At the stoplight, my thoughts shifted to the last time we made love. She moaned so loudly I thought we made a baby that night. It's strange that we had been trying for a baby since we got back from our honeymoon and she wasn't pregnant yet. I've had every test known to man done on us and our reproductive systems were perfectly fine.
I even made her stop smoking cigarettes before we were married so she would be pure when she finally got pregnant. But still her womb was empty. Instead of focusing on the negative, I tried to remain positive in knowing that it would happen when the time was right.
My dick grew harder in my hand. All I could think about was wrapping my hands around Angel's fat ass and entering her warm center. Biting and sucking my bottom lip, the light turned green and my foot pressed on the gas harder than I expected.
"Oh shit!" My foot quickly pounded the brake as I threw the car in park and hopped out. Briefly, I assessed the front of the car for any damage then turned noticing the woman knocked to her knees. "Damn, I swear I didn't mean to hit you. I wasn't even paying attention. Shit, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I think so."
"Oh my God. Let me take a look at you. It's okay, I'm a doctor," I noticed my voice excreting dignity when I said that as I helped the fallen woman up off the ground. "Hi, I'm Dr. Smart."
"Are you serious right now?" The lady chuckled.
"Um, yeah." I pulled out one of my business cards from my wallet handing it over. "I wouldn't lie about something like that."
"Dr. Vega Smart tried to run me over." She looked up into my eyes and I could tell she was a bit pissed about it.
"Listen, uh, I'm willing to take care of all of your medical expenses if you need it—"
"No, honestly I'm okay. Really...I'm fine." The young woman's dark brown eyes glistened in the sunset as she stared up at me. “My car is parked just over there. I just need to sit down and rest but I’m sure I’ll be fine, though.”
"Oh, okay then. Well you keep that card and if you ever need anything, anything at all please do not hesitate to call." I smiled releasing a faint sigh of relief.
"I just might hold you to that," she returned the smile as she walked off continuing her journey across the street.
Without wasting anymore time, I hopped back in the car and took off carefully. If the woman decided to take action later I wouldn't even blame her. I knew I was in the wrong, unable to focus on the road but on the thoughts of the caramel beauty I had at home. Besides it would all be worth it once I slid my dick inside the warmth of my beautiful wife.

"Bitch get your ass out from in front of my fucking house." Cookie stood in her white support bra with her protruding belly flapping over her large matching cotton granny panties.
I swear if it weren’t for the fact that some of my things were still here and the fact that I needed my clothes washed on the weekends, I wouldn’t even bother coming home. My mother, Cookie as I called her, was an overweight retired postal worker. Her life's goal had always been to spend her days sitting on the couch with her Turtles chocolates in hand watching the Young and the Restless all damn day. She loved and lived for drama. She got her rocks off by sticking her nose in everyone else's business yet hating when someone got in hers.
Shouting and jeers could be heard all the way down the street as I turned the corner to 73rd & Union. Pulling up in front of the house almost made me not want to exit the BMW truck that one of my old dips had left me a few months ago. It was gifts like that, which made me think about joining a Sugar Baby’s website.
Men were willing to drop whatever I asked just for a chance to be near big tits and thick thighs. Still thinking of ways to use what I’ve got to get what I wanted, I pried myself from the car hesitantly making my way up to the house. I dreaded opening my eyes to the scene and once I did I saw the crowd forming a circle around my mom and some other older black lady.
"What the hell is going on, Cookie?" I shoved her shoulder but she appeared unfazed.
"This bitch is mad cause I'm fucking with her man," she said to me before turning back to the lady as she removed her black bobbed wig to wave it at her. "It's not my fault your man wants to pay my bills bitch. Get on your knees more often and maybe he'll stay with your ugly ass."
"Naw bitch. Maybe you should stay off your knees for change cause they look ashy as hell, hoe," the woman countered, removing her short curly wig waving it hysterically as well.
"What are you bitches gonna do, wig each other to death?" I shook my head in utter disgust as some people in the crowd began taking out their cell phones to film the fight. "Look I've had a long day and I don't feel like dealing with this shit. Com' on, Cookie, let's just go in the house."
No sooner than I said the words had a man straightening his clothes exited the front door of the house. He was an older, scruffy salt and pepper bearded dark skinned man. If it weren't for how fast he was moving, I would've sworn that he was an older granddaddy with one foot in the grave. He stumbled up to the lady attempting to escort her away from the commotion.
"Yeah, Bobby you'd better take that bitch home and straighten her ass out. And when you're done with that garbage, be your ass back here at nine o'clock tonight. I need $500 to go to the eye doctor in the morning," Cookie taunted in a raspy voice, as the man said nothing while he shoved the lady into the car.
The lady continued to snap, beating on the man's head the entire time. The crowd dissipated as my mom collected her belongings from the ground. I left her ass out there heading up the porch and into the house. That shit was beyond ghetto and none of my damn business but the fucked up part about it was that I was immune to it.
"You are way too old for that shit, Cookie," I said, dropping the dirty laundry bag I hauled in on the floor.
“You know I don’t like when you call me that. I’m your momma and you will address me as such in my house.”
