“Okay, but why is that a bad thing Sar?”

“I guess it isn’t, I’m just afraid Kenny?”

“Well don’t be, Col is nothing like any of the guys you’ve ever dated. I seriously think there’s more there than you know.”

“Okay, but why do you think that?”

“It’s just the way he looks at you sometimes, just trust me on this. Now, tell me what the hell last night and Ollie were?”

“I have no earthly clue! I mean I saw him on Monday, we talked for a few minutes, then I headed out to get my knives sharpened. Last night, I rushed by him, but he just stood there with this weird look on his face. I have no clue I swear, but he said he was in love with me Kenny, how do I even take that?”

“Idk, but I say let sleeping dogs lie. If he says nothing about it, you do the same. I know you have some kind of feelings for him, it would be next to impossible not to, especially after nearly four months of hanging and sleeping together; but you’re in love with Colin, the one thing you’ve wanted for the last ten years, is it even really worth taking a closer look at what Ollie said last night?”

“No, and fine, if you say so. Alright, I need to head out to the mall; I have shite in the clothing realm.”

“Okay, we’ll meet up at tu casa.”

“Okay, later.” I said and hung up.

I left my bedroom, snatched up my purse, keys, then walked out the door.

  Hamburger

  Hamlet…

  “So, what happened last night?”

“Fucken Titianna.” Colin said frowning, and Missanna frowned too.

“Okay, but I thought you said the other night that you guys were over?” She asked, then smiled as Kevin placed the coke beside her plate, then sat down next to her.

She decided to ignore his sexy ass, because right now she was concerned about her homies.

Although she did wink at him, and he grinned.

Colin noticed the exchange, and shook his head chuckling.

He would let him find out on his own.

Missanna was one of those women; you didn’t have a one night stand with. From what he knew, DaVon was still stuck on stupid where she was concerned because of it.

But neither was Sariekiko, which was why he never tried.

Plus he felt like he’d be fucked for life if he did, especially if it was even a small fraction of what he’d imagined these last ten years.

Sarie was wifie material, and he realized that years ago; and if he had his way, she would be just that.

“We are, and were. I have no clue why she showed up yesterday, of all days. I haven’t seen or heard from her in a year. Last I heard she was doing Sports Illustrated in Hawaii.” Colin howled, and Missanna nodded sipping her coke.

“Fine, but you need to come correct Colin, and stop pussy-footing around.” He laughed then.

“I’m not; I’m trying to take it slow.”

“Wtf do you mean take it slow. It’s been ten fucken years; you don’t have time to take it slow!”

“Fine, but you know how I feel about her Missa, it hasn’t changed in ten years; if anything, it’s worse now, that I’ve actually tasted her.” he whispered, and Kevin laughed.

  “You nasty.”Missanna cried.

“I didn’t mean it like that ass!” Colin cried back, and Missanna laughed.

“Fine, but get cho ass in gear. Now, Kenny texted to tell me that we’re going to the Beverly Palms tonight, so I suggest you show yo ass up. Can you still Salsa?”

“Yeah, I guess, why?” Colon frowned.

“Because Ms. Kerry’s ass would have to pick Salsa night.”

“Oh shit, Ms. Kerry is going?” Kevin asked, and they laughed.

  “Yes, why?”

“Please say you’re my gurl. I can’t take him tonight!” Kevin groaned, and Colin and Missanna laughed.

“Fine, I’ll rescue you from Ms. Kerry.” Missanna said as she leaned over and kissed his cheek; and he grinned from ear to ear.

“What time?” Colin asked as he signaled the waiter for the check.

He nodded, then walked their way.

“8, if I’m not mistaken. I’ll call Sar, make sure, then text you. And I suggest you go hard tonight. It won’t be a one night stand and you know it.” Missanna said, winked at Kevin again, then sauntered off leaving the men to pay the bill.

“Fuck, I want seriously.” Kevin cried as he watched her plentiful ass.

“I’m telling you now; Missa is too much woman for you Kev.” Colin declared laughing.

“We’ll just see about that.” Kevin returned with a wolfish grin.

Colin shook his head laughing as they paid the bill, then exited the restaurant.

  Glendale

  Galleria…

I sighed as I looked through the rack at Charlotte Ruse, then frowned.

It seemed like every dress I liked, was either too big, or too small.

  I frowned and walked out.

I so wasn’t feeling Forever 21. That was just too young for me.

And I was so over hochie gear.

  Those days were gone.

I wanted something good for Salsa, but sexy as well.

Oh well, I guess I was heading to Macy’s even if I didn’t want to.

I spotted the dress I wanted immediately, and grinned from ear to ear.

I took the dress to the sales clerk so I could try it on.

  Ventura…

Colin looked in the mirror grinning.

  It was on tonight!

He popped his collar, then fixed the red hankie, straightened his red tie, then walked from his bedroom.

Ten years, and she would be his…and his alone.

He looked up surprised as the doorbell rang.

He glanced at his watch, then frowned.

He’d sworn that Kevin said he would meet him there, something about not wanting to drive all the way out to his house.

As he walked to the door, his frown deepened.

