“Me too. I didn’t want to say anything.”

Valerik came out first with his carryon, and Liam ran to him. A few more people walked out, and finally Kaden appeared. He’d tied his long blond hair into a ponytail. Emilio caught sight of Kaden in his tight jeans and a white long-sleeve shirt, and his cock twitched in his underwear. The view was enough for any man to drop to his knees. Emilio rushed to Kaden. As he got closer, he noticed Kaden’s face was bruised. Kaden took Emilio into his arms, not showing too much affection because he had told Emilio he didn’t do affection in public to keep safe from homophobes.

“I’m glad to be back with you,” Kaden said.

“Me, too. What happened to your face?” Emilio asked

  “I bumped into a door.”

They all took turns hugging each other, then climbed into the van and drove to the huts.

When they arrived, James and Mateo stopped cooking and rushed to Valerik and Kaden. Alek stood beside Rafe. Dante and Anouska were setting the picnic table. All Emilio wanted was to take Kaden to their hut and roll around in bed.

Kaden took Emilio’s hand, walked him to the picnic table, and sat down.

“I know what you want, and don’t worry. We’re going in after we eat,” Kaden said.

“I want you inside me,” Emilio whispered.

  “Soon, very soon.”

Rafe stood at the end of the table.

“I want to give you all the heads-up. We’ll be leaving here in a week. We need to settle down, and this time we’ll be moving back to California to one of Mr. Donagan’s properties. The Big Bear one. I don’t want to return to New Jersey in the winter.” Rafe took a seat beside Alek.

“So you talked to my father about this?” Kaden asked.

“Didn’t he tell you?” Rafe asked.

  “No, he didn’t.”

Kaden looked angry with Rafe for not discussing it with him, but he probably didn’t want to make a fuss in front of everyone. “Emilio, are you happy about moving back to California?” Kaden asked.

  “Hell, yeah,” Emilio said.

Rafe walked over to them. “Kaden, we need to talk in the morning,” he said with a stern face.

  “Sure.”

“Without Emilio.” Rafe’s voice remained firm.

  “Got it.”

With that, Kaden left with Emilio for their hut and straight to the bedroom.

  “Come here,” Kaden ordered.

  Immediately, Emilio stood before Kaden.

He fiddled with Emilio’s zipper for a moment. Kaden slipped his hand inside the waistband and slid his jeans down to his ankles. Emilio bent down and stepped out of them.

  “Shirt.”

He removed his shirt and tossed it onto the bed. Kaden forced Emilio to his knees. The cool air felt good after the heat outside. All his attention centered on his cock’s need and submitting to Kaden. Rafe would be shocked if he saw him right now. He knew what Emilio had been doing, but it felt weird. The way Rafe had looked at Kaden was disturbing, and Emilio hoped nothing would happen between the two men.

“Did you think about my cock while I was gone?” Kaden rolled his eyes with humor, breaking Emilio from his gloomy thoughts.

“Well, you know,” Emilio mumbled. “I thought about lots of things.” He drew a deep breath and said, “I thought about sucking it and how much I missed your big cock, especially when I heard Rafe fucking Alek.” Emilio licked his lips in eager anticipation and of course, Kaden caught him doing that.

“Ew. That sucks. Sorry I had to be away.” Kaden’s anger from his conversation with Rafe dissipated.

  “I’m glad you’re back.”

“I bet I’m driving you crazy right now.” Kaden unzipped his jeans and released his erection.

“I can make you feel really good if you give me permission to suck you.” Emilio’s heated face tingled, and he’d bet that if he checked in the mirror, he would be fire-engine red. Kaden’s cock wasn’t just any cock; beyond it was the soul of the man Emilio loved and desired. His attraction ran deep to his core. He never did do superficial; he was incapable of that. Emilio truly had missed Kaden and never wanted to be apart again if he could help it.

  “Suck me.”

