Anything For Love Page 4

by Corke, Ashley

“Jett should be here any moment now,” Brady whispered in my ear again. He was rubbing against me like he was making love to me and was real gentle about it. Not rough like the twins had been.

“Maybe you should be more convincing,” I whispered back to Brady. He looked at me confused and I raised my hips up to his. “I know you want to.”

I kissed Brady then, nibbling on his bottom lip, tugging on his lip ring. Brady moaned. He sat up, and positioned himself carefully, before gently sliding inside me. I cried out in pleasure, bucking against him.

“But, Jett,” Brady whispered in my ear as he nibbled on it. I shivered again.

“Don't worry about it. Jett's not exactly my boyfriend. He can't say anything. Except get jealous because we haven't had sex yet,” I whispered back. Brady froze, his hips pressing hard into my own. His eyes met mine.

“You mean, you were true to Korbyn this whole time?” Brady continued to whisper. I nodded.

“I don't cheat.” I bucked up against Brady and he closed his eyes as he bit his lip. He started thrusting again. “You and Keegan are the only other guys I’ve been with.” Again, Brady stopped.

“If you don't want to, I'll stop,” he whispered against my neck as he nuzzled it. “I never wanted to rape you.”

“You're not, Brady,” I whispered back, smiling. “I've wanted you for so long.” Brady seemed to be in shock, his eyes gazing deeply into mine. I nodded. He thrust into me even harder, as his hands worked at my wrist restraints. Keegan and Korbyn didn't seem to notice.

“I knew you liked this, baby,” Korbyn said to me. I shivered, but Brady's lips against my neck settled me. “C'mon, Brady. Really give it to her.”

“Let me do this my way,” Brady replied through gritted teeth. “I've got her wrapped right around my little finger.”

For a moment, something strange flashed in Brady's eyes and it kind of scared me. I tensed beneath him, glaring at him. He shook his head, thrusting harder and faster. I felt my wrists go free. Brady had managed to untie my restraints.

“Brady,” I moaned, wrapping my arms around his neck. Keegan and Korbyn hadn't seemed to notice.

“I'm getting close, Myka. What do you want?” Brady whispered. I moved beneath him faster. “Myka!”

“Do it, Brady. Just go,” I moaned softly. He stiffened and as he went, we heard the front door crash open. I kept bucking against Brady, but the other guys ran out of the room to see what was happening. Brady's eyes met mine before he kissed me. Of course, I kissed him back. That night, he was my knight. He saved me. If Korbyn hadn't made Brady get on top of me, the twins would have done worse. Hell, they just might have killed me.

After a moment, I went as well, screaming Brady's name. My whole body shook as Brady gently kissed my neck. I could hear Korbyn and Keegan screaming and swearing, as Kye told them to just shut up. Brady gently pulled out and climbed off of me. He untied my feet and helped me off of Korbyn's bed. Just then, Jett came charging into the bedroom.

“Myka!” Jett cried in relief. He waved a gun at Brady. Brady put his hands up. I went over to Jett.

“Jett. Baby. Brady saved me,” I told Jett, hugging him. Jett slowly lowered his gun. “You didn't hurt, Kye, did you? He didn't do anything wrong, either.” Jett shook his head.

“I came for Korbyn and Keegan, just as Brady said,” Jett explained. “Thank you, Brady. Thank you.” Brady nodded. I went over and hugged Brady.

“Yes. Thank you, Brady,” I thanked him, smiling slyly. He smiled at me.

“You guys are welcome. And, Myka?” I looked up at Brady. “I will do anything to help you. Even testify against Keegan and Korbyn.”

  “Lie?” Jett asked.

“What?” Brady replied with a question.

“Nothing,” Jett said quickly. He grabbed my hand and led me out of the house.

  Chapter Fourteen

I awoke the next morning, back on Jett's couch, but this time, Jett was sleeping on the floor next to me. I studied him as he slept. His chin-length black hair covered his face as he slept on his left side, facing me. I carefully tucked his hair behind his ear. Jett's beautiful, long lashes looked like tiny black halos framing his eyes. His skin was extremely pale, and he often got questioned about being a vampire. Yet that never crossed my mind. Jett was my angel. He had protected me for so long.

