  She sneered, “So…the man lives!”

Sam rose his upper body up off the floor, shading his eyes from the glare, “Did you always plan to execute me?”

“If you had done as you were instructed none of this would be happening.”

“I did my job! I got close to the target.”

The woman smirked, “A little too close. It was stupid to think you could do it…far too blond for my liking.”

“I wasn’t too blond when we were fucking.”

“You were an itch I needed scratching.”

The man struggled to his feet, feeling every bone react to his movements, “I should hate you but I don’t. You sent me on a mission that changed my life. So, thank you.”

The woman grimaced, screwing her face up in revulsion, “Shut the fuck up! I don’t want to hear about that perversion!”

The man grinned, smugly, “At least with him I didn’t have to fake it.”

Roth’s face turned menacing, her eyes glaring with anger toward him, “Well you’ll have your happy perverted memories to take with you to face the firing squad.”

The woman retreated from the room, the door closing, blocking out the light.

Sam sunk to the floor aware that he may never see his friends again.

Max had found some rolled oats in a bag in the bus and an unbroken bottle of Lenny’s sly grog. He drank the beer while using a pot to mix some porridge; he couldn’t organize a rescue on an empty stomach.

He heard the sound of the bike, first, before spotting the vehicle.

He rose to his feet running toward the road, coming to stand in the middle of it, waving his stubby hands.

The bike got closer. He realized it was Boofhead and Joh Kincaid. He had others to help him with a rescue.

Marlin awoke, battered and bruised, secured to a chair by thick leather straps.

Roth stood before him, hands on hips, smirking, “Welcome back.”

His head felt groggy, as if he’d been on the piss all night, “So…you got me…at last. It took you long enough.”

The woman struck him across the face leaving a red welt mark in the shape of her hand, “Your asinine friends have caused me a great deal of trouble. Don’t push your luck.”

Marlin gritted his teeth, “Why wait! Go ahead! Do your worst.”

“Why would I do that when I can have more fun this way?” The woman paced around him, coming to a stop behind the chair, “I would get such pleasure watching you see your lover face a firing squad.”

“You bitch!” spat Marlin, struggling in his restraints. “He was only with us because you ordered him to be there.”

“He failed his mission,” snarled the woman, gripping the back of his hair, pulling his face backward toward her. “Now, I have to get my pleasures somewhere else since you corrupted him.”

“He is a better man with me than a cold hearted bitch like you.”

The woman struggled to keep control, when all she wanted to do was smash his head against the floor, splattering his brains.

She put her mouth close to his ear, “But you’ll never have him again…in this life time.”

“Why are you so scared of me?”

The woman stood up, cackling, “You’re delusional! I don’t fear a fag like you but Supreme Command does.”

“I’m just one man. I have no arms. I am harmless.”

“You have one weapon that is just as powerful,” spoke the woman, touching the side of her head. “You’re mind.”

Marlin frowned with confusion, “You give me too much credit.”

“I agree but I take my orders from command. Your past is littered with accounts of your anti-establishment ways.” The woman began to sneer, “You’ll never tolerate the new regime. So you must be stopped before others begin to listen to you.”

The woman walked around to face him again; a sly grin on her face imagining what was in stall for this dissident. She went to the door rapping her knuckles on it. A trooper opened the cell door.

  “Take this fucker away.”

The trooper released his hand straps, pulling the man to his feet. Marlin felt a wave of dizziness but couldn’t sit down as the troopers dragged him out.

The trooper carted him down a corridor, opening a barred door at the end, entering a gantry situated above a work area.

Marlin looked on, astounded; stopping to look down upon rows of stationary exercise bikes that were connected by cables to a bank of storage cells.

An alarm suddenly sounded, startling the man. He watched as men, women and even children, in thread bare rags, looking grimy and malnourished, entered the work area. They were in appalling conditions.

Marlin turned to the trooper, “I thought the concentration camps were abolished with the Nazis…I can see I was wrong.”

Before he was moved on, Marlin watched all the prisoners climb aboard the exercise bikes and begin peddling. At the end of each row was a meter that climbed as the bikes generated power.

The guards patrolled the aisles with a Cat of Nine tails, if one of the prisoners slowed down they would get a lashing. It was nothing more than a torture camp.

Marlin was forced onward along the gantry to a set of stairs leading down to the area below.

Boofhead drove the bike, with Joh hanging on behind him and Max sitting in front.

They scanned the back streets of Dubbo finding the faded red door that Max knew so well. He wouldn’t miss it.

Boofhead pulled up on the lawn, his passengers immediately getting off.

Max approached the door, hesitantly, wondering

what kind of a reception he would receive. Yet the image of Frazer propelled him onwards.

  He knocked, and then waited.

Lila opened the red door, beautiful and vivacious, her blond hair flowing in golden coils, peppered with gray. She wore sexy lingerie and a pair of stilettos.

The mature aged vixen grinned, smugly, as she sucked on a cigarette.