Emilio took Kaden’s cock into his mouth, stroked his balls gently, and licked around the head of his dick. He ran his tongue over the slit and painted the pearlescent precum over the head. The familiar taste excited him further. Kaden’s moans traveled to Emilio’s twitching cock and balls. He fondled and pinched his lover’s balls. His tongue swirled around Kaden’s large cockhead, and he dug his tongue into the slit. He hammered it in and out, invading his slit with deep, slow strokes, and then licked. Emilio continued sucking, ignoring his leaking cock. His primary concern was to get Kaden off, not himself.

“Ah...ah...ah...I’m gonna come.” Kaden pumped hard and fast inside Emilio’s mouth until he came and shot his cum down Emilio’s throat. When Kaden’s balls emptied, he released the pressure on Emilio’s head.

  “Swallow all of it.”

Emilio swallowed it every time, but Kaden consistently ordered him to swallow all of it as if he would spit it out or might refuse him.

  “Good job, my love.”

Kaden pulled his cock out of Emilio’s mouth, but Emilio took it back into his mouth and gently sucked it clean, swallowing any leftover cum. Kaden lifted Emilio up and took him to the bed. He undressed and kneeled on the bed between Emilio’s legs.

“I’m not done with you yet.”

“That’s good.” Emilio batted his eyelashes.

“Raise your legs up.” Kaden directed.

Emilio placed his legs over Kaden’s shoulders. Kaden rubbed his cock with lube, then massaged inside Emilio’s passage walls, wiggling his finger, barely grazing his prostate. He pushed a second finger in, then a third, fingering Emilio fiercely.

  “You okay?” Kaden asked.

“Yeah, I’m good.” Emilio’s cock stood tall and ready to enjoy his release.

Kaden pulled his fingers out and aimed his lubed cock at his target. Kaden squeezed Emilio’s hips with his hands while he pushed his cock against his tight opening. Emilio pushed out and flexed his hole. Kaden’s thick cock slid deeper into him until it was balls deep.

“Your ass…this ass of yours feels so good,” Kaden said.

“I love you inside me. So close.” Emilio’s eyes met Kaden’s.

“Because you belong to me.” He pounded harder and stroked Emilio’s cock.

“Fuck me harder,” Emilio begged, wanting to remember the lovemaking.

Kaden rammed his cock in and out repeatedly. Emilio had expected a little discomfort, but the rest was blissful. As Kaden moved back and forth inside, he kept hitting his prostate. The blood surged from his fingertips to his toes. Emilio tried to throttle down the dizzying current racing through him. His insides jangled with excitement from the closeness of Kaden’s heated body. He finally belonged to this handsome man.

Being so near Kaden made him want to please him more and never hurt him. He wanted their relationship to last.

  “Harder?” Rafe asked.

“Yeah, harder. I don’t want to forget it.”

Kaden picked up the pace. Emilio brushed his hair away from his face. Kaden’s motions got even more robust; his hands grabbed Emilio’s ass, pinching as he hammered him. The last grueling thrust sent Kaden exploding inside him. Shot after shot of his sperm painted the inside of him as Kaden’s dick rammed in and out while he kept shooting, marking him.

Emilio’s entire body trembled from the power of his orgasm. He’d never forget how blissful he felt. The room grayed out as all sensation focused on his cock shooting against his stomach.

Kaden released Emilio’s legs from his shoulders and rested beside him. They held on to each other until they stopped shaking. Kaden whispered into Emilio’s ear as he ran his fingers down his neck.

“I never want this to end between us. I feel so much better now that we fucked. We’re going t
o do this more often.”

“Yes, I want that too.” Emilio held Kaden a little tighter.

“How about I read you the rest of the story?” Kaden asked.

“I love when you read to me, and I’m waiting to see if those two guys get together.”

After Kaden cleaned them both up, he read the story from his phone until Emilio fell asleep.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

  Kaden

Kaden was still angry with Rafe for making a major decision without his input. His father hadn’t said a word to him about it either. Considering Kaden was co-owner, Rafe once again had forgotten he had promised him that he would discuss major changes first. Kaden was tense about the move. He was glad they would be returning to California, but he had wanted both of them to inform him of the change. Neither had felt the need to mention it.

