Nobody Can Love You Like Them Roughnecks Do 3

A few hours later, I was finished, and since Cydney had provided lunch, I decided to eat.
As she directed the other girl, I watched, stuffing my face until someone came into view that I didn’t want to see. Merlin approached the other model, kissed her lips, and then paused when his eyes landed on me. I kept eating my food, and soon enough, he started over toward me, letting her get back to work.
“Damn, long time no see.” He smiled, standing over me.
“Yep.”
He sat next to me and asked, “So how have you been?”
“I’ve been good.” I stared straight ahead, tearing this plate up. I could feel him looking at me.
“I see you’re hungry as hell. That shit about you being pregnant must be true.”
I had on a hoodie to cover my body at the moment.
“Don’t worry about it.”
“I never expected you to be with a nigga who would have you pregnant at the same time as two other females.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“So you’re the only one that’s been pregnant by him recently? Them other two bitches just made it up?”
“Leave it alone, Merlin. You’re misinformed.”
“You know I still fuck with you, and if you’re done with that nigga, I’m willing to try with you again. And I find it funny how I had you longer but you never wanted to give me a baby.”
“Are you seriously over here trying to get back with me while your girlfriend is in the same room?”
“She’d be a distant memory if you wanted that.”
“Hey, Cydney. I’m going to go ahead and leave!” I shouted, throwing my plate in the trashcan nearby and grabbing my duffel bag.
“Okay, let me get your stuff!” she hollered back.
“Blaise—”
“Fuck off, Merlin,” I hissed while waiting for Cydney to bring me the free clothes she promised and a check.
He said nothing as I hugged her and then left out.
On the way home, I stopped for some ice cream. By the time I got inside my condo to eat it in front of the TV, I saw my phone going crazy. Opening up the social media app, I realized Merlin had posted me on his story saying They always come back, with a heart. The blogs were having a field day of course, and I was thanking God Belly didn’t frequent social media and would be occupied with training until tonight.
Niggas were so thirsty. Some of these men were just as messy as women.
To my surprise though, just as I was about to lock my phone, a message from Belly came through.
Mine: As soon as this match is over.
I smirked, already knowing what he meant. Merlin was going to regret that post.
Just two days later…
I was on Rodeo because I wanted to get some new shoes and an outfit for Belly’s upcoming match. It was his most anticipated fight and also the most anticipated fight of the year. Cameras would be everywhere, so he told me I would be by his side the whole night, except for during the fight. By saying that, I wanted to look even better than I usually did for his matches. I always dressed up for them, but since this one was so big, I wanted to be extra.
As soon as I walked into Dior, I saw Kharla. I would have turned right around, but there was a specific purse I wanted. Ignoring her, I spoke to the stylist who’d greeted me, and then proceeded to look at the purses on display.
“Excuse me, can I see that one?” I pointed upward to the pretty embroidered bag that I’d been salivating over.
“Sure thing, Miss.” The lady grabbed it from up top with assistance, and then walked it over to the glass counter. “Are you Blaise Cansino?” she inquired, catching me off guard.
“I am. How do you know me?”
“I watch your TV show.” The woman nodded then laughed when I palmed my forehead.
“I’m sorry, I’m just not used to people recognizing me yet. But thanks for watching. May I see the silver one too, please?” I looked up into her eyes, and she quickly went to fetch it.
After she brought back the silver variant, she gave me some time to look them over and decide.
“I like the silver; it’s more of your style.” Kharla walked up. I knew her voice by now. I ignored her, continuing to survey the beautiful bag. I hated that I liked the silver more. “Is it for an occasion?”
“Kharla, I am trying to shop in peace. Thanks though.”
“No, I know. I wasn’t trying to bother you. I’ve been eyeing that bag as well, but it’s a bit too pricey at the moment. I mean, I can afford it, but it’d have to be my birthday for me to drop thousands like that.”
“Then what are you doing in this boutique?”
“Just buying a wallet.”
I rolled my eyes.
“Okay, I think I’m going to get both,” I let the stylist know, and she turned to me smiling.
“Wow, Belly must be footing the bill,” Kharla commented, shock dripping from her voice as I fetched my wallet from my purse.
“No, he bought me enough stuff this week, so I’m taking care of this one.” I handed the lady my card. Kharla was quiet, letting what I’d just said marinate. “I have options. I can have my man buy it, or I can buy it. You’ll know what that’s like one day.”
“Have a seat, Miss Cansino, and I will package everything up, then bring it out to you in a few,” the stylist let me know after handing me a receipt paper to sign.
“Okay.” I went to sit down, and of course, Kharla followed, holding her Dior shopping bag. I took one of the waters I was offered and sipped it.
“Blaise, I don’t want to have any beef with you. It stresses me out, and I don’t like it.”
“Why would it stress you out? You don’t even know me and shouldn’t be worried about me. And honey, we don’t have beef. Us having beef would mean I think about you, and I don’t.”
“Okay, fair enough. I guess this so-called beef is one sided then. And us not being on good terms doesn’t stress me out. What stresses me out is not being with Belly.” As I processed her words, she felt the need to add more. “I was thinking that we could come to some sort of an agreement. I mean, let’s be honest. Belly can’t last in a monogamous relationship for too long. So since he enjoys us the most, I say you and I just share him, keeping him away from the others.