“Seriously dude, what?” he said as he snatched the door open.

“Just thought I’d stop by to say hey, it’s been years; and well I figured you still couldn’t be pissed at me over one woman.” Kellen said as he stood in the doorway grinning.

“Dude, I don’t have time for your shit tonight.” Colin said as he grabbed his phone, keys, then wallet.

“So it’s true, she’s back on the scene?” he asked as Colin closed his front door behind him; but paused and turned towards Kellen.

“So that’s the real reason you’re here right? Wow, after eight years Kel, really. You haven’t said shit to me in eight fucken years, pissed on any kind of friendship we might have had, fucked me every way you could have in this business because of it; but you have the nerve to show up at my house of all places, asking about Sarie? Stay the fuck away from her Kellen, she doesn’t need your bullshit.”

“Col, I’m sorry. I’m not the same person that I was. I’m concerned about Sariekiko, seriously. But as far as the ultimatum, dude seriously? She was with me, remember.” he stated smiling slightly, and Colin took a step towards him, then shook his head.

“You’re not even fucken worth it. Stay away from her Kellen, and I mean that.” Colin spat, then walked to his B.M.W. refusing to look back at him.

“Let’s see if she feels the same way.” Kellen called after him, and Colin rolled down the window and gave him the bird as he backed out his driveway and sped off.

  Kellen frowned then.

“This is far from over dick.” he spat, then walked to his car.

  Hollywood…

At 7:20 I looked at the clock, sighed, then walked into my bedroom to look at myself in the full length mirror.

I looked hot, even if I said so myself.

I frowned slightly, as I turned to look at the slop of the dress; then wondered if it revealed too much. You could actually see the top of my Tramp Stamp.

Oh well, I giggled, then looked up as the doorbell rang.

  “What up?”
I grinned as I opened the door for Kendra and Missanna.

“Dayum! I like!” Kendra cried and I did a twirl, then grinned even wider.

“Yup, Colin is gone tap that ass tonight for sho when he sees you in that.” Missanna laughed, and I frowned.

  “Wait, what?”

“Yea, they’re meeting us there.” Missanna frowned as well.

“No one told me he was going! I never would have bought this dress!” I wailed, and they both sighed.

Missanna walked into the kitchen, poured a shot of tequila, then walked back into the living room.

“Here, take this wit cho bipolar ass! This is what you’ve wanted for ten years now! Why the fuck are you running from it?” She cried, and my frown grew.

“I don’t know. I’m just scared. I never thought I would ever have a chance with Colin, so this is just so crazy to me!” I cried, knocked back the shot, then sighed as I placed the glass on the counter, grabbed my wrap, my purse; then let them drag me out the front door.

  “I’m driving.” Missanna said.

  “Oh, but…”

“No, c’mon.” Kendra snapped, then jerked me in the direction of Missanna’s Audi.

“Fine.” I grumbled, and wished I had another shot of tequila.

I gasped as Oliver suddenly popped up in front of us.

  “Sar, I was wondering if…”

“Hey Ollie she can’t right now, we have to be somewhere. You can catch her later.” Kendra said smiling as she dragged me off, and I looked back to see the deep frown on his face.

“Damnit Kenny!” I wailed as she shoved me in the back seat, and she shook her head.

“No, we are not going there Sar, and I mean it!”

“What the fuck was that?” Missanna cried.

“Later.” Kendra said waving it off, and I just frowned at her.

  Beverly

  Palms…

As I got out of the car, I felt my heart slam into my chest as I spotted him.

  OMG!

I wanted to cum right there.

His amazing frame was laced in what had to be Armani, his hair gelled perfectly to the side, and the red tie played off the black suit. I noticed he didn’t shave, so I was loving the blond stubble.

As we walked to them, he held out his hand, then winked at me.

I took it, and a deep breath.

As we entered the hotel, I was feeling the music.

“The bar?” Missanna asked, and I nodded.

I chuckled as I noticed that Kevin’s eyes were glued to Missanna’s ass. I guess he couldn’t help it, just like the rest of the men she passed, as the red dress she wore cling to every curve; then bellowed just above the knees.

That was way too much cleavage for my prissy self, but Missanna could pull it off.

“Drink?” Colin asked smiling, and I nodded.

“Triple shot, with a Corona chaser.” I said, and he nodded.

They were actually playing R&B and I looked to the Dj booth. I totally felt like dancing, as Kelela’s Bank Head spun through the club.

I knocked back the shot, then grinned up at him as he did the same.

“Be right back?” he yelled over the music, and I nodded. He indicated my purse and coat, and I frowned.

“I got chue.” he called, I nodded, handed my apparel to him; then watched as Kevin, Mannford, Ms. Kerry, Armando and Barry followed him.

I embraced Sandra tightly as she came to the bar.

“I’m so excited for you!” I yelled over the music, and she grinned from ear to ear.

I laughed as I saw Victor, Ricardo and their partners walk our way.

Missanna had gone all out trying to get us all together again.

“Omg, omg, omg!” I screamed as I saw DaVon and JaVon walking my way. I ran to them and embraced them both tightly laughing.