She looked him up and down for a moment, before speaking in a husky voice, “Well, well, if it isn’t Maxi Sanders. I thought you would have died from herpes by now.”

“Lila! You’re looking as fit as ever.”

“I work at it,” spoke the woman, fluffing up her hair. “Though, I could use a rinse.”

Max eyed her body, beginning to salivate, she still have a shapely figure he was drawn to, he wasn’t interested in stick girls, “These are my friends, Joh Kincaid and Boofhead.”

The woman turned to the two young men, puffing away on her contraband cigarette, “How sweet! You brought me a gift.” She turned back to him, “So what brings a fossil like you to my door? We did break up, didn’t we?”

“Yes, all water under the bridge now.”

  “For you.”

“Ahh, could we come in? I need a favor…for old time sake.”

Lila was intrigued by this mysterious request, moving aside to let the party into her abode.

She smirked, wondering what excitement the little man had brought to her door again. He always managed to make life interesting, even with a broken heart.

Santanna opened her eyes, gazing around at the small medical unit, her head was splitting. She felt every bone in her body groan when she moved. Her face was black and blue, her right arm bandaged up. She felt similar binding around her ribs. It hurt to breathe. Yet, at least, she was alive.

The woman tried to sit up but a young girl nearby came to her aid forcing her back down, “Steady, lov, you had quite a battering.”

The girl was in her mid-twenties with long, dark dreadlocks and a slim figure. She had a perpetual cheeky smile.

  “How do I look?”

“You’re lucky they removed all the mirrors, too many patients using them to escape.”

Santanna frowned, “You don’t look like an Enforcer.”

  “I’m not…I am nurse.”

  “How’d ya score that gig?”

“I went to school and go an education.”

  Santa
nna studied the girl, she looked familiar, “Do I know you?”

The girl shook her head, “No…I’m Miranda Vickers.”

Suddenly, a giant penny dropped on her head, she realized the girl before her was the person they had come for. She didn’t look that traumatized.

Lila escorted the boys into her parlor that was all class and elegance. There were soft pink curtains, delicate figures dotted about and antique furniture.

Lila left them to prepare refreshments for her guests.

The men sat down, a little uncomfortable amongst all this finery. They were afraid to move in case something might break.

Lila brought in a tray of drinks, containing Lenny’s brew. Each guy took a glass, sipping the content. Lila took the last glass for herself, taking a long thirsty gulp.

Joh noticed a trail of grog slide down her neck disappearing between her cleavage. He was attracted to the old duck.

Lila sat down in a chair next to him, giving the biker a suggestive wink, before turning her gaze to Max, “So you old rogue, what mess are you in now? Does the piece of fluff have a name?”

“It’s not exactly a woman this time.”

“A man! My, my you have changed.”

  “He’s a friend.”

Lila laughed, her beasts heaving with her body, exciting the biker, “You don’t do friends…unless they have a vagina.”

“I need this guy. He is our one chance to bring down this whole stinking government.”

Lila was amused by his proposal, to bring down a government was an exciting concept.

Joh gazed around the room, the conversation just got boring. He stopped, noticing a framed pictured of a girl with pig tails.

“Well that does intrigue me but I could end up losing all of this,” spoke the woman, waving her arms about the room.

“But we would be free to do what we liked, not be directed by the Enforcers.”

Lila screwed up her face, “Weren’t you a part of their empire?”

“Things have changed…I no longer believe in them.”

Joh rose off the sofa. Boofhead looked on aghast at him. He was breaking ranks. He could get them into trouble. He didn’t want to upset the lady.

Boofhead watched his boss circle the sofa going over to a side board where he picked up the photo. Joh studied the face, not realizing he was staring into Enforcer Cross’s features. She was cute.

He turned back to Lila, “Who’s the girl?”

Lila came up behind him, “That’s my daughter. Bec. Last I heard, she’d joined a hippie commune near Melbourne.”

Before she moved away, the woman squeezed Joh’s ass, firmly. He almost jumped out of his skin, his cock stirring. The woman gave him a wink before moving away.

The other two men were oblivious to her flirtation with the biker.

She turned on Max, “Okay, so what is it you want from me, Maxi?”

Miranda Vickers closed the door on the infirmary thinking of the long hot bath waiting for her in the guard’s quarters.

Her cheeky smile wasn’t due to the pleasure of her work; it was the sex she was getting seven days a week. It was better than living as a prisoner.

Being fucked up from endless torture treatments could cause a prisoner to do the unthinkable. Their minds changed, now fighting alongside the one time enemy.

Commander Roth stepped away from the wall of the corridor, “So, you met the woman?”

“Yes, my brother has the oddest taste in friends. He always did.”

  “You know what to do?”

  “I get close.”

  “And then?”

The woman smirked, retrieving a small hand gun from a garter underneath her crisp white uniform, “I shoot him.”

“Your brother will never know what hit him,” smiled Roth.

The woman placed an arm around the nurse, leading her away. This woman was going to prove an asset; she was going to be the perfect assassin.

