Chasing Desire

by Jennifer Domenico

I sigh. The airport during rush hour is no fun, but this is my baby sister. Of course I’m gonna do it. “Sure. What time?”

“Oh, thank you! Her plane lands at 5:50. She only has carry on so it shouldn’t take her long to get out to the curb. I told her you could meet her outside baggage claim.”

“So you already said I would get her?” I ask, chuckling.

“I was hoping. Anyway, her name is Stacey. She has blond hair, she’s about my build, but a little shorter. She knows what you look like so she’ll be on the lookout.”

  “Where I am bringing her?”

“My place. I should be able to get off in time to meet you there. If not, you can let her in. You still have my key, right?”

  “I do.”

“One more thing. Do not, I repeat, do not attempt to seduce her. She is really sweet and not your kind of girl at all.”

“Why do you assume I’ll try?” I ask. “Oh, and because she’s sweet she’s not my type of girl?”

“You know what I mean, Brayden. You will try when you see her. But again, no. I’ll kill you.”

I laugh. “Okay, okay. Hands off. I get it. For the record, I don’t sleep with every pretty girl I see.”

“Only the ones that aren’t married or otherwise occupied.”

“You got me there. I’m gonna clean up my act, though. I swear.”

“I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m sure you will someday. I’d love to see you fall in love and get married and all that stuff.”

  “I wouldn’t hold your breath.”

“I won’t. Thanks for doing this. It helps a lot.”

“You got it, sis. See you later.”

  “Bye.”

I set myself a reminder to leave work so I can get to the airport on time. My sister is right- sweet isn’t my thing. I’m sure I won’t have any trouble keeping my hands to myself.

When the time comes, I close down for the day and head out. I walk to the elevator and see Meredith talking with someone. She looks over at me and smiles. I wave back at her and feel that twinge of desire in my pants. She motions to the person she is talking to and walks over to me.

  “Hey,” she says.

  “Hey, yourself.”

  “How are you?”

  “Good. You?”

“Good. What are you doing tonight?” she asks.

“I have to go pick someone up from the airport.”

  “Oh, too bad,” she pouts.

“What did you have in mind?”

  “Anything you want.”

I wouldn’t mind getting back between this girl’s thighs. “Tell you what. I’m only dropping her off then I’ll be home if you want to drop by.”

  “Her?”

“Yeah,” I reply, grinning. “My sister’s friend.” These chicks always have the nerve to act possessive.

“Oh.” She smiles. “Sure. What time?”

“Let’s say 7:30. Is that too late?”

  “No, not at all.”

“Okay, I’ll text my address to you.”

  “Great.”

  “See ya soon, Meredith.”

  “Yep.”

I walk away, grinning. When I look back, Meredith is whispering with the friend she was talking to and I can only assume I am the topic. Downstairs, I get in my car, shoot the text to Meredith, and race off to the airport. I hope Stacey is easy to find.

Once I arrive at Lindbergh Field, I pull up to baggage claim and look for the airline sign I need. I see a petite, blond woman standing on the edge of the sidewalk looking around. Maybe that’s her. I pull up next to her and roll down the window on the passenger side.

  “Are you Stacey?” I ask.

A smile lights up the girl’s very pretty features. “I am. You must be Brayden.”

“The one and only. Here, let me help you.” I get out of the car and take her bag, tossing it in the back seat. Stacey wears a form fitting blue dress and has her long blond hair pulled off her face. Her eyes are big and as blue as her dress. Her skin looks soft and I really want to touch it all of a sudden. I want to touch all of her. Stacey is beautiful. Now I know why Ariel warned me off of her. I open the car door and watch her get in.

  “Thank you,” she says.

“You’re welcome.” I walk over to my side of the car and remind myself I cannot fuck this girl. In my car. Too bad. That would be really hot.

“So, Stacey. Ariel says you went to college with her?”

“I did. We were in the same sorority.”

“What took you out of state?”

“I’m from Nebraska, so after college I went back home for a while, but I’m interviewing for some jobs here so I can try to move back. I’ve outgrown Nebraska.”

“Ariel is very excited you’re coming out.”

“Yeah, it’s really nice of her to let me stay with her for a few days. Hotels can be expensive.”

  “Especially here.”

  “What do you do?”

  “I’m an advertising executive.”

  “That sounds exciting.”

  “It’s fun and challenging.”

  “Challenge is good.”

“That it is.” I lick my lips and then realize I’m acting like a sleaze ball. “How long are you here?”

“Just until Thursday. I fly back Friday morning. Hopefully I get a job offer. I’d like to be back permanently in the next couple of months.”

“Well, if there is anything I can do, let me know. I have a lot of business contacts around San Diego.”

“Thank you.” She pulls her hair off her neck and swoops it around so that it’s lying on one shoulder. “Thanks for picking me up, too. Really nice of you.”

“Oh, not a problem. I would do anything for my little sis.”

“That’s sweet. She talks about you a lot, but you aren’t what I imagined at all from her description.”

“How did she describe me?” I ask, chuckling.

“She said you look like her, which is true, and that you are very outgoing and charming.”

“I don’t match that description to you?”

