"Hey –" she grabbed him by the elbow, "I need you to get me another boat – for me."

She spoke in a hushed tone – hoping no one passing by would hear. He looked at her startled, "You're going to shore?"

This wasn't normal – they always had everything they needed on the boat – you only went to shore for emergencies.

And she shook her head, "I don't really have time explain right now – I just want to be out of here by noon."

  "But – why?"

She brought him and close, so that only he can hear her whisper, "I'm just – I'm just not really getting along with this whole bachelorette thing – it be better if I was in here."

She didn't want to hide anything from him – but she couldn't explain either that she had just given Prince Adrian a blow job.

His eyes look sad, "But the Prince – he was just talking about you –"

she gulped, she hoped he had blown her cover.

  "What was he saying?"

Dexter smiled, looking down with the blush, "He said he wanted to give you a gift in your room – so I gave him directions."

The blush hit her cheeks hard. She felt the heat rising within her in an instant.

He wants to know where my room is?

A thousand fantasies rush through her mind – all of them involving Adrian and her in her dark room. Fair to sees a flutter to her heart. She shook her head.

"Can you just do this for me?" She stared at him with an intensity – hoping that he would understand her plea.

Dexter looked at her with a suspicious glance, but he nodded slowly. She took a sigh of relief. She placed her hand on his shoulders, giving him a warm smile.

"You've really been a good friend to me all this time."

Dexter smiled – but, it looked like he wanted to cry.

She hurried into her room – sending Brian a quick text message that she was leaving. She had a feeling that he wasn't going to argue. In her message, she told him that she realized he was right. That Veronica needed to leave soon as possible to get things ready for their wedding.

He replied back, ":-) glad you're on board of me."

Her stomach turned – he really didn't get her. But with that, and packing her things. She was ready to go. She took a look around her room – she quickly taken down most of the thought of the pack them into a box – labeling them for Dexter so that he could ship them for her. Most everything else have impacted the boxes already – as she had gotten prepared for last week.

As she was about to leave her room – her phone chimed.

It was a message from Dexter. Her stomach dropped as she read it.

"So sorry – there is nothing else available right now, crew is cleaning – next stop is Montenegro."

She groaned in frustration – of all the places that she was going to land. It had to be Montenegro.

Her stomach felt like a dropped her feet.

She replied back to Dexter with a simple okay. But, she wasn't okay. She felt trapped now, stuck between a man who she wanted badly – and the man who wanted her badly for the wrong reasons.

She felt herself slump against the door – there was nothing else she could do. But, once they landed at the port – she can make a run for it. She could get out of there soon as she could – perhaps escaping both Adrian and the murderous Mario.

She didn't have a choice—but, she tried to calm herself down. It wasn't like Adrian was seriously into her—he just wanted her to be his plaything.

But, the way things were going—she was going to end up breaking her most precious vow.

And she didn't want that—although every time she was with Adrian, her body didn't listen to reason. She didn't know how much longer she could wait.

There was a knock on the door.

Her heart pounded, and she set down her case and opened it slowly, hoping that it wasn't Adrian—she could slam the door closed in an instant.

Brian looked down at her, "Hey you OK?"

His blue eyes shone with concern that she was not familiar with.

"Oh yeah—why?" She hadn't opened the door any further—she just wanted to escape.

"Cuz I just ran into Dex and he said you weren't going anymore," Brian looked puzzled. Did he want her off the ship that badly?

"Right—he couldn't find the boat for me," she wanted him to leave.

"Right—" he stared at her up and down, "Maybe the next one then—you should leave the islands soon anyways."

She stared at him confused, not understanding his comment, "Why is that?"

He looked to the side for a moment, "Because it looks like you're getting used to that island food."

Her jaw dropped— "Wow, OK good conversation—I need to get back to work."

He shrugged, as if his comment hadn't stung her.

She closed the door behind her, wanting to slam it in his face.

Part of her wanted to shove a cake into his stupid smirk, but the other part said that she needed to keep winning him over. She groaned in exasperation. This day was not getting better.

The chime on her phone rang. It was from Megan. Veronica had just finished putting some of her things back into place—but, she kept her case ready to go just in case.

She took a look at her phone, and her day just got worse.

Veronica—please bring condoms to the room.

Veronica's jaw dropped—the realization slapped her hard.

Of course he's still having sex—he's a fucking prince—he's here to have all the sex he wants.

The feeling burned within her, making her feel hollow and stupid.

Did she think that he was waiting for her—that he only wanted her sex?

She slammed down the phone, this time hearing a crack for sure.

She groaned and looked at her phone. A thin line split the message down the middle. Veronica wanted to give up on the day—she wanted to run away. She grabbed her phone and shoved it into her jacket pocket.

She marched to their storage room where they held lube and condoms and more. Usually, she would make a nice basket for her guests—but, she didn't want to liven up Adrien's mood anymore.

