Felix slowly opened his eyes to see that he was in a wooden cabin. Slowly he looked across the room to see Tom in a sheepskin bed, he looked badly hurt. The two were both covered in cuts from head to toe. Felix was in some dirty rags that covered his waste and chest. Felix started to climb out of bed to see where he was, he was pretty sure that he had time travelled. He left the small bedroom only to find a giant room that had a small table in the centre. The table had two bowls of porridge on it. Brayden

Helping each other up, Felix and Tom stand up and observe the area. In the distance, they see muddy gross huts and field of crops and farms. Tom starts to sprint like a cheetah and Felix casually walks down a huge hill. “WAIT UP!” screeched Felix at the top of his lungs. “Mm no one is here” Tom wonders as they walk into the clothes shop. “Put on these” whispers Felix. “Ok” Tom said in a sheepish manner.   “Just ask the book,” Tom told Felix with a grin.

“I’m not sure that I can do it because it might take us back in time,” replied Felix anxiously.

“Oh don’t be such a wimp. What’s the good of being the keeper if you can’t ask any questions?”

Felix took the Book of Words out of his back pack. Tegan

They landed in the middle of a village and saw a Long-ship on the sea and a house made out of thatch and straw. Felix said, “I think we are in Viking times, we need a disguise.” They ran round the village looking for clothes to wear. They found cloths hanging on a line so they ran at them and grabbed them and ran off. Corey

Felix and Tom were stomping down the hallways aimlessly in Warwick castle. After ambling out of the dungeon attraction, nothing could scare them anymore.

“Tom where are we going now?” Felix questioned.

“Don’t know, but somewhere COOOOOOL!” replied Tom eagerly.

They had spotted a room which had a dark oak door and a sign firmly strapped on it which was a sign:

KEEP OUT! OUT OF BOUNDS! WARNING! Olivia

There were many more good examples for me to read. Well done to all the children and teachers at Greenfield Primary School, Walsall for producing such imaginative pieces of creative writing.
