night. Remember, I’m here if you need me.”
“We’re doing great. You found a good one for me,” Emilio said. He wanted to know if Rafe had been involved in Kaden’s selection of him. He’d hate to think Rafe had forced Kaden to be with him, but Kaden acted like he wanted Emilio. Either both Rafe and Kaden were good actors, or Kaden had picked him on his own. Emilio certainly hoped Kaden and Rafe had been telling the truth. Why wasn’t he more secure about himself? He needed to stop looking for trouble and making himself miserable.
“Emilio, listen to me carefully. I didn’t find Kaden for you, nor did I force Kaden to take you on. He found you on his own at the party. I don’t get involved with any of the protectors’ choices,” Rafe said.
“Just kidding.” Emilio hadn’t expected Rafe to respond so passionately in his defense—albeit with a hint of irritation in his tone.
Rafe ruffled Emilio’s hair. “Be good.”
When Rafe left them to help Kaden, Emilio asked Alek, “So how did it go with Rafe?”
“He’s hot. I mean, I didn’t expect to like my protector,” Alek said.
“I’m in love with Kaden already, but that’s how I am.” Emilio watched Rafe stand close to Kaden. Rafe had told Emilio Kaden and he had been friends in the Marines, but at times, they acted like more than friends. Emilio wondered if they’d ever been a couple. Two tops. How would that work?
“You mean if they’re a good fuck, then you’re in love?” Alek asked with a smirk.
“Pretty much.” Emilio shouldn’t have opened himself for judgment. He was ashamed to be seen as what he was. Alek had hit his weakness, and Emilio had given him the tools to do it.
“Hey, it’s okay. I used to be like you when I was younger.” Alek lit a cigarette.
“You’re only four years older than me.” Emilio noticed Alek’s dark hair had faded to blond. He must have used temporary dye on his hair because it was all gone.
“Four years make a big difference at our ages. Do you want a cigarette?”
“No, I prefer pot to cigarettes,” Emilio said.
James interrupted their conversation by introducing green-eyed cutie Dante. Kaden had told him that Dante was twenty-four years old and needed protection from his old gang. He still looked and sounded like a gangbanger, but he wasn’t wearing his blue bandana anymore. Rafe had removed it from him at the party, and then he had asked Valerik what he was thinking by allowing Dante to wear it. Apparently wearing a bandana when you were hiding from a gang was a no-go for James and Rafe. Emilio had to admit it had been a stupid move on Dante’s part. This guy had Aztec-patterned tats circling his upper arms. He wore light-colored baggy pants stopping right below the knees with a neatly pressed white T-shirt and white knee socks like a gangbanger.
After Emilio finished sizing Dante up, he turned his attention to James who was smiling at him. But his smile was more than that to Emilio. It was contagious, causing Emilio to smile just by the glimpse of him. Chills ran down his back and made him feel things he shouldn’t. Originally, Emilio had wanted James, but now he was more than content with Kaden. So, why was he feeling something by looking at James?
James said, “You guys get to know each other while I help Kaden.” James turned to Dante. “Keep your pants up, boy.”
“Yes, Sir,” Dante said, lowering his eyes.
“Those gang clothes will be replaced this week,” James said.
“Yes, Sir.”
When James left them sitting on the steps, Dante said, “James is my Dom, and he’s very strict, but I feel safe with him.”
“James will definitely keep you safe. He saved me in San Diego,” Emilio said, realizing he shouldn’t have mentioned it to Dante by the disturbed look on his face. What Emilio needed to do was to think before he opened his mouth around here. Looking at how well built Dante was, Emilio knew he wouldn’t have a chance in hell to defend himself. Dante was packed with solid muscles, but not bulky. But a gangbanger? He’d like to know if Dante and his gang had to fuck the same girl to join the gang. He had heard stories of the savage behavior of gang initiations. Was Dante one of them or a wannabe gangbanger? He had known plenty of the wannabe gangsters at school. Dante looked like he might have been the real deal. One thing Emilio hadn’t heard before, though, was a gay gangbanger. So, maybe Dante was a wannabe one and had gotten himself in trouble for being gay or refusing to fuck a girl? Why were they chasing him?
“Were you his ex-sub?” Dante asked. His rather stunning eyes stood out like emerald jewels in the sunlight.
Among gang members, a stare was considered hostile or threatening, and Dante was glaring at Emilio in that way. Was he challenging him to fight over James?
“No. I barely know him.”
“Is that so?” Again, he shot a death stare at Emilio.