The idea burned in her—her stomach was twisting in knots, threatening to pull out her rib cage and toss it to the floor. She walked towards the suite. As she got closer, she saw the hulking figure standing at the door.

She walked up, holding the items in her hands.

The guard looked down at her. Veronica heard grunts coming from inside—it sounded like Adrian was having a good time.

Such an idiot, she thought bitterly.

She handed the items to the guard. He shook his head, "Megan said to leave them on the table."

Her heart lurched—she had to go inside and witness that?

She groaned under her breath, and she tried to pick herself up as well as she could. She placed her hand on the handle and took a deep breath. She opened the door and walked in.

Someone must have punched her in the gut. Because, she felt the air leave her. She entered the room, to find Adrian sitting in a large chair that faced the window—his back to the door. There was a woman there on her knees, her head bobbing up and down in front of him. The couch covered her face. He leaned his head back, staring at the ceiling, moaning.

It took every ounce of her to step towards the table, her eyes not leaving them. They didn't notice she was there. She could slip out of this room and run.

She took in the scene though, her eyes gazing at Adrien's face. It looked different—scrunched up in concentration. His grunts sounded hard, not like when Veronica was giving him the blow job. He had sounded lost and out of control then.

She took a step back and hit something behind her.

  Something clattered to the floor.

Adrien's head snapped to her. His eyes widened as he looked at her, and the group of items on the table.

He sprang up, knocking the woman back and she fell onto the floor with a thump. Adrian tucked himself into his boxers, his eyes
looking to her and then to the table.

"What are you doing here—I didn't call for you."

She blushed—he was walking towards her as if angry, confusion on his face.

She took a step towards the door—she felt like a caged animal, "Umm I got the message—Megan said..."

His face fell instantly, his eyebrows narrowed.

He turned to the redhead on the floor.

  "Get out," he snapped.

The woman picked herself off the floor, trying to adjust the straps on her dress—her face showed her emotions clearly—she had missed her opportunity to seduce Adrian.

Veronica turned to follow quickly behind her.

  "Wait—not you Veronica."

Veronica froze and turned slowly to face him. His face was a mix of emotions—all of them confusing to her.

She heard the door close behind her.

  Chapter 17

  Well played Meg.

Adrian thought bitterly. He hadn't told her of his small sexual escapades with Veronica. Adrian had promised that he wouldn't get distracted and Megan wanted to prove a point. Megan had persisted—she practically pushed the red head into his room. Adrian could only guess that Meg planned this little sabotage.

Why does this even matter to me that much?

He told himself that he only dismissed the red head because she wasn't good enough.

Besides, the woman had spent nearly ten minutes trying to suck him off but he wasn't close. He enjoyed it sure, but the whole time he was holding back. He wanted to see Veronica's lips sucking him—but these didn't feel the same.

Veronica stood silent near the door—looking desperate to escape.

He didn't know what to say—he felt the need to apologize.

But for what? I'm the crown prince—I didn't do anything wrong.

Her looked at Veronica, she had averted her eyes—her cheeks flushed.

He stared at her for a moment, his eyes lingering on her body as she looked away. He bit his lip. She was on his mind—but, she shouldn't be.

He coughed—and she looked to him.

"I think—I think we can send that one home, too." He shrugged like it was no big deal, but he was feeling speechless.

She looked back towards the door where the red head had left, "Are you sure—you probably didn't have enough time with her..." her voice trailed off as if she was just recalling what she had seen.

"Positive—I was just trying her out, but she's no good."

He froze. I sound like an asshole.

Her eyes widened at his callous words.

Adrian had meant it as a compliment—to tell Veronica, that she was the best so far. But, it definitely didn't come out that way. He sounded like a misogynistic jerk.

A cloud covered her eyes, she looked down, holding her hands together, "Of course, sir."

A pang of guilt hit him—if Megan hadn't interfered he wouldn't be in this predicament.

He tried to back track, "What I meant was that I knew she wasn't going to be a good fit—but, I just thought I could try—" he snapped his mouth shut again.

  That sounded worse, idiot.

  He gritted his teeth.

  She turned to go.

He reached out for her, "Wait—I didn't say you could go."

She didn't turn back to face him, "Don't worry sir—I understand that you have a goal here—you're just trying to reach it efficiently—you don't need me right now, let me know if you do."

Her voice was cold. She didn't take a look at him as she walked out the door. The door closed shut with an echo.

He had never felt so deflated in his life—he had never really felt so embarrassed. This was new for him.

He sat down on the couch where moments ago he was getting a blow—now, all he wanted was to stare out into the ocean.

Hours had passed, and it was getting near his next date. The numbers had dwindled quickly. He had been paying so much attention to Veronica that he didn't realize that he had only a few options left. Adrian rolled around in his bed, trying to nap.

The heat of embarrassment still lingered on him.

He told himself that he was doing what was necessary.

Adrian had told himself that he needed to forget Veronica's virgin and hot body—he needed to push her out of his mind. So naturally, when the red head got onto her knees, he accepted.