Marlin was shown into a dining hall with rows of tables and bench seats. There was a disused kitchen at one end; cob webs coated the pots and pan. There was the scurry of rats about the edges of the room. He could smell the musty scent of decay.

The guard remained at the door as Marlin circumnavigated the room.

An alarm sounded, prisoners were being herded into the room. They jostled for a seat at the tables. He’s sister wasn’t amongst this lot.

A couple of service attendance, also prisoners, moved out through the room placing jugs of murky, brown water on each table.

As soon as the jugs were set down, the prisoners grappled with each other to grab a cup of the precious liquid.

Another group of service attendances went from table to table placing down bowls of supplements. Again, the prisoners fought each other for their own share. They were starving.

Marlin grabbed one of the service attendances, who looked a lot less malnourished than the prisoners, “Is that all they get to eat?”

“Of course, food is forbidden. You must know that.”

Marlin was appalled by this, “But what are they all doing here?”

“This camp provides power for the government.”

  “Is it just the government?”

“And those higher society types that can afford it.”

  “What about everyone else?”

“They don’t care, as long as their Camembert is still firm.”

The service attendance moved on continuing with his work. Marlin couldn’t believe the double standards. The government was sitting in comfort from the blood, sweat and tears of these poor souls. This place had to go.

Lila Verona approached the gates to the fenced-off camp; she could see the familiar portable buildings and the power factory that dominated the land beyond. The guards on the gate knew her, “Morning, Mrs Verona.”

“I’m here to see Harrison, is he free?”

“For you ma’am,” spoke the other guard, opening the main gate to let her through.

The woman pranced through the gates. The three house guests waited around the corner.

Lila went straight to the administration building going inside, finding Harrison’s dutiful but horrid secretary waiting for her.

This woman never smiled, always wearing an expression of someone who over indulged with lemon juice.

“Good morning, Hilda, would you be good enough to buzz me through.”

  “Do you have an appointment?”

“Ahh, no I didn’t think I needed one.”

“Well, you can’t expect a busy man like Mr Pace to drop everything for a prima-donna.”

“If you would just check with him.”

The woman didn’t move at first working through every scenario, a smirk curled her lips as the thought about kicking this jezebel to the curb. Yet, Hilda knew when Mr Pace found out, he would take it out on her.

She grudgingly picked up a phone to call into his office, “Sir, I have a Mrs Varona here to speak with you.”

Harrison Pace burst from his office, looking excited to see his lover. He kissed her lips before bustling the woman inside his office, ordering Hilda to hold all further communications.

As soon as the door was closed, they began kissing, passionately. Harrison began working his mouth down toward her neck. She heard that familiar, dreaded sound of his fly being unzipped.

She summoned her courage to go through with it one more time, just to get the information she required. She always left here with her dignity in tatters.

When it was over, she wiped the cum from her face with a lace handkerchief, putting it into her purse.

Harrison was so relaxed after blowing a load. He was always more malleable.

He slipped into a padded, leather sofa, grinning like a drunken idiot.

She paced the room looking at all his personal effects, passing by a bank of security cameras. He had coverage from all over the prison on these monitors.

Lila noticed a new face that must be Marlin sitting by himself in the dining hall,
What have we here, a new prisoner? He looks so wholesome.”

  “He’s a degenerate.”

“I guess you can never tell.”

Harrison patted his lap which beckoned the woman over to him.

He grabbed her, swinging his lover around to sit side ways across his lap, “You are so beautiful. My wife doesn’t look half as good as you. She barely washes herself.”

“Isn’t she a Born Again Christian?”

“Yes, and very devout too. No sex for me.”

“Oh, I don’t understand her. You deserve to be treated special.”

He kissed her mouth; roughly, the garlic pills had

  left a horrid stench.

Lila was grateful when he came up for air, “So what is going to happen to him?”

  “What…who?”

  “That prisoner?”

“Oh…nothing yet but they are shooting his mate at dawn.”

“I assume that will be in the execution yard in town?”

  “I don’t think so?”

Lila turned back to him, fluttering her eye-lids, “But it could be. You would be able to sneak away afterwards for a little bit of fun. No one would notice.”

Harrison smiled, laughing at the cunning plan. He thirst for the hours spent with this woman. He had to take every spare moment he could to be with her.

Santanna dozed between excruciating pains, waking to find her nurse leaning over the bed.

Miranda held a mug in her hand, “Wakey, wakey, Sleeping beauty, I’ve brought you some Ginseng. It’s meant to cure all ailments.”

The woman frowned, “I thought any consumption was illegal?”

“I have my secret stash.” The woman helped her to sit up, plumping up the pillows behind her back, “It’s all produced in hot houses free of contaminates.”

“But there are people who could use that food.”

“There isn’t enough for everyone. The process isn’t completely successful…yet.”

Santanna sipped the mug of ginseng, enjoying the taste; it did seem to make her feel much better.