I quietly stepped over him and went over to where my black denim jacket sat on the back of a chair near the door. Pulling out my cell phone and Detective Royce s card, I quickly dialed his number. I tiptoed into the bathroom and shut the door, so I could talk to him privately.

  “Royce,” he answered almost immediately.

“Hi, Detective Royce. It's Myka. Myka Marsters,” I spoke softly.

  “Hey, Myka. Is everything okay?”

“No. I was abducted again last night. Abducted by Korbyn. He took me back to the place we shared,” I started.

“Did he hurt you?” the detective seemed genuinely concerned.

  “Yes.”

“Do you want to come down to the precinct and tell me about it?”

“I'd rather just say it over the phone. I'm at Jett's. He saved me again last night, but he doesn't know what exactly happened,” I told Detective Royce honestly.

“I would like it if you came down to the precinct,” he told me. I nodded to myself.

“Okay. I just have to wake Jett up,” I told him.

“Do you need another rape kit done? I could just meet you at the hospital,” Royce offered.

  “I probably could,” I started.

“Myka? Where the hell are you?” I heard Jett cry from the living room, sounding scared.

“I have to go, Detective Royce,” I said into the phone.

“Please. Call me Oliver.” I smiled.

  “Oliver. I like that.”

“Please talk Jett into bringing you down here for me,” he said.

“Myka!” Jett cried again, seeming to grow frantic.

“At least call me back and tell me what happened,” Oliver begged.

“I will. Thanks.” I hung up.

  “Myka!”

“I'm in here, darling. I was on the phone. I didn't want to wake you,” I explained, coming out of the bathroom. Jett ran over to me and wrapped his arms around me.

“I thought I lost you again. I would kick myself if I ever let that happen again,” Jett whispered. When I pulled away, I saw that he was crying. I was kind of shocked. I changed the subject, feeling guilty for what had happened to me.

“I called Oliver. Err, Detective Royce.” Jett looked at me wide-eyed.

“What? Why?” he seemed a little upset. I scowled.

“Because he told me to call if they came near me again,” I snapped. Jett grabbed his hair in fists. “What did you do, Jett?”

“I saved you! That's what I did!” he yelled at me. I stepped back. Jett had never yelled at me before. Then something hit me.

“You had a gun last night, Jett. Where the hell did you get a fucking gun? Why did you have a gun? What did you do?” I screamed back at him.

“I didn't do anything! I beat them up! That's all!” At that moment, my phone rang.

“Hello?” I answered it. Jett went into the bathroom, slamming the door. I sighed heavily.

“Myka? Is that you?” It was Detective Bensley.

  “Yes, Detective. It's me.”

“Detective Royce said you called him. Is everything alright?” She asked me.

“No. I’m trying to get Jett to bring me in so I can talk to you guys,” I told her.

“Okay, Myka. We’ll see you soon, then.”

  “Of course, Detective.”

“Ellie. Please call me Ellie.” I smiled. I was on a first name basis with two detectives? I must have been good.

“Thanks. Ellie. Bye.” I hung up. Jett came out then.

  “Who's Ellie?” He questioned.

“Detective Bensley,” I answered. Jett headed to the stairs to go to his room. “Will you take me d
own to see them?”

“If I have no other choice.”

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” I asked him.

“Nothing.” He went on up the stairs and I went into the shower.

  Chapter Fifteen

When I came back out, I sighed and grabbed my bag from next to the door. All I had in my bag was my outfit from the night at the club. Again, I sighed, pulling out my skirt. I didn't have my fishnets, considering Keegan took those off of me. I pulled on my skirt and looked down at my legs.

“I guess I could go without them,” I said to myself, shrugging. I heard Jett coming back down the stairs and I looked up at him. He smiled his crooked smile and handed me a bag from an alternative store that we shopped at frequently.

“I went shopping while you were away,” Jett told me. I couldn’t help but smile. I took the bag and opened it. Inside the bag were three different pairs of fishnets: a neon pink pair, a black pair and a neon blue pair; a beater with penguins on it; a beater with Tinker Bell on it; a black push-up bra with cherries on it and a pair of black pants with red stitching, chains and silver studs. My smile broadened and I kissed him.

