Fictitious Love 2

All I knew was he was better than me because ain't no way in hell I would allow Tahtiana to continue to see a nigga or bitch who used to eat her pussy once upon a time. That nigga wanna doubt my abilities to take his girl because he got a dick and I don't, but if only he knew the shit I had in store for Tahtiana, he would be stepping his fucking game up tenfold.

“Jazz, if you woke up one morning and had a dick, what would you do?” Tahtiana asked out of nowhere.

“What?” I asked with laughter in my voice.

This damn girl is wild, I thought to myself.

  “I'm serious, Jazz.”

“I can tell. But I would get it sucked, of course,” I told her.

“That's what I would do,” she chuckled.

  “Then come fuck you.”

Me saying that made her laugh harder. “I would rock your fucking world, Jazmere Clay. I swear, I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I got some bomb shit.”

“But you're not bragging, huh?” I laughed.

She shook her head. “Too bad you don't have a dick, though. You could have found out for yourself.”

I had to do a double take because if I didn't know any better, I would think that Tahtiana James was flirting with me. Even though she was looking straight ahead at the road, I could tell that she was serious as hell even though she said it in a joking manner.

“So what you're saying is, if I was born a nigga and wanted some pussy, you would have given it to me?” I asked even though I already knew the answer.

She just glanced at me out the corner of her eye before sighing. “It doesn't really matter now, does it, Jazz?”

That right there just let me know that she wanted me but she was conflicted because she had never dealt with a woman before and that was the only thing holding her back. It was definitely time for me to step my game up so Tahtiana could see that with me was where she needed to be.

  20: Tahtiana

It was time to move to a different subject because I didn't want to give Jazz any false hope or string her along. She was really cool and laid back. I really liked having her around but I don't want her to get hurt by thinking that I would eventually end up being with her somewhere down the line.

I blamed myself for how the conversation took the turn for the worst because I shouldn't have even opened that door, whether I was joking or not. I had to remember there were certain things you couldn’t say when there were feelings involved.

  “Aw, hell,” Jazz laughed.

“What?” I asked as I pulled up in the restaurant driveway.

  “Red Lobster?” she asked.

“Yea, what's wrong with coming here?”

“Nothing, come on,” she said as she got out.

She came over to my side and helped me out of the Range Rover that I loved so much. It seemed like ever since I’d hit my six month mark, I’d blown up overnight and I’d gotten so big that I’d told my doctor to check and make sure that there was only one baby in there. He thought I was joking, but I was dead serious.

When we walked in, the hostess took us to a booth that I wasn't quite sure I was going to fit it into, but I made it work.

“You should let me hook you up with somebody,” I told Jazz as my greedy ass stuffed a cheddar biscuit in my mouth.

  “Nope.” She shook her head.

  “Why not?”

  “Because.”

“I think you should give men a try, Jazmere. I understand that you went through a traumatizing experience but you shouldn't let it hold you back. You should get in therapy. I'll even go to the sessions with you as a support system if you want.”

That was another reason that I kept Jazz around, she didn't have anybody. She’d admitted to me that ever since her mother found out about the rape, their relationship had gone downhill. Her mother started blaming herself and turned to a world of drugs and became somebody Jazz didn't know, so she really didn't have anybody in this life.

“But…I think what you really need is some dick. Some good dick, though. I promise, it will change your life,” I told her.

Jazz looked at me like I was crazy for a few seconds before throwing a piece of the biscuit she was eating at me.

  “Shut yo ass up.”

I couldn't help but to laugh. “I’m just saying.”

“Isn't this a cute sight to see? Hey, Thotiana.”

I looked up and laughed at Shantell’s pathetic ass. This bitch wanted to try me knowing I don't mind getting a little ignorant. I guess she forgot I saved her life the other night. Since I was in a good mood and too hungry to tangle with her today, she got a free pass.

“Hey, bitch, can you step to the side? My waiter is trying to get through,” I said as I shooed her away.

“Does DeMoni know you're out with the same nigga you left him for while you're carrying what's supposed to be his child?” she asked.

Jazz and I connected eyes and busted out laughing at this bitch. She stood there looking dumb as hell, wondering why the hell she was the butt of a joke she didn't even know she had just told.

“Shantell, is there something you need? If not, could you please move out of the way so we can place our order? Thank you.”

Finally catching the hint, the dingy bitch went on about her business while Jazz and I ordered our food.

  ___

Before I could even stick my key in the door, the front door was snatched open and I was being pulled in the house by the front of my maxi dress.

“DeMoni, what the hell is wrong with you?” I yelled as I dropped my bags.

“No, what the hell is wrong with you? Parading around the fucking city with your little side bitch? You fucking that bitch or something, Tahtiana?” he yelled in my face.

The only thing that was registering in my brain at this moment was the fact that he knew I was out with Jazz, not that I was trying to hide it. So that meant he had to have talked to Shantell. Any other time he knew I was out with her, he never acted this way; he just fucked me real good to remind me who he was. What I really wanted to ask was how was I fucking somebody who didn’t even have a dick.