In the morning, as requested, Kaden met with Rafe and Valerik at a small table outside away from the others who were at the beach. He hadn’t known Valerik would be at their meeting as well.

“What the fuck were you two really doing in San Diego?” Rafe asked.

“We met my father there,” Kaden said, not liking Rafe’s tone.

“Did your father hit you?” Rafe asked.

“No. I bumped into a door.” Kaden knew they should have stayed in California until his bruises healed as there was no hiding them. But Valerik wanted to see Liam, so they’d left the morning after they’d beaten Mr. Brooks and sent the police information on Marco’s Mules.

“Yes, that’s what happened,” Valerik said. “We had too much to drink.”

“Do I look stupid?” Rafe pounded his fist on the table.

“No one said you were stupid,” Kaden said.

“Don’t talk shit to me.” Rafe’s face turned angry red.

Valerik raised his eyebrows, and Kaden wondered if he should tell Rafe. They had argued over whether they should tell him the truth when they landed in Hawaii. Valerik didn’t like the idea of lying, but Kaden had wanted to keep the truth from Rafe. Kaden had to decide if he wanted to stop arguing or continue to lie. Valerik signaled to tell him by shaking his head. Of course, Valerik wanted to come clean to Rafe.

“We took care of some unfinished business,” Kaden said.

“Did you find Mr. Brooks or Marco?” Rafe asked.

  “Taken care of,” Kaden said.

“Why didn’t you tell me before you decided to do that?”

“Because you wouldn’t have approved it. I had to do this for Emilio.”

“But lying to me is fucked up. I wish I never told you about Emilio. If I can’t trust you, then Emilio can’t.”

“Oh, really. So you want him back now?” Kaden raised his voice.

“I don’t fucking trust you anymore. You either, Valerik.”

“You don’t always get to make every single decision,” Kaden said.

“If you didn’t have Emilio, I’d ask you to go to another group away from me.”

“I can make that happen now, but I’m taking Emilio,” Kaden said.

“I made a mistake letting you take Emilio, and making you co-owner.”

Emilio appeared out of nowhere and stared at Rafe. Emilio paled, raising a hand to cover his mouth as he took in the scene in front of him.

“What do you mean you let Kaden take me? You said he picked me—not that you gave me to him.” Emilio’s voice trembled.

“This is a private meeting. Why the hell are you here?” Rafe asked Emilio.

“I wanted to talk to Kaden.” Emilio moved beside Kaden.

“Speaking of major changes, why am I just hearing about this move to California? I’m the fucking co-owner, and we should be making this decision together.”

“I thought your father had mentioned it to you before he talked to me,” Rafe said.

“No. You went behind my back with that decision,” Kaden shouted.

“Why the fuck would I go behind your back? Oh, you mean like you just did?” Rafe shouted.

“Because that’s what you always do.”

“We’re not done.” Rafe stood and left.

“Kaden, did he tell you to pick me?” Emilio asked.

“No. We’ve discussed this many times. Rafe is angry at me, but it has nothing to do with you and me.” Kaden was furious with Rafe. Emilio didn’t need to be a part of their fight. Of course, Rafe had stood by Emilio and expected Emilio would choose his father over Kaden.

“Rafe said he made a mistake allowing you to take me. What does that mean?” Emilio inched closer to Kaden.

“Rafe meant that he should never have shown me your picture. When I said I wanted you, he was more than okay about us getting together. He’s changed his mind because he’s upset with me. I guess it’s all about power for him. I did something he didn’t know about.” Kaden stood.

“He shouldn’t have said that to you,” Emilio said.

“I think Rafe and I need some time apart.”

“I told you it was a bad idea to lie to him,” Valerik said.

“We didn’t really lie. We went to dinner with my father, and we stayed a little longer to finish some business. I just didn’t give him the specifics,” Kaden said.

“What are you going to do?” Valerik asked.

“I’m going back to our hut to talk to Emilio.” He took Emilio’s hand, and together they walked back to their hut.

“Sit down,” Kaden said when they got inside.

“What are you going to do about this?” Emilio asked.