“Last week, I called my cousin Rafe to ask him for help. Someone was after me, and he sent James because he happened to be in the area at the time. Rafe was in Ojai, which was a four-hour trip.”
“Did James fuck y
ou?” Dante asked with a threatening tone in his voice.
“No way! He’s not interested in me. I have my own protector, who I’m madly in love with. Do you see that blond hunk at the grill?” Emilio pointed to Kaden. “That’s Kaden, and we’re bonded.”
“Hey, I didn’t mean to dis you, bro. I know James fucked around before me, but you looked at him like he had fucked you before. Sorry.”
“No problem,” Emilio said. “I’ve been with Kaden for a week.”
“So far, Rafe is making my life interesting,” Alek said.
“James is everything I’ve ever wanted, and I wouldn’t want anyone interfering.” Dante looked at Alek.
Emilio remembered that Alek had given James a blow job at the party. Alek felt rejected by James too. Here was Dante, who won James’s attention, threatening them in some odd way, even though he was the prizewinner.
“This society’s physical discipline is a bit off the charts,” Alek said.
“I’ve already experienced it,” Emilio said. “I don’t think I want a repeat of Kaden’s belt whipping my bare ass.”
Dante laughed. “I’m James’s new sub, so I’ll be getting my ass whipped for various reasons. He has so many rules I’m bound to forget some of them.”
“I don’t think I’m going to like that either,” Alek said.
“I have some pot hidden. We can smoke it when we’re alone. I’m sure they’ll have meetings without us,” Dante said.
“That sounds like a good deal to me,” Emilio said.
“I’m in,” Alek said.
Alek handed a cigarette and his lighter to Dante.
“Thanks,” Dante said. “James gave me a BDSM book to read, and it’s really good stuff. I’ll let you borrow it after I finish it.”
“Sure. Thanks,” Alek said.
“When Alek’s done, you can borrow it too if you want,” Dante said.
As they sat there smoking, Valerik showed up with red-haired Liam. Kaden had told Emilio Liam was the same age as he was.
“Hey, boys, this is Liam,” Valerik said. “He’s new like you guys are.”
Valerik smiled at Emilio before he joined the others at the grill. Valerik still owed him a fuck, but Emilio had a mind that wound itself in knots. Why did his mind even go there? He wasn’t going to allow that, not with Kaden in his life. He’d never cheat on Kaden. He wished he knew how to stop thinking bullshit thoughts that would only bring chaos and trouble if he acted on any of them.
“I can’t believe anyone would be chasing you,” Emilio said to Liam.
“I’m running from the police. My parents turned me in for their crime. I’m not going to prison for them, so I ran away from home and hid out. A guy I met on the streets told me about the society. Rafe took me in for free because I was homeless and had nothing to my name.”
“My uncle wants me dead along with some other people I worked with. I kind of know how you feel. By the way, Rafe is my cousin. He’s really good when gay guys are in trouble. He’s the guardian angel of abused gay young men. I’m glad he found a place for you,” Emilio said.
“Rafe was my guardian angel, for sure. I guess we all have reasons for being here,” Liam said.
“Do you like Valerik?” Dante asked.
“Yep. He’s been good to me so far, which is only one day. He’s been telling me all kinds of stories about Russia and Ukraine. I really like him a lot.”
“Are you going to bond with him?” Alek asked.
“I think we will, but he said we have to wait two weeks before we bond.”
“Two weeks?” Emilio asked.
“He wants to make sure I want him and not just need him. We have a big age difference.”
“Does that mean he won’t fuck you for two weeks?” Dante asked.
“He fucked me last night and this morning.” Liam’s face reddened.
“I think these protectors are here for the free fucking,” Dante said.
“Kaden fucked me right away, so yes, he’s here for that, but he also likes protecting me, and he takes his job seriously,” Emilio said.
“We all have older protectors,” Alek said.
Liam looked at the men at the grill area. Emilio hadn’t thought about their ages and the age span. Dante was right that they all had older men protecting them. Emilio didn’t really care about age. To be honest, he’d rather have someone much older protecting him than someone his own age. It all made sense to him, and he liked the way Kaden made him feel when they were in bed.
“I’m glad you guys are here. Kaden and I were here for a week alone. It was great. He taught me so many things in a week, and we got closer. I only fucked up once.”
“And are you bonded?” Liam asked.
“Yes, we sure are. I hope Valerik and you bond too,” Emilio said, praying Liam never found out what he and Valerik had done before the first party.
“Thanks. I hope so too.”
James broke up their conversation. At first, he didn’t say a word, only stared motionlessly straight at Dante. Why was he standing there? Stop overthinking. I don’t want to get gray hairs over other people’s shit. Not my problem.