He groaned, stuffing his face into a pillow. He wanted to hide.

He couldn't take it anymore—he threw himself off the bed. He grabbed a shirt and then found his way to the bar.

The bar was quiet—Adrian sighed with relief. It was a small place—around the corner was the quiet dining room. The windows were wide and open here, bringing in lots of light onto the small cocktail tables and the full bar glittering with tons of imported bottles.

The ladies had no interest here yet—and, he hoped they wouldn't follow him. He needed some chill time.

He spotted Dexter talking to the captain of the ship, Brian.

Adrian's face scrunched up—he didn't like the guy.

Brian sat at the bar, hunching over his phone with a drink in his hand.

Adrian took a seat—the bar was pretty small, so he was within arm's distance of Brian. The captain didn't look up—Adrian could see that he was playing some sort of poker, completely lost in his thought.

Dexter was wiping off glasses and he gave Adrian a wink, "What can I get for you?"

"Something hard," he gave Dexter a wink back. Dexter blushed on queue.

Adrian could tell Dexter was a nice guy.

Brian looked up, recognizing Adrian's voice. He shoved the phone into his pocket, stammering, "Your Majesty— I didn't see you there."

He smiled broadly—Adrian could tell that Brian was not always this friendly.

Adrian flashed him a tight grin.

Dexter placed an amber colored shot in front of him. Adrian downed it—the warmth radiating through him instantly.

Brian took the seat next to him.

Oh god—can't I just be left alone?

Brian beamed at him, giving him an elbow, "I hear you're quite the ladies man, sir." Brian raised his eyebrows suggestively. Adrian cocked an eyebrow with sarcasm, "It's great to be me."

But, it doesn't feel like it.

Brian nodded as if knew everything about that subject. His expression turned solemn for a moment as he twirled the glass in his hands, "Say, maybe you could give me some pointers, eh?"

Adrian felt annoyed—people like Brian also asked for things, like attention or information—they relied on people like Adrian to share their magical secrets. It was annoying and unrealistic.

Adrian raised his glass to his lips, but Brian continued.

"Say you have a woman—a pretty nice woman, but eh, say she doesn't want to go the extra mile."

  Adrian perked up at that.

  Is he talking about Veronica?

Brain went on, "How would you say, convince this woman to satisfy you, you know—go all the way?"

Bingo—Adrian felt both ticked off and smug—had Veronica done nothing for this poor bastard?

  Adrian smiled— Good.

Adrian shrugged, basking in his silent glory— "I'd say let the woman be who she is—if she's attracted to you, she'll come."

  His words played on suggestion.

Brian nodded, clearly not soaking it in, "Damn, wish I could—I wanna before the wedding—but, she's in a hurry to leave, I'm glad though, cuz she belongs—"

Adrian cut him off, "She's going home?"

Brian took a swig of his drink, "Yeah, she tried to leave this morning—but, couldn't find a boat."

Adrian felt a punch to his gut.

"Did she say why she was leaving?"

Brian was as clueless as they came. He shrugged, "Nah—she looked all upset though—I think it's for the wedding—she's got lots of shit to do."

Adrian stared at Brian—hoping he would give more information than that—anything to suggest that Adrian was the reason th
at Veronica wanted to leave so badly. Veronica had seemed the opposite, it didn't seem like she ever wanted to leave here—she looked happy here.

Brian's answer wasn't enough—she wasn't in a hurry to get off this boat earlier—not before their rendezvous, before she had caught him with the red head.

Was she really trying to leave me?

Had he offended her that much?

His chest felt heavy—he felt bad. He felt like he might have driven her to the edge—but, she didn't look like it. Her eyes had told her everything—that she wanted him.

Maybe he'd been so blinded by the hundreds of women who slobbered over him, that he couldn't tell when a woman didn't want him.

Fuck—he cursed himself. What if this was all in his imagination—the idea struck him with guilt and embarrassment.

Suddenly, the PA system chimed on, a voice echoed through the ship.

"Please prepare for the Montenegro harbor—we will be arriving soon."

A new thought popped into his mind.

Montenegro—didn't Veronica's file say something about the crime boss there—Mario, the one who held her debt?

He grabbed his drink and walked out of the bar room—Brian was still trying to talk to him, but Adrian didn't care.

He didn't know what to say to Veronica—he wanted to apologize. But, if she truly didn't want him like he wanted her, then it would be best to keep his distance.

However, Veronica was about to walk into shark territory—and he felt compelled, no obligated—to escort her. Even if she didn't want his company, he would find a way to make it up to her. He could that at least.

  Chapter 18

Veronica felt like a nervous wreck. Her hands were shaking now – as the ship pulled into the harbor of Montenegro. She told herself that she was shaking because of Mario.

But, within her she knew the truth – she was shaking from watching someone else please the Prince.

She felt the familiar pain of jealousy – but it was out of line. He was a Prince after all – he was entitled to any woman in the world, practically. Why should she get offended?