“Why are you communicating with that bitch?” I asked, trying not to slap the shit out of him.

  “What?” he asked.

  WHAP!

“Get the fuck out of my face, DeMoni!”

  WHAP!

  “Oh shit, Tahti!”

I stood there with my hand up to my lip, tasting blood in my mouth. Never in the ten and a half years that I’d known DeMoni had he ever put his hands on me. Never. This was so new to me that I didn't even know how to react to this shit.

“You hit me,” I whispered in disbelief.

He tried to take a step towards me but I quickly moved out of his way. At this moment, I was no different than the rest of the hoes that he had dealt with before, during, and after me.

“Get out,” I said as tears fell from my eyes.

  “Tahti—”

“GET OUT!” I yelled so loud that it shook my body.

Without another word, he turned and quietly walked out the door. I continued to stand there silently crying as the realization set in that DeMoni had actually put his hands on me. Just when I thought we were putting all the bullshit behind us and moving forward, we took two steps backward.

I think that hurt more than anything he had ever done to me and at this point, I don't know if he could ever come back from this.

  21: Moni

Three weeks. Three fucking weeks. That’s how long it had been since the incident at Tahti’s and I was still in disbelief about the fact that I had actually put my hands on her. To make matters even worse, I did it while she was carrying my son. Never in our history of knowing each other had I ever put my hands on her, not even a so much as a choke outside of our love making sessions.

Now I done went and seriously fucked up.

“Moni, do you hear me talking to you?”

  “What, Shantell?” I sighed.

Yea, I told you that I had seriously fucked
up. If Tahti found out about this shit, she would be ready to kill my ass. That’s why I made it perfectly clear that this shit was to stay between us or there was going to be some shit.

“I said, could we stop by the mall and get our daughter something? I’m not done shopping for her. I still have to get her crib and—”

“What the hell is wrong with you women? Why do y’all wait until the last damn minute to get shit like that knowing the baby is going to need somewhere to sleep and shit like that?”

“Because some women just like to wait. Women are not guaranteed to carry their babies to full-term so what would be the point of buying all that shit and you can’t even have a baby?” she retorted.

In some crazy twisted way, I knew her ass was trying to take shots at Tahti. This bitch was dirty and since Tahti wasn’t here to defend herself, I definitely wasn’t going to let her go out like that.

“Well, had your stupid ass gotten that damn abortion like I told you to instead of running away, you wouldn’t have to be going through this, now would you?” I threw at her.

“So it’s okay for her to have your baby but I can’t? You are so full of shit, DeMoni,” she said as she folded her arms over her chest.

“Exactly. I wanted her to have my baby, not you. To keep it all the way real with you, I don’t even think that’s my baby while you got me out here trying to play the baby daddy role and shit.

“Cut the bullshit, DeMoni. I know you. You know damn well that if you didn’t feel like this baby was yours, there was no way in hell that you would have just sat there that doctor’s appointment with me. You know deep down in your heart that this baby is yours but you’re in denial and don’t want to admit it because of Tahtiana. I’m letting you know now, when my daughter gets here, she’s not going to be tossed to the side and mistreated all because that bitch wanna feel some type of way about me. If I have to beat her ass every time I see her for disrespecting my daughter, I will, so you better set some rules and regulations now, DeMoni.”

I didn’t know who Shantell thought she was talking to, but she sure did have the wrong nigga. I was running this shit, not her. Talking about I need to set some rules and regulations. Fuck she think I am? She got this all types of twisted.

The only one who needed some rules and regulations was her ass because when she popped that baby out and the DNA results came back that her baby was mine, then she was going to have to learn her place. No matter how you flipped the coin or how the cards fell, she was just going to be my baby mama and I hated that she was going to be that shit.

I could see how, in the future, she was going to be the cause of many of me and Tahti’s arguments and a nigga didn’t need that type of stress in his life. I might look up one day and Tahti would be done killed her ass because that was just how crazy she was.

I had to do a light chuckle because I was up here talking about me and Tahti’s future when, as of right now, we didn’t even have a damn present. My damn girl could be so stubborn sometimes that it drove me crazy. The only reason I was willing to leave her alone and give her some space was because she was pregnant.

I remembered when she first found out she was pregnant, I was driving her ass crazy. Due to all the miscarriages, we were really rooting for this baby and so far, so good. Now, I just didn’t want her ass flipping out and going into premature labor. That’s why I was so stuck on the fact that I actually hit her. I didn’t know what I was thinking. Or if I was thinking at all.

I was just praying to God that we could make it through this like all the other obstacles we’d made it through. I loved that girl too much to lose her.

  22: Alpha

I looked over at Tahani and her face held no emotion. Opening my car door, I swiftly walked over to hers and opened it for her, helping her out.

  “You good?” I asked.

“Yea, this is long overdue. Some things I need to get off my chest, anyways,” she answered.

I nodded my head in agreement. When I had the initial thought to show up at Kelvin’s house, the idea to bring Tahani never popped up in my head until she asked me to come with her to talk to him. I quickly agreed, figuring I could kill two birds with one stone.