Think of how much easier it would be if it was just us two instead of Sienna, Maia, Cadence, Megyn, and whoever a new one may be?” She chuckled, smiling widely.
“You should honestly see a psychologist before you get fucked up. Cortez Khalil will not be shared in anyway. It’ll be me, him, my daughter, and our baby.” I touched my stomach, admitting the truth to her. “And now that I’m gonna be living with him, we’ll be even closer.” I smirked, standing up since the lady brought my bags out.
“Baby? So it is true? And living with him? No! No you can’t!” Kharla hopped up like a fool. “Ah!”
WHAM!
I’d thrown my glass of water in her face and slapped the dog shit out of her, making her fall back down into her chair.
“Calm your stupid ass down and get some help,” I whispered angrily. The store was quiet, and here she was acting like a banshee. “Now I suggest you post a thirst trap on Instagram and wait for a rapper to slide in your DM’s so you can latch onto him. Listen to me when I tell you that you will never experience Cortez again.”
With water dripping from her face, ruining her makeup, she broke down into an ugly cry. I guess my last sentence had hit home.
Turning around, I headed out of the store and made a right so I could continue shopping peacefully.
Once I was finished, buying a new pair of heels, a dress, and a top, I went to get my car from valet. Since I was thirsty, I pulled into the parking lot of some bar/cafe to get a drink. After I placed my order, I stood in the waiting area.
“That’s where my money is going.” Some older white man grinned at his friend, pointing to the mounted television.
On it was Belly’s commercial for his
upcoming match. The men were smiling and clamoring about, saying how they’d placed bets on him and some on Strauss. The women were giggling and talking, obviously admiring how handsome my baby daddy was.
“Nah, I’m going with Strauss. Khalil is too good looking,” the white man’s friend replied. “The handsome boxers will never beat the unfortunate looking ones.”
Laughing, the initial man responded, “Khalil has beat everyone he’s fought, so your theory is shot, my friend.”
As I watched the commercial myself, my skin got hot, and I was very bothered seeing Belly’s sexy ass up there, shirtless, and in boxing attire. Feeling my clit begin to pulsate, I pulled my iPhone from my purse.
Me: Where are you?
Before he could reply, I was typing again.
Me: I want you to fuck me.
Me: Let me suck your dick first.
Mine: I was headed to the gym to workout but that shit can wait.
Mine: Come.
Mine: RIGHT NOW.
I snickered, grabbing my drink from the counter since it was placed there just in time, and then I rushed out.
Will
Despite Priscilla and I not being together, I’d been doing my best not to indulge in my addiction. I’d been struggling, but the only way I’d been coping was by making sure I stayed busy.
I was taking 80 percent of the clients that emailed me, no matter how stupid their idea sounded. And Belly had a lot of shit going on because of the fight with Mason Strauss, so that kept me on the move.
Also, those late nights where I would be alone, off, and urging, I drank myself into a stupor. I was waking up with horrible ass, paralyzing headaches, but anything that would get me through the day without fucking a prostitute was fine by me.
I just didn’t want to be addicted to that shit anymore. Not to mention, now that my personal life had been put on blast, the last thing I needed to be caught doing was the same old shit. I could kill Geena’s ass for putting my business on front street.
As I put the finishing touches on yet another rapper’s stupid ass album cover, I heard someone buzzing the front door of my studio. Saving my work, I hopped up, left the room, then rounded the corner to see who it was.
I saw pretty ass Priscilla standing there, with the LA sun beaming on her chocolate skin. She was wearing a dress that outlined her body perfectly, and her curly hair was hanging down her back. But as good as she looked, we were over and done with.
“Yeah?” I opened the door to peek my head out. I purposely frowned so she’d have no idea that I was basking in her beauty.
“I’ve been calling you.”
“So what.”
“You’re seriously having a child with Nichole?”
I looked down the street, squinting at the bright sun, before turning my attention back to her. In the midst of trying to keep my dick clean and stressing about her going back to her baby daddy, I’d forgotten all about Nichole. After she told me she knew for sure I was the dad, she hadn’t talked to me since. I’d texted and called but got no replies or answer, so I’d let her be for now; out of sight, out of mind.
“Why does that matter? You got who you want, and it ain’t me, so my personal life shouldn’t really matter to or affect you.”
“So had I not gone back to Rafi, then what? Huh? You would have just kept stringing me along then one day told me Nichole was in labor?”
“I ain’t tell you because I’m not sure if I’m the dad. Nichole isn’t exactly a one-man woman, so any nigga could be the father. She said it was me, Ian, or Belly.” I shrugged.
“You know it isn’t Belly’s.” She shook her head, face saying she was disgusted. “I can’t believe you. I actually thought you were different, but you just keep surprising me. First the prostitutes, now this. You’re worse than Rafi!” She started to walk off.
That comment pissed me off.