“Oh, definitely, but she didn’t mention that you were so handsome. Maybe it’s hard for a sister to see that in her own brother.”

I glance over at Stacey and she smiles. It’s a genuine compliment with no hint of ulterior motive.

“Well, thank you. Ariel forgot to mention you were a total knockout, but I think she did that intentionally. I don’t exactly have the best intentions when it comes to women sometimes.”

  “She told me that, too.”

“How does that make you feel about me?”

  “I’m not afraid of you.”

  “Perhaps you should be.”

“You’ll have to do and say a lot more to get me to be afraid.”

“I detect a sense of adventure in you.”

“I like to try new things.”

I grin. Stacey seems fun. I take the next exit to get to my sister’s house. If I’ve learned one thing about Ariel, when she says something she means it and she wants me to stay away from her friend. I can’t really blame her. I wouldn’t even be able to count how many of her friends I dated and dumped. I pull up in front of my sister’s place, but don’t see her car.

“I’ll go inside with you until Ariel gets here.”

  “Thanks.”

I grab Stacey’s luggage from the back seat and we walk up to my sister’s door. Pulling out the key, I open the door and move to the side to let Stacey enter and then I carry her bag into the guest bedroom. When I turn around, she is standing in the doorway.

  “Is this my room?”

  “I assume so.”

  “It’s nice.”

  “Yeah. Ariel has good taste.”

“Yes.” She shifts her eyes to the floor and suddenly seems very shy.

“Do you want me to wait with you or do you want to be alone?” I ask.

“I think it would be nice if you waited. If you can.”

  “Yeah, of course
. Let me see where Ariel is.” I pull my phone out of my pocket to text her. She calls back right away.

“I’m running late. Are you guys at my place?” she asks.

  “Yeah, we just got here.”

“I should be there in like five minutes. Can you wait?”

“Yes. I’m not in a hurry.”

  “Thanks, bro.”

“No problem.” I hang up and look at Stacey. “She said she’ll be here in about five minutes.”

  “Okay.”

We stand awkwardly in the bedroom for a moment before I break the silence. “Why don’t we go in the living room?”

  “Good idea.”

I glance over at her. While she is pretty, there is something about her that doesn’t do it for me. It could be a lack of attraction or excitement, but whatever it is, it’s boring me and I’m ready to leave.

“Ariel should be here any minute,” I say, again.

  “Okay.”

“Would you like a drink or something?”

  “I’m okay right now.”

We sit quietly until I finally hear the key in the door and my sister walks in.

“Hey, Stacey!” Ariel grabs her friend and they hug.

“Ariel! So good to see you again. Thanks for letting me stay here.”

“Of course. Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Now is my cue to leave. “Okay, well, I’m out of here.”

Ariel hugs me and kisses my cheek. “Thanks for picking her up. It was a huge help.”

“No need to thank me.” I glance at Stacey, who smiles and shifts her eyes to the floor again.

Walking me to the door, Ariel narrows her eyes at me and whispers, “You didn’t do anything to her, did you?”

“No. Of course not. We’ve only been here for fifteen minutes.”

“I think that’s enough time for you.”

I laugh. “It is, but I was warned.”

Ariel laughs. “See you soon, Brayden.”

“Yep. Talk to you later.” I wave and walk out.

Driving back to my place, I enjoy the night air and mentally plan my work day tomorrow. I pull up to my building and roll into the parking garage. Once inside, I press the elevator button for my floor. When I step off, I’m surprised to see Gretchen talking to Meredith. Fuck! I forgot I told her to come over.

“Hey, there! Sorry I’m late. It took longer than I thought.”

Meredith looks up at me and sort of smiles, but I can tell she’s not happy. “No problem. I was just talking to your neighbor here.”

That’s probably not a good thing. God only knows what Gretchen told her. “Why don’t we go inside?” I suggest.

  “Okay.”

Gretchen grins and winks at me as I unlock my door and show Meredith in. “You want a drink?” I ask.

  “No.”

  “Okay. Have a seat.”

Meredith sits on my couch and watches me as I pour myself a glass of scotch. She seems a bit off tonight. Not the bubbly girl she was at the office.

  “Everything okay?” I ask.

  “Yes, fine. Why?”

“You don’t seem happy to be here.”

  “I am. It’s just that…”

  “What?”

“Your neighbor said you have different women here all the time. I’m just another conquest to you, aren’t I?”

“Aw, Meredith,” I say, sitting next to her. “Don’t listen to Gretchen. That cougar has been trying to get me over to her place for years. She’s just jealous that I picked you and she could never compete with your beauty.”

Meredith looks up and allows a slight smile to cross her lips. “Yeah?”

“Yeah.” I kiss her neck and then move up to her lips, sucking them into my mouth. She moans softly in encouragement. My hands slide down her body to her luscious tits and I knead them between my fingers. “I’m glad you’re here. I’ve been thinking about you since we met.” Not even kind of true, but women need to hear this stuff. I just need to do and say the right thing so I can get her clothes off of her.

  “You didn’t call,” she murmurs.

“Sorry,” I say, and nuzzle her neck. “Work is so busy lately.”

  “I’ve thought about you, too.”