I should have handled this nigga when he tried to rape Dominique, but her begging me not to kill him and telling me about her being pregnant with Keylin was the only thing that saved his worthless life. But that was then and this was now. He had been a plague in everyone’s lives and if I had to eliminate him so that my family could live carefree, then I would.

Tahani knocked on the door and I stepped to the side so he wouldn’t see me when he opened the door. Hitting the button ignore on my vibrating phone, I pushed my wife to the back of my mind, reminding myself to get up with her later.

  “Hani, what—”

“Save the pleasantries, muthafucka. We didn’t come here for all that,” I said as I pushed the front door open wide.

The look on his face was priceless. The first day Tahani was in the hospital and Dominique slapped the shit out of him was the first time we had crossed paths with each other in years. I grew in the drug game and after he found out he wasn’t cut out for that lifestyle, he turned to the other side of the spectrum.

We’d never crossed paths in our dealings because he knew better than to ever try to come at me with some bullshit. He knew I had no problems putting a bullet in his ass. Shit, I still don’t.

“Don’t be rude and stand there, bitch,” I spat.

  “Why are you here?”

“I asked him to come,” Tahani spoke up. “We’re going to make this visit short. Stay away from my son and me. I want nothing else to do with you. As far as I’m concerned, Jerry is my dad and his granddad. That shit you did, there’s no coming back from it. I could have lost my son because of you.”

This nigga was standing there looking as if he wanted to put a bullet in his own daughter. “What the fuck are you saying, Tahani?!” he yelled as he took a step towards her.

“I wish the fuck you would,” I told him as I pushed Tahani behind me and showed him the butt of my gun that was tucked in my pants.

I was too old to be out here toting a damn gun around like I was in my twenties, but I would do whatever it took when it came down to my family and I considered Hani to be family. If I had to drop her dad right where he stood because he wanted to go in bitch mode, then that’s just what the fuck I would do.

“This doesn’t have shit to do with you. This is between me and my daughter,” he yelled. This nigga was so mad that he had spit flying out of his mouth.

“You better calm down before you give yourself a heart attack.” I smirked.

“Tahani, do you really think I would want to hurt my own grandson? My own flesh and blood? I had no idea Juanie was going to be with that boy when Tristan went after him. He—”

“Does it matter?” Tahani yelled, cutting him off. “You should have never sent him after Omega, period. Just stay away from us, Kelvin,” she said before turning to me. “I said what I had to say. I’m ready to go.”

Reaching in my pocket, I handed her my keys and sent her to the car, letting her know that I would be out in a minute. She hesitated for a minute before walking out without sparing her bitch of a father a second glance. After she left, I stood there staring Kelvin down, wondering how I wanted to approach this situation.

“Say whatever it is you need to say and get the hell out of my house,” he said to me. “You turned my damn daughter against me.”

I chuckled. “You turned your daughter against you the moment you locked my son up on some bullshit. Look, Kelvin, you know me so you know how I get down. Stay the fuck away from Tahani and Juanie and you damn sure better stay the fuck farther away from Omega. I was going to sit back and let him handle you, but I’m the head of this family and you’ve been a thorn in my side for too damn long. If you so much as even come within a hundred feet of anyone of my family, Tahani and Tahti included, they won’t be able to identify your body. Fuck with me
if you want to,” I told him.

I looked him straight in his eyes as I spoke so he knew I was dead ass serious. Seeing the fear in his eyes, I headed for the door. As I placed my hand on the doorknob, I turned around as another thought hit me.

“Tell your little bitch Tristan he can bring his ass out of hiding,” I told him before leaving.

I was tired of playing games with these niggas who are just as sweet as peach cobbler. They wouldn’t kill somebody if you put a gun in they hand and pulled the trigger for them.

  ___

  “Alpha, do you hear me?”

“What did I tell you about calling me that?” I asked my wife Monica.

Not once since the day that I met her had I ever allowed her to call me the name that Dominique gave me. She knew that she wasn’t allowed to call me that and every now and then she’d try to be slick about it, but I quickly put that in check.

“Is that all I have to do for me to get your attention?” she asked like she had an attitude.

“You had my attention until you got to talking about some shit I wasn’t interested in, then I had to tone your ass out,” I told her honestly.

“Oh, so because I asked you where you were sleeping last week, for a week straight, you suddenly lost interest in the conversation?” she questioned.

  “Pretty much.”

She said something but the door to the restaurant that we were eating in opened and something caught my eye. Someone who looked like Dominique walked in, but I just knew it couldn’t be her because this lady walked in grinning and holding hands with a nigga.

Just to make sure, I pulled out my phone and called her. I watched them as they were being seated and, sure enough, she pulled her phone out of her purse and hit a button just as I was sent to voicemail. I chuckled as I slid my phone back in my pocket and got out of my seat.

“I’ll be back,” I told Monica.

Being the rude nigga that I was, I walked up to their table and helped myself to a seat. Dominique rolled her eyes but I really didn’t give a damn about her attitude. Just the other day she was throwing a damn temper tantrum about me not giving a fuck about her and marrying somebody else, but here she was with another nigga.