Stepping outside, I hollered, “Worse than Rafi? Are you fucking joking? How the fuck am I worse than him? Because he don’t like hookers and only has kids with you? At least I treated yo’ ass like a human being, like a woman I was into instead of something for me to climb on top of and fuck in secrecy!”
“Fuck you!” she roared.
“I may have some issues, but I won’t let you tell me I ain’t treat you better than that nigga, because I did.”
Priscilla stood there, fists balled at her sides as she panted heavily. If someone put a gun in her hand right now, I was positive she’d shoot me.
“If lying to me about having a baby and sleeping with nasty women then coming to sleep with me is treating me better, then I might as well be single for the rest of my life.” Turning around, she switched off, and I just watched, having no reply.
Going back inside, I tried to get back to work, but I was too irritated and stressed. I hadn’t had any pussy, the kind I preferred, and I still had feelings for a woman who was acting weak.
Priscilla was far from weak, but she was playing the part, and I hated the shit. It also made me hate that nigga Rafi even more, because he ain’t deserve her.
Closing my computer and shutting everything down, I packed my bag up to head out. I had an urge to visit Swan or Carrie, and since Priscilla and I were done, I figured why not. Shit, I’d been ‘sober’ for a couple weeks now, and that had done nothing, so I was ending the drought tonight.
After getting in my car, I sped off toward the hotel I had the girls in. Despite me not having slept with them, I still paid the bill for them to live in their suites.
Upon arrival, I started toward the elevator, then rode up to the level Swan was on.
Using my key, I entered, but no one was inside. Frowning, I searched the whole room, wondering where the fuck she was. I knew she hadn’t moved because I still saw her shit laid out. A perfume was in the air too, so she was definitely here today at some point.
Just as I was about to leave, I heard Swan giggling, then the door handle turn. It opened, and in walked Swan smiling so hard that the corners of her mouth were touching her ears. Behind her was some tall, light-skinned nigga with a low fade and long ass beard. Nigga looked like he’d just gotten out of jail thirty minutes ago.
“Fuck is this, Swan?” I hissed, pointing to old boy.
“Laron, this is Will. Will, this is my boyfriend, Laron. We won’t be long. I’m just going to change and then we’re going to dinner and his place.”
Laron and I stared at one another for a moment before I said, “Swan, let me talk to you privately for a second.”
“Why the fuck you need—” Laron started, but Swan palmed his chest to stop him.
“It’s fine. He’s harmless,” she had the nerve to say, I guess to appease this nigga.
“Nah, I’ll go in there.” Laron started toward the bedroom portion, not wanting Swan and I in there for privacy.
Once he shut the door, I looked down into her innocent face.
“Will, I know I should’ve told you that Laron and I were more serious, but I didn’t think about it. I can have my stuff out of the room by tomorrow afternoon.”
“Swan, I came here for services. Tell his ass to go home and wait for you. It won’t take me long.”
She frowned as she looked up into my face before shaking her head.
“Will, no, I—,” she hugged herself, “I decided to stop that.”
“Stop what?”
“Offering services. Now that Laron and I are together, things have changed. He got me a job that I start on Monday, working for a law office. I’m moving in with him too.”
“Aight. Aight, that’s fine. This can be the last night.”
“No, I’ve stopped already. I’m not going to restart things just because you want. I appreciate you getting me out of Geena’s, even though she tried to ruin me for it, and you, but I don’t want this anymore. I’ve never liked doing it, and I told you that.”
“Because of his ass?” I scowled, pointing to the closed door that led to the room he was in.
“No, because of
me, and—”
“Then send him on his way so we can handle our business. I’ll pay you the same rate with no cuddling and shit.” I smiled, but her face was emotionless.
“I am not about to send my man home to fuck you, Will. I want to go to dinner with him, then end the night fucking him, not you.”
“You’d rather fuck him for free than get paid for it with me?” I sucked my teeth. “Yeah right.”
“Yeah, I would. The sex is better because I love him, and I can tell he loves me by the way he touches me.”
I chuckled down into her face.
“Will he love you once he finds out you’re a professional hoe? How he gon’ feel knowing his woman sells pussy?”
“Will—”
“Just once.” I started groping her body, backing her to the wall.
“Will, stop. Will! I’m serious. I said I don’t want to!” She began fighting against me, yelling, so that jailbird came from the room with the quickness.
“You got it.” I immediately let her go, throwing my hands up. I didn’t stop because I was afraid of this nigga, but because raping a female wasn’t me. And the fact that I was about to let me know shit had gone too far.
WHAM!
I’d turned to leave, but still, he punched me in the back of the head, making me whip around. I hit his ass back, and from there, we began tussling, throwing punches that caused blood speckles to soar.
“Stop! Oh my gosh! Stop it right now!” Swan hollered, but we both ignored her.
We kept going until he luckily landed a punch on the top portion of my head, making me fall to the floor.
“Ah!” I grunted as he delivered several kicks to my stomach and back.
“Laron, Laron, please, baby. We need to go. He’s famous!” Swan pleaded with her nigga.
Staring down at me with his face twisted the fuck up in anger, he stomped on my stomach and then uttered, “Get yo’ shit right now. Ain’t no coming back tomorrow.” He was speaking to Swan but glaring down at me.
