“Is this what you want?” he asked, driving into her deeper. “You want this dick?”

“Yes, give it to me,” she said, exhaling with every word.

  “You want it, huh?”

  “Yes.”

He grabbed her by each ankle and spread her legs as wide as they could go. She could feel every inch of him as he fucked her like he was power driven. Her back and ass cheeks got hammered into the mattress. All she could do was take the dick, all of it.

“I’m cumming,” she screamed. He felt her pussy spasm as she reached a climax. She bit into his shoulder as the waves rocked her.

“Aw, fuck. Fuck. I’m gonna cum,” he growled. “Shit.” His hot jism burst and filled the walls of her soaking pussy. His back buckled as he let it all out. Finally, he fell against her and sighed deeply.

“I love you,” she whispered. There was a pregnant pause.

“Me too,” he finally said and rolled off her. He turned his back and it wasn’t long before he was fast asleep.

Shae disengaged herself from the sheets and headed to the bathroom. After she’d firmly closed the door, she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her brain churned with thoughts and questions.

What kind of a response was that? Larry had never said, “me too,” when she professed her love for him.

Even though the sex had been explosive and mindblowing, something just didn’t feel right. Shae knew Larry well, and could sense that he was keeping something from her. She wouldn’t ask because as most men were prone to do, he’d probably lie. She would find out on her own what her husband wasn’t telling her.

  Chapter Five

Toby stopped at a CITGO gas station. When he went inside he saw Drew, a guy who bought large amounts of weed from him on a regular basis.

  “What up, Drew?” he greeted.

“Nothin’, dawg. What’s good wit’ you?” Drew was brown-skinned, medium height, and muscular, sporting long dreads.

  “Nothin’ Just chillin’. You tight?”

“Yeah, for now. I’ll holla at you before this weekend though. I’ll need something for my road trip to Miami.”

“Aiight,” he said. Drew turned to leave. “Hey, man, have you seen Lester around?”

Drew paused in thought. “Nah, not today. But, he hang under the tree playing cards with them cats over there by Gyros.”

“The one off 16th Street South?”

Drew nodded. “Yeah, in that vacant lot next to Ikes #2. He be over there all the time,” he said.

  “Aiight.”

  “I’ll holla.”

  “Peace.”

After pumping his gas, Toby decided to roll through and see if he could find Lester. As luck had it, Lester was exactly where Drew thought he’d be. Toby spotted his slick-talking ass in his polyester suit right away.

“Hey, Lester, let me holla at you for a minute,” he called to him.

Lester got up from his seat at the card table and walked to Toby’s ride.

“What’s up, Big Tobe?” he asked. “What can I do for you?”

Toby had to shake his head; Lester looked like Pinky from Next Friday, minus the Jheri curl.

“I heard about this video you selling, St. Pete’s Bitches Gone Wild. You got any copies?”

“You lucked up ‘cause I just ran off another hundred. That motherfucker is selling fast. I got this hot bitch on it that’s all kinda freaky. You got to see her, man. How many you want?”

Toby smirked. “I’ll be taking all of them off ya hands.” He aimed the Beretta that was in his lap at Lester. Lester’s mouth dropped open in shock. “You see that hot bitch you talking about is my fucking sister.” Toby got out of his vehicle, still pointing the gun at Lester. “Now, show me where you have them.”

“I didn’t know she was ya sister, man,” Lester said nervously. He hurried to his Cadillac and popped the trunk. “They’re all right here. That’s all the copies I have left.”

“You sure? ‘Cause if I hear of you selling any more of these, I’m coming for you. That’s a promise.”

“I swear to God that’s all I got.”

“It better be,” he said threateningly.

“I didn’t mean to offend you, Big Tobe. It’s all about business. I hope you don’t hold it again me,” Lester said, handing over the duffel bag of DVD’s. “Besides, ya sister was down for whatever,” he said smugly. “She was a willing participant.”

