“Get me a towel so I can tie her leg off!”

Carmela dashed off to the bathroom to retrieve a towel. Her mind was spinning and her heart was beating like a drum. She knew all hell would break loose if Diego suddenly came home. The thought of that made her move even faster as she raced down the hallway back toward the room.

“Here’s the towel…ummm should I call 911?” Carmela rubbed her hands on her apron.

“No no don’t do that, I don’t want the police showing up here under any circumstances. I’ll take her to the hospital myself!”

“Is she going to live?” Carmela’s face was dripping with worry.

“I don’t know, she’s lost a lot of blood, do you know who she is?”

“I overheard your father and Armando; she’s here because of her son Tyce. They don’t think I hear but senora I hear everything.” Carmela pointed a finger to her ear.

The woman looked up at Carmela with a stunned expression on her face.

“What is it senora, did I say something wrong?”

“No no not at all, help me get her downstairs.”

Carmela stopped rubbing her hands on her apron long enough to touch the shoulder of her helpful angel.

“Thank you so much for coming Sabrina, you are a God send.”

Twenty minutes later a sleek black convertible Porsche came screeching to a halt outside the emergency room doors of the hospital. Sabrina hopped out and ran inside.

  “I need help here!”

The attendants looked up from their paperwork as she ran up to the counter.

“What’s the matter, are you hurt?” A male nurse rushed up to her from the side.

“No not me, I have a woman who’s been shot outside in my car, I think the bullet hit an artery or somethin’ cuz there’s blood everywhere!”

The male nurse nodded his head rapidly as he took in the information on the newest victim of the hour.

“I need a doctor out front now! Sheila get me an oxygen bag and set up an IV drip stat!” The man ran outside followed closely by Sabrina. “What’s her name?”

“I don’t know sir!” Sabrina answered like an army recruit.

Four men rushed out the automated doors within seconds pushing a hospital bed. They carefully lifted her limp body out of the passenger seat and placed her on the skinny white roller bed. Sabrina assumed the tall one was the doctor because he seemed to take charge as they wheeled her in. Sabrina stood next to her open car door as he shouted to the staff inside.

“We have a black female with a gunshot wound to the left thigh!”

  Crazy Sexy Cool

I walked into the Four Season’s hotel looking like a million bucks. I didn’t have on a Ralph Lauren purple label shirt or five thousand dollar slacks. I always felt that the man makes the clothes. Any cock sucking coward can buy some expensive clothes but that don’t make him a man. It’s the skin you’re in, the heart in your chest, and the balls below your waist that make you a man. I must say I was looking very mannish in a plain white fitted T-shirt paired with light blue jeans. The T-shirt let the bottom half of my biceps breathe showing off my tattoos while my jeans left plenty to the imagination. I never wore skinny jeans at all. The only piece of clothing I liked to fit that tight was my socks. I rarely wore underwear and today was no exception. I let my dick swing all day everyday…why cage a wild animal?

Everybody knew my face around here. This was my second home. At one time in my life, I was sleeping more in the hotel bed than in my own. So I spotted familiar faces as I walked through the lobby toward the elevators, faces that welcomed me back with polite smiles and slight nods of the head.

As the shiny elevator door closed, sealing me inside I looked at my reflection in the spotless chrome wall. I looked myself in the eyes; he looked back at me and winked as if to say, “I got you.” As the elevator rose to the 12 floor, I leaned my back against the wall. My gun pressed into my flesh letting me know it was close by.

The light for the 12 floor glowed and the polished doors opened up. The hallway was quiet as I approached the room Angelique had reserved at my request. Suite number 1207…I knocked six times letting her know it was me. Moments later, she opened the door and let me in.

  “Hi mom.”

Pamela reached up to hug my neck, “I’m so glad to see you, I was worried sick.”

“It’s good to see you too, I’m alright though.”

“Well I can see that.” Pamela patted my stomach.

“Come in, come in, sit down.”

I removed the gun from the small of my back and took a seat on the couch. Although my mother had been in this room constantly for the past few days it looked nice and clean.

“We have to talk Tyce.” She sat down next to me.

  “Wasup?”

“Diego has Gloria and she’s been shot!”

I shook my head, “Damn, is she dead?”

“I don’t know, I got a call from her this morning, I don’t want to assume the worst, but it doesn’t look good.”

“I thought she was supposed to have Armando arrested on attempted kidnapping charges when he showed up. What the hell happened?”

Pamela stood up pacing the floor. “Your plan was going smooth, the spyware was sent to his phone in a dummy mail order bride message so we knew every move he made. I talked to him when he called my office and I set the meeting up.”

I looked confused, “Ok, so what went wrong?”

  “I have no idea.”

“What about Armando’s phone? Can you track his location?” I asked optimistically.