"Don't pull that momma shit on me now, know damn well you ain’t been any kind of momma ever in your life. Bitch I'm grown, anyway. While you're out there showing all your assets for no damn reason trying to fight hoes over a nothing ass nigga."
"Girl don't tell me how to live my life in my house. And, I wasn’t about to fight no bitch over nothing. If anything, I’ll pop a bitch with that banger I got right in my closet. I’m deadly with that motherfucka, I tell ya. Meanwhile, you worry about monitoring your own pussy," Cookie stomped in the house behind me barking the entire way. "Hell this shit is a profession. Instead of looking for love you need to be looking for money. Fo' real."
"Cookie, I'm not like you. I want my own man." I sucked my teeth. "I don't want to share no dick. I want to own it, for it to be mine."
"How did I raise you? Cause what I taught you about niggas ain't all beaches and rainbows, bitch. Truth is, no matter how much he claims to love you and be faithful, that dick will never be yours sweetie. Believe that." Cookie plopped back down in her groove on the couch.
"What'chu mean?"
"A man is gonna do what he wants to do regardless of if he's made a commitment to you or not. You know this. I've taught you everything I know baby girl." She tossed a Turtle in her mouth, smacking and sucking loudly. “Quit acting brand new.”
"Yeah I know but it would just be nice to be in love—"
"No such thang, lil' Cookie. No such thang." She snatched up the Comcast remote chuckling hard as she turned to her favorite channel, Soaps Network.
I stared at her wondering if there was truth to her rambling madness. Even after being away from her for so long I was still immune to her and her bullshit. At forty-eight years old, she had been a proud side bitch for over twenty years with no sign of stopping her whorish ways in sight. In fact, she was a sidepiece to my dad. Once he found out she was pregnant with me he bounced, never to be heard from again.
Men had been leaving me since before I could take my first breath. Too bad I wasn't used to it by now. For as long as I could remember, I never had a healthy relationship with Cookie. I figu
red my dad leaving her high and dry to raise a baby alone was the reason and also the reason she never had anymore kids. As I stared into her face, her teachings over the years slowly drifted back into my thoughts. Apart of me resented her for my wayward childhood growing up, playing men for money and even helping her play some of her dips as a child. Some days it was fun but on other days I would only dream of what normal kids were doing with normal families. Admittedly, those were the days I was the most depressed. It made me wonder why I ever still came back here to visit her at all.
Angel
Usher hummed about climaxing just as Jay and I had reached ours and collapsed next to each other on the king sized bed. He had left work on his lunch break to come and give me some of the goodness I had waited weeks for. He thought it was a good idea for us to slow down on our visits since I told him that Mika knew about us. Immediately, I understood but that didn’t mean that I had to like it. I was never in danger of Mika saying anything to Vega about the affair. But I honored Jay’s wishes to make him happy and ease his concerns of his brother finding out.
“That was great babe. But I think I should go. I don’t want Vega to catch me lying in his bed and shit.” Jay popped up out the bed with the quickness with an uneasy look on his face.
“Naw baby. Come back to bed and hold me. I’m tired of you leaving like a thief in the night,” I whined as I tugged on his arm.
“Angel, you know why I’m doing this. My little brother and I are good right now after years of not talking to each other and I want to keep it that way. I fucked up by fucking with you, straight up.” He pulled away from me sliding his Diesel jeans on swiftly.
“So what? You wanna stop fucking with me then?”
“Did I say that? That’s not what I said. Don’t put words in my mouth, Angel. I’m feeling you really hard but my brother and I just mended our relationship when I got out of jail. He was the only one to give me a chance when everyone else thought I would fuck up again. I don’t wanna lose him again. Besides, you don’t even know me Angel. You think you do but you have no idea.” Jay plopped on the bed lowering his head into his hands. “Damn, I fucked up.”
“Stop beating yourself up about this. It feels right. What we have is so much more than just fucking and you know it.” I rose to my knees pressing my bare tits against the flesh of his back. “I married the wrong brother and you know it.”
“You can’t sit there and tell me you don’t love him, Angel. I know you do. You’re just going through a rough patch right now like all married couples do. As soon as you get back good with him, you’ll forget all about me.”
Part of what he said was true. Vega and I were going through a rough patch. Not everyday was bad with my husband. And, it would be a total lie if I said I didn’t love him. But loving someone and being in love with them were two different things. My heart drifted more and more everyday towards Jay than it did Vega. Undeniably, they each provided something the other didn’t and I was torn between the two.
“Jay, don’t be like that baby. I feel for you like you feel for me and I think one day when it’s all said and done, we will be together.” And, I meant every word. “I wanna be with you, Jay.”
“That shit ain’t smart, Angel. Maybe we should just call this what it is and end this right here.”
“No. I’ll be damned if I let you go now. I’m not ready to let you go.”
My arms wrapped around his rather thin torso as if I would never see him again. He didn’t even bother to budge, only grabbing my hands to kiss both of them gently. Jay wasn’t as muscular as Vega but he was taller standing six feet tall. His mocha skin was as smooth as fresh chocolate. He had a small build but packed a great package in his jeans. Even though he was the older brother he held a heart shaped baby face with barely any hair shadowing it. I adored every inch of him from the top of his bald fade to the bottom of his size eleven feet.