Toby had been calm up until that point. “Why you standing there lying in my face, man? Are you trying to insult my intelligence or what?” Toby snapped, gripping the gun tighter.

“No. No,” Lester answered quickly, keeping his eye on the Beretta. He prayed he could control his bladder.

“A willing participant don’t need to be drugged, the last time I checked,” Toby said, his eyes like glaciers.

  “I- I- I-” Lester stammered.

“I- I- I- nothing, motherfucker. You know you slipped something into her drink. That’s a mistake you will have to pay for.”

“Wait, Big Tobe. I ain’t the one responsible-” Before he could get another word out, the butt of the Beretta cracked him across the skull. He fell to the ground, screaming in pain. Toby pounced on him, giving him a hard-core pistol whipping.

“You chose the wrong woman to run games on. You picked my blood, motherfucker. I’ll kill about me and mines. Do you understand me, nigga?” he asked, as he continuously brought the gun down on various parts of Lester’s torso.

“Yeah, Big Tobe, I get it. Please don’t hit me no more,” Lester wailed, curling up to avoid the worst blows. “Please have mercy,” he sobbed. Toby continued to beat him as he remembered what Della told him.

“Have mercy? What? Are you fucking serious? You and them niggas didn’t have no mercy on my sister, did you, motherfucker?” He felt like kicking Lester to sleep, but refrained.

Finally, spent from pistol whipping the punk for five minutes straight, he backed off. By that time a crowded had gathered around the two men. No one made a move to help Lester or to intervene. They knew not to mess with Toby. The rumors about his mother being crazy had circulated throughout the hood. The apple probably didn’t fall too far from the tree: all of her children had issues. Whatever Lester had gotten into, he had to get out of it on his own. Everyone knew how slimy Lester could be and thought he deserved the ass whipping he was getting.

Toby, breathing hard, stared down at Lester in disgust. The sorry bastard had pissed on himself. “It’s all about business, Lester. I hope you don’t hold it against me,” he mimicked before he walked off.

After he’d whipped Lester like a slave, Toby went to check out the happenings at Somethin’ Different, a place they tried to pass off as a nightclub. Regardless of the small size, the building stayed packed.

He saw two guys from around the way, Chad and

Adrian, looking like they were getting ready to leave, and went to see where they were headed.

“What’s up, niggas?” They greeted each other with the customary hand slap. “Where y’all off to?”

“We “bout to go over to Mike’s place and play some poker,” Adrian said.

  “Who all gonna be there?”

“Probably Tim Ross, Rick, Sterling- you know, the usual niggas,” Chad said.

“I might fade through there later. I’mma chill here for a minute.”

  “Alright. Peace.”

  “Peace.”

He watched them leave. Chad was cool, but Adrian talked a lot of shit. Sometimes he felt like hitting that nigga dead in the grill. But, he usually held his cool and just let Adrian flap his gums.

He knew he wasn’t going to go play poker. He was about making money, not losing it. Besides, he didn’t feel like sitting around with a bunch of niggas.

He only stayed at the club for a little while, peoplewatching. He watched women flirting, men coming on strong to the women, and even saw a cross-dresser getting his mack on. No way could anyone confuse him for a woman because he was muscular w
ith huge hands and a big Adam’s apple.

At a certain time, the atmosphere changed and Somethin’ Different became Somethin’ Dirty. Everyone seemed to get buck wild when that happened. Toby didn’t want to stick around. As soon as the lights dimmed and the music changed, he got up to leave. It wasn’t really late, but he decided to head home. It had been a long day. Pistol whipping Lester had taken what was left of his energy. He didn’t like how beating someone made him feel. He didn’t understand how his mother could do it for all those years. She had to be heartless or crazy...or a combination of both.

He wondered if she ever regretted the abuse she’d inflicted on them. Did she even think about her children? What made her snap and try to kill him…kill all of them? He doubted ever getting the answers. If he said he missed her, he’d be lying.