“Thanks, Jett.” He blushed. I took my skirt back off as he watched me, his eyebrow cocked.

  “No panties?” I smirked.

“Don't you love it?” He laughed.

“Maybe, but you don't have any others, do you?” Jett asked. I shook my head. He shook his in return. “Hold on.” I stood in the living room in just one of Jett's tee shirts. I looked around, pursing my lips.

“This is interesting,” I mumbled. Jett came back down and handed me another bag. I looked at him, cocking an eyebrow.

“These were supposed to be a gift for a special occasion,” Jett said shrugging. Again, the bag was from the alternative shop. I cautiously peeked inside the bag, before laughing. “What?” I pulled out several pairs of boycut panties and one thong: one pair was black with pink skulls; the thong was black with some penguins; another was purple with white skulls and yet another was green with nautical stars. I grabbed the pair with the penguins and threw the rest back in the bag.

“Gotta match the panties with the shirt,” I joked. Jett laughed. I pulled the panties on, then the pants he bought me. Taking off his shirt, I threw it at him and quickly slipped on my new bra. The beater with penguins followed. Jett whistled.

“You matching the shirt and panties for Oliver?” Jett asked, sounding flirty and batting his gorgeous eyes. I laughed hard.

  “Nope. Just for me.”

“Let's go,” Jett said, taking my hand. I laced my fingers with his. I knew it would soon be over.

  Chapter Sixteen

“I'm here for Detectives Royce and Bensley,” I told a gentleman at the entrance of the precinct. He looked at me cautiously, before picking up the phone and calling back. A moment later, another man I hadn't seen before, came out and approached me.

“Myka Marsters?” He asked me. This man was as tall and skinny as Jett, if not slightly taller. He wore glasses and had salt-and-pepper hair. Again, he was an attractive older man. I looked at him cautiously.

“Maybe,” I replied. He cocked his eyebrow at me.

“I'm Detective Bronson. Detective Royce sent me out to get you,” the detective explained, rolling his eyes. I smirked. “He has to wait out here.” Jett put his hands up and took a seat.

Detective Bronson led me through the room with all of their desks. We passed a man with mocha-colored skin and hair that was back in a seriously smooth ponytail. Damn, he was good. I had never been able to get mine that smooth. The man was a little on the stocky side, but he looked tougher than anyone I had ever met and he was a few inches taller than me. This place was full of attractive men. I smirked at him as we passed.

“Who do we have here, Bronson?” The man questioned after we had passed.

“One of Ell's and Oliver's girls,” Detective Bronson answered him. I scowled slightly.

“Nice to meet you, Princess,” the gentleman said to me. I nodded as Detective Bronson sat me at a desk across from the other gentleman.

“Myka, meet my partner Detective Harris,” Detective Bronson introduced me. I looked up at Bronson.

“Where are the detectives I want to see?” I questioned.

“Something came up, but they asked us to help you,” Detective Harris replied for him. I looked at Harris.

“Can't he speak for himself?” I had a bit of an attitude.

“Well, excuse me, Princess,” he replied, giving me attitude right back. I smiled. “What are you smiling at?”

  “You.”

“Myka,” Detective Bronson brought my attention to him. “Do you want to go into one of the rooms to talk?” I looked around the room we were in and there were a lot of detectives in there.

“I'd prefer that, thank you,” I answered him. I stood back up and the two detectives led me into an empty interrogation room. I sat at the table and Detective Bronson sat across from me, while Detective Harris sat on the table next to me. He held a notepad.

“So, what happened last night? Detective Royce said that you were abducted by your ex-fiancé, correct?” Detective Bronson asked. I nodded.

“Korbyn came to Jett's and put something over my mouth that knocked me out,” I began.

“Now who's Jett?” Detective Harris questioned. I rolled my eyes.