Pamela shook her head and sighed, “I tried that, but it’s not responding, he must have disabled the software or something. Tyce…she said Diego wants to trade you for her. She also said he wants the 13 million dollars you stole from him or he’s going to kill her.”

“Did you try calling her back?”

“Of course I did, but it keeps going to voicemail, I don’t know what else to do. I feel so helpless stuck here in this hotel.”

I walked over to her and looked into her solemn blue eyes.

“You’re here because I knew Diego would come after you and I can’t allow that to happen. I’ll handle this shit…my way. Fuck Diego, he aint gettin’ shit back.”

My phone suddenly vibrated interrupting our important conversation. I took the phone out my pocket and smiled when I seen who it was.

  “Wasup babe, where are you?”

“I’m at home now, sorry I didn’t call you but I kinda had a wild night.”

“Yeah you had me worried when you didn’t come home this morning.”

“I know baby and I’m sorry. I’ll fill you in when I see you later. Hey ahhhh, Dallas brought me up to speed on the latest…I hear we’re eight million dollars richer.”

“That woman has a whole in her lip, she can’t hold water.”

  “Shit you know Dallas.”

“Yeah I know, hey I don’t mean to cut you short but I got somethin’ brewin’ over here so I’ma hafta call you back.”

“Oh ok baby, but before you go is ummm Sway with you?”

  “Naw…why?”

“Oh no reason, jus’ askin’ I’ll talk to you later.”

  “Ok, I’m gone.”

Pamela looked at me kinda strange, “Who was that?” “Oh that was Angelique, she was MIA last night, she was jus’ callin’ to let me know she was alright.”

“A beautiful woman missing in action all night and half the morning…hmmm.” Pamela raised her eyebrow.

“What’s the hmmm for?” I chuckled.

“I don’t put anything past these young women these days, you sure she’s not stepping out on you?”

I really laughed this time, “She’d be a fool to cheat on me, and Angelique is nobody’s fool. I trust her with my life and my heart.”

Pamela smiled, “That’s good son, I’m happy for you. But now, getting back to business, what the hell are we going to do about my friend Gloria and this bastard Diego?”r />
I winked at her, “I got this.”

As fast Tyce came he was gone and Pamela was left again in the empty room with her head full of thoughts.

Was her friend going to be ok?

Where in the hell was Armando?

And, most importantly, how would she tell her only son what he didn’t know?

  Good News

Dallas sat on her bed naked tweezing the stray hairs from her vaginal area one by one. It had been a little over a week since her last Brazilian wax appointment and the hairs were starting to peek through. A smooth hairless pussy was her preference; Dallas wanted nothing to come in between a warm tongue and her hot pussy. It boggled her mind as to why some women still had afros in their nether regions. The other night she watched a porno and the woman in the scene had a bunch of hairs poking out the side of her panties. That was just tacky she thought as she pulled the last hair from her silky soft coochie.

Walking to the huge closet to find something to wear, the sound of the phone ringing made her make a U-turn and answer it before it went to voice mail. She sat with her bare ass on the bed as she picked up the phone placing it to her ear.

  “Hey Khalil wasup?” Dallas answered.

  “Wasup lil’ cousin what’s good?”

“I’m jus’ doin’ a lil’ personal groomin’…I was jus’ about to call you.”

“I guess we on the same page today, I was callin’ to see wasup with ya man, did he make that move yet?”

Dallas got up to look out the window, “As a matter of fact he did and he got your money back, how’s that for keepin’ your word?”

“Damn, that nigga pulled it off, I gotta admit I had my doubts.”

“Tyce aint ya average nigga Khalil…or I wouldn’t be with him. I’ll have him call you so

  y’all can hook up.”

  “Thanks for lookin’ out Dallas.”

“No problem, tell auntie Joyce I said hi.”

“Alright I’ll do that.” Khalil hung up.

Dallas tossed the phone on the bed and resumed the half hour long ritual of sorting through her various outfits before deciding what to wear. She finally decided on a little sexy purple dress that stopped just below her round rump. She held the dress out in front of her as she walked from the closet to lay it on the bed. Stepping back from the foot of the bed to admire the beautiful color, she contemplated what shoes to rock with it. Suddenly she felt a wave of heat surge through her body. It felt like somebody had turned on an oven inside of her chest. The warm internal heat traveled north to her throat causing an over whelming feeling of nausea. A split second later her undigested breakfast came spewing out of her mouth landing all over her sexy outfit for the day. She doubled over clutching her stomach attempting to catch her breath.

The eight hundred dollar dress was covered in yellow and beige liquidity chunks of funky vomit. Dallas looked down at her aching stomach and shook her head slowly letting out a long shaky sigh.