“I’m leaving this group for a while, and I want to take you with me. Would you come?”

“I don’t know. What about Rafe?” Emilio looked disturbed.

“You’re going to have to choose between us. I’m leaving today. Are you coming or not?”

“I’m going with you, but should I call Rafe?”

“No. Don’t call him. He knows your number if he wants to get in touch with you. Pack up. I never unpacked.”

“I wish you and Rafe would make up. Why is he angry at you?”

“I had to take care of business like I said,” Kaden said.

  “What does that mean?”

  “Do you trust me?”

“Yes. I love you so much, but I know it’s more than business. Look at your bruised face.”

“I’ll tell you everything after we leave. Pack up. I’m going to book a flight.”

  “Where are we going?”

“It depends on what’s available from here tonight. Pack up.”

Emilio left Kaden to pack. Kaden’s phone rang.

  “What’s up?” Kaden asked.

“What happened with Rafe?” James asked.

“We need some time away from each other.”

  “What does that mean?”

“Emilio and I are going away for a while, away from the group.”

“Don’t do that. We need you here. We’re a family,” James said.

“We need time apart right now.”

“He’s going to be pissed if you take Emilio.”

“That’s too damn bad. He’s on some fucked-up power trip, and I’m not going to put up with his shit anymore. I’ve got to go.”

“Stay safe and stay out of jail,” James said.

“We will.” Kaden ended the call when Emilio carried his luggage to the living room.

“Are you sure I shouldn’t call him?” Emilio asked.

“You can call him when we land.”

  “Where are we going?”

“Huntington Beach, but we’ll land at John Wayne Airport. I rented a one-bedroom condo overlooking the ocean. We’re going to love it there.”

  “When are we leaving?”

“The cab is outside. Let’s go.”

“I guess I don’t have time to say goodbye to anyone.” Emilio followed Kaden out of the hut.

“No.” Kaden turned around. “If you don’t want to leave, you could stay with Rafe.”

“Now you don’t want me going with you?” Emilio teared up a bit.<
br />
“I want you to come, but I don’t want you to hold leaving the group against me.”

“I feel bad about leaving, but I want to be with you.”

“Rafe and I need some time away from each other. That’s all.”

They got into the back of the car and remained quiet until they arrived at the airport. Kaden’s phone was buzzing with messages from Rafe, but he didn’t want to deal with him right now. He needed time away from him.

Once they checked in, Emilio took the window seat. He loved traveling, and he was relieved he hadn’t changed his mind about staying with Rafe. When he thought about it, their problems revolved around Rafe trying to control him in any way he could. It had gotten so bad Kaden had broken up with him.

On the surface, Kaden had thought they weren’t compatible sexually, but it was far deeper than that. Once Rafe let go of his control issues, things worked out. He wasn’t about to allow Rafe to tell him how to protect Emilio. He couldn’t believe Rafe had brought up Emilio and their co-ownership of the Gay Protection Society. Suddenly Kaden wasn’t worthy of protecting Rafe’s son just because he’d had made a decision without consulting him. Kaden had known Rafe wouldn’t approve, but Emilio belonged to him. He turned to look at Emilio, who leaned his head against the window.

  “Are you okay?” Kaden asked.

“I feel like I did something wrong.”

  “You didn’t do anything wrong.”

“I didn’t tell Rafe we were leaving the group. He’s my father, and he has no idea where I am.”

“I already said you can call him when we land. I didn’t want him to come after us. I needed to make a statement.”

“How long will you need to make your statement?” Emilio asked.

“I don’t know, but we’re going to take this time to discuss BDSM and try out some things. We’ll have time with each other without any interruptions.”

“Can I ask you a question?” Emilio smiled.

“I will answer anything you ask.”

“Did you and Rafe ever fight like this before?” Emilio asked.

“Yes. Plenty of times. Things are different now because I’m co-owner of the Society. The problem is Rafe acts like he’s still the sole owner and he’s my boss.”

“Rafe has always been bossy. Mateo had problems with him over the same issue. They fought a lot, but Rafe loves his brother,” Emilio said.