“Do you guys know anything about what's happened?” Harris gave me a hell of a look and I snickered. “Jett is kind of my boyfriend.” Harris went to ask me another question and I knew what it was. “Jett is mostly my boyfriend. He saves me when I need it. He was my best friend and I’m starting to fall in love with him. Okay?” Harris put his hands up. Bronson snickered.

“What else happened?” Detective Bronson wanted the rest of the story.

“When I woke up, I was tied to Korbyn's bed, with him on top of me, his brother Keegan watching and two other guys that are in his band,” I started again. “Korbyn cut my clothes off of me with a knife. He slapped me around a few times. Keegan violated me with his fingers, Korbyn with - “my voice cracked as I realized I was going to cry “- with his tongue.” I shivered violently. Detective Harris didn’t take his eyes off of me. So, I met his eyes with mine. “Then Korbyn got back on top of me and slid inside, while Kee slapped my face with his...” I trailed off, shaking my head.

“It's okay, Myka. You're doing great,” Detective Harris comforted me.

“Since I had called to Brady, one of his band mates, as he had left the room, Korb called him back into the room,” I continued. “The twins got off and did their own thing while Brady climbed on top of me. He soothed me the whole time he was on top of me and told me he had called Jett. Brady told me he'd stay put, just so the twins wouldn't get a hold of me again. He just held me, but was putting on a show for the rest of them. Brady was a guy I had been crazy about for as long as I'd been with Korbyn. Well, while that was going down, while he was pretending and comforting me, I told him to really do it. So, while he was, he untied my wrists, all the while whispering in my ear. Jett doesn't know that I had sex with Brady. Please don't tell him. I was right on the verge of tears. The detectives were silent for a moment.

“So Korbyn raped and assaulted you sexually and physically, Keegan assaulted you sexually and you had sex with Brady?” Detective Bronson asked, making sure he had the story straight. I nodded slowly.

“I haven't even had sex with Jett yet,” I whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks. “Besides, if it hadn't been convincing, Korbyn and Keegan would have figured it out and would have done something themselves.”

“So you didn't have much of a choice, Myka,” Detective Harris told me as I wiped the tears from my face. “It wasn't rape, but you had no other choice or the twins could have killed you.” I tried to suppress it, but a sob escaped my lips anyways. The detectives traded looks again.

“Did you have a rape kit done the other night?” Detective Bronson asked me. I nodded.

First one I've ever had. I've never turned in anyone else,” I told them.

“There were others? Harris asked me. Again, I nodded. “How many?” I laughed harshly.

  “Too many to remember.”

Both detectives sighed at the same time, which was actually kind of creepy, and they shared a look once again.

“So I m a whore,” I snapped. Harris put his hands up.

“Hey, Princess, no one ever said that. No one here thinks that,” he snapped right back. I held his stare and noticed that his eyes were actually soft beneath that hardcore outer shell. I smiled. “What are you smiling at now?”

“You,” Detective Bronson and I answered him in unison. I snickered, wiping my nose.

“That rape kit should be back today. Once we have the DNA match I will personally take these cowards down,” Detective Harris told me. I nodded.

“Can I go now?” I asked. The detectives stood up, Bronson getting the door for me.

“You came to us, remember?” Bronson said. I got up and started to walk out. Then I stopped and turned around.

“You’ll let me know when my rape kit comes back?”

“Of course, Princess,” Harris answered me. “We'll get these bastards.” I smiled and hesitated a moment before sticking my hand out to him, then to Bronson.

  “Thank you.” Then, I left.

  Chapter Seventeen

Jett took me back to his place and I lay down on his couch. I just wasn’t feeling good and pregnancy raced through my mind. I shook my head, hoping to shake the thought away.

Jett sat next to me on the couch and wrapped his arms around me. He kissed me gently before looking into my eyes.

“I love you, Myka. I don't want to lose you. Ever. I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Jett told me. I was shocked.

“I - I love you, too, Jett,” I whispered. He pulled a small box out of his pocket.

“It's not much, but it's a start,” Jett said, opening the box. I was speechless. Inside the box was a white gold ring that had hearts going across the top and bottom of the ring, with alexandrite stones dotting the middle, in-between the rows of hearts. I looked up at him finally and kissed him hard.