  Solo

The element of surprise was my best advantage right now. Armando had no idea that while he was trying to find me, I was secretly tracking him. Thanks to my mom and the spyware I put on his phone, I knew exactly where Diego lived. It was all a part of the plan…what I didn’t plan on was Diego knowing Pamela’s number and the type of business she was in. I got lucky when Armando called her to set up a fake appointment. Pamela had the bright idea of setting up Armando on kidnapping charges to get him out the way for a while but it went wrong when her friend Gloria got cocky and thought she could handle him on her own. Now she was in trouble and I had no choice. Either let her die or go get her…and I wasn’t about to let her die because of me. I didn’t even know this woman, all I knew was she was my mother’s friend…and that was enough for me.

It was just before sunset as I parked my Jeep on a side street around the corner from Diego’s mansion. I already had my bulletproof vest on, three guns loaded, and a full bag of skittles. My Jeep had plenty of storage space so I always had a killing care package on board where ever I went. You never know when you might need it.

As I munched the tasty candy, different thoughts went through my mind. Sitting in the leather seat behind dark tinted windows, I imagined the best outcome. I envisioned myself and Gloria walking out of there unharmed. There was no sense in being negative about the situation; I always believed that thoughts are things, living things that can manifest in real life if you believe in them. So every time I was going into something that could possibly end my life I filled my head with positive thoughts and images, and tonight was no exception.

Some might say I was crazy for strolling into the lion’s den all alone like this but I didn’t give a fuck. I had beaten the odds all my life and I wasn’t about to run out of luck now…at least that’s what I told myself as I approached the tall steel gate surrounding Diego’s property.

My eyes surveyed the area taking in the lay out. Everything was wide open with very little places to hide. The bars of the gate were separated just enough to squeeze my frame through, I was estimating the measurement when a voice came from the small speaker box to my left.

  “Who are you?” It said.

“My name is me, who the fuck are you?” I responded angrily.

There was a short pause. I knew the voice belonged to a woman.

“Are you Tyce Adkins?” She asked hesitantly.

I looked around curiously, “Yeah I’m Tyce.”

Right in front of me the gate began making a creaking sound as it opened up slowly.

“Hurry up and come to the front door you don’t have much time!” The voice instructed.

What the hell was all this I thought to myself as I jogged the distance to the huge front landing. The sun had gone to sleep letting the moon take over and this whole scene had a dark feel to it. I stopped about 20 feet from the door and pulled out my gun. I looked left, right, and all around me seeing nothing. It was quiet. The sounds of locks clicking broke the silence and the door swiftly opened. I got down on one knee to make myself a smaller target just in case someone opened fire. My gun was aimed steady at the door and I was prepared to

shoot first and ask questions later. I short Mexican lady dressed like a maid stood before me looking like she was about to have a heart attack.

  “Don’t shoot senor!”

  “Where’s Diego, Where’s Armando?!” I shouted.

“They’re not here!” She raised her palms to me.

  “Who the hell are you?”

“My name is Carmela, I’m Diego’s cook.”

I looked into her frightened eyes, “So nobody’s in there?”

  “Yes yes nobody.”

“Is there a woman in there with you?”

Carmela looked down at the speckled brick porch, “Your mother was here, but but she’s at the hospital now, I I don’t know which one but she was taken there earlier this morning…she’d been shot in the leg.”

I stood up and lowered my weapon at my side. A confused look spread across my face as I registered what the cook just explained to me.

“Who took her to the hospital?”

Carmela paused her words and walked out onto the porch. She looked back over her shoulder like she forgot something.

“I took her to the hospital.”

I looked around Carmela’s small frame to see who the good Samaritan was and I was shocked at who I saw standing there.

“Sabrina, what the hell are you doin’ here?”

She stepped onto the porch, walked down the steps, and stood face to face with me. I looked into her kind eyes as they began to gloss over. She placed her moist lips against mine giving me a gentle peck.

“I don’t want anything to happen to you, and I’m sorry about your mother, I did what I could and got her to the hospital. I think she’s gonna make

it, she was in surgery when I left. I would have called you but you didn’t give me your number remember?”

I was stunned. I normally have a lot to say but as I stared at Sabr
ina, my tongue was pad locked.

“Ok, time out, what the hell is goin’ on? How did you…”

She cut me off, “Carmela called me this morning and told me your mother had been shot. She was all panicked so I came right over.”

I looked at her blankly, “Ok so what the fuck do you live here or what?”

Sabrina licked her full lips, “Tyce…Diego is my father.”

  Misunderstanding

The peroxide bubbled and sizzled as it cleaned the bite wound on Angelique’s thigh. She thought about going to get a shot of antibiotics but sitting in an emergency room for five hours just to get a little shot was not appealing to her at all. She would just keep it clean and cover it with a band-aid. This was the third time she’d cleaned it today and the task wasn’t getting any less painful. That bitch Ranae had the nerve to actually bite her. She examined her leg carefully and reasoned that Sway’s wife must be mixed with Vampire. Maybe she should have hit her in the face with a silver chain; that always seemed to work on the show True Blood .