When he got to the house, all was quiet. He figured Shae and Larry had turned in for the night. Della was probably asleep too. He placed the duffel bag of DVD’s in a corner. He’d give them to Della in the morning and she could do whatever she wanted with them.

Once in his room, he took the money he’d made that day out of his pocket. It was a damn shame that all of it came from selling drugs.

Again, he thought about getting out the game. He wanted to lead a different life. He had potential and drive. He just couldn’t see himself selling drugs for too much longer. It was just taking something out of him.

He had so much money that he didn’t know what to do with it. He wasn’t overly flashy, so jewelry didn’t impress him. He didn’t even have the customary gold grill of most drug dealers. He had so many clothes and shoes that he just gave them away. Sometimes he packed up stuff he’d grown tired of and just dropped it in one of those church drop boxes.

He knew that having so many material things was his way of compensating for growing up poor, without much. He still remembered the humiliation he felt from being teased at school because he didn’t wear the latest fashions. No one teased him now; they envied him. Some were jealous and even downright hated him.

He sighed and plopped down on his bed. What was he going to do? Unlike years before, no one was forcing him to sell drugs. He could stop whenever he wanted. The question was: did he really want to stop?

  Chapter Six

Della was curled up in the bed when her cell phone rang. She didn’t want to answer it, but glanced at the screen. She saw that it was Shae and pushed accept to receive the call.

  “Hello?” she mumbled.

“Della, I forgot Imani’s diaper bag. I had so much on my mind this morning I just left it on the couch. Can you do me a favor and drop it off to the babysitter at Vivian’s?”

“It’s too early to get up,” she grumbled.

“Come on, Della. Please. It’s just a small favor,” Shae said. “You know I wouldn’t bother you if it wasn’t important.”

“Alright. I’ll do it,” she relented.

  “Thanks. Bye.”

  “Bye.”

Della dragged her tired body out of the bed. A dark cloud had settled over her the past few weeks. She just wanted to sleep all the time. When she was asleep, she didn’t have to think. When her mind was functioning, all she could envision was getting even with the men who had violated her.

Anger thoughts ransacked her brain. How dare those motherfuckers take advantage of her when she was incapacitated? She liked to be in control of her body and what they’d done was strip her of that control. They’d taken her dignity and self-worth in the process. Nothing was worse than that. Well, one thing. Having the embarrassing moment videotaped.

She didn’t care that it was eighty degrees outside. She threw on a black pair of jeans, a black hoodie, black boots, and dark shades. She felt like she was heading to a funeral. Inside, her soul had died a slow death, so black was befitting. Her clothes matched her mood.

She went downstairs and retrieved the diaper bag. Just as she headed for the door, loud music blasted from upstairs.

“Why does Toby think the whole world want to hear that shit?” she snapped and went out the door before the bass from the music gave her a headache.

She got in her Toyota Corolla and headed toward Vivian’s place. She purposely kept her mind blank until she pulled up in front of the house. She hadn’t been there since she’d gotten kicked out the day Vivian caught her in the act with Richard. She hadn’t seen Richard since that day either. He’d tried to contact her several times, but she’d ignored his phone calls.

She noticed his Land Rover parked in the driveway and sucked air through her teeth.

I hope I don’t have to encounter this motherfucker, she thought. She just didn’t feel up to dealing with him.

She grabbed the diaper bag, went up the walkway, and rang the doorbell. She prayed that Richard wouldn’t answer the door, but he did. Seeing his face immediately pissed her off.

“Er…hello, Della,” he said awkwardly. “What are you doing here?”

“Whatever. Here.” She thrust the diaper bag at him. “Shae left this and told me to drop it off for the babysitter.” She turned on her heels, ready to stalk off.

“Della, what’s up? Why are you being so cold? Wait.”

She whirled around. “What do you want?”