“You know this shit ain’t right, Angel. I don’t want to let you go either but eventually it’s something we’ll have to do.” He turned pressing his lips passionately against mine. “Reality is, we can’t be together.”
“We’ll never have to do anything,” I began as I slowly kissed a trail down to the growing bulge in his jeans. “As long as we keep our game tight, we can live like kings.”
“I’ve got way too much baggage and way much more to lose than you. And what if I don’t want to share anymore? What if I want that perfect love story y’all started out having?”
His words forced me back up to his face locking eyes with him to make sure he was serious. “Then we’d have to make sure that we could be together without losing the things that we need in our lives.”
My response was vague but the look in his eye let me know that he got the gist of what I meant. After making out for another minute to seal the deal, I continued on my journey downward to his jeans. His warm body began to heat up even more as I unbuttoned him. Jay moaned heavily as I pulled his dick out and sank my mouth over it, slobbering wetness all down it as it stiffened in my mouth. I sucked it back up as I tightened my mouth only sending him to heaven as his head leaned back towards the ceiling. As I went down on him once more, I heard the front door slam through the sounds of Wale rapping about a Lotus Flower Bomb.
“Oh shit! Vega’s home early today.” My mouth shot off Jay’s dick as my eyes bucked wide open along with his.
“Man, I’m getting really tired of climbing out this damn window and shit, Angel,” Jay growled as he prepared for yet another escape.
“I know baby, I know. We’ll talk about it later but right now you’ve gotta go.”

One month. It’s been one fucking month since I last had Adrial in my arms. Well since the day he choked me out of fear. In class, he pretended like I wasn’t even there. It pissed me off that he ignored my winks, tiny love letters, and air kisses. I even waited after class to be able to talk to him but he jetted out the door each time before I could catch him. All I wanted to do was talk to him. I even resorted to raising my hand to answer his questions but he acted as if he didn’t see me. It was almost as if I was a ghost sitting in his class.
But I missed all of my morning classes just so when it came time for his afternoon class he would think that I was totally absent from school for the day. Today would be the day he spoke to me for sure. My heart was dangling on the edge of broken and I refused to have it hang out there any longer. Adrial was going to face me whether he felt like it or not.
Waiting outside the classroom door, I checked my cell for the time. It was two minutes before class let out but I was waiting for so long that it felt like a year. Students began to empty out of the classroom and just as the last person filed out I quickly slid inside. Adrial was at his desk packing up his lesson plans and collected homework for the day. My wedges beat the floor gently as he glanced up at me. The closer I became the further his head dropped as he took a deep breath.
“Hey baby. Avoiding me much?” I moved close pressing my breasts up against his arm.
“Violet, this is neither the time nor the place to be addressing me so informally.” He shuffled through some papers pretending he was extra busy, shoving me creating space.
“I’m wearing my favorite outfit for you. Remember you said you loved the way these jeans hugged my firm ass?” Turning to give him the view he loved of my skintight high waist Dereon jeans and yellow baby tee, I noticed he wasn’t even paying attention. “What the hell is wrong with you? First you want me then you ignore me…I’m really starting to think you’re on bullshit with me.”
“Bull—,” Adrial stepped back and closed his eyes. It seemed as though he was trying to refrain from raising his voice at me and causing a scene. “Listen, we were supposed to be giving each other space. I need space.”
“Space? It’s been a fucking month baby. How much damn space do you need?”
“I don’t know, okay?”
“You don’t know.” I fold
ed my arms. “Well, I need the lesson for today that I missed.”
“Yeah, um, I was thinking like maybe you should change your major and possibly take something else. You know, maybe you could drop the class all together and pick up a class with a different professor. I just don’t think it’s good that we be so close anymore. Do you feel where I'm coming from?” Adrial whispered before snatching up his crossbag and taking off.
“Excuse me? No, I’m not doing any of that. I love this class and I love my major. And…I love you Adrial. You said I was everything, you said—“
“What I said is irrelevant now. You need to get a fucking grip girl. Don’t you get it? Whatever it is you think we had, is over. Get the fuck out of my life,” Adrial growled lightly so as not to raise his voice.
The expression on his face was so sinister it would’ve scared even the evilest of demons. Surprisingly though, I was not afraid. I stared into his eyes wondering if that was just fear he was speaking from. If the words he said weren’t hurtful at all but in fact ways he called out for help, help to get rid of the situation he was in with his wife. The man I knew didn’t talk to me like that. He loved me deeply down inside. But she was keeping him from me.
“Adrial, the moments we shared were so magical I know you don’t just want to throw it all away like that. Don’t worry. I think I know what I need to do to save us.” Gently, I caressed his cheek to soothe the pain he was feeling inside.
“Don’t do shit, Violet. You’re so fucked up in the head that it’s down right pathetic. Stop talking to me, calling me, sending me love letters. As a matter of fact, if you so much as fucking look at me funny I’m calling the police and having your ass arrested.” His eyebrows were curled over and teeth were snarled much like they were the night he wrapped his hands around my neck. “You fucking crazy ass bitch.”