“Damn gurl! I haven’t seen you in forever!” DaVon cried as he embraced me again, then JaVon shoved him out the way so that he could embrace me too.

“We need a table.” Missanna yelled over the music, and I nodded pointing to the huge table in the corner.

Colin caught my wrist, and I looked back surprised.

“I had one reserved for us when Missa told me who she was inviting.” He yelled over the music, and I nodded as he tugged me the other way. I noticed that Missanna and the others were already headed that way.

The table filled quickly, so by the time Colin and I got there, there was only one seat left.

He sat down, then pulled me onto his lap.

I looked at him surprised, and he grinned, then kissed my lips.

Thank God he didn’t linger, or there is no telling what I would have done.

He smelled amazing, my heart sped up its beat as his hand rested on my thigh, and my vajush was doing some acrobatics of its own.

“When you finish your drink, I want to dance with you.” He whispered in my ear, I gasped, then closed my eyes, biting my lip.

When I opened them, I noticed that the entire table was grinning at us. I felt my face turn three shades of red.

I killed the shot, then sipped on my beer, as I attempted to listen to the conversations going on around me, trying my best not to concentrate on his hand lightly caressing my thigh.

When I finished the beer, he bounced his knee, I looked at him and he lifted me to my feet. He took off his jacket, then placed it on the chair.

“Ready?” He asked as I put the beer bottle on the table, and I nodded grinning.

He pulled me to the dance floor then.

He placed his hand on the small of my back, and there was that feeling again.

I looked up at him wide-eyed and opened mouth.

What the fuck was wrong with me?

Ever since the kitchen, every time he touched me, I seemed to just melt for him practically. He spun me out, then brought me back, and wrapped my arms around his neck turning with the beat. Thank God for the 3 ½ inch shoes. Even then, I was still way shorter than him.

I totally forgot how well, not to mention sexy he Salased.

“Sar?” He called grinning, and I looked up at him surprised.

“Hum?” I frowned, then missed the beat.

  “Let go.”

“What…why?” I asked puzzled, and he laughed.

“Because…Dude here…I’m supposed to lead?” He said laughing, I gasped, then smacked him laughing myself.

“Oh shit. Fine.” I said continuing to laugh, and he spun us, as it became an Afro-Cuban beat.

I felt the tequila go to my head then and sighed.

It felt amazing to be in his arms.

I knew I was buzzed, because I suddenly felt very flushed and lightheaded.

But was it the drink, or him?

He pulled me closer to him as the tempo of the music slowed. The beat gradually changed to a Cubaton. I turned my back to him and could feel his chest pressed against my back.

I looked up and saw Missanna and Kendra giving me thumbs up, and I grinned.

Missanna seemed to be dancing very close to Kevin as well, and the look on his face was sheer pleasure as she rolled her hips into him and he bit his lip.

They immediately left my mind as Colin’s hands slowly came to encircle my hips, and I felt him keep the beat as he taped my hips.

His chin was resting on the pulse at my neck.

I could feel his soft breath on the side of my face.

  I was in heaven.

To say he’s attracted to me would be a moot point, or the bulge I felt behind me would be non-existent.

  Would we really go there?

I wanted to so bad, but he was the kind of guy that if things went wrong, you didn’t easily bounce back from.

Colin was damn near perfect, even with his flaws.

He brought my arm up and placed it around his neck backwards. It sent shivers down my spine as his hand gently ran down the length of it.

I sighed and moved further into him, and I could have sworn I heard him chuckle.

  Clo
sure’s Latch sang into the club, and I noticed he pulled me completely into him as his hands went to my hips again swaying them.

This song was so seductive, and it wasn’t just the tequila either.

He smelled so good, and the scent of him seemed to envelope me even more. The song changed again to Omarion’s Know You Better, and I laughed surprised.

I never knew them to play something that R&B.

He turned me again so now we were facing each other; he placed his knee between my legs and pulled me even closer.

As I looked up, I saw the heat in his eyes.

We both swayed with the music, he spun me again, then pulled me close. So close in fact, our lips were mere inches apart.

As I looked up and into his amazing cobalt blue eyes there appeared to be an even deeper affection residing there, and I bit my lip, not sure of it.

I could almost believe I saw something more than friendship there, more than lust.

His lips hovered over mine for an instant, and as his head bent the first thing that came to mind as his lips took mine…was oh my fricken God!

I moaned against his lips, then pulled back from him looking away from him at the others.

I saw Kendra and Mannford watching us grinning.

Actually, the more I looked around; I saw that the entire table was watching us, as DaVon give Colin thumbs up laughing.

Wow, had they all been rooting for him?

  Shit!

“Don’t be embarrassed, you do the same to me.” He whispered, and I looked up at him.

  He was smiling.

The music spun into a Bichata, and I sighed as he just held me close.

  Finally, he asked.

  “Wanna sit?” I nodded.

He pulled me back to our table, then called the waiter over.

“Another?” He asked, and I nodded because I was thirsty.

“Yea.” I grinned, and he nodded smiling.

I noticed he didn’t order one.

  ***

For the next hour, I had a blast.

When Ms. Kerry did his “thang,” I was loving it.