“Nothing. I just thought after what we shared, you know. Well, I thought we could at least be civil to one another,” he said. His eyes roamed over her body. He was a cocky motherfucker. She could tell he still wanted to fuck her. If she gave him any indication that she was even remotely interested, he’d take her up on it. He wasn’t trying to work things out with Vivian. He was still living a lie and pretending because he’d gotten caught. Fucking hypocrite!

She snatched off her shades and glared at him. “Let me tell you something, you grimy motherfucker. We didn’t have shit! Got that? We just fucked. I let you fuck me so that I could have my way. It didn’t mean shit to me. Just sexual gratification. You should be ashamed of yourself, fucking a seventeen-year-old,” she spat out.

Richard’s face turned evil. “You weren’t complaining about being too young back then. As a matter of fact, you worked my dick like a pro, if I remember correctly,” he smirked.

“Whatever, Richard. I don’t have time for this.” She got ready to walk off, but he yanked her by the arm, halting her. “What the fuck do you want?” she yelled.

“You little slut,” he hissed. “I almost lost my wife because of you, and now you’re talking shit to me? You came on to me. You wanted to fuck me just as much as I wanted to fuck you. So, don’t play games now.”

Della hauled off and slapped Richard so hard that lights exploded behind his eyelids.

“Don’t ever touch me again,” she snarled, snatching her arm out of his grip. “You deranged sick motherfucker.”

“What the fuck is wrong with you, bitch?” Richard yelled. “You hit me.” He held his cheek, glaring at her.

“I’ll do more than that if you touch me again,” she threatened.” He advanced toward her. “Don’t even think about it. I know all about how you contacted under-aged girls on MySpace and FaceBook, trying to hook up with them,” she said quickly, stopping him in his tracks. “Yes,” she nodded in satisfaction. “I know all about the sick things that turn you on. My sister doesn’t know and so far, neither does the rest of the world. If you want to keep it that way, don’t fuck with me,” she warned.

Richard’s eyes almost bugged out of their sockets. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” His words lacked conviction. She could tell he was nervous by the tremble in his voice.

“What the fuck ever. I used to check your MySpace and FaceBook messages when you forgot to log off the computer,” she said smugly. “I saw the pictures you sent to minors. Yeah, the pictures of your dick.” Her eyes dared him to deny it. “Say it isn’t true.”

He finally dropped his head in shame. “They asked for it. It’s not like I just sent them randomly,” he tried to explain.

“You’re the adult. A fourteen or fifteen year old chil
d doesn’t know what they want. You got major issues.” She couldn’t believe he tried to make excuses for his actions.

“Those young girls aren’t stupid.” He was cocky once again, his guilt quickly forgotten. “They seek out the older men. They want someone with experience, someone who can give them material things. They are not all innocent. Age is just a number. They have bodies like grown women. They know how to do everything that a grown woman-”

Della interrupted him. “You keep trying to justify why you want to stick your dick in a fourteen year old. There’s no justification. If you don’t think it’s a problem, you are in denial. Get some help.”

“Don’t tell anyone about this. Promise me,” he said desperately. “I stand to lose too much.”

“Motherfucker, I don’t owe you anything. Whatever you lose, it’s your own fault.” She wanted to spit on him. He stood there trying to appear to be so self-righteous. He behaved as though someone had wronged him. He was the one sending nude photos over the internet. He was the one hooking up with teen-aged girls, doing God knows what. She hoped that he got caught. It would serve him right.

“Go to hell, Della,” he said. “I knew you were trouble from the moment I laid eyes on you.”

“Well, I should have known you were a pervert the moment you stuck your dick in me, but I didn’t. Men like you make me sick. You always think with your dick then wonder why it gets you in trouble. Oh, by the way, you were a dead fuck.” She calmly put her shades back on and walked off. Richard stood in the doorway with his mouth hanging open.

After her conversation with Richard, she was even more furious. She hated men. All they thought about was sticking their dicks in a hole. It didn’t matter whether the hole belonged to a woman, a girl, or in some cases another man or a boy. Hell, some of them even fucked animals. Nasty motherfuckers.