“That makes me happy.” I move my hand up her leg as she presses against me. Soon, I’ve managed to get her dress off of her and her legs open. I press my hard dick against her lacy panties and bite at her nipples, pulling and tugging at her bra.

She pulls away from me and unbuttons my slacks. Pulling my cock out of my boxers, she sucks it enthusiastically. I throw my head back and bury my fingers in her hair, pumping in and out of her mouth. The next thing I know, Meredith has removed her bra and has my dick sliding in between her tits. Fuck. This is good. Very good.

She stands and hovers above me for a moment before turning the opposite direction.

“I want you in my ass.”

Fucking shit! Really?! She bends over and grabs her ankles, spreading her legs wide for me. I rub my finger against her opening and push in just a little. Meredith groans and I push a little more. She’s tight and I need a little help to get in there.

“Stay like that,” I say and rush to my bedroom to get my favorite lube and a condom. When I return, she is in the same position frantically rubbing her own clit. This chick is fucking hot.

“You like getting fucked in the ass, Meredith?”

“Mmm, yeah, I do. Especially with a big cock like yours.”

I pour lube down her backside, working it in with my thumb and index finger. Meredith moans louder as I press the tip of my cock against her opening. Finally, I press forward and push deep inside her. I grab her hips to balance the both of us and pound into her tight little ass. I reach down with one hand and hold her amazing red hair, pulling her head back just slightly. Fuck, this feels amazing.

Meredith spreads her cheeks for me, squealing and writhing all over me. I reach forward and do my best to rub her clit and she screams out. Yeah, that’s right. Fucking scream.

She cries out, bucking her hips madly against me. I hold her tight, pumping through my own release with my head thrown back in pleasure. I slow down and when I pull out, I gasp in horror. No fucking way.

  “Uh, Meredith?”

She stands and turns around with a smile on her face that quickly disappears when she sees what I see. “Oh my god!”

“Yeah.” I don’t even know what to say. This has never happened to me before.

  “I’m so sorry!”

“I’ll get a towel.” I walk carefully into the hallway guest closet and grab two towels. In the bathroom, I wet them, and then delicately take off the condom. After cleaning myself up, I go back into the living room, but Meredith is nowhere to be found. I guess I don’t blame her. I would be mortified, too, if I shit all over the person I was fucking.

I lock the door behind her and go into my bathroom to shower. During my last two dates I’ve been thrown up on and now shit on. Fucking epic.

Things are not going well for me these days. I’m the guy who has flawless sex with beautiful women and suddenly I can’t get it right. Is it the women or is it me? Has my luck finally run out?

I run my hands through my hair as I replay tonight’s events. Meredith was such a hot piece until that happened. I guess she got a little excited. Either that or I really hit the magic spot. I shake my head and chuckle. This should make for some interesting work interactions.

Stepping out of the shower, I grab a towel and wrap it around my waist. It’s time to take a few nights off from women. Besides, my dick deserves a break after what he’s been through recently.

Driving to work, I’m curious about how Meredith will act around me. Maybe she’ll just avoid me and it won’t be an issue. I hope that’s the case, but I’m sure I’ll have to deal with this one way or another. I pull into the parking garage and into my space before heading upstairs.

I’m barely getting started on my day when Macy’s voice comes over the intercom.
Head’s up. Sam from the fourth floor is heading your way and he’s pissed.”

  “About what?”

“No clue. His admin called me to let me know. He’s coming off the elevator now.”

  “Okay.”

I don’t do business with Sam so I have no idea what he could be mad at me about. I hear Macy’s voice trying to stop him as he bursts into my office.

“You son of bitch,” he seethes. “You can’t keep it in your fucking pants, can you?”

  “What are you talking about?”

  “I should fucking punch you.”

I cross my arms over my chest. “I’d like to see you try that.”

Sam is a middle-aged guy who hasn’t seen the inside of the gym for quite some time. I really don’t think he should be threatening to take me on.

“Meredith resigned today. Ring a bell or is she just one of many girls you screw on a regular basis?”

“What does that have to do with me?”

“Oh, you’re gonna play stupid. Okay. Well, just so you know, the whole office knows you two were fucking. Whatever happened recently between you made her decide she doesn’t want to work in the same place.”

  “She said that?”

“She told her friend that and then she quit. She was good, Brayden. Really good.”

“Yeah, I know.” I grin, which only pisses Sam off even more.

“You’re a bastard, you know that?”

I really want to cuss this prick out, but knowing I have a pending promotion, I decide to keep my cool.

  “Get out of my office.”

“Someday all this shit is gonna come back on you.”

“Why don’t you let me worry about that?”

  “Fucker.”

  “I said get out, Sam.”

Sam stomps off and Macy appears in my doorway.

  “What was that about?”

“He’s mad some girl quit and he thinks it’s about me.”

“Oh, Meredith? Yeah, I was going to tell you about that this morning. Everyone is talking about it.”

  “Why?”

“She’s like the tenth girl this year who has quit that was associated with you. Her friend Jamie is telling everyone you screwed her over.”

“That is NOT what happened!” I pace in front of my desk. “She chose to leave. I didn’t do anything to her.”