“Have you absolutely lost your mind?” James shouted.
“What did I do wrong, Sir?” Dante asked.
“Watch your tone.”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Put that damn cigarette out,” James ordered.
Dante stood and stomped it out on the grass. He looked clueless that he had broken a rule by smoking. Had he forgotten James’s rules? Kaden had said James dished out cruel punishments. Emilio would have died and left for China if Kaden had humiliated him in public like this, especially since Dante had just met them. He came off as a tough guy, but he caved in around James. It was a bit of a turnon to watch the dynamic of their relationship. James seemed pleased with Dante’s submission. Emilio understood the difference from his relationship with Kaden and Dante’s with James. Dante’s relationship with James had taken pleasing your man to higher levels foreign to Emilio.
“Pick it up and trash it properly,” James demanded.
Dante found the nearest trash can, threw it away, and returned, then stood at attention. He lowered his beautiful eyes. Maybe he was too embarrassed to look at them, or James had demanded him to lower his eyes unless he had permission to look directly at him. This scene was similar to some of the gay porn Emilio had watched at home. Only it wasn’t acting. It was real.
“Follow me, boy.” With a scowl, James stomped toward their cabin. Dante walked two steps behind like a wooden soldier.
Emilio covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing. It wasn’t funny, but he had never witnessed such a scene with two grown men. Some of his customers had shouted orders to Emilio but they had paid to play. The key word was play. Were they playing too? It seemed real to Emilio.
“Damn, he’s mean,” Liam said.
“James is his Dom, so he’s probably going to discipline him for smoking.” Emilio clenched his ass cheeks as he remembered his own whipping.
“He could have warned him,” Alek said.
“Kaden said he dishes out really tough punishments,” Emilio said.
Kaden walked over to the cabin and looked at Emilio, who stared at how Kaden’s tight black short-sleeve T-shirt accentuated his muscled arms. Emilio wanted to melt into his arms. He missed their fuck breaks during the day. Would Kaden slow down their fuck breaks because he preferred to be with Rafe and the other protectors?
“Go inside. I need you to help me with something for dinner,” Kaden said, grinning. Emilio knew that look. That was his “I want to fuck you” face.
Emilio stood.
“He’ll be back shortly,” Kaden said to the others.
Emilio trailed behind him to the bedroom.
“Are we going to cook in here?” Emilio asked with a grin on his face.
“How about a quickie?” Kaden asked.
Emilio nodded and pulled his zipper down.
“I was watching you, an
d I couldn’t wait any longer for you. I’m used to us being alone all day.”
“I’m glad you remembered our midday fuck break,” Emilio said.
Kaden shoved Emilio’s jeans down and then unzipped his own jeans.
“I want you in the doggie position with your head touching the floor.”
Emilio managed to get himself in the position Kaden wanted. Emilio felt Kaden’s lubed cock against his opening, pressing gently, moving in and out, then deeper. At first there was a brief flare of pain, and he felt like he would never be able to take all of Kaden’s cock with such little lube. Then Emilio forced himself to relax as Kaden’s cock passed the ring of muscle and grazed his prostate. He reached for his cock and stroked it while Kaden’s thrusts went deeper and faster.
The pain of penetration was replaced by the soreness of his ass as Kaden took him hard, slamming into him. Emilio listened to Kaden breathing fast and then gasping as he came. His sounds prompted Emilio to release his cum into his hand. After a moment, Kaden pulled out of him and went to the bathroom to wipe himself. When he came back, he used a wet washcloth to clean up Emilio. Kaden held him again, kissing him.
“I love fucking you,” Kaden said.
“I’m available anytime for you,” Emilio said.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Kaden
Everything had changed when they had moved from Fawnskin. The much smaller living space challenged all of them, but they couldn’t have stayed in Fawnskin. After the narrow escape with Sara infiltrating the group for Rafe’s father, Kaden had worried about Emilio being in the Escobar Drug Cartel’s line of fire along with Rafe and Mateo. Rafe had made a good call; the only call that could have been made. Safety before comfort must be their priority, and so far, it was.
Kaden told Rafe he needed to speak to him alone. They left Emilio and Alek at the campfire with the others. In silence, they walked side by side through the grassy area, following the worn-out path to the brook. Dead grass crunched beneath their shoes. The sun slowly faded while the colors of the sky changed from light blue to darker hues. They passed over the stream, stepping over the washed-clean stones without getting wet. They settled in a small area on a large stump facing the babbling brook.
